state is over 900 so we're gonna have to abandon the refurbished store for this particular video for the iphone moseying on over to amazon i think our best bet for a device that's the best overall value would be picking the iphone 11. i to this day think the iphone 11 is probably the best combination of features newish design and serious processing power that i think it's the version that i would call the best budget we can find it right here for about 350 with it being renewed boom that's something i'd add to the cart any day of the week so what do we get with an iphone 11 well we get the a13 processor 64 gigabytes of storage and that beautiful 6.1 inch liquid retina display yes 64 gigabytes of storage is pretty low but at least we're getting all of the other cool features of previous flagships as opposed to spending today's money on 64 gigabytes of storage wouldn't that be embarrassing if you had to spend today's money on 64 gigabytes of storage but the main things are you'll still be able to access everything that ios can do you'll get updates for years to come plus this is the first version of the iphone with the ultra wide angle front-facing camera and while you might laugh at my excitement about that the camera is the whole reason i bought this iphone when it came out like real talk when you're running a big social media thing selfies are a part of life and this has the best if you are an office worker or a student we've got to get some work done or some studying done at some point and i think with even how great the mac mini is i think there is a better option to buy something a little more versatile and go with the macbook when we start talking budget and we start talking macbooks in the same sentence there's really only one option in my opinion and that's the m1 macbook air this darn computer is absolutely the best budget or best value computer ever made over on the refurbished store this time unfortunately they are not in stock at their base model generally here you can find them for about 849 dollars and honestly if that's what you're looking for i would probably check this every now and again to make sure that i buy one refurbished because buying refurbished from apple gives you all of the benefits check this out it gives you all of the benefits of apple care and a robust return policy and they treat it like it's brand new but i do want to be able to show you something today so let's head on back over to amazon boom right there and scrolling through almost immediately it looks like we can get that same m1 macbook air for 829 renewed it looks like we could get a couple of upgrades in here if we really wanted to but personally i think this base model m1 macbook air is the best value laptop that you are going to find period and what do we get for that 829 well the m1 macbook air comes with the 8 core m1 standard processor it has a 7 core gpu 8 gigabytes of unified memory a 256 gigabyte solid state drive and a staggering amount of battery life it's absolutely bonkers to me that a year and a half into the macbook air's life there is still nothing else on the market that can compete with this it's got single core performance right up there with the m1 max processor it's got multi-core performance that puts it way outside anything this size in the windows world and 18 hours of battery life essentially means you never have to think about it yes the ports are slightly underwhelming but you'll still get two thunderbolt 3 which will allow this little laptop to be both your traveling machine but with one plug of a cable it can also be your desktop computer as well this computer is such a good value it takes my breath away to this day that apple sent this out because this computer by itself literally upended the laptop market where unless you need a specific amount of power or you are a dedicated gamer and you need the sickest frames per second around this is the only laptop that makes sense next up with all of the new updates between the operating systems i do think an ipad is a good inclusion inside of an overall ecosystem even one labeled budget and my recommendation here might be a little spicy you might be like gary you're just gonna go with the ipad standard or you're gonna go with an ipad from like six years ago but i'm gonna say the ipad air 4 especially as of the date that i'm researching and making this video this is hands down the best budget ipad on the market for this one we're not even going to bother going to the apple refurbished site because they have not yet had any of the last two years of ipad updates on that site so we'll go back over to amazon where we can find ipad air 4 available here for 499 dollars but what solidified it as me adding it to this list is you get an additional 30 off of the price when you buy it on amazon bringing the overall price down to 469 dollars that's the single best value for a tablet you are going to find anywhere and i didn't i'm not saying ipad i'm saying the single best value tablet you are going to find when making this video i was planning on this to be a great option or i wouldn't have been researching it for this specific video but i was not prepared for how good of an option it was going to turn into heck for that 469 dollars you are getting the a14 processor the latest apple design language in its 10.9 inch liquid retina panel you get 64 gigabytes of storage and this will do 90 of what the bigger batter ipad pro can do except it's not going to leave a hole in your wallet i mean look at how big this tablet is you don't want to hold this big inside of your wallet you'll never be able to use it again i've always thought of the ipad air 4 as a great deal that's why i've made several videos saying that you aren't really missing anything going from the ipad air 4 to the ipad air 5 except the ultra wide angle front facing camera or 5g connection if you need it if you don't care about either of those things this is the best tablet to buy and i am so happy that we were able to find a way to add it to this specific ecosystem the next good to have addition to this list are a set of airpods because airpods are the best thing that apple's invented maybe ever and i'm not even an audiophile or maybe it's because i'm not an audiophile that i like these so much i can never remember how that shakes out it's pretty obvious that the budget king in the airpods department are the original airpods these airpods in fact well not not these specific ones you can't have and definitely do not want the ones that i've been wearing for years but you know a set of original airpods okay this is the one thing today that we're not even going to bother looking for used or refurbished maybe it's a personal hang-up of mine but the thought of using someone else's old air pods i think that's pretty gross i'm sure the companies clean them but and i really wanted to find another website for this because buying everything at amazon kind of sucks but they do have a set uh here check it out airpods second but they do have a really good deal on the airpods second generation and the second generation is essentially the originals with a wireless charging case they have these on sale for 99 where other places i checked are 129 or more and yes it sounds like a little bit but those price increases are bigger the cheaper the product is so 99 is a fantastic addition to our little ecosystem we're making here for that money we'll be able to get the originals when it comes to truly wireless headphones there isn't any noise cancellation here which is unfortunate but my biggest concern and fear about airpods is losing them but i feel better when they cost about half of what i would normally pay you'll get roughly five hours of listening time per charge of the airpods themselves and the case gives you about four and a half additional charges of the pods giving you a rough estimate of almost 20 hours of listening time no i won't show my math on that because i don't do math in public and even editing it out i still don't do math here that's why the airpods became the most popular headphones by the way apple like apple sales of these is more than most like companies with diverse products and i'm gonna include an apple watch in this video as well because it's really the apple watch that ties the whole apple ecosystem together seriously if this worked with any other system i don't think the whole environment would be as tightly wound whether you agree with me or not i think that this is the only useful smart watch round i've tried tons of smart watches and nothing comes close to this for the apple watch we could go back and get something from the refurbished
