**The Art of a Cozy Night In: A Family's Favorite Tradition**

Our family nights are always filled with laughter, love, and delicious treats. One of our favorite traditions is having a DIY movie night, where we get to relax and enjoy each other's company while watching our favorite films. We make sure to have all the essentials, including matching or coordinating PJs, which add to the fun and cozy atmosphere.

**PJs and Popcorn: The Perfect Pair**

Wearing matching or coordinating PJs is a game-changer for us. It's something we've always done, but I never realized how much it adds to the experience until recently. It's like wearing a warm hug all day long. For our snack time, we always have Brock's peanut clusters out, which are my obsession. We also make a DIY popcorn bar, where we get to control all of the seasoning on our freshly popped popcorn. It's amazing how much better it tastes when you can add your own favorite toppings.

**The Popcorn Bar: A Snack Lover's Paradise**

To make our popcorn, we simply coat the bottom of a large pot with olive oil and then add one layer of kernels. We turn the heat to medium, cover the pot, and wait for a few minutes until the popping stops. Once they're done, we get to add all our favorite toppings. I have a savory seasoning that I make myself, which includes everything but salt, garlic, parsley, and a dash of cayenne pepper. It's the best popcorn seasoning ever! For our sweet side, we use melted butter, mini marshmallows, and crushed up Brock's peanut clusters.

**DIY Drink: Spiced Cider**

For our DIY drink, we make some spiced cider that's perfect for a cozy night in. We start with apple slices, which I also add to our drink. I fill my pot with four cups of apple juice and then add about an eighth of a teaspoon of allspice. The aroma that fills the house is amazing! To top it off, we add some whipped cream and a cinnamon stick for garnish.

**The Ultimate Movie Setup**

To get the ultimate movie setup, we arrange pillows and blankets on the floor to create a cozy area. We like to put our comforter blankets, pillows, and even a little rug down to make it feel more like a movie theater at home. This is my idea of perfection – snuggled up with loved ones, watching our favorite film.

**More Cozy Night In Ideas**

Ryan and I also love to order in our favorite restaurant takeout and recreate the experience at home. We use these fun little conversation cards that ask us questions about ourselves, which always leads to interesting conversations. One of the most recent laughs we had was about Ryan farting and Carter saying he goes poop in diapers – it's pretty funny!

it is the best popcorn seasoning you have to try this then for our sweet side I put melted butter mini marshmallows and I take my Brock's peanut clusters I crushed them up and then I put those on the popcorn and mixing this all together with the marshmallows and the melted butter is just the best so setup your DIY popcorn bar and everyone can mix and match what they like it's a lot of fun to do and I just want to point out here that Carter gets its own separate snacks because popcorn is a choking hazard to babies and toddlers now for our DIY drink we're gonna make some spiced cider this is
