Xbox Series X Setup & Unboxing - First Xbox Since 360!

The Xbox Series X Controller Unboxing and First Impressions

As I opened the box containing my new Xbox Series X controller, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and skepticism. Would this controller truly live up to the hype surrounding it? The Xbox team has been working on this design for quite some time, and I was eager to see if their efforts would pay off.

Upon first glance, the controller's sleek design is undeniable. The ergonomic shape fits comfortably in my hand, and the attention to detail is impressive. However, one aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the lack of a headset and microphone in the controller. Fortunately, my friends over at Concierge sent me an Xbox HS 75 XB headset, which is compatible with both the Xbox One and Series X.

As I began setting up my controller, I noticed that the Xbox didn't include any kind of USB-C to USB-A adapter, so I had to purchase one separately. Additionally, the controller's battery life was touted as being significantly longer than those of its competitors, but I wasn't convinced. In fact, I've heard from many people who are not fans of batteries at all.

As I powered on my Xbox Series X console, I was presented with a welcome screen that guided me through the setup process. The app was easy to navigate, and the process of setting up my controller was seamless. However, I did notice that there wasn't a clean and tidy way to arrange the cables in the setup process.

One feature that caught my attention during the setup process was the ability to connect your console to Wi-Fi directly from your phone. This is definitely a convenient feature, especially for those who are new to Xbox or prefer to set up their console quickly. However, I do wish that the Xbox app offered more customization options, as I found the default settings to be a bit lacking.

As I booted up my controller and began setting it up with the Xbox app, I was greeted by a prompt to download the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. While this may seem like an added expense, it's worth noting that the Game Pass offers access to a vast library of games for a fraction of the cost of purchasing them individually.

After signing in and completing the setup process, I was presented with the TV settings menu. To my surprise, the Xbox was able to automatically detect the optimal settings for my TV, including 4K resolution. However, I did notice that there wasn't an option for 4K at 120 frames per second or 120 hertz.

Finally, after completing the setup process and downloading a few games, I found myself staring at the Xbox Series X dashboard. While it was a bit cluttered, I was pleased to see that the Xbox had made significant strides in terms of accessibility and user experience.

The Xbox Series X controller is certainly an impressive piece of hardware, with its sleek design and attention to detail being notable features. However, there are still some areas where the Xbox could improve, such as offering more customization options and addressing issues related to connectivity and battery life. Nevertheless, I am excited to continue using my new controller and exploring all that it has to offer.

ps5 dual sense controller you guys like you guys gotta understand we've been looking at the design of the xbox series x you know from from its reveal last year to like the another presentation the halo implement it's just so much information and like when you get it for the first time it's like that excitement level builds up now i noticed the xbox didn't include no kind of headset and there's no microphone in the controller my good friends over at concierge sent me over the hs 75 xb it's compatible with the xbox one and the series x cos here i'll throw a link in the description down below these consoles are tall i don't even think the ps5 will fit in the frame now i don't have the cleanest setup in the world right now but yeah but yeah that's my setup and it's right next to my computer so i can always stream games and live stream whatever starting next generation gaming now oh there goes this is history now right when you boot up your xbox you're going to be presented with this to download the xbox app now i do have it installed here and it's very easy you just tap on setup console i'm sorry for the awkward view and then there's going to be a code so we're going to enter in that code right there and then we let the games begin and that's one of the things about these new consoles it's going to be so easy to set up so you don't really have to type in your email then your password everything is pretty much done through the app so and then we're just going to connect it to wi-fi and then we're going to join the wi-fi so you don't even have to enter in your wi-fi password anymore it's going to take the wi-fi from your phone and it's going to connect it to your xbox so you don't have to get out the wi-fi passcode sheets or anything like that by time a screen record it is connected so that's it you tap on next and then you can do your language as you guys can see your console is online it is simple as that and then it's going to let me know that needs an internet connection now i'm sure you could do all of this on the console itself but realistically it's so much easier to do it on your phone and of course there's a day one patch so this update could take a while depending on your internet connection now what's interesting while this is updating you can continue to set up process right there on your phone using the xbox app so you can have a power mode so we have energy saving so lowest power is consumption environmental friendlier and i have instant on so of course i'm going with instant on fastest startup time play and install games and manage consoles from your yeah so i'm going with that so we're gonna tap on next and then we have sign in so we have an x4 passcode key we really don't even need no barriers though i'm not i'm not really about that life and we have keep my games updated that's super important no need to do updates every second and then we have turn on remote features why not let's turn that on and then you just sign into xbox live so yeah once this update is completed we're gonna be pop into the dashboard and update successfully completed so all i got to do is power on my xbox series x controller logo lights up and then we just press a and we are going to update our controller i guess controller successfully updated all right so of course it's recommending me to um get the xbox game pass all right so i'm gonna get this there's only a dollar and that's how xbox gets you man this is a dollar and then let's say they sell like a million consoles that's a million dollars like because if you get in this you got to get game pass all right officially subscribe to xbox game pass ultimate and now here we are the best tv settings so the xbox is automatically going to detect what's the best settings for this tv and we're going to keep it at 4k now unfortunately this isn't a 4k 120 frames per second tv or 120 hertz but yeah finally to the dashboard a lot of loops though and everything but it's worth it
