The Return of a Beloved Car
It's been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over. A beloved car has been brought back to life, and its owner is thrilled to share the experience with fans. The car in question is none other than a iconic model that was previously owned by Dave, who had expressed his desire to see it return. And now, thanks to the efforts of its current owner, the car is once again on the road.
The reunion was emotional for all involved. As the owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, recalls, "I'd been thinking about bringing it back because we know some of you just wanted it. I want it back." Dave's enthusiasm was palpable, with him exclaiming, "Dave wants it back!" The owner confirms that they're good to go and ready to take the car out for a spin.
As the owner fired up the engine, it was clear that this was more than just a routine check-up. They expressed their excitement and nervousness as they approached the car. "I'm excited all right," they said with a grin. The owner couldn't resist teasing Dave about his impatience, joking that he had impulse control issues when it came to driving the car. However, there was no denying the sense of nostalgia that filled the air.
The first drive was a momentous occasion, and the owner describes it as "surreal." They were nervous standing back, waiting for the car's engine to warm up before taking it out for a spin. As they put the pedal to the metal, the sound of flames shooting from the back of the car was music to their ears.
The team behind the restoration had done an incredible job bringing this classic car back to life. The owner praises the work that went into repairing and restoring the vehicle, calling it "an amazing team" effort. They were thrilled to see the finished product and couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in what they'd accomplished.
However, it's clear that there's still some work to be done before this car is truly roadworthy. The owner highlights several areas where improvements are needed, including the suspension system, airbox, and inlet tube. They also mention the need for new accumulators, brackets, and other components to ensure the vehicle meets safety standards.
The goal is to get the car ready in time for Car Week, which takes place in two weeks. The owner notes that the team has already begun working on the necessary repairs and is aiming to complete them within the given timeframe. While there's still a way to go, it's heartening to see the progress being made.
One notable aspect of the restoration was the registration of the car's new plate number: "Tire Slayer Studios" from Compton. The owner quips that they're not sure if this will lead to any trouble with the authorities, but for now, they're just enjoying the thrill of driving a high-performance machine like this.
In conclusion, the return of this beloved car is a testament to the dedication and passion of its current owner and the team behind the restoration. With some final tweaks still needed, it's clear that this car will be ready to hit the road in no time – just don't expect Dave to wait any longer for his chance to drive it!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey Mike what's going on brother this uh car has to get buttoned up really quick so why he's back he's back so I sent him a message saying that we got the car running do you know what you've done that's it I can't wait to drive it and then I said well the car's not ready to drive yet we haven't charged the suspension system ECU is still flopping around I'm just waiting for him to show up here any minute now and go all right where are the keys I want to drive this thing and he will not care that it's not ready to drive he's just gonna jump in and drive it oh my god dude you're telling me if anything breaks on the car when he's driving it who do you think he's gonna look at Tim fair point so what do we need to do in order to get this car drivable well like obviously we don't have a body for it and the hood would have to be taped shut you got to put the hood latch back up I'll put the hood I got a mouth the ECU somehow because it's supposed to go like hit the bracket is um destroyed but I'm gonna try to hammer it back into shape bolt it on here to get it to hold the ECU gotta check the oil we gotta see if it goes in gear the shock system fluids probably low because we popped the lines off and plugged it into the new shop we don't have the right tool to do that it's going to be a little bit Pogo sticky because it's going to be just bouncing around on the springs and the shocks aren't really going to be working that well well it's a good thing that Damon drives cars pretty easy yeah he won't even notice right yeah right yeah we have hours of work to do before he gets here but he may get here at any moment we're running out of time Damon's going to be here in like an hour maybe that's what's left of the ECU box but it's not I don't know it's not terrible a couple minutes with a hammer a dolly and it should be able to get it kind of back into shape to where it holds the ECU I think I'm looking for the hood latch it's not in here here are the bolts here's the bag that is supposed to be in oh there it is oh damn yeah I don't even know how this goes on the car I never saw it bolted in it's got some looks like some mounting screws there so figure it out one step at a time now I gotta find those find that Hardware we're good just need the bag of Hardware okay I know it's some probably some four millimeter bolts maybe five millimeter bolts but it works for putting cars that are pretty disassembled back together is trying to find hardware and trying to find out where said Hardware goes because we didn't take apart the car we didn't put them in these bags that aren't labeled so we'll just take the whole box downstairs all right 100 different labels on it and it looks like mostly suspension stuff yeah those are looking like our best bet pull this onto the air box first whenever you're working on a car that someone else has disassembled or in this case a completely crashed car with everything broken and you know the body shop pulled a ton of these parts off and I've never worked on one of these before it is always tough to figure out what bolts go where the McLaren is completely new to me so the way they use their hardware and what they use and what spaces is completely different now ECU looks like it goes in this way which means the wires have to come from the bottom I gotta undo our tape job here sticky stuff man all right Mike Here Comes man the ultimate test can you make it in that trash can let's go still gotta fix this obviously because there is no latch holding this plug in like this one I'll have to figure out if we need to d-pin this whole connector or if there's enough now it looks like it's completely broken on top too maybe there's a split there so maybe the inside of these connectors come out and we don't have to depend it we can just slide another housing onto it that would be ideal deep pinning every single one of these wires and putting them back into their appropriate places of trying to de-pin it and Mark everyone with a little piece of tape or something as one two three four it's a 105 pin connector it's probably a day-long job just to do that I figured out which way the ECU goes in here like this connector is down to get these things plugged in make sure this one is all the way in there all right Tim tape it up foreign everything on a McLaren is quite interesting the ECU about four inches behind the tire wires that go in there basically clip into the air box so they don't hit the tire I'm sure there's a wheel liner that goes in interesting packaging you need to make sure that to get these up and out of the way and all of these are missing their little metal Clips there's one here so I'm going to try to pop that off and put it into one of these but we still need to at least get one more so I can get one cable secured and then zip tie the other one to it so it won't come loose and drag on the tire because it'll rub through those wires really quick and short out the ECU and then the car will not be running anymore all right well that's looking somewhat secure and now I can zip tie these two together it should be good to go probably not necessary to bolt on this bumper reinforcement but we have it might as well bolt it on just in case it's not it's not working here for me a lot of air in there still not much water left though let me put some coolant in first because I filled up the filled up most of it with water last time so we can put some more coolant in here we added another quarter of a gallon in there so I think I'm gonna try to start this thing up see if it goes in gear step number one if it doesn't go in gear we're not doing anything today get the autel hook it up basically the scanner and I'll just try clearing all the codes and then just we'll see what pops up after that because I'm sure there's a lot of codes on there right now that won't come back probably from the crash or from low coolant or whatever might have been low battery so we'll get all those erased all right let's see if it recognizes the key this time license plate lamp fault that is the least of our worries why it says airbag bulb because no airbags were deployed you guys ready I'm gonna see if it goes in here yep nothing well let's clear the codes and see if that does anything Tim you want to get the autel it says steering fluid level is low also so I'm going to top that up right now there's just tons of lights on the dash it's literally a Christmas tree in there but we're just going to clear all the codes and see what pops back up I got some steering fluid here which is also tied into the shock system so it's the same pump that runs the power steering and all the shocks so makes sense why it's low so I'm gonna top it up so we have the auto hooked up to the OBD port on the 720 and it actually connected to the vehicle this time ah McLaren manual selection this is a coupe and uh what is this a 19 18 19 because it was made in 7 18. got it there we go oh come on Mark what's wrong with the Internet bro I have no idea I don't think it needs to be connected to the internet to work does it no I think it's Network like to car communication is uh it's failing it connected earlier it connected when the car was running yeah should we try that it's usually on almost everything I've ever seen it's ignition on the car not running it is also on McLaren though that's true so we're connected to the Wi-Fi now it says yes but it still fail to access the server address so I think we figured out the problem your software subscription has expired please renew in time Mark who's on top of that you no even if I was I'm not uh yes I guess we are out of budget renew Mark I didn't know we were doing it today apparently we are now at the IT team well I do not know what the email or the password is so um what are we gonna do we don't we don't have a basic scanner there's one in the door of the van grab it a basic scanner grab it yeah I think it's on the passenger side careful we got to take care of this vehicle should be right down there uh well we're missing some actually that one's missing one and uh it's like this one's missing one but don't let that bother you safety is the utmost priority here at Daily driven Exotics that's right just ask HR Tim I'm HR all right Mark ready for battle of the scanner yeah dude see how much money we could have saved on that piece of crap over there definitely save the subscription fee that's for sure don't feel like this is as capable oh what makes you say that Mike like Tim's on his game boy right now this only goes up to 2014. so I'm gonna have to choose not listed no you must have just been on some other menu or something 14 13 next and it goes back to what how long has this been in the van or something is it there okay we are in Mazda Mercury I don't see McLaren on here did they even have McLarens in 2014 what was the first year they made them um there was definitely what was the the MP4 what year was that maybe 2012. so yeah real close to that there was the um in the F1 yeah but I don't think that had an obd4 I guess not listed it is again there you go is this your vehicle confirmed no nothing maybe all right well let's just try and uh erase whatever codes it has unlock unlocked key in the cup holder Mike you're scaring me maybe hit it 10 times the ignition turns on still got a lot of coats that doesn't sound good that was really weird didn't want to start held the starter button down for a long time and I actually had to hold the brake with my left foot give it a little throttle and kind of get it going because it didn't want to start and then that smoke disappeared so it was just water a lot of water though still a lot of water it's on E85 and E85 does create a lot of moisture but we had it fairly warmed up before we shut it off really weird all right so now the engine code is gone yeah so that went off which that's awesome we have airbag we have seatbelt tire pressure that's parking brake I believe that's a warning light I think just because there's a bunch of other warnings not sure but I don't know see if this thing will go in here now oh it's in Reverse you're in Reverse yeah oh uh dude bring it back oh it says paddle shift unavailable because the door is open you can't drive this thing with the doors up you can't ghost ride your whip but only backwards that's safer yeah that's safer it's in gear oh yes let's go how does it feel uh uh well I went one mile an hour it's in gear forward works first gear at least reverse works that was really weird with a startup with all that smoke that came out or steam or whatever it was it looked thick like it was oil smoke you could have like a cracked block or a bad head gasket to where it gets warmed up you shut the car off and then coolant is actually dripping into the cylinder or into the head or something like that and then you go to start it up and now you're burning off all this coolant that's in the cylinder that's a kind of worst case scenario so I'm hoping it's not that doesn't really make sense all right what's up yo Jamie just pulled up wait what Damon's here I thought it was gonna be later no he just got here okay he's here yeah Dave was on a different flight I couldn't get on his flight so I flew in last night ended up being super late like got in at like 2 30 in the morning so we were texting and I was like hey you hungry he's like yeah like cool I'll order some food so when I get to the shop the food will show up and then you'll show up and we all show it up and now we're here and now we're all here Tim's here how was your flight you flew uh economy holy crap lately because the business class has been like before business classes was like 500 now it's like 2500 to book a last minute really so let's check his don't book last minute or so you won't get on a flight or you'll fly in the back with me why is the car cover on this thing right now what's going on spot another Lamborghini it looks like the 720 so it's kind of giving it away it's got McLaren Vibes 720 720. sweet GCR so how is this I saw you guys making crazy progress it runs it runs it runs really it goes in gear first and reverse homie's just waiting for the bad news I didn't I can see how he sets me up like this yeah okay so we did start it up no we didn't do it yeah ready for you well first I want to check make sure we don't have any bubbles in the coolant or anything like that so we did start it up earlier yeah and it was like a lot of white smoke oh and then it went away and cleared up okay so what are the five possibilities of failure there I think it was just right I use the nerves rub your fingers right now yeah I think man yes you don't know power off I want to see you excited I love this car hold on you haven't seen this car since it was in pieces so since there's been a few videos where the cards are put back together you weren't there for that so last we saw this car was like a wreck like yeah wreck you can't even roll it I saw the parts a part not a part of the car but but apart you saw parts oh man Mark stop it so far so good wait just stop there just stop stop stop stop stop that's good right there Ryan what do you think back together looks good A little ding here but other than that that's just and actually I forgot that you guys came back and got the dimag war Shiner Wheels they look cool yeah I just got some cheap rollers uh for the meantime yeah these wheels are so expensive they're so cool so it's rolling it's rolling and so it's got all four wheels on yeah because that's new yeah because you got to remember I haven't seen this car roll even on our racing tape right there that's the ECU back course Izzy Tim what are you breaking now this is the one from the crash and it was still okay but this tube is tube was destroyed the ones that we got from the guys that sold the suspension was this one was melted yeah with this one but this one doesn't have a hole in it it's probably hurting the flow a little bit but for now at least we got the car running just a little just a little bit it's only about 30 blocks this is a new radiator you got yeah so that's a new radiator this is crazy man like to see this car put back together it's like actually I said I wasn't gonna get excited I'm getting pretty excited does it need an alignment probably not it's pretty close so I just kind of eyeballed it this is really cool thank you so much absolutely this is amazing you guys Tim thank you for putting it all back together okay I have a question our budget was a hundred thousand the first video is at 120 that's Canadian so it's about 100 000 us we were eight thousand on suspension what did this costs 1200. is nine grand they wouldn't call me back I called that one video they didn't answer my call we're at ten thousand dollars right now basically it right out of our budget 100. so we can save the money and buy uh investment properties well no I got a 401k I figured out the Body Solution when you have ninety thousand dollars to spend it's easy to find a body because you haven't told us yet have you guys haven't because I know in the videos Dave was like I don't know what we're gonna do for the body I haven't looked into it yet I've been working on the body yeah you have look how good this guy I have all the body panels for this car and not just the back ones you buy a wrecked car nope I have something special I'm just gonna leave you with that I don't think we want to give it all away in this video come on the downside is it's gonna be over budget probably eat up more than the last 90 grand you don't need any more money for this car right we need we need a few I think what's going on Tim what do we need I mean tail lights would be nice oh yeah shoes so we need the right tail light we need a bunch of brackets we need uh we need some small parts like a plug for the ECU because that one is broken maybe a couple Grand worth of stuff and we take a tail lights up will ground more than that you hang on we look a tail lights not gonna be cheap I'm scared to look because I went in a parking lot in Newport let me get off of this let me look at this thing I didn't think I'd show up with this all done done this is cool man thank you very much I know you guys are excited comment below thank you Mike Tim Dave found all these parts for what was it eight grand eight grand that's crazy you want to call and see if they have a tail light too oh they're cheap well that one's 600 that one's 150 so I'm guessing this one's probably cracked it doesn't have any tabs but if that's a good tail light we're buying it right now you can buy three of them all right let me look at this some more make sure nothing's broken yes I will hit the Buy It Now button read the description always read the description and then yeah because when you got the radiator you were like rang brand new looks good we got it yeah so the AC condenser that was on this radiator when we got it actually it's a lot better it actually made it a lot better it's the first startup of the 720 GTR we did start it earlier the second startup of this we actually started it twice how many times we started how many times have you started it Mike Essa twice today uh you started at Damon hadn't seen this car run yet I haven't seen it run yet hey it's the first time I've seen the car start up there you go there we go all right so you've started it a bunch of times but no one's really driven it yeah I moved it from so you have driven it all right everyone what's left for me to do here because there's issues of transmission getting punched it's gonna be an issue with Mike taking over the channel here in a second so you did drive it alone I just yeah I mean I wanted to make sure that it went in gear ah we do want to make sure that the transmission is functional so it is it is first gear at least but you guys found there was an issue with the seal yes so we have to repair that at some point yes man I have not seen this dude hold on you said there was white spots there was white smoke which is cooling it didn't smell like coolant oh this is normal oil it wasn't real oil so it was over here in the shop and it was like a cloud and it dissipated really fast so I think it was just water ah so I don't know if it was just water water serious I didn't say that look at it seriously take Dave out here in a second okay we have to yank it all apart to get it well first of all thank you so much for all the hard work that you guys have put in to getting this thing back together and started and running and the ignition because I was watching the videos and I was just going oh my gosh like I thought the the whole thing where the ignition wouldn't turn on yeah I genuinely thought that was going to be like a game over and a Big Bill I'm really glad that that didn't cost us a bunch of dumb money yeah I like that as dumb money because you're just replacing something that was working before so there's no payoff I hate that when there's no payoff it's just not repair right I want to pay off like you know when you give cops money yeah yeah yeah when are you doing that all the time should we check the water one more time we should it's a good idea the suspension system isn't charged we just bled the brakes on that one caliper just go easy but seriously the car is back together I mean of course you're gonna do a burnout I want to get this car so that demon can do multiple Burns they have a surprise for him this week involved in this car so I need this car to be bullied what the hell was that water why are they doing the pressurized Tim that's crazy it's better than a ferrariable she's like this that's a steady hand man no no no no in the last video he missed almost every time so he's just getting it now now Formula Drift champ I had coordination's a little awful you take him out of the car for a couple of months no pressure no pressure nobody's watching oh shoulder push you leaned into him yeah do you guys want us to bring back our Infamous ysob merch collection comment below because we've been thinking about bringing it back because we know some of you just wanted it I want it back Dave Dave wants it back hey it's 2019 Dave all right are we good we're good yeah well this is a big moment I'm excited all right into the car we go so I'd be nervous too standing back there I think she's April let's go oh Santa seats I remember what those were like oh I'm impressed this was all the way back you drove this house long legs all right and it's not even an engine light on yeah we cleared the code so make sure you warm it up oh so surreal I miss this car put a lot of work into this car blocking gift well it still turns all the traction control off why do you need that up that off just just it drives better dude it is I'm like 20 feet away and it is hot as hell over here it's hot like I'm over here behind the truck and it's like 20 degrees hotter like heat blasting you what in the world those are some good elevens for you that was second year time for a flame show for Old Time sake all right this one's for 2022. December 13th amen you ready yep thank you what do you think I told you dude that's wild thank you so sick brought it back to life brought him back to life joking I've learned not to let it just turn off right away gotta let the Turbo cool off good to have a back what an amazing team it was so fun watching this thing shoot flames on the back of it holy crap I just got into first gear as soon as I felt it slip and it started to come up I was just right into second held it for a second got some smoke yeah oftenheimer take that for just a first drive warming things up doing a couple of pulls I'm pumped man I'm really pumped now it's just a matter of obviously finishing a few little things to really tie this all together getting that body which I am really excited to announce what we are doing but I can't do it yet that's like that's a big thing and I am waiting for some timelines as to when I can get it there was a few delays so fingers crossed it's not a body kit situation like Dave's body kit the bigger problem we have now is that man in the room right now is excited he doesn't want to drive this car down the freeway tonight and like let's go boys I got a plate it's registered it's insured I'm good to go yeah good to go good to go no we're not there yet if you notice what the plate is yeah registered to hoonigan's Tire Slayer studios in Compton come and find me coppers well David Fryer now has impulse control issues he wants to drive the car unfortunately we have a lot of things left we have a lot left there's little things there's actually one big issue which I need to get 30 on so the last time I talked about suspension we had two on there now we have one but I thought I had to go to McLaren so did you fix the suspension so basically the shock was up here this shock the one that's not bent was bolted on but the lines were not right so it's all out of the way but we couldn't get the air box and the inlet tube and all that right in there so we had to basically pop it open and we popped it open and it sprayed all over me but there and say don't take it off yourself and it's dangerous and repressurized it's called problem in the system and air lock it and Vapor Lock and hydraulic lock and jaw lock yeah but I don't know instructions locked job from what that guy said from McLaren he said these accumulators can fail and when they fail it basically goes like the suspension gets really soft bouncy so if you're in the middle of a high speed corner you could crash that would be a problem so that's one issue we still have to get those accumulators and charge the system but there's like we have a bunch of bent brackets that we hammered back into shape how big is your list of parts to get this road worthy yeah so we need a new one of these we need a new tail light we need brackets we need the suspension to go to McLaren and be repressurized and obviously recalibrated yeah and car week is in two weeks which is over two weeks so we need to get this done in the next two weeks that's just the back end you know what that looks like right don't say it they're gonna build that in two weeks they're already working they're already working on it okay how much deposit do you put down ninety thousand dollars you paid the whole thing I put a deposit down how much was this kid this is what it looks likehey Mike what's going on brother this uh car has to get buttoned up really quick so why he's back he's back so I sent him a message saying that we got the car running do you know what you've done that's it I can't wait to drive it and then I gonna see if it goes in here yep nothing well let's clear the codes and see if that does anything Tim you want to get the autel it says steering fluid level is low also so I'm going to top that up right now there's just tons of lights on the dash it's literally a Christmas tree in there but we're just going to clear all the codes and see what pops back up I got some steering fluid here which is also tied into the shock system so it's the same pump that runs the power steering and all the shocks so makes sense why it's low so I'm gonna top it up so we have the auto hooked up to the OBD port on the 720 and it actually connected to the vehicle this time ah McLaren manual selection this is a coupe and uh what is this a 19 18 19 because it was made in 7 18. got it there we go oh come on Mark what's wrong with the Internet bro I have no idea I don't think it needs to be connected to the internet to work does it no I think it's Network like to car communication is uh it's failing it connected earlier it connected when the car was running yeah should we try that it's usually on almost everything I've ever seen it's ignition on the car not running it is also on McLaren though that's true so we're connected to the Wi-Fi now it says yes but it still fail to access the server address so I think we figured out the problem your software subscription has expired please renew in time Mark who's on top of that you no even if I was I'm not uh yes I guess we are out of budget renew Mark I didn't know we were doing it today apparently we are now at the IT team well I do not know what the email or the password is so um what are we gonna do we don't we don't have a basic scanner there's one in the door of the van grab it a basic scanner grab it yeah I think it's on the passenger side careful we got to take care of this vehicle should be right down there uh well we're missing some actually that one's missing one and uh it's like this one's missing one but don't let that bother you safety is the utmost priority here at Daily driven Exotics that's right just ask HR Tim I'm HR all right Mark ready for battle of the scanner yeah dude see how much money we could have saved on that piece of crap over there definitely save the subscription fee that's for sure don't feel like this is as capable oh what makes you say that Mike like Tim's on his game boy right now this only goes up to 2014. so I'm gonna have to choose not listed no you must have just been on some other menu or something 14 13 next and it goes back to what how long has this been in the van or something is it there okay we are in Mazda Mercury I don't see McLaren on here did they even have McLarens in 2014 what was the first year they made them um there was definitely what was the the MP4 what year was that maybe 2012. so yeah real close to that there was the um in the F1 yeah but I don't think that had an obd4 I guess not listed it is again there you go is this your vehicle confirmed no nothing maybe all right well let's just try and uh erase whatever codes it has unlock unlocked key in the cup holder Mike you're scaring me maybe hit it 10 times the ignition turns on still got a lot of coats that doesn't sound good that was really weird didn't want to start held the starter button down for a long time and I actually had to hold the brake with my left foot give it a little throttle and kind of get it going because it didn't want to start and then that smoke disappeared so it was just water a lot of water though still a lot of water it's on E85 and E85 does create a lot of moisture but we had it fairly warmed up before we shut it off really weird all right so now the engine code is gone yeah so that went off which that's awesome we have airbag we have seatbelt tire pressure that's parking brake I believe that's a warning light I think just because there's a bunch of other warnings not sure but I don't know see if this thing will go in here now oh it's in Reverse you're in Reverse yeah oh uh dude bring it back oh it says paddle shift unavailable because the door is open you can't drive this thing with the doors up you can't ghost ride your whip but only backwards that's safer yeah that's safer it's in gear oh yes let's go how does it feel uh uh well I went one mile an hour it's in gear forward works first gear at least reverse works that was really weird with a startup with all that smoke that came out or steam or whatever it was it looked thick like it was oil smoke you could have like a cracked block or a bad head gasket to where it gets warmed up you shut the car off and then coolant is actually dripping into the cylinder or into the head or something like that and then you go to start it up and now you're burning off all this coolant that's in the cylinder that's a kind of worst case scenario so I'm hoping it's not that doesn't really make sense all right what's up yo Jamie just pulled up wait what Damon's here I thought it was gonna be later no he just got here okay he's here yeah Dave was on a different flight I couldn't get on his flight so I flew in last night ended up being super late like got in at like 2 30 in the morning so we were texting and I was like hey you hungry he's like yeah like cool I'll order some food so when I get to the shop the food will show up and then you'll show up and we all show it up and now we're here and now we're all here Tim's here how was your flight you flew uh economy holy crap lately because the business class has been like before business classes was like 500 now it's like 2500 to book a last minute really so let's check his don't book last minute or so you won't get on a flight or you'll fly in the back with me why is the car cover on this thing right now what's going on spot another Lamborghini it looks like the 720 so it's kind of giving it away it's got McLaren Vibes 720 720. sweet GCR so how is this I saw you guys making crazy progress it runs it runs it runs really it goes in gear first and reverse homie's just waiting for the bad news I didn't I can see how he sets me up like this yeah okay so we did start it up no we didn't do it yeah ready for you well first I want to check make sure we don't have any bubbles in the coolant or anything like that so we did start it up earlier yeah and it was like a lot of white smoke oh and then it went away and cleared up okay so what are the five possibilities of failure there I think it was just right I use the nerves rub your fingers right now yeah I think man yes you don't know power off I want to see you excited I love this car hold on you haven't seen this car since it was in pieces so since there's been a few videos where the cards are put back together you weren't there for that so last we saw this car was like a wreck like yeah wreck you can't even roll it I saw the parts a part not a part of the car but but apart you saw parts oh man Mark stop it so far so good wait just stop there just stop stop stop stop stop that's good right there Ryan what do you think back together looks good A little ding here but other than that that's just and actually I forgot that you guys came back and got the dimag war Shiner Wheels they look cool yeah I just got some cheap rollers uh for the meantime yeah these wheels are so expensive they're so cool so it's rolling it's rolling and so it's got all four wheels on yeah because that's new yeah because you got to remember I haven't seen this car roll even on our racing tape right there that's the ECU back course Izzy Tim what are you breaking now this is the one from the crash and it was still okay but this tube is tube was destroyed the ones that we got from the guys that sold the suspension was this one was melted yeah with this one but this one doesn't have a hole in it it's probably hurting the flow a little bit but for now at least we got the car running just a little just a little bit it's only about 30 blocks this is a new radiator you got yeah so that's a new radiator this is crazy man like to see this car put back together it's like actually I said I wasn't gonna get excited I'm getting pretty excited does it need an alignment probably not it's pretty close so I just kind of eyeballed it this is really cool thank you so much absolutely this is amazing you guys Tim thank you for putting it all back together okay I have a question our budget was a hundred thousand the first video is at 120 that's Canadian so it's about 100 000 us we were eight thousand on suspension what did this costs 1200. is nine grand they wouldn't call me back I called that one video they didn't answer my call we're at ten thousand dollars right now basically it right out of our budget 100. so we can save the money and buy uh investment properties well no I got a 401k I figured out the Body Solution when you have ninety thousand dollars to spend it's easy to find a body because you haven't told us yet have you guys haven't because I know in the videos Dave was like I don't know what we're gonna do for the body I haven't looked into it yet I've been working on the body yeah you have look how good this guy I have all the body panels for this car and not just the back ones you buy a wrecked car nope I have something special I'm just gonna leave you with that I don't think we want to give it all away in this video come on the downside is it's gonna be over budget probably eat up more than the last 90 grand you don't need any more money for this car right we need we need a few I think what's going on Tim what do we need I mean tail lights would be nice oh yeah shoes so we need the right tail light we need a bunch of brackets we need uh we need some small parts like a plug for the ECU because that one is broken maybe a couple Grand worth of stuff and we take a tail lights up will ground more than that you hang on we look a tail lights not gonna be cheap I'm scared to look because I went in a parking lot in Newport let me get off of this let me look at this thing I didn't think I'd show up with this all done done this is cool man thank you very much I know you guys are excited comment below thank you Mike Tim Dave found all these parts for what was it eight grand eight grand that's crazy you want to call and see if they have a tail light too oh they're cheap well that one's 600 that one's 150 so I'm guessing this one's probably cracked it doesn't have any tabs but if that's a good tail light we're buying it right now you can buy three of them all right let me look at this some more make sure nothing's broken yes I will hit the Buy It Now button read the description always read the description and then yeah because when you got the radiator you were like rang brand new looks good we got it yeah so the AC condenser that was on this radiator when we got it actually it's a lot better it actually made it a lot better it's the first startup of the 720 GTR we did start it earlier the second startup of this we actually started it twice how many times we started how many times have you started it Mike Essa twice today uh you started at Damon hadn't seen this car run yet I haven't seen it run yet hey it's the first time I've seen the car start up there you go there we go all right so you've started it a bunch of times but no one's really driven it yeah I moved it from so you have driven it all right everyone what's left for me to do here because there's issues of transmission getting punched it's gonna be an issue with Mike taking over the channel here in a second so you did drive it alone I just yeah I mean I wanted to make sure that it went in gear ah we do want to make sure that the transmission is functional so it is it is first gear at least but you guys found there was an issue with the seal yes so we have to repair that at some point yes man I have not seen this dude hold on you said there was white spots there was white smoke which is cooling it didn't smell like coolant oh this is normal oil it wasn't real oil so it was over here in the shop and it was like a cloud and it dissipated really fast so I think it was just water ah so I don't know if it was just water water serious I didn't say that look at it seriously take Dave out here in a second okay we have to yank it all apart to get it well first of all thank you so much for all the hard work that you guys have put in to getting this thing back together and started and running and the ignition because I was watching the videos and I was just going oh my gosh like I thought the the whole thing where the ignition wouldn't turn on yeah I genuinely thought that was going to be like a game over and a Big Bill I'm really glad that that didn't cost us a bunch of dumb money yeah I like that as dumb money because you're just replacing something that was working before so there's no payoff I hate that when there's no payoff it's just not repair right I want to pay off like you know when you give cops money yeah yeah yeah when are you doing that all the time should we check the water one more time we should it's a good idea the suspension system isn't charged we just bled the brakes on that one caliper just go easy but seriously the car is back together I mean of course you're gonna do a burnout I want to get this car so that demon can do multiple Burns they have a surprise for him this week involved in this car so I need this car to be bullied what the hell was that water why are they doing the pressurized Tim that's crazy it's better than a ferrariable she's like this that's a steady hand man no no no no in the last video he missed almost every time so he's just getting it now now Formula Drift champ I had coordination's a little awful you take him out of the car for a couple of months no pressure no pressure nobody's watching oh shoulder push you leaned into him yeah do you guys want us to bring back our Infamous ysob merch collection comment below because we've been thinking about bringing it back because we know some of you just wanted it I want it back Dave Dave wants it back hey it's 2019 Dave all right are we good we're good yeah well this is a big moment I'm excited all right into the car we go so I'd be nervous too standing back there I think she's April let's go oh Santa seats I remember what those were like oh I'm impressed this was all the way back you drove this house long legs all right and it's not even an engine light on yeah we cleared the code so make sure you warm it up oh so surreal I miss this car put a lot of work into this car blocking gift well it still turns all the traction control off why do you need that up that off just just it drives better dude it is I'm like 20 feet away and it is hot as hell over here it's hot like I'm over here behind the truck and it's like 20 degrees hotter like heat blasting you what in the world those are some good elevens for you that was second year time for a flame show for Old Time sake all right this one's for 2022. December 13th amen you ready yep thank you what do you think I told you dude that's wild thank you so sick brought it back to life brought him back to life joking I've learned not to let it just turn off right away gotta let the Turbo cool off good to have a back what an amazing team it was so fun watching this thing shoot flames on the back of it holy crap I just got into first gear as soon as I felt it slip and it started to come up I was just right into second held it for a second got some smoke yeah oftenheimer take that for just a first drive warming things up doing a couple of pulls I'm pumped man I'm really pumped now it's just a matter of obviously finishing a few little things to really tie this all together getting that body which I am really excited to announce what we are doing but I can't do it yet that's like that's a big thing and I am waiting for some timelines as to when I can get it there was a few delays so fingers crossed it's not a body kit situation like Dave's body kit the bigger problem we have now is that man in the room right now is excited he doesn't want to drive this car down the freeway tonight and like let's go boys I got a plate it's registered it's insured I'm good to go yeah good to go good to go no we're not there yet if you notice what the plate is yeah registered to hoonigan's Tire Slayer studios in Compton come and find me coppers well David Fryer now has impulse control issues he wants to drive the car unfortunately we have a lot of things left we have a lot left there's little things there's actually one big issue which I need to get 30 on so the last time I talked about suspension we had two on there now we have one but I thought I had to go to McLaren so did you fix the suspension so basically the shock was up here this shock the one that's not bent was bolted on but the lines were not right so it's all out of the way but we couldn't get the air box and the inlet tube and all that right in there so we had to basically pop it open and we popped it open and it sprayed all over me but there and say don't take it off yourself and it's dangerous and repressurized it's called problem in the system and air lock it and Vapor Lock and hydraulic lock and jaw lock yeah but I don't know instructions locked job from what that guy said from McLaren he said these accumulators can fail and when they fail it basically goes like the suspension gets really soft bouncy so if you're in the middle of a high speed corner you could crash that would be a problem so that's one issue we still have to get those accumulators and charge the system but there's like we have a bunch of bent brackets that we hammered back into shape how big is your list of parts to get this road worthy yeah so we need a new one of these we need a new tail light we need brackets we need the suspension to go to McLaren and be repressurized and obviously recalibrated yeah and car week is in two weeks which is over two weeks so we need to get this done in the next two weeks that's just the back end you know what that looks like right don't say it they're gonna build that in two weeks they're already working they're already working on it okay how much deposit do you put down ninety thousand dollars you paid the whole thing I put a deposit down how much was this kid this is what it looks like\n"
