What's Up, Guys? - The Future of Smartphones
2018 was an amazing year for smartphones, and it looks like 2019 is going to be even better. In this video, we're taking a look at some of the top upcoming smartphones of this year. January has already gone, and in February, we'll be having the official announcements of the S10s, and they are first on our list.
Samsung's S10 Series: A New Era for Smartphones?
From the leaks and rumors so far, it looks like we're going to have three main versions of the S10. There's going to be an S10E, a regular S10, as well as an S10+, all of these with minimal bezels, and a punchout for the front-facing cameras. The S10E is rumored to be the more affordable option, with a flat display and two rear-facing cameras. On the other hand, the S10 and S10+ are going to have curved displays with three rear-facing cameras each.
The Samsung S10 Series: A Closer Look
The S10 series is expected to bring some exciting changes to the smartphone world. The new design will feature minimal bezels, giving users more screen real estate. The punchout front-facing camera is a new feature that has been tested on various prototypes and has shown promising results. We can expect the S10E to be the most budget-friendly option in the series, while the S10+ will be the flagship model with all the bells and whistles.
The iPhone 11 Series: A New Era for Apple?
Around September time, we'll be officially hearing about the new iPhones, which are likely to be called the iPhone 11s. However, we're still not sure about some of the design leaks that have surfaced. We've seen early prototypes with triple rear-facing cameras, which could potentially lead to an even better camera system than the current iPhone XS. The middle arrangement doesn't look too bad, and we might see a side arrangement that's not in a square block.
The Apple iPhone 11 Series: A Closer Look
The new iPhones are expected to bring some exciting changes to the Apple ecosystem. The triple rear-facing cameras could potentially lead to an even better camera system than the current iPhone XS. We've also seen early leaks about the front of the device, which suggests that we might still be having a notch. However, the bezels might be slightly smaller, which could make for a more streamlined design.
Huawei P30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro: A New Era for Huawei?
We're going to be hearing about the Huawei P30 Pro very soon, but I'm personally more excited about the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The early pattern from Huawei actually shows a case with an even bigger cutout for the rear-facing camera, which could mean that we'll see four or even five cameras on the Mate 30 Pro.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro: A Closer Look
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to bring some exciting changes to the smartphone world. The latest 990 Kirin processor from Huawei could potentially lead to faster performance and better battery life. We've also seen early leaks about the design, which suggests that we might see a larger display and even bigger cutout for the rear-facing camera.
Other Upcoming Smartphones
There are also some other devices that we have very limited information about right now. The Note 10 is likely to take lots of features from the S10 series and improve on them with a bigger battery, bigger display, and the S Pen. We can't wait to see what Samsung has in store for us.
The Google Pixel 4s: A New Era for Google?
We're also going to be hearing about the new Pixels soon, which are likely to be called the Google Pixel 4s. However, we have very limited information right now. We do know that the primary camera is absolutely awesome for images, and having a wide-angle camera on the back would be really exciting.
The Google Pixel 4s: A Closer Look
The new Pixels are expected to bring some exciting changes to the Google ecosystem. The primary camera is already one of the best in the industry, and adding a wide-angle camera could potentially make it even better. We've also seen early leaks about the design, which suggests that we might not see a notch this year.
Conclusion
Those are the top upcoming smartphones that I'm personally most looking forward to. What do you guys think? Are there any other devices that you're excited about? Let us know in the comments below. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- What's up, guys?Saf here on SuperSafTV.2018 was an amazing year for smartphones. It looks like 2019 isgoing to be even better, and in this video, we'regoing to be taking a lookat some of the top upcomingsmartphones of this year.January has already gone, and in Feb,we are going to be havingthe official announcementsof the S10s, and theyare first on this list. Now, from the leaks and rumors so far,it looks like we're going to havethree main versions of the S10.There's going to be anS10E, a regular S10,as well as an S10+, all ofthese with minimal bezels, and a punchout for thefront-facing cameras, the S10E and the S10 with asingle front-facing camera, the S10+ with two front-facing cameras. Now, the S10E is rumored tobe the more affordable option, with a flat display andtwo rear-facing cameras. The S10 and S10+ are goingto have curved displayswith three rear-facing cameras. In addition to that, we'rerumored to have ultrasonicin-display fingerprint sensors, which are going to be moreadvanced, more accurate, and more secure comparedto the optical solutionsthat we have currently. The top tier S10+ is also rumoredto have up to 12 gigabytes of RAMwith one terabyte ofstorage, which is insane. There may also be a special S10 versionwhich is going to support 5G.That's going to be cominga little bit later on.Overall, very, very exciting.20th of Feb is when the UNPACKED event is,and I, for one, cannot wait.If you do want to see a detailed leaksand rumors breakdown of the S10s,then I will leave that linked in the cardsand in the description. Now, moving on from that,Samsung also has a foldablethat's coming this year.If you remember, in theSamsung Developer Conferencelast year, they teasedtheir concept device, which had two displays, one at the front, and then an inner displaywhich actually folds outto give you a larger displayin a compact form factor, and it looks very, very exciting. We've seen some other implementationsof foldable and flexible screens. There is the Royole FlexPai,which seems like kind of a rushed attemptto be first, to be honest. There's also an interestingconcept from Xiaomiwhich has two folds. That's something that we saw recently, but I'm personally mostexcited for Samsung's version, because Samsung are notgoing to rush anything. They're going to have afully-fledged product, which should be really, really cool. Now, we don't have too many detailsaround this as yet, unfortunately. What is it going to be called?Maybe it's going to be calledthe Samsung Galaxy Flex, which would be quite a nicename, maybe something else. One thing we do know is that it'sgoing to be pretty expensive. We've already had some rumored priceswhich are very high, and to be honest, this is expected becauseof this new technology, but regardless, it is a devicethat I'm very much looking forward to,and it's definitely going to be oneof the most exciting devices of 2019.Now, moving on, OnePlus. The OnePlus 7 is likely to be comingaround May to June time.Although OnePlus is no longerconsidered a budget brandbecause prices of OnePlusdevices have been going upyear and year, they are stillvery competitively pricedcompared to other flagship devices, and still some of the bestbang for buck devices you can buy. We've had one main leaked imageof what appear to beprototypes of the OnePlus 7.There's one with a waterdrop notchand smaller bezels comparedto what we've seen on the 6T.Then we've got one whichhas pretty much no bezelson the top and the sides. We don't see the bottom as yet. This is supposedly going to be a sliderlike we've got on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3.Now, small bezels do seemto be the trend this year, and if OnePlus do gowith this pretty much bezel-less design, then I'm sure it's goingto create a lot of buzz.In terms of other additional features,we're not too sure yet.It is likely that we're going to havethe top of the top specs,so the Snapdragon 855,and lots of RAM.There is also going tobe a special editionof the OnePlus 7 whichis going to support 5G,although I wouldn'texpect 5G to be supportedacross all OnePlus 7 devices.I am personally hoping for stereo speakersand wireless charging. Two of these thingsare currently missing on OnePlus devices.Moving on, later on in theyear, around September time,is when we're going tobe officially hearingabout the new iPhones. They're likely to becalled the iPhone 11s,but we're still not sure, and we have seen some early leaks. Now, these early leaksare not set in stone. They are prototypes. Some of them look a little bit weird, but we do see triple rear-facing cameras,at least for the Plus version. This is really exciting. The iPhone XS is currently oneof my favorite smartphone cameras,so triple cameras should be even better, potentially with an ultrawide, although I'm not too sureabout some of the design leaks. The middle arrangementdoesn't look too bad. We're going to have a side arrangement, not in a square block. These are still question marksbecause it is very early stages, and in terms of the front of the device,it looks like we stillwill be having a notch, according to early sources, although the bezels mightbe slightly smaller. Now, we are going to be hearingabout the Huawei P30 Pro very soon, but I'm personally more excitedabout the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.That is going to have thelatest 990 Kirin processorfrom Huawei, and theearly pattern from Huaweiactually shows a casewith an even bigger cutoutfor the rear-facing camera,so could this mean that we're going to seemaybe four or even fivecameras on the Mate 30 Pro?This is still a bit of a question mark, but it will be pretty insane.I've been hugely impressedwith the battery lifeof the Huawei Mate 20 Pro,so I'm assuming that'sjust going to be increasedon the Mate 30 Pro, and I'm hopingthat they're going to begetting rid of the notch.Huawei already have the technologyfor a punchout front-facing camera, which we've seen on the Honor View 20,so it might be that, for the Mate 30,that is what we're goingto see on the display. Now, in addition to these devices, there are also some other deviceswhich we have very limitedinformation about right now. There is, of course, going to be the Note 10.This is likely to takelots of the featuresthat we're going to have on the S10and kind of improve on themwith a bigger battery, bigger display, the S Pen.Then the Pixels, the Google Pixel 4s,once again, very limitedinformation right now.Are they going to have dual cameras?I would like to see dualcameras on the Pixels. The primary camera isabsolutely awesome for images, and having maybe a wideangle camera on the backlike we've got on the frontshould also be really exciting.Hopefully, they won'thave a notch this year. The notch was one ofthe biggest criticismsof the Google Pixel 3 XL.I mean, that thing was huge, so maybe, this year, Google are goingto learn from their mistakes, and have punchouts forthe front-facing cameras.Once again, it's very, very early stages,so we've got a bit of a question mark, but nevertheless, I'mvery much looking forwardto the new Pixels. Those are the top upcoming smartphonesthat I'm personallymost looking forward to.What are you guys most looking forward to?Definitely drop thatin the comments below.Of course, we'll behaving lots more leaks, rumors, and hands-on coverageof all of these devicesas and when they're released. If you want to see allof that coverage first, then be sure to subscribe, and hit that bell icon soyou don't miss any coverage.I hope you enjoyed thisvideo and found it useful. If you did, then do hit thatthumbs up button for me.Thanks for watching. This is Saf on SuperSafTV.I'll see you next time.\n"
