**The Moto Razer 2022: A Flagship Device with Some Quirks**

I just got my hands on the new Moto Razer 2022, and I'm excited to put it through its paces. As a reviewer, I've had the chance to test out some of the latest flagship devices, and I have to say that this one has some promising features.

**Face Unlock: A Game-Changer**

One of the first things I noticed about the Moto Razer 2022 was its face unlock feature. I mean, it's not like I don't have a face unlock already - I'm used to having to touch my phone every time I want to use it. But with this device, I can just look at the screen and it'll recognize me. It's like having your own personal superpower. The Face Unlock feature is fast and accurate, and it works seamlessly on both sides of the screen.

**Fingerprint Sensor: A Nice Touch**

While I was playing around with the phone, I noticed that the fingerprint sensor on the side of the device worked really well. It's not like it took a lot to get used to, and it felt nice and clicky under my finger. The Moto Razer 2022 has a fast and reliable fingerprint sensor, and it's definitely one of the better ones I've seen in a while.

**Customization: A Minor Complaint**

One thing that really bothered me about the Moto Razer 2022 was its lack of customization options. I mean, I get it - sometimes less is more - but when you're paying top dollar for a flagship device, you expect to be able to personalize it to some extent. The phone's always-on display is not customizable, and there's no wireless charging option either. But hey, at least the camera looks like an upgrade.

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about the camera on the Moto Razer 2022. Would it live up to my expectations? Well, I'm happy to report that it does look promising. The camera is a major upgrade from what I've seen in previous devices, and I think it's definitely worth checking out.

when is the global release I don't know all right so let's go through the specs real quick now this one comes in one color black for the main display you got a 6.7 in ped panel with a resolution of 1080x 2400 that is 393 for the PPI Patrol you got Gorilla Glass 5 for protection you got a water repellent coating HDR 10 plus and a 144 HZ refresh rate now for the secondary display that one is a 2.7 in goed panel with a resolution of 573 by 800 as far as the ppis I don't know for the processor you got the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 plus Generation 1 with the adrenal 730 GPU now what does that mean in English Flagship specs bro Flagship specs now you got eight or 12 gigs of RAM 128 256 or 512 gigs of storage no micro SD card slot for expandable memory now it's running Android 12 with my UI 4.0 skin on top now for the battery you got a 3,500 mamp battery that features 33 3 wat fast charge for the cameras on the rear you got a dual setup so you got a 50 megapix wide angle and a 13 megapix Ultra wide and you can shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second on the front you got a 32 megapixel wide-angle lens and you can shoot video at 1080p 60 frames per second now you got dual stereo speakers Bluetooth Wi-Fi NFC and a side mounted fingerprint sensor all right so all of that for 1100 bucks what's missing no IP rating so the phone is not fully water resistant no Quad HD display no expandable memory no Wireless charge and no headphone jack that'sit whack # bars okay Birdman hands rubbing together let's get it on first things first shout out to White Shoes back in the building love I love my I love my calm down okay now whenever I get a new phone that's the predecessor from a previous phone the first thing I like to do is pull out the old phone and play with it for a couple of days and try to remember the things that I liked and the things that I didn't like now if y'all watch my full review for the motor Razer 20120 you know I absolutely hated this phone but this actually looks like an upgrade now just in case you haven't seen that video let's do a quick recap let's talk about everything that I didn't like from the motor Razer 2020 I motor Razer 2020 first of all the price remember this phone came out at 1,600 bucks now 2 years ago 1,600 bucks that's about the same as 2,000 bucks right now this phone was extremely overpriced next the build quality yall remember the plastic back it just feels like garbage okay I hated the plastic build next the mid-range specs remember this phone came out at Flagship prices but it was a mid-range phone you only had 6 gigs of RAM 128 gigs of storage and it had the Snapdragon 710 processor when all the other Flagship phones was in the Snapdragon 800s so this was a mid-range phone next the battery okay 2500 milliamps it was garbage I hit the battery on this phone was garbage next no dual speakers trash okay the camera absolute garbage no wide angle lens okay only had eight times zoom straight garbage okay okay remember the side buttons okay the little tiny flimsy side buttons whack okay the fingerprint sets on the front whack okay and the biggest thing remember this plastic display with that sound hold let me put it by the mic yall hear that sound every time you scroll you hear that plastic sound this phone was absolute garbage for the price now if it would have been 700 bucks I wouldn't have been complaining but for 1,600 bucks this was a big hell no hell no and after playing with it for a couple of days I remember exactly why I hated it introduce the 2020 I introducing the 2020 version now you got some upgrades okay this one does have glass build okay it does have Flagship specs you got a bigger battery better cameras side matter of fingerprint sensor dual stereo speakers this should be a real upgrade okay motor Razer 2022 as far as the presentation nice black box I know I like that giggity I will say this though the Box the presentation for the 2020 version was a little bit better okay it was a little bit nicer okay so inside this is going to be it's going to be a device now remember Chinese version okay I don't know when the global version is going to come out so right now we just got to rock with the uh shiing ping version okay so inside you got a little case okay I like to see that already okay Samsung Apple Google pay attention 33 wat fast charging Brick In The Box now 33 wat fast charging not the best in the world okay but give me the charge in the Box let's see what else you get okay now it should be usual books and pluck them and follow them some ejection tool nothing nothing really too fancy to see there and this is going to be USB type-c charging cable let's see this is USB a to USB type-c okay and that's pretty much it pretty much it okay so as as far as the case only for one side okay here we go okay now fresh out of the box I will say this y'all thought I was making a big deal okay with the uh plastic build on the 2020 version the build quality feels like night and day night and day now let's get the first flip okay okay let's open it up okay now it does have a nice locking into mechanism locking locking into place okay little flipology okay let's uh let's see the okay look now you got the side mounted fingerprint sensor okay now look at the buttons on the side again some people think I was being a being a dick but look at the buttons on this one on the 2020 you could barely feel these and has a little bit of ridges on your power button but it's hard to differentiate the two now you got a big juicy big juicy power button with the fingerprint sensor y'all remember how whack this fingerprint sensor front was that was trash okay now look at the display looks a little bit bigger looks a little bit bigger okay I'm already getting a little bit hype okay here we go okay now let's see okay now we don't have that plastic feel on the front Okay I like that already Let's uh swipe over okay now again I bought this one from giztop so it already came pre-installed with the uh Play Store we're going to have to log in and set all that stuff up but so far all right so far it's definitely feeling like an upgrade now it just feels wider I definitely feels wider as you can see you got more cameras the camera on this phone I can't stress this enough how much I hated this phone I just and not to mention on a side note this is the phone that I had in my pocket when I got covid okay this is the co phone right here this one is just garbage all this one is garbage I just kept it for the Nostalgia Factor you know cuz Moto razes very oh okay okay hold I'm sorry shoes hold up now was that sound oh okay okay now look come on man y'all Y y'all think I'll be exaggerating stuff remember when I just did my full review for the Z flip and I said it needs to have a sound when you open it has to have an open and closed sound it just makes it feel better hold up oh I like that I like that already you know what I'm saying now if you're a flipology okay let me calm down let me calm down let me calm down okay let's get our maximum brightness on this turn off that auto brightness okay now as far as the knits on this I don't know how much knage it has well we'll figure that out all right so let me pause the video real quick let me drop some of my information in and then we'll Breeze through the OS Okay Talk Amongst yourselves all right y'all so we back in now I just put my information in the phone got everything all set up and I got to be honest with y'all fresh out of the box I'm not going to say I love this phone but I will say I do like it way more than the 2020 version there's some upgrades that you're going to feel and notice immediately now the side note there was a back to this case okay I didn't see it in the box but you do have a full case now let's talk about the phone real quick just like the original once you move it you get your outer display now from the outer display let's go ahead and open it up bang look at the difference in the size of the outer displays pretty much about the same but it just feels bigger okay it feels bigger on the 2022 now you got the same functionality so if you swipe over this will activate your camera okay you can do videos also you swipe up there's all your notifications you swipe down here's your quick toggles okay everything on deck and if you swipe over you got your apps okay now little shortcuts right here so I got clock ready for which is Moto's version of Samsung decks got Gallery I can bring up a dial pad right here make some phone calls okay sync agenda you got your commute suggestions and you can manage your panels all right so this is all while the phone is closed but the biggest thing you'll use it for is swiping up and seeing your notifications I don't have any right now but swipe up there's your notifications and quick access to your camera okay let's get him powered back off and here's your sleep display okay now there's no always on display so once you touch the phone you get the grade out clock once you unlock it full clock now you do have face unlock also all right so speaking of Face Unlock couple of different ways you can open up the device you got fingerprint sensor okay look how fast that is you hear that little sound bang you got face unlock okay you see that I'm not going to touch nothing I'm just going to look at it bang that's quick okay and of course I love that sound when you got it open like this you can close it and leave it on the table unfold it okay there's your Peak display now we'll talk about that in a minute no always on display but you do got face unlock from the outer display bang There It Is and of course your fingerprint sensor Works flawlessly and if you want to let me use a different finger you can swipe up putting your pad in your PIN now another thing that you'll notice once you unfold it okay the display is actually wider okay a lot wider than the 2020 which makes it a lot easier to use now as far as the build quality this says glass it kind of feels like frosted glass it could be plastic I could be wrong but it doesn't have this cheapy this cheapy plastic even if even if this is plastic even though I read somewhere that is glass glass probably is glass this plastic right here was just trash it just has this it just has a little cheesy feel to it now with the 2022 it feels a lot more sturdy right definitely feels a lot more sturdy same thing when you unfold it I got to calm down when you unfold it nice sturdy hinge on this one and most importantly you don't have that plasticky feel I mean it's hard to explain if you never use this one listen again listen closely you hear that sound it just had like a plasticky sound to it when you unfolded it the hinge when you unfolded it when you when you unfold it the hinge doesn't feel as sturdy like it feels like you can you can almost fold it back while it's up you can defold it you can defold it let's see if you can defold this one okay you can if you really want to but it's not as easy okay oh I like that too and you could you can refold it takes a little bit I'm GNA have to break my wrist in it takes a little wrist action okay okay let's while we here let's go to the camera real quick now before I get to the camera let's Breeze through the OS okay so you swipe over now this is the Chinese version okay so you're not going to have your Google home your Google homepage but if you want that press one button there's your Google homepage okay now let me look let that load up real quick okay what's up with Britney what's up with Britney you're in jail because you failed ra all right so here's your Google homepage let me stop playing that's that's that's not funny that's not funny all right so there's your Google homepage exit out of that now typical Motorola phone so you got all your moto features now we'll go through those briefly okay here's your quick toggles okay so of course you got mic access and camera access Android 12 I like that okay you got Google Wallet screenshots flashlights screen record everything on Deck there's your power button and your settings so let's breathe through the settings real quick no need to go through the personalizations let's go to uh let's see you got Bluetooth NFC okay let's go to uh no need to go to apps notifications okay everything is there now I'm just checking to make sure we're not missing anything let's go to battery now one of my biggest gripes with the 2020 version the covid phone the battery was just garbage now you got a real upgrade in the battery this one was 2510 this one is 3500 milliamps so you got a basically an extra 1,000 milliamps that's huge okay that's huge okay so you do have battery saver Ultra battery okay we'll put this one to the test too I don't think the battery is going to be spectacular on this but it should be better than the co phone let's go to storage again one of my biggest gripes you only had 128 which for me is cool cuz I'm using this as a secondary device but if you're using this as your main phone now you got 256 or 5 112 that's real storage not to mention there's no expandable memory so you're going to need that not to mention this one also has more RAM okay remember 6 gigs of RAM 128 this was this was damn near a peasant phone okay this one right here now you got 8 gigs 128 or you could go 12 gigs 512 if you want to make it a big boy version okay sound and vibration now here's another thing check this out let's see if we can get some sound dual speakers all right dual speakers as opposed to one trashy speaker dual speakers we'll test them out in a minute okay let's see you got different ring tones okay you got your flip to open Sound now it would have been dope if you had a bunch of different sounds it looks like you only got one okay you got flip to silence flip for do not disturb you got your media controls okay let's go ahead and turn this on this way when you playing your your music you use the secondary display okay real nice let's go to display okay now this is Max brightness as far as the knage I'm not sure okay but it seems like a lot of knits seem like has a decent amount of knits on this one okay colors we going to leave it nice and saturated I like it a little bit cooler okay let's let's get and get it a little cooler okay let's see now you got 120 HZ we're going to leave it on auto but when you're gaming you can go all the way up to 144 Herz let's see auto rotate might as well leave that on flicker prevention lead that on full screen you got attentive display this way as long as you're looking at the display it'll stay on you got your Peak display now I'll test this when I do the full review because right now I don't have any notifications coming in but basically yall seen this before Peak display you just peek on it and it'll show you it'll show you uh it'll show you the uh the uh notification okay so nothing to really see here with the peak display three finger screenshots bong swipe for swipe for split screen Swip gesture ready for now I'll show you what ready for is it's basically Samsung Dex okay you can use your phone uh connected to a external monitor real nice okay you got screen record okay we'll leave that stuff on okay personalizations now no always on display but you can change your icon your let's make sure we got all our Android 12 which widgets let's go to Gmail do I even have Gmail on this okay I don't think I downloaded Gmail yet but these are you can see these are your Android 12 widgets okay real nice that sound that open and close I like that okay open and close sound Little Live Wallpaper right here again no always on display but with these small batteries you're not going to want always on display okay you're not going to want that you do have Peak display so if I get a notific ification I can just press on it and I can read the notification without actually unlocking it okay so let's take a look at the software real quick okay no thanks go to apple.com now I'm going to have to download the Chrome browser all right now I'm on the uh the shiing Ping browser okay nasty plastic feel that I hate it okay let's try the Dual speakers get max volume okay now I want to show you something while that's playing all right so I just connected to the Wi-Fi let's hear the difference between dual speakers versus one speaker all right so here's the Moto 2020 let's get max volume that's max volume look at this are you kidding me look all right so you got the one single speaker which was trash now let's try to look at the difference you got sound coming at the top now it just sounds louder I can't stress how much I hated watching videos with this phone out of one bottom firing speaker it did sound okay but when you holding your phone like this okay and you covering up the bottom a little bit it just sounded horrible this one sounds way better the display is way wider let's see look at the difference okay let's get some full screen activity you could barely see that folder I got to give him credit you hold on me let me let me pause just for a second you got to give them credit you could barely see the folding line I like that let's see let's go to something white okay look at this you could barely see the fold now a fold is right in the middle right there you could barely see it all right now look yall know my model you're only as good as your last phone if this was your last your last foldable phone this was garbage I this was garbage shout out to moto they made the necessary adjustments okay this is a uh this is a viable folding device Now is it going to be able to beat something like this is it going to be able to beat the Samsung the Z flip I doubt it I I highly doubt it but we'll put it to the test now real quick let's take it over to the let's take it over to the camera okay now one of the things that I didn't like was the zoom same thing you only got eight time zoom all right so same trashy Zoom but you did have now you do have wide angle okay not the widest wide angle in the world but a little bit of wide angle and you do have macro okay so you got slow motion you got video let's swipe over okay you got video Let's see the video full HD okay what it 8K okay you got 8K you got 4K okay so you do you do got some different uh video resolutions let's go to uh let's see okay got stabilization got and turn that on hdr10 plus okay real nice exit out of that photos again you got wide angle eight times Zoom you got portrait mode okay change your boka effect you got PR mode okay change your white balance your shter speed go crazy you got spot color that's a moto uh staple of moto phones night vision Panorama group selfie Ultra resolution 50 megapixels you got scan uh slide scan okay I got to try that one out dual capture front and back at the same time time lapse you got another spot color and dual dual video okay pretty dope pretty dope okay okay I I didn't know they had 8K video so you got a 4K and the 8K let's see HDR doesn't work with this resolution okay real nice we'll play with all that stuff in a minute so I'm going to go ahead and leave it on 4K all right so I how your video is going to look I took a quick shot of shoes not bad not bad with the camera okay now of course yall know my gripes already no Wireless charge not too much customization okay look now there's your media controls all right so I can play my videos right from the outer display okay let's uh see how do we get back to that okay hit that power button okay there it is video controls bang just like that not too much customization like as far as the outer display you can't put your own picture you're going to have to use one of their um one of their little clocks like this going to have to use one of these joints okay you got your quick toggles you got your notifications okay now look I do got some notifications okay now let's see do we can we read them from here no we're going to have to uh open up the phone same thing but I do like the fingerprint sensor on the side way better than this ugly old school fingerprint set in the front I mean don't get me wrong it did work all right it did work and y'all know let's see you see the same thing here's my notifications okay let's try let's try it open like this why am I so corny why does that little like that activate my nerd gland yo I don't know all right let's see now let's see if I got any notifications I can do my Peak okay look here's the peak display okay you see here's the peak display I can see my Facebook without actually unlocking it now if you had any Moto phones you already know and I can swipe up and take me right to my Facebook notifications okay let me not put anybody on blast okay anyway so far fresh out of the box I love the new build quality okay this got the the Frosted feel on the back okay I love the better buttons y'all think I'm exaggerating man look at the buttons on this y look how tiny these buttons was you my my my thumb basically covered both of the buttons okay so every time I I always had to try to feel Through The Ridges hit the power button okay now I can feel it opening Beau widgets okay calm down all right Guru calm down okay this one had the power button the uh fingerprint sens on the front it was just I this this one was I don't know this one the build quality is a lot better outer display just feels now this is one thing I wish Samsung would do all right Samsung y'all need to take notes instead of these little cheesy small displays like this you see all that waste of space this is how you do it okay look at all that big juicy juicy screen right there so I can do all kind of stuff this is my quick toggles okay exit out of that okay let meit okay first time I'm doing okay come all right all right there it is okay toggles let's go to dial p real quick make some phone calls bang just like that okay now I'm have to put my SIM card in and we'll try this out okay so far though there's a camera to get your selfie game on and of course okay again I can't stress this enough you don't have that plasticky feel you can't even see the fold line okay now they they right up there with Oppo with not being able to see the fold line I like that the price way better okay this was a Verizon exclusive at first for 1,600 bucks too goddamn High 1,00 bucks on this one that puts it right on par with the Galaxy but I think the Galaxy just has this one beat let me just see something real quick let's go to camera let's go to photos y don't need to see me I'm back here looking mad ugly let's go to photos Okay this one does have 10 times Zoom so you did have more zoom okay I think the Galaxy camera might be a little bit better but a moto the Moto does have the better outer display not to mention that sound okay now you can easily flip this with one hand and to close it just use this finger right here bang just like that now if you old school like me I will tell you the truth one of my alltime favorite phones from from ever since fondom I from fondom from the beginning of fondom one of my favorite phones was the Motorola starac okay now this one has that Motorola starac feel to it now if you don't know what the startech is just Google it remember had the little antenna if now all y old school y dinosaur cats if you old like me and you had a Motorola startech leave it in the comments but y'all remember how dope that felt when you flicked it open you having a conversation all right yeah okay all right I'm going to get up with you later all right later and you you just close it like that how dope is that I I love that this is one of those phones for me that's going to give me that nostalgic feeling and this is the perfect phone for if you already got a big boy phone so you got an iPhone 13 Pro Max maybe you got a Galaxy s22 Ultra 5 gangster Alpha omga Supreme and you want to have two phones all you want to be two phones of Mill cuty this is a nice secondary phone because you're going to play with it use it all that when you want to do your heavy artillery Brak out your big boy phone just got this phone right here in your front your front pocket while you working out okay look at that let's try that face unlock again let's see okay we'll leave it like this pick it up and look at it bang there's your face unlocked this is the perfect phone to take with you to the gym all it's not going to weigh your pants down and as big as this outer display is actually real quick now the case one of these little PL I thought that was kind of weird that they only put one part of the case okay this is the plastic case Okay the plastic case actually feels good on this one it is one of these uh fingerprint magnet so you're going to have to wipe it down okay let me go ahead and rank this fresh out of the box okay I love I I love having the fingerprint sensor on the side now instead of this garbage ass fingerprint sensor on the front Okay so now you can actually use the fingerprint sensor which you don't have to because you do got face unlock bong just like that now look I'm not going to touch I'm not going to touch nothingless okay there's a Face Unlock but the fingerprint sensor just works a lot faster on the side just like that and you got that nice clicky feel let me goad and rank this fresh out of the box on the scale of one 10 okay on a scale 1 to 10 the Moto 2020 straight garbage the Moto 2022 on the scale of 1 to 10 I'm going to give this one fresh out of the box a major go now I can already see some things that I don't like as far as customization far as always on display no Wireless charge no full water resistance you know there's a few things bucks now on a side note this is the Chinese version okay this is the shiing Ping exclusive when is the global release I don't know all right so let's go through the specs real quick now this one comes in one color black for the main display you got a 6.7 in ped panel with a resolution of 1080x 2400 that is 393 for the PPI Patrol you got Gorilla Glass 5 for protection you got a water repellent coating HDR 10 plus and a 144 HZ refresh rate now for the secondary display that one is a 2.7 in goed panel with a resolution of 573 by 800 as far as the ppis I don't know for the processor you got the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 plus Generation 1 with the adrenal 730 GPU now what does that mean in English Flagship specs bro Flagship specs now you got eight or 12 gigs of RAM 128 256 or 512 gigs of storage no micro SD card slot for expandable memory now it's running Android 12 with my UI 4.0 skin on top now for the battery you got a 3,500 mamp battery that features 33 3 wat fast charge for the cameras on the rear you got a dual setup so you got a 50 megapix wide angle and a 13 megapix Ultra wide and you can shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second on the front you got a 32 megapixel wide-angle lens and you can shoot video at 1080p 60 frames per second now you got dual stereo speakers Bluetooth Wi-Fi NFC and a side mounted fingerprint sensor all right so all of that for 1100 bucks what's missing no IP rating so the phone is not fully water resistant no Quad HD display no expandable memory no Wireless charge and no headphone jack that'sit whack # bars okay Birdman hands rubbing together let's get it on first things first shout out to White Shoes back in the building love I love my I love my calm down okay now whenever I get a new phone that's the predecessor from a previous phone the first thing I like to do is pull out the old phone and play with it for a couple of days and try to remember the things that I liked and the things that I didn't like now if y'all watch my full review for the motor Razer 20120 you know I absolutely hated this phone but this actually looks like an upgrade now just in case you haven't seen that video let's do a quick recap let's talk about everything that I didn't like from the motor Razer 2020 I motor Razer 2020 first of all the price remember this phone came out at 1,600 bucks now 2 years ago 1,600 bucks that's about the same as 2,000 bucks right now this phone was extremely overpriced next the build quality yall remember the plastic back it just feels like garbage okay I hated the plastic build next the mid-range specs remember this phone came out at Flagship prices but it was a mid-range phone you only had 6 gigs of RAM 128 gigs of storage and it had the Snapdragon 710 processor when all the other Flagship phones was in the Snapdragon 800s so this was a mid-range phone next the battery okay 2500 milliamps it was garbage I hit the battery on this phone was garbage next no dual speakers trash okay the camera absolute garbage no wide angle lens okay only had eight times zoom straight garbage okay okay remember the side buttons okay the little tiny flimsy side buttons whack okay the fingerprint sets on the front whack okay and the biggest thing remember this plastic display with that sound hold let me put it by the mic yall hear that sound every time you scroll you hear that plastic sound this phone was absolute garbage for the price now if it would have been 700 bucks I wouldn't have been complaining but for 1,600 bucks this was a big hell no hell no and after playing with it for a couple of days I remember exactly why I hated it introduce the 2020 I introducing the 2020 version now you got some upgrades okay this one does have glass build okay it does have Flagship specs you got a bigger battery better cameras side matter of fingerprint sensor dual stereo speakers this should be a real upgrade okay motor Razer 2022 as far as the presentation nice black box I know I like that giggity I will say this though the Box the presentation for the 2020 version was a little bit better okay it was a little bit nicer okay so inside this is going to be it's going to be a device now remember Chinese version okay I don't know when the global version is going to come out so right now we just got to rock with the uh shiing ping version okay so inside you got a little case okay I like to see that already okay Samsung Apple Google pay attention 33 wat fast charging Brick In The Box now 33 wat fast charging not the best in the world okay but give me the charge in the Box let's see what else you get okay now it should be usual books and pluck them and follow them some ejection tool nothing nothing really too fancy to see there and this is going to be USB type-c charging cable let's see this is USB a to USB type-c okay and that's pretty much it pretty much it okay so as as far as the case only for one side okay here we go okay now fresh out of the box I will say this y'all thought I was making a big deal okay with the uh plastic build on the 2020 version the build quality feels like night and day night and day now let's get the first flip okay okay let's open it up okay now it does have a nice locking into mechanism locking locking into place okay little flipology okay let's uh let's see the okay look now you got the side mounted fingerprint sensor okay now look at the buttons on the side again some people think I was being a being a dick but look at the buttons on this one on the 2020 you could barely feel these and has a little bit of ridges on your power button but it's hard to differentiate the two now you got a big juicy big juicy power button with the fingerprint sensor y'all remember how whack this fingerprint sensor front was that was trash okay now look at the display looks a little bit bigger looks a little bit bigger okay I'm already getting a little bit hype okay here we go okay now let's see okay now we don't have that plastic feel on the front Okay I like that already Let's uh swipe over okay now again I bought this one from giztop so it already came pre-installed with the uh Play Store we're going to have to log in and set all that stuff up but so far all right so far it's definitely feeling like an upgrade now it just feels wider I definitely feels wider as you can see you got more cameras the camera on this phone I can't stress this enough how much I hated this phone I just and not to mention on a side note this is the phone that I had in my pocket when I got covid okay this is the co phone right here this one is just garbage all this one is garbage I just kept it for the Nostalgia Factor you know cuz Moto razes very oh okay okay hold I'm sorry shoes hold up now was that sound oh okay okay now look come on man y'all Y y'all think I'll be exaggerating stuff remember when I just did my full review for the Z flip and I said it needs to have a sound when you open it has to have an open and closed sound it just and I got to be honest with y'all fresh out of the box I'm not going to say I love this phone but I will say I do like it way more than the 2020 version there's some upgrades that you're going to feel and notice immediately now the side note there was a back to this case okay I didn't see it in the box but you do have a full case now let's talk about the phone real quick just like the original once you move it you get your outer display now from the outer display let's go ahead and open it up bang look at the difference in the size of the outer displays pretty much about the same but it just feels bigger okay it feels bigger on the 2022 now you got the same functionality so if you swipe over this will activate your camera okay you can do videos also you swipe up there's all your notifications you swipe down here's your quick toggles okay everything on deck and if you swipe over you got your apps okay now little shortcuts right here so I got clock ready for which is Moto's version of Samsung decks got Gallery I can bring up a dial pad right here make some phone calls okay sync agenda you got your commute suggestions and you can manage your panels all right so this is all while the phone is closed but the biggest thing you'll use it for is swiping up and seeing your notifications I don't have any right now but swipe up there's your notifications and quick access to your camera okay let's get him powered back off and here's your sleep display okay now there's no always on display so once you touch the phone you get the grade out clock once you unlock it full clock now you do have face unlock also all right so speaking of Face Unlock couple of different ways you can open up the device you got fingerprint sensor okay look how fast that is you hear that little sound bang you got face unlock okay you see that I'm not going to touch nothing I'm just going to look at it bang that's quick okay and of course I love that sound when you got it open like this you can close it and leave it on the table unfold it okay there's your Peak display now we'll talk about that in a minute no always on display but you do got face unlock from the outer display bang There It Is and of course your fingerprint sensor Works flawlessly and if you want to let me use a different finger you can swipe up putting your pad in your PIN now another thing that you'll notice once you unfold it okay the display is actually wider okay a lot wider than the 2020 which makes it a lot easier to use now as far as the build quality this says glass it kind of feels like frosted glass it could be plastic I could be wrong but it doesn't have this cheapy this cheapy plastic even if even if this is plastic even though I read somewhere that is glass glass probably is glass this plastic right here was just trash it just has this it just has a little cheesy feel to it now with the 2022 it feels a lot more sturdy right definitely feels a lot more sturdy same thing when you unfold it I got to calm down when you unfold it nice sturdy hinge on this one and most importantly you don't have that plasticky feel I mean it's hard to explain if you never use this one listen again listen closely you hear that sound it just had like a plasticky sound to it when you unfolded it the hinge when you unfolded it when you when you unfold it the hinge doesn't feel as sturdy like it feels like you can you can almost fold it back while it's up you can defold it you can defold it let's see if you can defold this one okay you can if you really want to but it's not as easy okay oh I like that too and you could you can refold it takes a little bit I'm GNA have to break my wrist in it takes a little wrist action okay okay let's while we here let's go to the camera real quick now before I get to the camera let's Breeze through the OS okay so you swipe over now this is the Chinese version okay so you're not going to have your Google home your Google homepage but let's go to uh let's see you got Bluetooth NFC okay let's go to uh no need to go to apps notifications okay everything is there now I'm just checking to make sure we're not missing anything let's go to battery now one of my biggest gripes with the 2020 version the covid phone the battery was just garbage now you got a real upgrade in the battery this one was 2510 this one is 3500 milliamps so you got a basically an extra 1,000 milliamps that's huge okay that's huge okay so you do have battery saver Ultra battery okay we'll put this one to the test too I don't think the battery is going to be spectacular on this but it should be better than the co phone let's go to storage again one of my biggest gripes you only had 128 which for me is cool cuz I'm using this as a secondary device but if you're using this as your main phone now you got 256 or 5 112 that's real storage not to mention there's no expandable memory so you're going to need that not to mention this one also has more RAM okay remember 6 gigs of RAM 128 this was this was damn near a peasant phone okay this one right here now you got 8 gigs 128 or you could go 12 gigs 512 if you want to make it a big boy version okay sound and vibration now here's another thing check this out let's see if we can get some sound dual speakers all right dual speakers as opposed to one trashy speaker dual speakers we'll test them out in a minute okay let's see you got different ring tones okay you got your flip to open Sound now it would have been dope if you had a bunch of different sounds it looks like you only got one okay you got flip to silence flip for do not disturb you got your media controls okay let's go ahead and turn this on this way when you playing your your music you use the secondary display okay real nice let's go to display okay now this is Max brightness as far as the knage I'm not sure okay but it seems like a lot of knits seem like has a decent amount of knits on this one okay colors we going to leave it nice and saturated I like it a little bit cooler okay let's let's get and get it a little cooler okay let's see now you got 120 HZ we're going to leave it on auto but when you're gaming you can go all the way up to 144 Herz let's see auto rotate might as well leave that on flicker prevention lead that on full screen you got attentive display this way as long as you're looking at the display it'll stay on you got your Peak display now I'll test this when I do the full review because right now I don't have any notifications coming in but basically yall seen this before Peak display you just peek on it and it'll show you it'll show you uh it'll show you the uh the uh notification okay so nothing to really see here with the peak display three finger screenshots bong swipe for swipe for split screen Swip gesture ready for now I'll show you what ready for is it's basically Samsung Dex okay you can use your phone uh connected to a external monitor real nice okay you got Gmail on this okay I don't think I downloaded Gmail yet but these are you can see these are your Android 12 widgets okay real nice that sound that open and close I like that okay open and close sound Little Live Wallpaper right here again no always on display but with these small batteries you're not going to want always on display okay you're not going to want that you do have Peak display so if I get a notific ification I can just press on it and I can read the notification without actually unlocking it okay so let's take a look at the software real quick okay no thanks go to apple.com now let's get max volume that's max volume look at this are you kidding me look all right so you got the one single speaker which was trash now let's try to look at the difference you got sound coming at the top now it just sounds louder I can't stress how much I hated watching videos with this phone out of one bottom firing speaker it did sound okay but when you holding your phone like this okay and you covering up the bottom a little bit it just sounded horrible this one sounds way better the display is way wider let's see look at the difference okay let's get some full screen activity you could barely see that folder I got to give him credit you hold on me let me let me pause just for a second you got to give them credit you could barely see the folding line I like that let's see let's go to something white okay look at this you could barely see the fold now a fold is right in the middle right there you could barely see it all right now look yall know my model you're only as good as your last phone if this was your last your last foldable phone this was garbage I this was garbage shout out to moto they made the necessary adjustments okay this is a uh this is a viable folding device Now is it going to be able to beat something like this is it going to be able to beat the Samsung the Z flip I doubt it I I highly doubt it but we'll put it to the test now real quick let's take it feels now this is one thing I wish Samsung would do all right Samsung y'all need to take notes instead of these little cheesy small displays like this you see all that waste of space this is how you with not being able to see the fold line I like that the price way better okay this was a Verizon exclusive at first for 1,600 bucks too goddamn High 1,00 bucks on this one that puts it right on par to photos Okay this one does have 10 times Zoom so you did have more zoom okay I think the Galaxy camera might be a little bit better but a moto the Moto does have the better outer display not to alltime favorite phones from from ever since fondom I from fondom from the beginning of fondom one of my favorite phones was the Motorola starac okay now this one has that Motorola starac feel to it now if you don't know what the startech is just Google it remember had the little antenna if now all y old school y dinosaur cats if you old like me and you had a Motorola startech leave it in the
