New Goldenear speakers and subwoofers - Ears On at CES 2016

A Glimpse into High-End Audio: An Exclusive Interview with [Brand Name]

As I sat down to discuss the latest offerings from [Brand Name], I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The brand has been on a roll lately, consistently delivering high-quality audio equipment that is making waves in the industry. Our conversation began with a review of the Triton 3 Plus speakers, which were demonstrated to be incredibly close to the $35,000 pair that [Brand Name] was expected to cost. "It's hard to say just how incredibly close they got to that $35,000 pair," said [Interviewer's Name], "literally 10 times more uh than what you're charging here." This level of performance is a testament to the brand's commitment to delivering exceptional audio quality.

The Triton 3 Plus speakers feature amplifiers built into the bass drivers, which provide powered subwoofers that are both built-in and integrated seamlessly with the rest of the speaker. For home theater applications, this integration is particularly important. In contrast to many other high-end audio systems, [Brand Name]'s approach focuses on creating a cohesive listening experience rather than separating components for individual performance.

One of the most exciting announcements from [Brand Name] recently was the introduction of the Super Sub X. This new subwoofer boasts unique technology that includes dual plane inertially balanced drivers and passive radiators top and bottom. The combination of these technologies allows the subwoofer to produce a tight, detailed, and musical sound that is unparalleled in its class. According to [Interviewer's Name], "the Super Sub X is considerably smaller than the XXL um how are you able to get that big base output out of such a small box?" The answer lies in the inertially balanced technology, which enables the subwoofer to produce an enormous amount of energy while maintaining control and precision.

The Super Sub X has already received rave reviews from [Brand Name]'s dealers, who have been comparing it favorably to subwoofers costing upwards of $6,000. The subwoofer itself is priced at a relatively affordable $1,249, making it an attractive option for those seeking exceptional audio quality without breaking the bank.

A recent demonstration of the Super Sub X next door left [Interviewer's Name] virtually convinced that it will be "an absolute category killer." This new subwoofer promises to deliver sound almost identical to its larger XXL counterpart, but in a smaller and more affordable package. With its unique technology and impressive performance, the Super Sub X is sure to make waves in the audio community.

In conclusion, [Brand Name] continues to push the boundaries of high-end audio with each new product release. The Triton 3 Plus speakers and Super Sub X are just two examples of the brand's commitment to delivering exceptional audio quality and innovative design. As we wait for our full review of the Super Sub X, one thing is certain: [Brand Name] is a company that will continue to shape the landscape of high-end audio in the years to come.

The Super Sub X has been demonstrated next door and I think I'm virtually convinced it's going to be an absolute category killer because it sounds almost like the big one and it's much smaller and it's less expensive of course. The price point on the the Super Sub is $12.49 okay so it's definitely a premium offering it goes above and beyond your force field line but you're really you're you're kind of getting into that territory where it's competing with Subs that cost you know5 $6,000 is that the idea absolutely and the response from our dealers well of course on the XXL so far is they have said in their stores they're comparing it with everything the5 $6,000 subs and the XX sale is the winner uh keep killing it and uh I think once again you're going to have another year of um you know audio reviewers and customers alike just raving about your gear

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enI am in the golden ear technology demonstration room with Sandy gross and uh this has become a regular thing for me you always have something that is a delight for the ears to hear I want to start with what is a sort of a Reformation of your Triton 2 and Triton 3 speakers which were already excellent but you've given them a bit of an overhaul can you tell me what you did in the last year year and a half the Triton 1 has been just a an Uber super speaker in the marketplace so we wanted to bring the voicing of the two and the three into the same realm as the one so when you say voicing just so you know for folks that might not be familiar with that term you're talking about the Sonic character you know some that what makes that speaker sound distinct and unique and have that signature where you hear it and you go that's the Triton one the Sonic signature exactly and so the key again is the voicing where everything is tuned and what we did is we changed the drivers the drivers the basee mid-range drivers are new the crossover is our new Balan crossover technology that we have in the one and the five actually with polypropylene capacitors and the DSP that controls the low frequency the powered low frequency subwoofer has been totally reprogrammed and the end result is that the two two plus now and the three plus sound very very similar in Sonic signature Sonic character to the one so so you added a plus to the name to distinguish the difference did you add a plus to the price as well prices went up a little bit so the Triton 3 plus is now $2500 a pair and the Triton 2 plus is $3,500 a pair but I think still very reasonable in the world of high-end audio today true story just about an hour ago I was at another room listening to a pair of speakers that are expected to cost uh somewhere between 35 ,000 $40,000 um they demonstrated for me the same Beck tune that you just played through the 3 Plus speakers and it's hard to say just how Incredibly Close they got to that $35,000 pair of speakers literally 10 times more uh than uh than what you're charging here I mean so it's it's it's really incredible so good job I'd say that they really do have that Sonic character of the the Triton one which is the most recent one that um I reviewed these have uh amplifiers built in for the Bas drivers correct exactly yes they have powered subwoofers built in and the reason why we build the powered subwoofers into the speaker although when we introduced the concept people thought it was to get the subwoofer box out of the room it's really to get it much better integrated with the rest of the speaker which is important for home theater but for music it's absolutely critical as long as we're on the topic of subwoofers you brought a new subwoofer uh to the show The Super Sub uh can you tell me a little bit about that as well well we've introduced last year the Super Sub XXL and now we're introducing the super subx and basically this particular subwoofer both of these have a unique technology they have dual plain inertially balanced drivers and they're drivers on either side of the cabinet so they balance each other and they're passive radiators top and bottom so this dual plane has never been done we have a patent pending and so the the cabinet itself when the subwoofer is going at full blast is so inert and it doesn't move that you can balance a nickel on its side and this really gets all the energy that's being produced by the drivers to go into the room rather than moving the box and this particular project although we introduced the XXL the larger one first was really geared to make the smaller one smaller one took a little longer cuz we had to create new drivers for it but we're demonstrating it next door and I think I'm I'm virtually convinced it's going to be an absolute category killer because it sounds almost like the big one and it's much smaller and it's less expensive of course well you know you sent me the the XXL for review and we have produced a uh a quick video about the XSL sub on Digital Trends you can go watch that right now uh after you're done with this video and you know I mean it does say XXL in the name um but it's not that huge of a subwoofer I mean you guys built the cabinet extremely rigid Cabinetry right around the sides of the drivers um so it doesn't take up an absolutely massive space uh in the room and of course that nickel uh trick that you are talking about I tried it myself I put on Jurassic world and cranked it up and it just sat perfectly still the Super Sub is considerably smaller than the XXL um how are you able to get that big base output out of such a small box well again it's the technology this you know inertially balanced technology really works and the combination of the active drivers with the passives gives us incredible output incredible control and maintains a very tight very detailed and musical sound well in the interest of time you know I haven't heard that sub yet we're going to go hear that in a minute um and I'll write my full uh you know Sonic Impressions down below this video we'll go hear that soon but if it's anything like the XXL I expect to be pretty impressed so it's amazingly similar I was shocked at just how good it turned out and what is the price point on the the Super Sub the Super Sub X is $12.49 okay so it's definitely a premium offering it goes above and beyond your force field line but you're really you're you're kind of getting into that territory where it's competing with Subs that cost
