where have we seen this camera lens before I was a little taken aback today so I shared this with you earlier in April on April 3rd we guess the iPhone se would have somewhat of a similar design and I literally could not believe it when I saw this that is the same lens well just a little bit different but this was a complete guest mind you we didn't know but that is almost the identical lens just different mic placement different proportions on Apple's new iPhone 11 R so what do you guys think I personally like it a lot you know this is it only makes sense in the lineup with the iPhone 11 and 11 max which again I don't know what they're gonna be called that's what I'm calling them for 2019 it's gonna look a little out of place to have a single lens camera and we knew the dual lens was coming we just didn't know it would be looking like this so Apple has decided to put them vertically and stretch to the right with that flash there's a little tiny microphone there in comparison with the iPhone 11 max I think it looks pretty decently well proportioned so let's break down all those tiny details the first thing that I notice is the mute switch is not the same as on the iPhone 11 and 11 max it still retains the old form factor it's clear here that Apple wants to keep that divide between budgets and high-end very visible and they're gonna start with the mute switch most of the change actually all of it is happening on the back there's of course I new camera lens other than that I really couldn't notice any physical differences interesting to note is that the width of the phone is growing by a belief point three millimeters and of course you won't be able to tell that's but it could be an error as they did cross-outs specifications and update them seemingly just a few moments ago while the iPhone 11 and 11 max are getting slightly slightly microscopically reduced bezels the iPhone 11 are will not so that's remaining as is all the changes happening on the camera on the back now the colors shown here are yellow blue white and red I wasn't able to see any of the other 10-hour colors but that doesn't mean that those colors are the ones that I was going to ship we did it here earlier that Apple is testing out green colors so do expect that of course closer to September we might hear some more stuff about that so let's talk about that camera believe it or not the iPhone 10 R is a very significant device it's out selling the iPhone 11 and 11 max and it's quite popular it turns out people would rather save a buck or a couple hundred instead of getting an organic LED display because it offers most of what the more expensive iPhones offer an Apple of course wants to take that foothold and improve upon it with a dual lens camera so let's talk about this camera on leaks is saying it's going to remain a 12 megapixel sensor it's gaining an ultra-wide lens so same as the iPhone 11 and 11 max all of the 2019 iPhones will be gaining an ultra wide camera again I like that Apple is in differentiating whichever one you choose you're still getting those camera upgrades now you're not going to be getting the same zoom capabilities and whatever else the iPhone 11 max will be offering but it's still going to be quite capable now why would they do this first and foremost of course it's just kind of hard to sell a single lens phone in 2019 and Apple realizes that so they're upgrading that to a dual lens camera and it's still not at the triple so it's not competing fully with 11 and 11 max but it's an upgrade from the iPhone at 10 are also port remote so max wine back I'm tying this in with a leak from him he's saying that portrait mode will be gaining a video mode so likely Huawei P 20 and P 30 Pro Series you'll be able to actually record live portrait mode with the blur effect in the background and of course edit that later in post and the Apple a 13 Bionic will allow this that's just going to be an insane amount of power in your with you a lot of my friends call it the iPhone X they don't even know that it's the iPhone 10 they just read it like it's a letter so imagine the mess Apple is about to get into with the iPhone X I
