Unboxing My Brand New Google Glass Explorer Edition

I'm really excited to bring you this video, as it's going to be an unboxing of my brand new Google Glass Explorer Edition that I just got now. This is I believe the V2 Hardware which Google has suggested that it may be the final retail Hardware if not very close to it, so we're going to have to check it out right now.

So, this is the box that came in and then this is a pair of sunglasses that came separately and I also ordered an extra charger cable. So, we're going to look at all three of these. Alright, so I've got my scissors, I'm going to be opening these for the very first time, so you're going to be able to experience this with me. Let's start with the actual Google Glass itself here we have the box open it up, it looks like there's some sort of film and this is just awesome. This is the first time I've actually seen a pair of Google Glass in person.

Let's try these on now, these are not calibrated, I'm sure you have to adjust them a little bit but this is quite interesting. It's completely translucent, so it's not like opaque at all, it's not going to be uh obscuring your vision at all, it really looks completely clear. This by the way, is the Shale color. There are I think five that were available but two were sold out, the white and black were sold out, the other two that I didn't get was blue or orange I think they were called sky and tangerine and I wanted a pretty neutral color so I got this Shale color right here as you can see it's pretty much like a gray brown pretty neutral and I think it looks great.

Next, let's take a look at what's underneath here we have this pouch. It looks like this pouch has been crafted using Japanese microfiber made from recycled materials how thoughtful and we have this insert this very hard insert with which comes with the actual little earbud that you can plug in it's very short and you plug this into the bottom here goes in here and you can listen to stuff I guess through that. This is a really large case because I guess the glass does not fold up it doesn't fold so you have to put the whole thing in this case and inside we have the AC charger, the USB cable that goes into the charger and then this little I don't know what this is actually we're going to find out looks like little pads or something um I'm not sure what these are total comfort right on the nose oh these are for your nose piece so in CA these are to replace these I guess right here if you can see them them so that's pretty cool they come with a replacement of those and there's just little information cards in here so we are done with this stuff.

Let's take a look at the boxes that came with it. This will be the sunglasses that you can attach if I can open that oh slides out so I have to get both sides all right here we go they come surrounded by this card card stock and in a pouch also and they slide out like this let me get it from the side so I don't get a smudge all over it now I'm going to have to read the directions how to actually attach this but I'm assuming it goes like that so you can kind of see it looks like that.

Now, let's check out what the extra cable looks like. This might not be as interesting as the rest of the stuff but you know what it's a Bo and this is an unboxing video so we're going to open this as well these scissors are pretty dull so bear with me here and it looks pretty much the same as before.

I'm actually going to get an Android phone so I can use all the features because right now Google Glass doesn't really play that well with iOS it's missing a couple key features like turn-by-turn navigation and SMS on iPhone so I'm going to get an Android so I can get the full experience.
