My New Honda Civic Type R!

**The Truck Update**

It's been months since we last updated you on our truck's progress, and I know everyone is eager to hear about its status. Well, let me tell you - it's been a long road. After we broke in the truck at Ultimate Call Out Challenge, I took it home and thought I had fixed everything. Unfortunately, that was just a myth, and it ended up being a bigger problem than I initially thought.

So, what happened? Well, after I tore it apart to try and fix it, I realized that there was nothing wrong with the transmission inside. It was running perfectly, but the only issue was with the converter, which had been serviced by our local shop. But don't worry, we're on top of it now. The shop is going to inspect it for us and hopefully get it back up and running in time for an upcoming event.

We've also got some new project cars in the works, including a full-on video series that will be coming out this month. We can't give too much away just yet, but let's just say that we're excited about what you guys are going to see.

completely gone off the Tesla and we still have to get that air suspension issue fixed because that's going to be critical for what we're doing next but uh yeah yeah I'm going to leave it at that for right now but while the windshield's off I do want to drive this thing down the street what you don't want to go W no you don't trust me no not one bit I do kind of like this oversized very powerful skateboard of death if we didn't have the world's lightest Tesla before it has to be now well that windshield was another not with two people I was going to say not with Wyatt on the back yeah I did put the stock seat back on too it's a lot more comfortable he said yep I'm not going to get on it I'm not going to get on it definitely need some goggles or something all the dust off this thing was Sam blasting me you want to try it not really I don't feel like dying today all right guys you know the deal Kyle just told me to come out and film oh my god brother a freaking typ R dude we come up in the world boys what is this we can't eBay turbo kit this thing is too nice what a unit some kids 5 years ago working on some beater Honda Civics and now we got the best freaking one they make well it ain't no red hatch but it pretty dang nice it's not too bad dude that thing is sick how's it run dude she runs really good Honda they know if there doing it's a 2021 still a manual comes with a 2 L turbo this 2 L 2 L dang not it out right there Earth dreams sh VTEC and turbo that's crazy they finally got smart yes they did the VTEC was good and then it got even better when they added the turbo on there nice dude right on the front see burnout this thing can we try a burnout out in it I mean I think we have to right when I get here with it just do a little front whee drive burnout got to break it in I really wish they made these things all-wheel drive if they made these all-wheel drive it would have been competing with like the STI evos that they don't make anymore it would have been a really good car but it is front-wheel drive so we can do a burnout yeah I think we should I don't know if it has like some traction control or something we got to turn off so check out the interior in here got these red Type R seats with the bucket seats all right let me flip it around real quick she got that brembos too all right guys how much you want to Betty break something I really hope it doesn't break something if you didn't hear him he said I hope it doesn't break something sick burn all right so it turns out these new cars aren't as cool as the old ones D there has to be a way to do it because they take them to the track they do burnouts for their passes try hitting the I have traction control off do you hold it and like make sure stability tracks off or anything they might have like two levels there has to be something maybe there's like a sport mode oh there it is it's in sport now maybe that changes it put the handbrake on okay the brak's on huh okay give her help God dang dude it looks like it looks like a drag Civic on skinnies bro it's pulling the rear tires just drag it yep all right we'll give her we'll give her one good one I didn't know what it was doing it's a good thing that say he's getting some new tires dude that eat braake working great I don't know if you can do it like while you're just going but it definitely had them locked up yep that's pretty wild you knew we got to go rip this thing real quick all right let's go let you feel the detch let me drive it brother you want to drive it first yes all right I ain't never been in a typ r all right it's all you bud let's break this thing hopefully not give her a rip 300 lb of or 300 horsepower of Fury I think you got a flat spot the T buddy oh we definitely do you can hear it I was like what's that noise we definitely put a flat spot in the tire my bad good thing it's getting some fresh nitos baby give her a good first gear rip up into seconds good they're they're pppy for that's completely OEM phone stop like that's fun got a flat dude that flat spot is bad whoops no that thing's sweet it's py it's fun to drive it shifts great didn't even miss third like how it's crazy yeah man I like it get a little typ r flyby it's not our Civic until we officially missed third GE so you know I got to do it oh man that's crazy missed third now it's ours figured I'd share a quick story back when I first built the engine in the hatch while I was actually helping me with it and when we got that thing tuned the hatch made 330 horsepower which isn't too much more than this makes and the first time we felt boost I wish we had a camera on cuz we just lost our minds we like holy crap we are the baddest kids in the neighborhood right now and this so fast we just couldn't stop laughing we were just doing like first and second gear rips right in front of the high school in our town we're like I hope all the kids outside can hear how cool we are and uh yeah those were some good times it's funny how much more refined this one is that one was loud as hell torque steered all over the place yeah this one quiet drive straight this thing would be kind of sick with a hood exit though but yeah guys that is our new Civic Type R I was actually going to pick one of these things up back before I got the Porsche when I was looking for a solid daily driver the Porsche came up for a really good deal though so I ended up just getting that thing and I also had a really cool idea to do to the Porsche so I also saw it as like a future project car not just a solid daily driver and I already went ahead and ordered a ton of bolt-ons and some mods for the Civic those are already on the way also don't pay attention to that burnt Tesla in the background that will be explained soon so don't even look at that but yeah guys this year has been crazy we accomplished a ton but we want to try to hit next year even harder we want to try to get the MR2 back to World Cup hopefully have a back up Billet block I also got the word that Hayden has started on the NSX so that is going to be a serious project as well that I'm very excited for we got to get the 2JZ Civic up and going Wyatt is getting his truck back together here soon we want to make sure Wyatt can get his truck up and going cuz he's put a ton of time into that thing and with all that being said as much as I'd love to hang on to this Civic it make a perfect daily for when we do tear into the Porsche I'm going to continue to drive that thing and we're actually going to be giving the Civic away to one of you guys go ahead and roll the freaking awesome you got these bright red Type R seats you have a whole bunch bunch of carbon fiber accents all the way around what I really love about this thing is that it is a manual and it's a 2021 and Honda is still building manual cars which is awesome to see because you know the manuals have been dying so super fun car to drive you're still connected with this thing with the gear shifter there if you come to the back over here we got this nice Wing that all the type RS come with help you get some extra down force on the back even though she is front-wheel drive definitely helps especially going around a road course these also make really good track cars so not only can you daily drive it but you can also you know hit the local road course and and I believe this car set the factory front-wheel drive record at the nurburg ring for an oem front-wheel drive car I might have to double check on that but I know when these things came out they were a very fast car especially for being front-wheel drive so they definitely rip it the track as well we take a look under the hood we have a 2 L VTEC Turbo 4 cylinder got it right here you know VTEC and turbo technology combine them both together it's going to rip can't have a Honda Civic without VTEC guys and it's really awesome that this comes factory with a turbo and it's a manual I mean I think uh Honda really knew what they were doing with this one they definitely kept the car guys in mind and that's why this thing is so freaking cool but yeah it comes Factory with 300 horsepower we're definitely going to add some truck it's been months it's been too long so long story short after we broke it in Indie at ultimate call out challenge I had torn it apart I thought I got it fixed and I didn't and at that point I was just so burnt out on the thing it's been sitting in the background for I don't know what four 5 months now probably four months yeah whyatt ended up building a whole new car on the side that we with is that's why it's new project car that we're going to try to do a whole video on here soon it's coming very soon that thing should be running here within like the next two weeks so between that it away for a while but I finally got the transmission pulled out of it last week got it torn apart here and to my surprise there is absolutely nothing wrong on the inside of this thing so after ultimate call out challenge when I thought I got it back together I took it to the track and it slipped all the way through like first or second third and fourth gear was just on the limiter pretty much the entire time so I was like what the hell I figured it was like the direct clutch or something but yeah pull it all apart clutches all look brand freaking new there's no problems there it had good line pressure and everything so the only thing that changed between now and then is I had sent the converter back out to get it serviced so I'm thinking maybe there's something wrong with the converter cuz that's the only thing that's really changed and is now kind of leading me in that direction so I'm dropping that off tomorrow morning local Shop's going to cut it apart and inspect it for me and hopefully we can get this thing button back up for I've got at an event later this month and then hopefully the Christmas tree drag race if we can get it back together in time yeah I don't even know what I'm bringing to that yeah I was thinking about the MR2 but it's probably going to be down we a lot to do if we're going to do that so yeah December it's always the busiest month for us been too long so long story short after we broke it in Indie at ultimate call out challenge I had torn it apart I thought I got it fixed and I didn't and at that point I was just so burnt out on the thing it's been sitting in the background for I don't know what four 5 months now probably four months yeah whyatt ended up building a whole new car on the side that we haven't shown yet you guys will see that soon it's awesome I'll give them this much that's all you get to see yeah give them just just a little bit of the vent some people might be able to guess it with is that's why it's new project car that we're going to try to do a whole video on here soon it's coming very soon that thing should be running here within like the next two weeks so between that and then my project we got two fullblown videos coming out this month so don't worry guys two really good videos so yeah we've been working on that like I said I just got burned out on the truck put it away for a while but I finally got the transmission pulled out of it last week got it torn apart here and to my surprise there is absolutely nothing wrong on the inside of this thing so after ultimate call out challenge when I thought I got it back together I took it to the track and it slipped all the way through like first or second third and fourth gear was just on the limiter pretty much the entire time so I was like what the hell I figured it was like the direct clutch or something but yeah pull it all apart clutches all look brand freaking new there's no problems there it had good line pressure and everything so the only thing that changed between now and then is I had sent the converter back out to get it serviced so I'm thinking maybe there's something wrong with the converter cuz that's the only thing that's really changed and is now kind of leading me in that direction so I'm dropping that off tomorrow morning local Shop's going to cut it apart and inspect it for me and hopefully we can get this thing button back up for I've got at an event later this month and then hopefully the Christmas tree drag race if we can get it back together in time yeah I don't even know what I'm bringing to that yeah I was thinking about the MR2 but it's probably going to be down we a lot to do if we're going to do that so yeah December it's always the busiest month for us just trying to get everything knocked out for the end of the year and uh this is just another project on the list yeah so wide's truck will be coming back but yep very having some training problems yep if you guys want
