An Early Look at My iPad Pro Setup

**Setting Up My New Home Office: A Personalized Workspace**

As I sat down at my desk, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. This was going to be my new home office, where I would spend hours working on my creative projects and collaborating with clients. But what made this space truly special was the thought and care that had gone into its design. From the moment I started setting everything up, it was clear that I had put a lot of effort into creating a workspace that would inspire me to be my best.

**Adding Display and Speakers**

The first thing I noticed when I sat down at my desk was the display – a 12.9-inch iPad Pro with a Smart Keyboard attached. This would be my primary screen, where I would work on projects, edit photos and videos, and take notes. The Smart Keyboard was a great addition to this setup, providing me with a comfortable typing experience and allowing me to switch seamlessly between typing and handwriting. But the display itself wasn't the only thing that caught my eye – I had also ordered a pair of cheap but stylish blue LED speakers to add some visual flair to my space.

**Cable Management and Organization**

As I continued to set up my desk, I realized that cable management was going to be an important aspect of this workspace. To tackle this challenge, I used a cable raceway system to keep all the cables organized and tidy. This not only made the under side of my desk look much more organized but also prevented any cords from getting in the way of my work or clients who might visit me. The cable raceway was a great investment, allowing me to create a seamless and distraction-free workspace.

**Inspiration and Aesthetic**

To add some personality to my space, I brought in a fake plant – not real, but it looked nice and added some color to the overall vibe of the room. This small touch made a big difference, giving my workspace a more welcoming and creative atmosphere. And because it was tucked away in a corner, it didn't disrupt the flow of my work at all.

**Power Management**

One of the most frustrating things about working with multiple devices – especially when using an Apple pencil – is having to deal with cables and charging stations. To avoid this problem, I invested in a power hub outlet that had three USB ports, including one specifically designed for my apple pencil charger. This little gadget allowed me to charge my pencil directly from the hub without any awkward cables or clutter.

**My Trusty MacBook Pro**

In a corner of my desk, my trusty 2015 MacBook Pro sat patiently waiting for its next use. I had brought it over to this new setup because of the book Arc stand, which made the laptop incredibly stable and sturdy. The aluminum design was sleek and attractive, adding a touch of elegance to my workspace. As I plugged in the charging cable, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the convenience that this little device brought.

**The Future of My Workspace**

As I finished setting up my desk, I realized that there were still a few things to do before it was complete. One project that had been lingering in the background was building a custom monitor riser, which would allow me to elevate my iPad Pro and Apple pencil at an optimal viewing angle. With this new component, I also gained some storage space underneath for accessories and other essentials – a perfect touch of functionality to this already-pretty-perfect workspace.

**Final Thoughts**

That's where we are today, folks! As you can see from the current state of my home office setup, there is still plenty to work on. But one thing that was certain from the moment I started setting everything up – no matter what changes came next – this space would be designed with creativity and productivity at its core.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthe iMac please that's so last week hello guys are you David Franco here David franco.com the Franco university.com nintendoswitch today.com Davids patreon campaign.com I've been quite busy those links can always be found right below check them out I appreciate your support so I got to be honest for today I didn't really have a video planned and to prove that I'm recording this today on Wednesday June 14th exporting today and uploading today so yeah that just goes to show you my video schedule is not really all that planned lately but I wanted to do something interesting today for you guys so this behind me is my iPad Pro setup so I figured why not give you an early look at my setup my brand new setup yes I dedicating an entire Corner an entire desk setup to my iPad Pro and just creativity in general now my thought process moving forward with this is I love both the iPad Pro and the apple pencil but there's a problem I rarely use both together at the same time and that sucks it really does suck because when you use the apple pencil on the iPad Pro you realize just how truly Innovative and incredible the technology is it just feels like an awesome experience and I give Apple props for that so I figured with this new setup I need better focus and and if I'm over here in the corner away from my Mac Pro away from my living room away from my video game consoles and all those distractions that is the best way of focusing moving forward so let's begin what is the Asus monitor for well first of all it's either 23 or 24 in I forget the size but it's a basic monitor with HDMI and in the back um it has a chomecast plugged in yes my first chomecast ever so this is my idea whenever I'm watching like a drawing tutorial photography tutorials video editing tutorials about the iPad Pro or my MacBook Pro which is right back there I'll talk about that in a second I can simply cast the video to the Asus monitor and boom I'm done I can cast anything I want to that display and I think that's a big deal but another problem has introduced itself as of last night unfortunately there are no built-in speakers on this Asus display which is not a big deal so I went on Amazon and I ordered like a cheap pair of $20 blue LED speakers the quality is going to be okay but you know what the speakers are going to look damn awesome and I cannot wait I think they're arriving tomorrow so you can expect more details on those in the weekend of locky Vlog okay moving forward let's speat this up a bit so right here is my 12.9 in iPad Pro which I will continue to use hence it being on the desk with my Smart Keyboard I love it and right back there in the corner is my brand new 10.5 in rose gold iPad Pro 256 GB currently in no case because it's in display mode on some kind of like retractable stand I have that can like tilt way back so in other words when I'm drawing painting whatever working on photos videos I can have the iPad Pro at a nice angle where I can rest my palm on the screen and go to town with the apple pencil which I think is cool so as you can hopefully see I've thought this through very clearly now right back here this is a fake plant I really like to mute my Mac in the future this is a fake plant it's not real but you know what I think it looks nice it looks classy and it adds some color to the overall Vibe of this setup and right back here you're not going to see it in the corner but I'll throw some b-roll right now that is the tan I guess that's how you say it uh the tsan two outlet powerhub with three USB ports so as you can see I'm currently using the USB port on the far right and that is currently powering my apple pencil charger slst SL dock whatever you want to call it right back there so no longer do I have to plug the apple pencil in directly to my iPad Pro and have it looking all ridiculous I mean yeah it's convenient when you really need to charge the pencil but in general it just looks ridiculous so I figured why not dedicate a charging dock to the Apple pen pencil itself but even better when the cap is out you can actually put the cap in the stand itself so yeah I mean I think it's pretty safe to say the design was well thought out and right back here is my 2015 MacBook Pro sitting on the book Arc stand simple as that about $50 may be overpriced but you know what it's aluminum it looks nice and it just works you drop your notebook in you plug in the charging cable and boom you are charging in style that's a lot easier um and more convenient than having to open up my bag every time worry about cables and all that stuff because my power cable is currently going around the desk um and then like I said I can just plug directly in which is really nice but with that said cable management is kind of a mess I'm not going to show that right now uh but I did order myself another cable Raceway actually the same one I'm using on the setup behind the camera right now my Mac Pro setup so basically using the adhesive I can do like this giant piece of plastic um apply it to the back of this desk and then just run the cables making the under side of this desk looking much more tidy which I think is nice all right so wrapping up this video I do want to say once again this is a very early look I'm not even close to being done I actually have a little piece of furniture I have to build over there um it's still the box it just came from Amazon today it's basically a monitor Riser so it's going to make this higher for me putting at an eye level but it's also going to introduce some space underneath where I can store accessories and it actually has little slots and whatever on top for storage for your phone um USB like thumb drives manuals even a coffee mug which I think is pretty cool so with that said I invite you guys to stay tuned for the final outcome of this new desk setup I am very very excited about finally taking my apple pencil and iPad Pro seriously I think this is the right um decision moving forward and it's going to allow me to focus on my creativity more outside of my Mac Pro and MacBook Pro so what do you guys think let me know in the comment section right below and speaking of right below I will have every single item that I mentioned in today's video on Amazon right below in the video description who is currently blowing up my phone and my watch gee who do you think dny it's okay dude it's okay okay guys thank you so much for watching your support means a lot and I'll see you tomorrow peacethe
