**The Experience at Nice Try Jain Center Event**

I recently attended the Nice Try Jain Center event and had a great time. The smaller, close-knit events are often some of my favorites because I get to form connections with the people who attend, make new friends, and chat with old ones. It was also a great experience meeting all the authors in attendance. I was flattered that many people enjoyed my questions during moderation, as it can be nerve-wracking when talking to authors.

I had a lot of fun getting to meet authors like Leon, who is now an author I admire after loving her book so much, and two new authors whose books I'm excited to read. The two books are "Now Is Everything" by Amy Giles and "Rest in Peace Eliza Hart" by ELISA Shine Mel. I also got a nice try Jane sinner tote bag at the event as a thank you from the author.

**The Authors' Presence**

One of the highlights of the event was seeing New York Times bestselling author Adam Silveira and Laura Sebastian, who is another author with "Ashe Princess" coming out this April. I'm very excited for this one! The authors were also all in support of each other, which made it a great atmosphere to be in.

I also got to meet a few of my fans, including Kelly Courtney, Lilly, and Diego, who came out to chat and share their excitement about the event. It was wonderful to connect with them and discuss our shared love for books.

**The Vlog**

This vlog has been a long time coming, as I've been too busy to film after class during my senior semester. However, now that I'm back in the swing of things, I wanted to share my experience at the event with all of you. I had so much fun asking questions and hearing the authors' responses. It's always nerve-wracking when I'm moderating events, but seeing how everyone enjoyed it made me feel more confident.

**The Future**

I'm excited to announce that there are many great book signings coming up in January, and I'll be attending two of them. This is going to be an amazing year of book signings, and I'm thrilled to be back on the "book signing grind". **Personal Life**

On a personal note, I recently had surgery where a tube was put in my left ear so I can finally hear again. It was a weird day afterwards, but I'm glad it's over and I can move on with my life. The event was actually the highlight of my weekend, as I spent time with my boyfriend Doug before he moves away for most of 2018.

I also want to thank Michael for filming most of this event and including the synopsis of the two books that were featured at the event. It really helped me connect with the audience and make it a great experience.

for this super awesome day I have missed going to book signings so so much and I have so many plans for this year I think it might be going to at least one or two more just in January and I can't wait to take you guys along with me ok so right now it's about 12 o'clock my train is at like twelve twenty twelve thirty I think I'm just having a quick snack I'm having some acorn squash with ground turkey and it's pretty delicious I made it because I thought that Michael wasn't coming in early to meet me for lunch or brunch and now he is so I'm eating good today I'm just watching some proper people which is my favorite urban explorer YouTube channel I love them so much this one is actually this location is only like 40 minutes from my house and it's one of my favorite ones so I'm just hanging out here I'm gonna get dug up in a few minutes like he can drive me and then we're gonna be on our way into the city yeah I'm vlogging I only keep today are in there you're blocking me okay so Michael and I are at Max Brenner as always I have my mac and cheese burger with fries and Michael has is very typical pizza that you've seen in a million blogs you literally issues I'm pretty sure you only eat pizza like so Michael said we need to celebrate my breathing I think this is our second dessert ever from X Frederick but it looks so good I lost Michael and he ran into someone that he apparently knows and I'm late for a hot chocolate date with para for me to 18 my face is frozen oh my god this is so cold in New York City it's literally like five degrees I'm only like a block away from City Bakery we're gonna have some hot chocolate that we're gonna go celebrate those are March - no so this is my first a stretching center is grown in high school while going through Community College and reality show so I like big brother yeah sirens blaring all right this is actually I know the call when I was at work it's a super normal boring day but it changed everything of course but if we actually tell anyone because my boyfriend Brent he didn't know until I find my agent I'm a book and I called I think they didn't really happen till I discussed it with you first experience is very loud sundries as to what is the first word that comes to mind or all something that is meaningful to you about the experience of writing it love anyway and just atmosphere is it a video yes it's a video origami rocket sorry I have not logged in a hot second Michael and I were a mex runner and then I basically ran to get coffee or hot chocolate with Hera oh my god City Bakery hot chocolate is literally like melted chocolate bars it's so so good it was a huge marshmallow in the center of it delicious why don't I have a good angle yeah the event is over I had a great time did you enjoy it I enjoyed you enjoying it Oh Michael so basically Michael told me that basically this literally looks like the six of crows crew as childress cribe the Michael so right here we've got an S and then we've got violin and Mateus and Jasper and then in costume I knew that and that's the signature but how weird is it that it's like perfectly them though I mean aside for me in the Incas that that totally could look like Nina and cos I mean that looks like me in his face out of all the fan art but burn time Kaz could use some shaved sides but still I I think it's valid because it's just a so-called idea there's really nothing to do in New York when it's all about time on the train home I'm my favorite seat which is like where the conductor or the conductor he's supposed to sit because no one bothers so it's been a few days essentially Saturday night once I got home from the event it was my last night to spend with my boyfriend Doug before he moves a state away for most of 2018 so I'm sure you guys can understand why spending time with him was more important than ending this vlog and then on Sunday I worked all day and it was just like weird day afterwards I didn't feel like
