One is priced at a price of about 6800 rupees in the retail market, you can actually get it for a little less but right now due to less availability of stock it's running a little high on price. As you can see this is a dual SIM device.

Let's quickly pop it out of the box and see what all is inside the first thing inside is the Nokia Asha 503, go to put it to the side for the timing, you get the basic documentation on the inside, it's a basic booklet. You get a traditional Nokia style charger along with a micro USB port, and you get a set of earphones.

Irrespective of the color of the device that you purchase, you will always get a radio phone inside the box next up we have the battery, it's a 1200 milliamp hour battery, it's the BL for you. Let's quickly get rid of all the box contents and take a quick look at the device itself.

Now over at the front of the device you have a three inch display, it's a standard Nokia display and it's a 320 by 240 pixel display on the right side you have the power button and the volume rockers. You can also see the back cover is sort of glass coated so it gives it that glass coating sort of feel there's nothing on the left side and on the top is the micro USB charging data syncing port along with the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack in the front top you have the Nokia logo and on the bottom over here you have the back button which is a standard Nokia button.

On the bottom is the microphone which will be used for voice calls and on the back over here is the button that helps you remove the back panel also on the top is the five megapixel camera. We struggled quite a bit to get rid of the back cover but it finally came off inside, you can see you have two SIM card slots and a micro SD card slot.

The device comes pre-loaded with a 4 gigabyte micro SD card inside the phone itself. Let's quickly pop in the battery and take a look at what the OS looks like so you get a bunch of languages to choose from so you have a lot of native languages as well, so you get Hindi or do Marathi all those languages are pre-loaded onto the device and you can choose whatever language you prefer.

The UI is pretty simplistic, you have the today screen on one side and then you have all your applications listed on one side. You can pull down a quick notification panel from the top which also has your quick services toggles, a whole list of applications are pre-loaded on the device including a bunch of games some social networking applications and the most important app for a lot of people WhatsApp Facebook Twitter Line Messenger is also pre-loaded.

The main grammar on the device is a 5 megapixel camera and out of the box it seems like a pretty interesting camera, you get a quick option to toggle between shooting modes, you can swipe left to shoot pictures and swipe right to shoot video. The keyboard is also slightly easier to use than the Nokia Asha 502 as its well spaced and easily receptive to the finger input.

Apart from the Nokia music application which it allows you to listen to a lot of music, you also have something called the Music Store which allows you to download latest releases directly from their online store. The new Nokia Xpress browser is also pretty responsive and it loads up really fast and in full mode unlike previous versions so it should be able to open up and load up any website which has a lot of images as well.

Despite the low resolution on the display, the video quality is pretty good thanks to the nice brightness and great viewing angles on the screen of the Nokia Asha 503.
