**The Author's First Impressions with the Camera**

Get some shots all right and uh guys you're going to have to forgive me as I'm not adjust to this camera I'm recording in auto mode right now well somewhat Auto auto exposure check out the uh autofocus here what's up guys wow this thing zooms much further than my GH4 that's for sure oh my goodness this feels next gen wow the weight was certainly worth it while we're out here with this amazing Zoom let's check out my Wildlife so these are our pheasants here this guy lost an ey in the war he still got another one so you can kind of sneak up on him then he looks at you with his other eye and sees you that's the females there oh my goodness this stabilization is ridiculously good I am so impressed.

Always hungry eternally hungry I'll show you guys the new chicks so this is low light here so those are our cheeky chicks sup buddy are you not afraid what um autofocus is having a little problem here all right buddy you asked for it damn I'm so beyond impressed take note Apple this is how shutter should go from light to dark smooth transition very very gentle on the iPhone on the other hand I just wanted to show you guys a couple projects I'm working on so this just got delivered today all these warning messages in here are so scary biomedical and whatnot so this is a ultra low temperature freezer I'm going to be using this for like some uh low temp freezing tests on the iPhone and whatnot so it's been like 4 hours since I put this in here wow and it's frozen solid wow so there's an iPhone in there and this is pretty much Frozen I'd say yep damn that's impressive so it's operating at -31 supposed to reach 35 but our iPhone is okay I think I actually just installed the Ducati 1199s headlights on my 899 and they look absolutely awesome it's kind of scary at first I had to take the whole front cowling off and uh with my friend Dino my cameraman usually we soldered some wires over there so it's scary but we got it done hey buddy what's up oh my goodness it's surprising me how how little noise there is in the dark garage and I'm still able to make out a lot of details on my dark jet black cat oh my goodness this is blowing my mind now it's chewing through batteries like crazy for real like I started at 3 and now I'm at 1 here all right let me show you what else is going on I also wanted to show you guys another project um I'm working on in the meantime so this right here is a Audi R8 headlight 2017 it's a laser enabled one so this blue uh over here basically means it's laser so this headlight if you were to buy from Audi costs anywhere from $7 to $9,000 for One Headlight I managed to get them for much cheaper online and I'm picking my car up here soon so I wanted to retrofit these to my car it's not simple we got all the diagrams basically mapping out how to do it and if if I have any electricians that are watching this I would appreciate some help but we essentially got the gist of it just waiting to get the car uh what we did was we took the laser one and non-Laser one basically comparing the wiring then I'm going to coat it and hope pray that it works because this is not cheap whatsoever but we're hoping to get that done so yeah there's that and I just wanted to show you guys an example of what I've done before so um this right here is the Euro tail lights on my A4 personally I retrofitted these so kind of like a dynamic turn signal so I've done plenty of retrofits before that doesn't ease my mind if I doing any one on the RH with the headlights but still I've got some experience um if anyone has any input leave a comment I'd love to hear it from you guys.

All right guys so there it is I am beyond impressed with this camera like wow it's blowing my mind how good it is the screen um on the side is so sharp I love the colors it's OLED it looks really good the viewfinder I haven't had a chance to look at that yet but I love the double SD cards the stabilization the focus 200 and something points of autofocus compared to 49 on the old one that's just insane it's an upgrade Head Over Heels better than the old one so I'm excited to be making more and more more videos as I get adjusted to this camera but just wanted to share what's going on with you guys hope you guys enjoyed this video something random I just wanted to show you guys what's going on right now in my life

you usually do but let's just talk about me my setup my channel a little bit of everything um mostly the new camera so today I got my Panasonic gh5 haven't even opened it the guy just dropped it off so so excited I wanted to get this moment on camera now the reason I'm so excited is because this is a generation jump you know back in the day I used to record my videos in 10 80P at 60 frames per second now I'm at 4K 30 frames per second and I've always wanted to jump back to 60 so 4K was kind of a better quality and I wanted to stick with that but now I can have the best of both worlds with 4K at 60 frames per second and this is the first actually like cheap consumer ready camera that has this feature built in so I'm so excited about that um let's talk about my setup uh just some things I'm planning to do um just give you guys an update what's going on on this channel I'm sorry it's it's really hard for me to talk right now as my throat really hurts it's been sick for a couple days so um do keep that in mind as I'm talking here now to begin with I have the world's fastest SD card right now so Sony just released this thing it reads at 300 megabytes per second and writes at 299 megabytes per second um okay before I get into the unboxing I just wanted to say though I'm filming on the Panasonic GH4 for the last couple of years I've been doing that before that the 5D Mark iiii uh before that the Canon T2i which is incredibly a very capable camera all right guys so let's check this out seriously this camera I've been waiting for it and waiting and waiting and they released it a bit late but it comes with so many features 1022 video so you're going to get millions of new colors in 4k at 30 and here it is man gh5 Beauty I also did get the new standard lens I really like these just because of how close you can get subjects like I do a lot of videos in this orientation and these kind of lenses suit me very very well all right so I'll open that in a second but this guy first so my current GH4 is like the out of state version out of country it was a little bit cheaper but this one I got in the USA so I'm not sure if there was any sort of difference there but they seem to be cheaper if you buy them overseas okay and here it is oh wow that feels a little bit bigger so this thing I believe is 15% bigger than the GH4 but it's freeze resistant and uh oh yeah it's definitely a little bit chunkier but not by much even if this thing was double the size I would still be using it because of the 4K 60 but all right cool thing is it still uses the same battery as the GH4 they didn't go and do a cash grab make it some other different size so you had to buy another one yeah it's literally the same size but what's cool about the gh5 is that it has double SD card slots now so it'll continuously record and if you guys know the GH4 at all it only records in 10-minute segments now it can record one super long file and cross over onto the other SD card if you're running out of room has a much bigger door now than the GH4 so that is interesting we've got oh a little joystick here that's new very interesting overall the orientation is very familiar all of the same buttons pretty much up here and a record button instead of down here is now up here um these are less rubbery I believe oh no they're very similar actually and this is an OLED display a ton of more pixels now more colors and the viewfinder is bigger in here too it's going to be hard to show you that on camera uh let's get that lens open pop it on here and it's going to be hard to compare both of these cameras because I'm filming with that one but I want to get some test footage with the gh5 for you all right still a very neat and tidy lens I've heard good things about this guy pop the lens hood on oh it's got a nice quick release now so I guess it locks it in place all right and this has a new stabilized new autofocus so autofocus issues should be better as I did have a lot of autofocus issues with the GH4 which was one of my biggest complaints all right pop it on and here it is guys my new setup so excited to start using it now it does protrude a little bit more than the GH4 so I'm going to go ahead and take the other camera just to give you guys a little size comparison here with my iPhone uh but it is a definitely a bigger camera than the one so here they are side by side and as you can see there is a difference both the lens is wider here um I would say they don't it doesn't protrude that much more just a little bit in the front here let me take these off so as you can see the lens itself is a little bit wider um so it does protrude maybe half an inch more it is thicker in the body Panasonic gh5 has more mics up here onboard audio sucks bad on this one so maybe they improve that on there um overall I wouldn't say it's much heavier definitely feels pretty good so wow let me get to using this thing wow I don't know what it is I don't know if it's the new high resolution uh viewfinder here or what but this looks abs absolutely stunning autofocus H it's going to take a little while to get used to that it's it's pretty slow what the heck I expected it to
