Building The PERFECT Streaming Setup For $250

**Full-Size Write Game Scene Save and Close**

Now we can reposition it and we can also see it on the phone now. We should have taken a different image, but I'm going to press the button and boom! The scene changes. Obviously, this is a very Android-like do-it-yourself application, and you'll need to make sure that the buttons look pretty yourself, but there are a lot of options here.

You also have Twitch Integrations for example, as you can see a button to create a clip, play an ad, clear the chat. This is an amazing way to have stream control but do it completely for free. Now next I'm going to install the webcam on the monitor; it's the Razer Kaijo and it's an amazing webcam. I'm really excited to show this.

It also feels very premium like this stand here usually these are very flimsy stands that are like bouncing around wobbling around on your monitor but this is very thick, it's pretty heavy, it's very sturdy and it feels like a quality webcam. It feels more expensive than $50 and I'm really curious now because I want to test both lighting options.

Now before we test this webcam with the lights, I want to test it with my lights here. Please don't forget that when attaching any webcam you should always make sure that it's running at the correct resolution so I'm going to set this to 1080P and it's much bigger in the preview now so it wasn't set to the right resolution before okay.

I'm going to pick up the webcam for a second, so as you can see this is a very crisp webcam now. There are very premium lights aimed at me but I just wanted to show you what the potential is of this webcam and also how important good lighting is.

So I'm going to put it right here; this is going to be the test setup and I'm going to turn off one light, turn off the other one, and I'm going to turn off the RGB behind me as well because it's not a fair comparison. So it should all be turning off now. Alright everything is turned off now besides the ring light of the webcam and then the LED panel.

We will have to change the exposure manually okay. Now this works but I wanted to show you this if you only have one pretty weak light aimed at you, then the whole room will be very dark, and then you will be very bright, and if you come too close there will be bright spots on your skin especially if I turn on this ring light even if I'm further away.

I think this is fine but usually with cheaper webcams it's better to just turn on your room lights and then have an LED panel for example and the ring light also aimed at you. We can even turn off the ring lights, and you can then play around with the wide balance to look for something that you like.

But I think this might be a better option compared to turning off all your lights so I'm now going to try the other two lights here these are much cheaper; I'm going to aim them towards me turn this on so I'm going to set this to the maximum as well. I'm then going to turn off this light.

I think we can agree that I look way more lit up, and I played around a bit with the settings, and I am a bit darker now but I do look more cinematic. And I think that this is a much better setup, look at me; I'm very pleased with this result so it's the two budget lights aimed at me.

I really like this look, I left my room lights, I will quickly turn them off, and as you can see I'm kind of in the dark now. This could work if you want this look but I like the previous one better, and in case you want to see everything together this is the pseudo Tech mic together with the webcam with the lights.

We have our touch portal to control the stream; we have a second monitor. I will link all of these products in the description. I had so much fun building the setup if you want to see more content like this subscribe to the channel. I will build setups for other budgets follow us on Instagram for behind-the-scenes.

Maybe you can check out this video because it's a recommended for you, thank you so much for watching and I will see you in one of my next videos have a nice day.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: entoday I will spend $250 to turn this basic PC setup into the best possible streaming setup so I want to check the fine emply game this one is a bestseller microphone and it does come in a kit apparently there's also a deal currently so we could definitely take this one but I used to be a huge fan of a certain microphone and I think we could check it out again in this video so the mic was a pseudo st800 and as you can see it also has great reviews however look under this one here overall pick this one here is the followup microphone they don't show it in the title but they do show it in the promo video st900 I want to test this microphone cuz I think a lot of you are going to love it now finding video lights is always a bit hard because usually LED panels are very expensive this one for example the D50 is a great light I have this in the stereo but it's over $100 and with that I mean for one light because this is 230 for two now this here is an LED panel from Rino and this is a pretty great one there's a few sizes for example here this one is from Rino look at the back here and then look right here this is from newer it's pretty much the same style it's just that this here is the smaller version this one is the bigger now the thing is you can also find a CIT like this of two lights for around $35 here you have similar ones for 30 32 so what I'm going to do is I'm going to test both I'm going to test the $60 great LED panel against the $30 kit because having two lights on you might be better even if they're cheaper so we're going to choose this one here as the main light but we will test the other ones I'm going to add this to the card and that brings us at $120 already all right now before we go on I have a completely free and very useful tool as the sponsor of this video stop wasting your time searching your streams and videos for the best moments and highlights go viral faster with framed drop. framedrop is a freeo use tool that leverages AI to automatically detect your best clips and highlights it will handle everything from gaming content to talking content and it's incredibly fast frame drop is also very easy to use just enter the URL of your video and boom you get a bunch of Highly engaging Clips you can also easily edit the length and layout of the clips and add subtitles with a click of a button after doing this you can either download your Clips or immediately share them to all your socials now in case you missed it frame drop is completely free to use so click the link in my description and you can start making your own Clips today thanks to Fram drop. a for sponsoring this video now what we need next is a second monitor when you're streaming your main monitor will be occupied by your game or by a video that you're reac in to and it is so much easier to have a second monitor with your chat or with controls to manage your stream there are things you want to do on your second monitor that your stream shouldn't see now a great brand for cheap monitors is scepter this one here is by far the best selling one on Amazon it is $104 you can also find cheaper options for example this one apparently costs less the current discount is bigger which is why it's cheaper but the thing with second monitors is that you can easily buy them secondhand they don't need to do much they just need to display whatever is on the screen and as long as long as you're able to read it and manage your stream that way you're fine so for that purpose I would always buy them secondhand so I'm going to count $50 in the budget for a secondhand monitor you can easily find a good monitor for that price and if you don't want to buy secondhand you can always buy a scepter 24in one now the next thing is a headset and I'm not really sure about this some things I'm very certain about for example the webcam I'm really excited to show you a great webcam it's going to be perfect for this budget but the headset there's so many options and also in my previous video I bought a 1 $5 and the $3.5 headset and I was extremely surprised with the quality they were from AliExpress and they absolutely weren't bad like if I was building a cheap cheap setup I could absolutely use one of those headset you can hear the game you can hear music there is some base it's absolutely usable so a headset just comes down to what you want to spend on it I think I'm going to go for the hyperx cloud not this one that's too expensive all right it's the Stinger but it's cheaper than this one there might be a renewed version okay here it is $26 course I did buy this in the past as you can see it has great reviews and I think this is a great option for a budget but decent headset by the way while building the setup I will definitely test the microphone so you can hear how that sounds now before we check out the webcam I wanted to look at the macro device H yeah so most of these devices are simply just keys and buying that is not really worth it because you can just bind some keys on your keyboard to switch your scenes in OBS for example the thing I'm looking for is a macro device that will allow you to for example change twitch settings or any other platform but for example setting your chat to subscriber only mode or skipping a specific alert or muting it that kind of stuff needs Integrations which a stream deck definitely has but the cheapest one you can get is six Keys here that's $76 you could bind this key to go to the next page and then this to the previous so then you can have these four buttons as actual action buttons and like that you can definitely use this to control your whole stream but $76 is still too much so what we're going to be checking out while building this setup is touch portal I'm not going to go in depth on this but I will install it on my my phone it's a free software with paid options and we will check out the basics now for the webcam I was very sure about this we're going to go with a razor kaijo make sure if you look for this yourself that you don't buy the wrong one because a lot of Brands copy this look if you want to be sure check the links in my description I willink to all the products now this here is the Razer kaijo Pro it's a bit more expensive and this has HDR and 60fps if you're really looking for that this webcam is amazing but if you don't need that then this here the Razer kaijo of $50 is an amazing 1080p 30fps webcam I will install it in the setup and you won't be disappointed so I have all the products right here including the monitor what we're going to start with is the microphone I'm actually very excited to test this out because this as I said before is the sudotech st900 and it's predecessor the sd800 is kind of a controversial mic it does have a huge amount of clicks by the community and there are lots of positive comments about this microphone from the microphone tests I've been doing however the opinion of some people was that you could hear here it was a cheap mic because it sounded pretty thin and so that's why I want to test this one by the way this feels very heavy this is a metal shock mount I'm going to move this screen for a second then we're going to open this clamp so we can shove it on the desk and then easily tighten it on the bottom and besides USB cable the microphone also comes with this pop filter and then this one now I do not like these types of Pop filters because they are huge and look at this is very ugly on Stream So I do prefer this one that they give you it's like a little head for the mic it seems like the USB cable is a very l one this is going to be very useful since we have a microphone arm and we need to Route it through okay now even though it's a long cable it's not long enough to go from the other side of the desk all the way to here now the last thing in the box is cable strips and that is perfect because this way you can rot this cable all the way across the arm now I want to test how this microphone sounds so I'm going to use the headset that we got this is if I remember correctly the hyperx cloud Stinger it was $27 as a renewed version and the microphone should be working now instead of listening to this on the PC I can plug the headset in the headphone jack of the microphone and then this way I can live monitor the microphone without delay this definitely sounds like a studio microphone I remember this from the previous one as you can see on the back of the box of the microphone the low end has been boosted significantly than the highend a bit but you can absolutely hear this boosting of the low end and as you will see if I speak around the microphone it only picks up from the front I am very quiet now and if I move to the front here now it perfectly picks up my voice again so I do you love this highly processed sounds or you will think it sounds cheap that will be a personal preference but I definitely wanted to check out this microphone all right now I forgot to talk about this headset and test the microphone so I'm going to do both at the same time I've been listening to this I'm pretty impressed with the microphone especially for the price also from now on my editor will apply a few effects to this you can do this in real time in OBS and yeah I will talk a bit more quiet if you're chill on stream or if you say like oh no that will probably Peak you can maybe move it further oh no but both will probably be distorted this is a a really good budget headset in general sound and mic so the lighting is something I was very curious for because we're going to test two different things this here is kind of a budget LED panel not budget in the sense that it's cheap but budget because usually LED panels are very expensive and this is an LED panel that's a bit smaller than those but also much cheaper it does come with a power adapter you can just plug it in somewhere apparently here on the side so let's plug it in there's also a screen and if you change the color temperature or the brightness you can see that changing right there now I have to be honest this isn't super bright but I just realize that I hadn't plugged it in this is battery powered you can charge it however I do hope that when we finally plug it in it will be brighter because this won't light my face much I'm going to plug it in here on the bottom of the desk and it didn't change this is 100% brightness I really curious for the test with the webcam if you remember we got the Razer Kio and this webcam is very good in low light so maybe it doesn't matter that the LED panel isn't very bright we will have to test that but now we need to add this arm to the desk I'm not sure if I talked about this while buying everything I might have forgotten but if you buy this led panel you're going to have to figure out some way to attach it to the desk and this here is one of the ways you can lower it a bit just above the Monitor and I'm really curious to test this but honestly now that I see how weak this led panel is which might be fine but I don't know I definitely want to compare these other lights to this led panel so you get two of these for a lower price and they do include the stand I just thought that these type of Lights would be of a lower quality but to be fair there's a lot of LEDs we do have a diffuser and since we have two of them which you can aim perfectly we will have the advantage of having one light from this side and then one light from the other side which means that both sides of our face will be lit you can even choose to use one of them to add a color to your background just take out the diffuser because this weakens the light that doesn't matter we just need the light to be as bright as possible so you can take it out at this blue one and then just aim this at your background I will even show it you can plug it into the PC with a USB the cable does have a switch so we can turn it on and I turned off one of the lights in the set because there's a lot of light in the set here that won't be the same in your room and even now you can definitely see that this Lights of the background even if you put it on a shelf just to have some light in the back that's very useful oh that's very useful for in a streaming setup because it that's Entertainment to the stream to your image but for testing the webcam we're going to add the diffuser and this light is pretty much as bright as this one we have two of them so I'm really looking forward to that but we have some other stuff to install basically the next two things we're going to add are things that will make managing your stream easier one of them is having an extra monitor that will display a bunch of stuff next to you and then the other one is using your phone as a macro device with an app that I'm going to test it's called touch portal and it's completely free quick 5sec Interruption if you want to support the channel completely for free there is an Amazon affiliate Link in the description if you click it and then add it to your bookmarks then when buying anything through that link you will greatly support the channel so thank you if you do that so the screen does come with a screwdriver and to tach the stand you just push it on and then there are two screws included to attach the stand to the monitor let's plug in the Monitor and there's even an HDMI included in the box so I'm going to plug that in so since with a limited budget it's pretty hard to include things like a stream deck for example that's way too expensive but if you want to stream seriously you do need some extra control one of them is an extra screen to read your chat or to move OBS to that screen and then manage everything right there and then another thing that's a huge help is having something on your desk to control your stream while you're in game for example if you're in game and then suddenly you want to control twitch for example you want to put your chat and subscriber only mode or you want to clear your chat or you want to switch your scene now switching your scene would be possible in OBS with a shortcut on the keyboard but twitch integration for example or another platform that's a bit harder and you can see it already on the screen I installed touch portal and and so instead of a fresh start I'm going to choose OBS because I want to see which presets they're going to give okay let's click on start welcome let's see which profiles we get oh my God this intro is so annoying okay so apparently this is empty here we have no presets and on the phone we need to connect to touch portal I'm going to go through the setup wizard okay it says I'm connected now and I see some things moving maybe if I turn my phone this will turn as well or we might need to click this default landscape now let's try one of the actions I'm not going to do much but for example here obs yes set scene we will drag this to the right and then we can choose which scene let's say the game scene and I think that if I do save and close now that it will be here but I don't see anything we might have to set up this button okay let's choose this crappy icon make it full size write game scene save and close and here we go the button is here now we can reposition it and we can also see it on the phone now we should have taken a different image but I'm going to press the button and boom the scene changes now obviously this is a very Android like do it yourself application and you'll need to make sure that the buttons look pretty yourself but there are a lot of options here you also have twitch Integrations for example as you can see a button to create a clip play an ad clear the chat this is an amazing way to have stream control but do it completely for free now next I'm going to install the webcam on the monitor it's the Razer kaijo and it's an amazing webcam I'm really excited to show this it also feels very premium like this stand here usually these are very flimsy stands that are like bouncing around wobbling around on your monitor but this is very thick it's pretty heavy it's very sturdy and it feels like a quality webcam it feels more expensive than $50 and I'm really curious now because I want to test both lighting options now before we test this webcam with the lights I want to test it with my lights here please don't forget that when attaching any webcam you should always make sure that it's running at the correct resolution so I'm going to set this to 1080P and it's much bigger in the preview now so it wasn't set to the right resolution before okay I'm going to pick up the webcam for a second so as you can see this is a very crisp webcam now there are very a USB the cable does have a switch so we can turn it on and I turned off one of the lights in the set because there's a lot of light in the set here that won't be the same in your room and even now you can definitely see that this Lights of the background even if you put it on a shelf just to have some light in the back that's very useful oh that's very useful for in a streaming setup because it that's Entertainment to the stream to your image but for testing the webcam we're going to add the diffuser and this light is pretty much as bright as this one we have two of them so I'm really looking forward to that but we have some other stuff to install basically the next two things we're going to add are things that will make managing your stream easier one of them is having an extra monitor that will display a bunch of stuff next to you and then the other one is using your phone as a macro device with an app that I'm going to test it's called touch portal and it's completely free quick 5sec Interruption if you want to support the channel completely for free there is an Amazon affiliate Link in the description if you click it and then add it to your bookmarks then when buying anything through that link you will greatly support the channel so thank you if you do that so the screen does come with a screwdriver and to tach the stand you just push it on and then there are two screws included to attach the stand to the monitor let's plug in the Monitor and there's even an HDMI included in the box so I'm going to plug that in so since with a limited budget it's pretty hard to include things like a stream deck for example that's way too expensive but if you want to stream seriously you do need some extra control one of them is an extra screen to read your chat or to move OBS to that screen and then manage everything right there and then another thing that's a huge help is having something on your desk to control your stream while you're in game for example if you're in game and then suddenly you want to control twitch for example you want to put your chat and subscriber only mode or you want to clear your chat or you want to switch your scene now switching your scene would be possible in OBS with a shortcut on the keyboard but twitch integration for example or another platform that's a bit harder and you can see it already on the screen I installed touch portal and and so instead of a fresh start I'm going to choose OBS because I want to see which presets they're going to give okay let's click on start welcome let's see which profiles we get oh my God this intro is so annoying okay so apparently this is empty here we have no presets and on the phone we need to connect to touch portal I'm going to go through the setup wizard okay it says I'm connected now and I see some things moving maybe if I turn my phone this will turn as well or we might need to click this default landscape now let's try one of the actions I'm not going to do much but for example here obs yes set scene we will drag this to the right and then we can choose which scene let's say the game scene and I think that if I do save and close now that it will be here but I don't see anything we might have to set up this button okay let's choose this crappy icon make it full size write game scene save and close and here we go the button is here now we can reposition it and we can also see it on the phone now we should have taken a different image but I'm going to press the button and boom the scene changes now obviously this is a very Android like do it yourself application and you'll need to make sure that the buttons look pretty yourself but there are a lot of options here you also have twitch Integrations for example as you can see a button to create a clip play an ad clear the chat this is an amazing way to have stream control but do it completely for free now next I'm going to install the webcam on the monitor it's the Razer kaijo and it's an amazing webcam I'm really excited to show this it also feels very premium like this stand here usually these are very flimsy stands that are like bouncing around wobbling around on your monitor but this is very thick it's pretty heavy it's very sturdy and it feels like a quality webcam it feels more expensive than $50 and I'm really curious now because I want to test both lighting options now before we test this webcam with the lights I want to test it with my lights here please don't forget that when attaching any webcam you should always make sure that it's running at the correct resolution so I'm going to set this to 1080P and it's much bigger in the preview now so it wasn't set to the right resolution before okay I'm going to pick up the webcam for a second so as you can see this is a very crisp webcam now there are very premium lights aimed at me but I just wanted to show you what the potential is of this webcam and also how important good lighting is so I'm going to put it right here this is going to be the test setup and I'm going to turn off one light turn off the other one and I'm going to turn off the RGB behind me as well because it's not a fair comparison so it should all be turning off now all right everything is turned off now besides the ring light of the webcam and then the LED panel and we will have to change the exposure manually okay now this works but I wanted to show you this if you only have one pretty weak light aimed at you then the whole room will be very dark and then you will be very bright and if you come too close there will be bright spots on your skin especially if I turn on this ring light even if I'm further away I think this is fine but usually with cheaper webcams it's better to just turn on your room lights and then have an LED panel for example and the ring light also aimed at you we can even turn off the ring lights and you can then play around with the wide balance to look for something that you like but I think this might might be a better option compared to turning off all your lights so I'm now going to try the other two lights here these are much cheaper I'm going to a them towards me turn this on so I'm going to set this to the maximum as well I'm then going to turn off this light and I think we can agree that I look way more lit up so I played around a bit with the settings I am a bit darker now but I do look more cinematic and I think that this is a much better setup look at me I'm very pleased with this result so it's the two budget lights aimed at me I really like this look I left my room lights I will quickly turn them off so as you can see I'm kind of in the dark now this could work if you want this look but I like the previous one better and in case you want to see everything together this is the pseudo Tech mic together with the webcam with the lights we have our touch portal to control the stream we have a second monitor I will link all of these products in the description I had so much fun building the setup if you want to see more content like this subscribe to the channel I will build setups for other budgets follow us on Instagram for behind the scenes maybe you can check out this video because it's a recommended for you thank you so much for watching and I will see you in one of my next videos have a nice day
