Why Mustang's Sales Have Dropped!

The $500 Car Challenge: A Memorable Experience

For me, becoming part of a community centered around cars is something that I cherish deeply. It's not just about sharing knowledge and expertise, but also about forming friendships with like-minded individuals who share my passion for the subject. I've been fortunate enough to be a part of several online forums and communities where enthusiasts gather to discuss their favorite vehicles, swap tips, and learn from one another. These online spaces have become an extension of our physical communities, allowing us to connect with others who share our interests.

When it comes to exploring the world of cars, I've always been drawn to the thrill of adventure and the rush of adrenaline that comes with it. One such experience that stands out in my mind is when I decided to go skateboarding at a local skate park in Richmond, Virginia. What started as a solo endeavor quickly turned into an impromptu gathering of people who shared my enthusiasm for cars. We spent hours cruising around on our boards, sharing stories and laughter, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Fast forward to the $500 car challenge series, which I had the privilege of participating in. The experience was both exhilarating and exhausting, with moments of pure joy and others of sheer terror. From driving a doorless limo from Orlando to Miami to navigating the treacherous roads on a blindfolded ride, every moment was a new adventure waiting to happen.

The $500 car challenge series may not have achieved the success I had hoped for, but it remains one of my fondest memories as a car enthusiast. The camaraderie and shared excitement among participants made it a truly unforgettable experience. Even though the video series didn't quite take off as planned, I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of something so unique and special.

Rotary Engine: A Conversation Starter

When it comes to engines, few topics spark as much debate as the rotary engine. Love it or hate it, this innovative technology has left an indelible mark on the automotive world. As someone who finds the rotary engine fascinating, I appreciate its unique characteristics and the way it pushes the boundaries of what's possible.

The rotary engine's ability to rev up to extremely high speeds is particularly impressive, showcasing the ingenuity of Wankel's design principle. This technology has been used in various applications, from sports cars to high-performance motorcycles, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

However, I've also encountered some of the challenges associated with this type of engine. Mixing the gases at the gas station, for instance, can be a hassle that few enthusiasts would wish upon their worst enemy. Despite these complexities, I remain drawn to the rotary engine's unique charm and the thrill it brings to those who dare to ride.

Manual Transmission: A Matter of Preference

When it comes to car enthusiasts, there's often an air of reverence surrounding manual transmissions. For some, it's a badge of honor that signifies a deep understanding of mechanics and driving prowess. But for others, the ability to shift gears with ease is simply a matter of personal preference.

As someone who values the practicality of automatic transmissions in certain situations, I don't think there's anything wrong with choosing an auto over a manual. Whether it's drag racing, circuit racing, or just navigating daily traffic, the right gear can make all the difference. In fact, I believe that the hate surrounding manual transmissions stems from the assumption that you need one to be a "true" car enthusiast.

In reality, the preference for manual transmission should depend on your specific needs and goals. If you're an avid track driver or enjoy the thrill of shifting gears, then a manual is undoubtedly the way to go. But if your priorities lie elsewhere – perhaps you want consistency on the drag strip or ease of use in heavy traffic – then an automatic might be the better choice.

The Rise of Obnoxious Body Kits

When it comes to modifying cars, there's always been a fine line between taste and tackiness. In the early 2000s, body kits were all the rage, with manufacturers like Liberty Walk and Rocket Bunny creating designs that were equal parts stylish and outrageous.

While some might view these kits as nothing more than superficial additions, I believe they represented a genuine expression of personal style and individuality. In an era where cars are increasingly homogenized, it's refreshing to see designers pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Fast forward to today, and while obnoxious body kits may not be as prominent on the scene, their influence can still be seen in modern designs. Big wings, neon lights, and other aftermarket accessories have made a comeback, offering enthusiasts a chance to express themselves through their vehicles once again.

The Decline of Mustang Sales: What's Behind It?

Finally, let's turn our attention to the sales figures for the iconic Ford Mustang. With declining numbers, there are plenty of theories about what might be behind this trend. Is it the rise of electric vehicles? The increasing competition from other muscle cars? Or perhaps something more nuanced?

One thing is certain: the automotive landscape has changed significantly in recent years, with new players and technologies entering the fray. As enthusiasts, it's essential to stay informed and adapt to these changes. Whether you're a die-hard Mustang fan or simply someone who appreciates the art of car design, there's always something new to discover – and that's what makes the world of cars so endlessly fascinating.

out to a subscriber named Tyler Tyler has a condition called distonia I met him at fl2k and he was super nice and his website is called tyers hope.org if you want to support him and help him find a cure for his condition it's really cool you know they have like University of Florida and stuff in Gainesville Florida working on it so it's a really big deal so make sure to check it out all right so let's talk about our story of the week that was requested and let's talk about mustangs okay so the Mustangs have unfortunately plummeted in sales recently and I have a few theories about this I have a few theories on this but the first one is it's almost winter time and with it being a rear wheeel drive 430 horow sports car that isn't like the best market for the wintertime and snow if you know what I'm saying I think I proved that right last winter why one of my other theories is since the 2015 body style and model has already been out and everybody who wanted that has probably gotten it by now they're probably waiting for the 2018 refresh now that is the bad part about leaking information for companies that's why they camouflage their cars and everything else because messes with the sales of the previous generation but hey I'm not saying that's a bad thing I always want to see what's next last but not least let's just talk about the elephant in the room in my opinion people are scared to buy Mustangs now because of the stigma and the stigma has always been there but never at this level nowadays you are the Cars and Coffee crowd killer Mustangs are known for crashing now it's really unfortunate that there's millions of these cars but this very small small percentage of idiots yes they're idiots has caused this stigma for this part of the community in the domestic world now me being a Mustang Gunner myself as you can imagine I was getting kind of sick of the jokes and not so much that it offended me it was just like okay you're kind of beating a dead horse here pun intended that was really bad so when these Mustang memes and crashes started coming out and like being played over and over again a lot of the people in the Mustang Community were kind kind of confused because those happened a long time ago myself I was actually at the black Terminator crash at Mustang Week the most famous one and we were all just like what were you doing Mustangs have something that is a double-edged sword it's easily accessible horsepower and if you give that to somebody who's never experienced horsepower or doesn't know how to drive with that much horsepower they're going to mess up if they want to be a showoff and that's what happen happens at all these cars and coffees and when people egg people on on the side of the road it's going to happen and it's unfortunate that their sales are plummeting because I think most of us know that this is probably the biggest reason why but I'm really looking forward to whatever the 2018 does and I really want to see whatever the Mach 1/ GT500 is I am praying it's like a twin turbo Voodoo motor or something ridiculous cuz that would be awesome all right without further Ado let's get to the Q&A have you ever had any thought H he met thought on decorating your office so my house is a rental and I'm not allowed to like paint or anything like that and I have stuff like that's really personal over there and stuff like that but this is just like the best place to put my camera and I know it's kind of bland behind me and I plan on doing more stuff just bear with me and I just have to find stuff that you know I can do with also renting the house so got to figure that out what is the best subscriber experience you've had and have you ever become good friends with a subscriber I've actually become great friends with a ton of subscribers I've met especially here in Atlanta and also in Richmond it just becomes a community and it becomes your friendship because you're bonded by cars and you're bonded by this hobby I just become friends with people who are cool and respectful and that's all it takes for me but in Richmond when I used to live there I wanted to go skateboarding at a skate park but there was only pretty much one that still existed all the rest of them had closed so I went there kind of incognito not thinking anybody would recognize me and two people there recognized me and we ended up making a video and we played skate together and it was a really fun time would you ever do another $500 car challenge again okay so the $500 car challenge videos were one of my best memories I've ever done it was a crazy experience it was pretty miserable at times but it's still an awesome memory driving a doorless limo from Orlando to Miami was one of the sketchiest things I've ever done driving blindfolded on a racetrack you know silly things jumping the Cadillac it was so much fun and even though the video series flopped which is really unfortunate I still had a fantastic memory so just for that reason maybe later down the road I would do it again but video wise I can't really expect it to do well now that I've seen that it doesn't so I pretty much those for myself and also for the experience Angel asked how come you never done an SRT4 review this is not a joke it's because all of them have broken on me and it's not during the review or after the review it's always been before the review and I've tried to do modified ones that have really showed the potential of the car because that's what I wanted to prove if that makes sense but unfortunately they always keep breaking on me so it's not that I didn't want to it's just I haven't been able to I did have an opportunity back in Virginia who might be watching he's a good friend of mine but I moved before we were able to do it but that's the only reason why nothing personal against the car opinions on the rotary engine like it hate it love it don't even care about it I find the rotary engine to be neat I think it's really cool it's an interesting concept and I think the wankle principle is a awesome idea I think their ability to rev to the sky is really intriguing and they're a ton of fun to drive would I own one it's a high maintenance engine the FBR RX7 that I reviewed yes I have reviewed a rotary hardly anybody's seen it but I have that was a pretty high maintenance engine and you have to mix the gases transmission I do think that there is a hate not having a manual transmission the manual transmission is something that is kind of a write up passage for a car guy and it's always good to know how to drive stick but do I think that you have to have it not really because I think it all depends on your environment where you live what's your purpose drag racing drifting circuit racing I don't know what you're trying to do it could be a daily driver Drag Racing for example if you just wanted consistent times the way to go is auto nothing is more frustrating on a drag strip than missing a gear by accident not cuz you're a bad driver just because it happens overall I think the hate should not be there and it should just be preference on what your goal is can we see that shoes from Texas are dumb yes Patrick we can Jake asked what modifications were cool in the early 2000s not cool in the later years but now coming back that's a really good question I think that obnoxious body lines are knows anymore all right guys I'm going to close out the show by asking what do you guys think of the Mustang sales drop what do you think caused it let me know in the comment section below make sure
