How to Customize Different Aspects of the Music App in iOS 7 using Jailbreak Tweak "Music App Mods"
Hey guys, D from the unlock.com, and today we have a jailbreak tweak for you. This one is going to show you how to customize different aspects of the music app in iOS 7. Hi this is Tony for the unlock.com here to show you how to install and use this tweak.
To do this tweak, you'll need to be jailbroken if you haven't already done that. Click the link below and complete the procedure then return to this video for The Tweak. Okay so now that we made sure that your phone is jailbroken, we're going to swipe over to Cydia and once that loads up, we're going to search for The Tweak by tapping the bottom right for search and type in the name of the tweak which is music app mods.
Just tap that when it shows up. This is an app that you're going to have to purchase for $9 so tap purchase on the top right and follow and follow your usual steps for uh paid tweak. All right so now that you've paid for the tweak we're going to go and tap close on the top right here which brings you back to the music app mods page.
At this point, we're going to tap install where purchase used to be and then confirm on the top right and let it install and download on your phone once that's done tap restart springboard and wait for your phone to restart. Okay so now that you've restarted your phone I'm actually going to go into the music app before I go into the configurations just to give you a sense of what it looks like before I apply any customizations.
So as you can see, uh the artist artwork is taking up a lot of space creating a lot of white space here and on my iPhone 4, which is 3 and a half inch screen, I'm only seeing 3 albums or artists excuse me at a time. Um same thing for songs as well, you can only see a few uh songs at a time but um so what I'm going to try and do using the music app mods is make a little bit more space or take away some of the space here actually so I can see some more uh of the uh some more artists at one time on my screen.
So I'm going to click the home button and go over to the settings and I'm going to scroll all the way down till you find music app mods and here you see the whole list of different options you can do to customize your m music app excuse me. So we're going to go into if I wanted to uh perhaps just thin out the artist cells, I'll do one little option there, I'm going to thin out the artist cells as I wanted to do earlier.
Tap the home button and then for the uh settings to apply you're going to have to go into your app switcher and close the music app and then restart it by opening it again. Then after a while, you should see the artist cells thinning out a little bit. Just like that there you go now I see six artists on my iPhone 4 screen and uh really just improving the way I can search for music basically so there are various other options play around with them and uh enjoy.
And there you have it! With this jailbreak tweak, you can customize the music app in iOS 7 to your liking.
