**Hands-On Review: UAG Monarch Series Case**

As I picked up the UAG Monarch Series case, I was immediately drawn to its sleek design and rugged texture. The case is designed for everyday use, perfect for those who want protection without the bulk. The first thing that caught my attention was the unique belt-style holster clip that allows you to rock your phone to the side in a nostalgic old-school style.

The clip is designed to prevent the phone from spinning upside down when you sit down and your love handles hit you. This clever design ensures that the phone stays in place, no matter which position you lock into. The case itself has some ulac branding on the clip and features little padding for added protection. A soft felt material covers the inside of the case, adding an extra layer of comfort to the phone.

One of the standout features of this case is its textured material on the side, providing a nice grip when holding the phone. The power button is easily accessible, as well as cutouts for the headphone jack and micro USB charging port. The speaker is also protected, along with the SPen cutout on the back for camera access and the flash cutout on the top for mic access. All these details come together to create a comprehensive case that's designed with functionality in mind.

On the back of the case, I noticed some company branding and screw-like designs (not actual screws) that give it a rugged, tough look. The third part of the case is designed to cover the corners of your phone, providing added protection when you drop it or place it face down. When I dropped the case in, I was pleased to see how easily it fit into place without any hiccups.

The installation process was surprisingly easy, taking only a few seconds to get the case on and off. The flaps cover the headphone jack, micro USB port, and SPen cutout, ensuring that you can access all your ports and features without any issues. When I tried to shake the phone back and forth, it remained securely in place, with no signs of it falling out.

One feature that impressed me was the kickstand function, which allows you to prop up your phone for hands-free viewing. The case stays firmly in place when the phone is upright, providing a convenient way to watch videos or browse the web without having to adjust anything.

holster first now this is one of those holsters that you could lock into place and use it as um you can lock this into place I'm pretty sure let's try lock this into place and use this as a kickstand okay so that's a nice little touch right there and this is one of those hard hard to turn belt uh belt holster Clips so this way if you like rocking your phone to the side old school style this way when you sit down and the love handles hit it it's not going to spin the phone upside down all right so this is going to stay in place whatever position you locking into got some ulac branding on the clip little padding design right there now this has a soft felt kind of material on the inside let's do a smell test smells very felty felsh you got some UL like Brandon on the bottom all right simple now here's the case itself nice nice hard case okay you have all this textured material on the side for a nice grip here's your power button on one side okay now these are cutouts right here for the for the holster oh this is nice too now you got these flaps right here this will cover your headphone jack your micro USB charging port the speaker out and you always need access to the Spen cut on
