hey guys I'm Tom the tech chap and this is the ESL PC the official UK eSports league have teamed up with Intel to create a gaming PC designed to play them as popular eSports titles and of course any other game you want to play I'm still pretty addicted to pub G don't forget to click that like and subscribe button and tap the notification bell so you don't miss out on any of my videos I think it's just the right amount of gamer II without going over the top the angular front panel dual RGB fans and tempered glass I'd give it a sleek and modern look plus it has a mesh front grille for better airflow flanking the glowing power button are two USB 3 ports and separate headphone and mic jacks it's pretty compact as well and not too heavy for a full desktop PC so it would actually be pretty easy to take this thing to a tournament
inside this thing has some solid specs I open up the glass panel and you'll find an Intel Core i7 8700 K which is overclocked to 4.5 gigahertz and NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card and 16 gigs of RAM they've been pretty smart with the storage as well you gay - 56 gigabyte Intel m2 nvme SSD as your main boot drive as well as a 2 terabyte hard disk for all your videos and presumably your massive gaming library I also really like how it comes with a Gigabit LAN and Wi-Fi card built in so you don't you to carry around a separate USB Wi-Fi adapter the 8700 K is a great processor with 6 cores and 12 threads so it's really good for multitasking which is something gamers especially eSports gamers really need if they capturing gameplay or streaming
I'm paired with a gtx 1070 this setup is ideal for 1080p and 1440p gaming and depending on what you're playing you'll get high enough frame rates to take advantage of high refresh rate monitors which makes everything silky smooth and is a must-have for pro gamers but let's talk performance how fast is this thing well I played a bunch of games at 2560 by 1440 with ultra settings in overwatch I measured an average frame rate of 71 FPS Pub G came in at 86 FPS 137 for four-night and a whopping 210 frames per second in C lets go so even at quad-hd we're getting way above 60fps so I definitely pair this with a high refresh rate monitor drop it down to 1080p and you're getting triple digit frame rates in every game not too shabby now obviously everyone's talking about the new r-tx cards the 2083 atti and well they're obviously amazing the gtx 1070 is still a great card and while you can always upgrade this in the future right now putting something like that in here would seriously increase the price and I just don't think you need it for most eSports titles right now
I really can't fault the spec of this PC Intel the ESL PC specialists have really thought about what gamers actually need included a compact fast and great looking PC without going over the top or making it ridiculously expensive so this ESL PC will be on sale exclusively at Curry's PC world here in the UK and for the latest pricing and availability check out the links in the description below and a big thanks to Intel who are not only helping to power eSports as the global technical partner of the ESL but once again they've teamed up with me to give you guys the chance to win a brand new Intel Core i7 8700 K the same processor that's in this machine if you'd like to win just make sure you subscribe and follow me on Twitter and Instagram if you have them at the tech chap and leave a comment below saying what game you're playing in the moment and also what you make of this ESL PC and a winner will be randomly selected in the next couple of weeks thank you so much for watching guys I'll catch you next time right here on the tech chure
