The Art of Cooking with Chaos: A Kitchen Experiment Gone Wild

As I stood in front of the stove, trying to cook what was supposed to be a simple dish, my mind began to wander. The problem was, my brain had other plans. "I'm not the comment if he's doing something right," I said to myself, questioning my own cooking skills. My thoughts were interrupted by a voice in my head, "Yeah so does that mean I'm doing it right?" It seemed like I wasn't the only one with kitchen anxiety.

As I continued to chop and sauté, my stress levels increased. "Hell yeah I made the red ones a little bit bigger for you will be nice and undercooked going to start the meat," I muttered to myself. This was where things started to get stressful. I knew that getting it right was crucial. "You know come on you know me I like that's not killing your stove cat I don't know what cooks faster onions or peppers how many onions two or three?" The uncertainty was overwhelming.

I looked down at the onion and my heart sank. "This a bad onion is that normal I've never had onion like that cut it in half what the heck is that that's normal no that's is it bad should I abandon yeah I mean it's got parts are good but you got plenty of on we yeah we'll can do another this is where I never know what to do." It seemed like every step of the cooking process was a mystery.

I decided to cut the onion in half, not knowing if I was doing it right. "Don't cut it like an apple so then I cut it like this and then from there this is where I also don't know what to do see and then some sometimes I'll just do like this and I'll cut it like a pizza but that's not right either this is just start chopping yep that's what I'm talking about this is when I make a mess." The chopping process was a blur of confusion.

As the cooking continued, so did my anxiety. "Someone talks to me when I'm in the middle of doing something and my brain just goes all right onion I get an F minus everything else I think I did good right well I mean you get the same results but there's an easier way than what you're doing right now is it y I do it like this but I hold it together then you turn it this way and you do it this and it comes out like that yeah that's a lot smarter." It seemed like I needed some guidance.

I took a moment to reflect on my cooking method. "Usually I cut it with a knife I used said to just take a bite so damn that cooks so fast I definitely messed up usually I put it on at the same time as vegetables but I was too worried about filming I think." It seemed like I had made some rookie mistakes.

As the pan started to sizzle, my doubts resurfaced. "See this is my problem I feel like this pan is going to be too big should I take the meat out and then cook the onions in there and cook the ve the things in here you have you see you see my problem onions oh so you put the onions in here okay and then the meat you're taking all the juice out no no I'm going to leave I'm going to leave the juice in but if I do it in one pan yeah well I was going to I was going to do that cuz I don't want to overcook the meat." The pan seemed like a ticking time bomb, waiting to unleash chaos.

The pressure was building, and my nerves were on edge. "I wish yeah I don't know how it works but it's ridiculous it just the whole whole pan just starts bubbling um so you got 11 minutes on this I forgot to Salt the water put some corn in there I love me some corn or you know they have beef broth mhm add a little beef broth oh is it ruined or is it going to be okay it's not ruined just going to have to back up back up someone opened the middle what's wrong it's going to be okay yeah I just have to rinse it once it's done it's going to be the saltiest noodles in the world then no one believed me that I was actually going to cook in this kitchen even myself here you are here I am oh what what are we doing with all this juice why is it where'd you get that it's just water oh I added to the pan because it was burnt if you put water in it and sit it back on the stove it makes it easier to clean it so you're not sitting there scrubbing it to that tips and tricks with Mom yeah when you build a lot of cars you learn tips about fixing them you know forgot about the best part turn this up just a little well what good is that this is going to be done by the time the fan comes all the way up all right we're uh we're done I I need you to to try a bite it."

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the dish was ready. As I took my first bite, I couldn't help but think about how chaotic the cooking process had been. "I'm not sure if this is good or bad," I said, looking at the noodles on my plate. The verdict was still out.

The Art of Cooking with Chaos has come to an end. While it may seem like a wild ride, there's always room for improvement. And who knows? Maybe next time will be better.

dated and Antiquated single bedroom home here at the compound technically we've already been moved in for almost half a year now but we've been on the road pretty much that entire time so we still haven't 100% moved in but we've like I would say like 70% it's enough now where I feel like it's okay to make the video and now if you guys didn't see any of the videos or you don't know Matt from obsess garage it may sound weird that we worked with the garage company on a home the idea is the obsession doesn't stop at the garage it doesn't stop with detailing cars it carries itself all the way into the place that you live here's the thing though I don't have any experience when it comes to Home Products I hate the idea of buying things renovating and then regretting it because I really don't know what I'm doing so I leaned on Matt's expertise both as a homeowner and someone who obsesses over the little details and products and things that we'll show you throughout our home so all right so we're going to start in the kitchen which is where we spend I would say most of our time if we're actually home technically speaking we don't cook and I know that was the joke of us building this beautiful kitchen and uh hey hey we cook is Colette classifies cooking as an oven pizza going in you did cook no you did cook the other she did cook say the man who got fresh Crunch Wrap Supremes made from scratch and this happened after I criticized her because she said that cooking was putting a frozen pizza in the oven now we're very busy neither of us really cook however she has some cooking skills and recently I've developed it's the ability to cook meat okay and I'm very proud of it and we may even experiment with this process later in the video um if you know anything about cooking you'll probably get a couple laughs from that yeah so I I love this kitchen I think obsessed garage did such a good job with finding a good balance between like the modern look that I wanted that would remind me of being more like downtown LA or New York City and bringing that into the swamp while still making it very functional with good products that Adam like um this sink is something I know a lot of people were obsessing over it's the craziest looking sink I've ever seen and I love it it looks really cool and it it does sink things I'm stoked that we we have drinking water now the fact that we can drink water from this and I don't need to Lug those like 55 they not 55 gallons I don't need I don't I don't need to Lug those like giant barrels of water over here every time I want to make pasta and like like that was legit what we were doing so that's that's sick yeah we can't drink the water out here it's very or it's it's not good to drink unless it goes through a lot of filtration so that's another thing that Matt took care of was like the triple filtration on the entire house which is awesome you might be wondering how organized are we still uh I'm like scared to open it because I didn't check that we cleaned the house before we made this video but I didn't go through the drawers um so these amazing drawer systems that hold all the silverware all the utensils and everything Matt does sell on the obsess garage site I'm sure he's going to criticize me for you know the spoons got little spoons with the little spoons it's exposing us like that come on this is an important piece like these are really cool and they look very nice and the organizers are available on the obsessed garage site and so is one of the biggest transformations to this home and my personal biggest complaint and that was with the lighting so we went from a house that was extremely dim that would make you sleepy and not really want to spend any time uh into something that feels like we are just in a comfortable home Abode with plenty of lighting it's really hard to explain or to show in video but the quality and the clarity of the lighting makes a very big difference uh the best way I could explain it to you is like if you're staring like in an office at a light for a while like you can almost get fatigued because it's like let's just say the lighting is really dialed and that's something that a lot of people Overlook and I have bought many light bulbs and like experimented with things in my other home before and was just never really happy this is amazing this is my favorite place we use this every day and oh this is new it's our new decoration now but this is the coffee Tea Bar we have the ice maker here dialed yeah this is that was one of Matt's favorites right yeah got the crunchy eyes got the wine cooler and yeah we're really big on coffee and tea every day we got his fancy to titanium mugs shout out samit for helping me Source these I I kind of want to go into a little bit more of like the personal side in this video too rather than just like showing the stuff the things that we use there's a lot of like little weird things that maybe you guys might want to try like as an example uh one of my favorite coffees actually just these little UCC um pourover coffee things from Japan you can get them on Amazon I'll put a link in the description I think Chrissy showed us these yes yeah we we had them at Chrissy's house the first time and then have just been obsessed ever since we're not really big wine drinkers but we have been using the wine fridge uh my sister um had me try this bottle before at her house and I was like wow this is one of the only wines I ever tried that I like so on a very special occasion maybe sometime we crack open a bottle yeah all right that's that's the if forever home because we're not we we cracked it open yeah the fridge amazingly l lar show do not show them the freezer the freezer is oh it's so bad it is I just want to show that we're utilizing all of the space Colette got a subscription to a smoothie place that I obviously haven't been using guys DM me if you're interested in some smoothies we got about 400 to sell actually I could go for Smoothie right now if I'm saying you know that would be tight um yeah but we've honestly used this kitchen a lot more than I would have ever thought having all the space and countertop to put things on and stuff when we get home from the supermarket that we go to once every 3 months Colette loves working here at this table kind of the idea was to be able to set it up and be able to you know work on your computer have something on the TV I do want to see if I can find a solution maybe it's like putting feet underneath the table to lift it up or somehow modifying this to go lower but for me because I'm so tall it's a little bit like low and awkward for me but I think just like putting some feed on the bottom will probably solve that yeah it's even a little low for me so I can't imagine how it feels for you you got to think too like we went to a custom furniture store in Georgia specked out a table for a kitchen that wasn't even built yet so a lot of little things like that kind of come with without saying Tak me I don't know if he's going to be in this video or not I don't know if you guys have met our cat T me before but um he has definitely uh left his Mark in a few things in our new home honestly not having a cat before though I was terrified that he was just going to destroy this house like I just pictured him like clawing at the TV my guitar amps just destroying everything so if that's that's it I can live with it he almost did claw the TV but it was because we were playing a cat movie for him butterflies on the TV yeah there was like you're trigger in the cat but I was like oh he has to watch something but then he was watching it too intently and he was about to attack so don't play uh cat movies for your cats if you don't in the house we have we have not only indoor chickens we have outdoor chicken they're not even there right now we'll do we'll we'll do a quick outdoor tour uh I think Colette talked about wanting chickens when we were renovating the house um but we didn't officially have any yet so you want to explain what these are well yeah we have chickens now we have we have 18 chickens sounds so ridiculous or 21 we have like 20 something chickens possibly maybe 18 um but we originally got chickens they're silky chickens we made them a little area outside here which I love because we can see them throughout this glass I don't know where they all are right now usually they're hanging out this glass was new by the way too which is very nice this is like transformed this part of the house too but uh I happened to go to Asia for about a month and Adam decided to not pick up eggs every day and then a couple hens decided they wanted to hatch eggs so now we have these guys now we have the cutest little fluffy babies so these are our newest babies and the newest uh addition to the house with our little feature here they're look them they're like 2 and 1/2 weeks old 3 weeks old I like the little ones because they don't really poop that big the big ones they just have like liquid poop no they don't they don't anymore he's traumatized as they used to like poop that that was a while ago that was a long time ago I don't think we've named any of these guys yet have we no not yet comment Bel hey hey not food friends so when this one hatched I freaked out because I've always wanted this color these are silky chickens by the way silky chickens and they're fluffy and the cutest thing ever and this one is a special color called lavender and she's so cute and then we have another really cute one that's going to look really funny cuz I think I think feathers calm down there we go U I think its type of feathers that it has are going to be like really crazy called a Frizzle silky so this one's going to look really funky when it's older but they're only going to be in here for a little while longer they're obviously they've grown so much so they're going to outgrow this in probably like the next week but for now they're an indoor feature one thing that we were on the fence about when we were doing the renovation was redoing these doors and this glass cuz it was a huge expense that kind of added on to a budget that we had already blown um but it is really nice before it had all like the tiles and cross-hatching but this is let a lot more light in the house um they also close and lock where our other ones really didn't and it was super annoying but uh definitely opened up the kitchen and giv us a lot more natural light um I don't know if this ever got shown in video cuz I think this was like one of the last things that got added and it might have been after Matt's last video but it's super cool little like grid wall that kind of like creates separation between this little area where you sit down and take your shoes off and then delivering them over here which we'll get to in a minute um but we'll go upstairs first this house is technically a one bedroom but there is a loft upstairs which is Handy uh we've had what maybe two or three people stay here few people it's yeah in the winter more people come to Florida in the summer no one really wants to be here cuz it's too hot but upstairs honestly I think is probably one of my favorite parts of the house we did the gate that way the dogs um can't get up here because it's carpet watch rally she's going to lose her mind your favorite thing look R Carpet Car I need you're so f fast you're so fast on carpet go this is one of my favorite bathrooms in the house I don't know why it's just super cool with all the different tiles and stuff um still looks exactly like it did when we did the home renovation but and that was last minute that bathroom wasn't even supposed to get renovated minut like plus do it imagine if we did the entire house and just left that one bathroom looking all old and dated oh my God yeah this looks sick though it's cool little area up here um this was new I think post video this little like uh cupboard thing yeah it doesn't open so wait no it does open it doesn't lock it does yeah but you can't open it cuz there's a lamp on it and then over here we accidentally got this table so this was supposed to be Colette's vanity table for the bedroom and then we unboxed it and it was like way bigger than we remembered um and it worked out perfectly because I got her a bunch of DJ equipment for was it your birthday or Christmas well it's basically the same it's two days after Christmas so one of one of the two yeah which obviously I haven't set up yet but eventually I'll have monitors up here and doing music production or like making music is something I've wanted to do for years now so now I have an area to figure it out I I am like obsessed with music and it's it's weird because it's always been something that's been a part of my life but not something that I've had a lot of time for so like I played guitar when I was really young I never really did like this type of mixing music but I was around friends that did so I like kind of understand it somewhat and um when she got this all set up that kind of gave me the motivation to be like oh I should really start getting into playing guitar again which I'll show you in a minute I got like a cool little guitar SE down there look at look how cool this this is a space imagine you're you're a DJ or whatever you call a producer and you're just it looks so bad right now so don't look at too closely she's got super legit stuff too this is shout out my buddy Aiden who helped me make sure I get her all the good cool stuff and then if I need someone to actually like play things on a guitar I call I call I call him in call this guy so I don't have to learn how to play the guitar to make beats or music this is a good example though this is kind of like the same idea with the house right like I wanted to get her DJ equipment but I didn't want to get get her junk that I was going to then have to replace later because it wasn't the right thing so much like we did with the house with Matt froms garage I rang up my buddy Aiden who used to do this for a living and he just told me all right buy this stuff this is really good and she'll never need any other stuff again and similar story with guitar stuff once we get down there but let's let's go to the living room oh wait but if if anyone watching these videos is into music production or has good resources or know like a good place for me to start comment below because I'm still very much overwhelmed like I don't want to spend too much time learning how to make a single sound and then like create a hole song that way I know there's lots of stems and resources you can use so yeah I think Aiden used to use fro Loops Fruity Loops have you heard of that no yeah it's a cereal you eat wait what TV super dialed um we definitely watch it sounds like you've never used a TV no no no we we've used it we've definitely not as much as most people probably would um but it's pretty dialed I I love the fact that we have two of these things cuz you can kind of like sit on it from like this way you can sit it from this way or you can sit it from this way or you can lay down this is the puppy's favorite part of the house up yeah they just hang out here with us occasionally we'll eat food in here but usually we eat at the table um I'm very terrified of anything that's white so uh you know but this is good because it's it's like textured you know so it's not like you're super worried about it staining or the dog hair being visible just blend in that's what we want you know a nice blend so this house uh it's it's interesting because Matt helped us not cheap out on a lot of like the really important things like audio equipment and TVs and the things where I will really appreciate the quality but then certain things we were able to really do on a budget so like the cabinets as an example we found a budget solution that still has like an amazing look with the the European style uh the couches we had customade instead of going to like one of the Box retailers that charges an arm and a leg for all like the fancy bougie Furniture um and it's still comfortable and it's worked great and it kept us closer to our budget that we tried not to exceed Furnishing budget the furniture was then the house the house build budget was way over but the furniture was like 1 of the budget yeah it was crazy I think we furnished the whole house for like 25 Grand or something M like wild this little area we don't really use but it looks cool and neat with the lamp and stuff this area has just recently been my uh completed guitar corner so this is actually where the guitar Obsession started I shouldn't say started because I played when I was really young but then I stopped playing for a while um but I think it was in May I'm a really really big Tim Henson fan and I wanted more than anything to learn how to play playing God it was like a unrealistic challenge that I didn't think I'd ever be able to so I was like I'm just going to keep trying and trying and trying and see if I can get any worth it so I got his signature nylon guitar um the idea behind it for me was like I don't really need an amp because it still kind of makes almost acoustic noise and it's easy to pick up and play and bring plac so I did that for a little while I would say it's not until I got this amp that I started really playing even more so Colette got me this guitar right here which is one of my favorite guitars of all time um I think this was this Christmas or this is a this is a baller Christmas present so this is an American Deluxe Stratocaster with noisess pickups and I got this guitar and I think it was 2 years ago actually it was when we had the old house I hated how it sounded I always wanted a straat because Matt my guitar friend who kind of introduced back into playing guitar like this is I I don't want to spend too much time on this story but it's something I'm really passionate about um he was just a random subscriber and he just started dropping off like random guitar stuff for me to try he lent me his Stratocaster I loved how it sounded so I wanted one I got the nicest one and they just never really sounded right turns out I just had an amp that didn't sound good with it so when I got this orange amp it made me fall in love with this guitar it's got the coolest sound to it um I don't want to make this a guitar video but I'll play like a couple really short things just in case you're into it you might already be sick from hearing and stuff on my stories but this amp is like a really cool like kind of like grungy but also like Smooth tone so um it sounds really good Strat just kind of have like a really like twangy sound and this guitar and this amp combo kind of led me down the path from trying to play like the pfia Tim Henson style stuff on that to starting to learn how to play like movement style Citizen and stuff that I listen to a lot of but I've never really been able to achieve the tone but I feel like this is kind of the combo that gives me that Sound and to be able to play a sound like you like how it sounds sound is like the coolest thing so um this isn't a song but it's similar to a lot of the stuff that I'll play on this Not Great by any means but I'm I'm very proud of some of the stuff that I'd be able to accomplish of just like playing again for a short period of time but this thing sounds beautiful one other guitar that I'll play on this am and I feel like I need to show you the stand real quick because this is like a pretty cool piece I actually ordered this off Etsy from Austria and was able to get it made in the same like wood tones that we have in the rest of the living room and even got like a custom lzmfg logo in it I want stuff to look nice in the house and look like it has a place like even this guitar looks cool this stand that I got I think I got off Etsy 2 just a nice like little wooden piece um but this guitar I have to give a big big big shout out to my buddy I call him guitar Matt he's the the same fan again and he's kind of been my obsessed Garage in the Guitar World of helping me pick all the right things as I get more into it so this guitar right here this is the Tim Henson signature electric guitar and I wanted to build a custom guitar to look like the E36 so this is painted Maritime blue uh by Josh and Ray these are custom demarzio pink pickups um he also obviously put better strings on it we printed an ianz sticker put it underneath the clear um and he also did a custom wiring job on it to get this thing to have all these cool tones so the best way that I can describe this guitar is it can kind of accomplish some of the same things as the Strat in terms of that kind of like twangy sound um but then it also can like play metal too so it's pretty versatile but I like it with this amp the most it's cool like kind of bluesy twangy but you can also play like some more of the metal stuff again I don't want to bore you too much with too much guitar things this has honestly saved me from spend spending a lot of money on cars because now I just obsess on Marketplace looking for deals on guitars this one is actually supposed to be for a another custom paint job I'm going to send this out to pbk and just do like a cool custom painted Strat this guitar is actually one that Matt lent to me that's a not a very expensive ianz but is turned out to be one of my favorites to play I don't know why it just sometimes a guitar just like speaks to you and this guitar has made me really stoked because it's been able to allow me to start to play the other types of music that I listen to which is more like currents era like way heavier stuff but I could never get the tone that I wanted so again Matt helped me and steered me in the direction of getting this my first tube head it's tiny but it's the most ridiculous tiny little head that I've ever heard and it gives the sickest tones imaginable and that's like not even half of the actual speed that that's supposed to be played at but I'm so proud of being able to create those noises finally for once in my life cuz all I ever knew how to play was like Avenge Sevenfold and that doesn't sound heavy and then this escalated even further cuz then with heavy music you're like oh let's just keep tuning lower and lower and lower so I'll show you my latest pickup this is a Hellraiser uh C7 so this was my first seven string guitar but I could never really get it to sound right cuz the sustain a pickups and then this was my first really nice guitar that I got probably back when I was like 13 that's a Sinister Gates custom this is my new pickup this is a Prestige ibz s string I'm not going to lie I'm not super sold on it I got it for a pretty good deal and I'm considering trading it or moving into something else I just can't get it to sound right tune down really low it sounds good in a but any lower than drop a and it just starts to kind of sound muddy probably the most technical thing that I've ever tried and I'll see if I can make it sound decent enough to put in a YouTube video with a lot of people watching that's probably like 80 to 85% of the speed that it's supposed to be played at but even the fact that I can make it sound like the songs that I like listening to Beyond stoked that's enough guitar talk let's continue the house tour we got a lot of exciting surprises for you left in this video including a very special guest that may or may not be doing drifting that she has no idea that she might be doing drifting who's never drifted before and also may be the person who conceived me that's how you say it right conceived yeah okay I have one more guitar that was honestly so the I kind of lied I played guitar a little bit for like a random spurt in like 2019 2018 and it was cuz I got my first acoustic guitar this tailor is literally the most magical sounding guitar on planet Earth I can play one open chord and I feel like I just know I just know so like just sounds beautiful and like just like twinkly this is my favorite guitar I've ever played in the world and zero regrets of buying this thing um okay now we're back to house tour here buddy you got to he's going to try and you got to firmly hold him look who decided to join us for the next part of the tour this is our wild Takami who is very scared of Michael because he's a scaredy cat but he is the craziest Kitty ever and We rescued him from a family that found him on the side of the road that couldn't keep him and he showed up in a yellow Mustang so that's why we call him Takami that's not why we call him taky why do we call him taky this is your idea you better know I do know well cuz he's black and white and Adam was like what the name that has to do with black and white I like we're not calling him Panda I'm sorry Drawing the Line not Panda but then but then who drives a panda who drives a panda and we thought Initial D then who drives them talk me Tumi and now we have takumi and he's crazy and he's a cool cat though he's he is a little confused you guess he was raised with dogs and chickens at the same time so we'll find him outside just lounging in the chicken CP or like watching them and then also he tried barking when he was little yeah he's cool he's just scared of anyone in camera and Camera creepy cameraman do bring that back he's scared at creepy cameraman but he's around here you'll notice there's a theme of this this dark wood in the house this is his favorite toy he loves scratching this we put a little nip in here before it gets him you know feeling it just chills and moving back in the house this thing that I was never really crazy about still not really crazy about it but I guess it looks cool fills the space nice look at that face it was really expensive compared to all the furniture we got compared to our budget yes it was a bit part of the budget that we are way under that's a set of tees right here damn yeah it was an expensive piece yeah that's what I was thinking about when we were buying it I'm like I just got a whole couch set for the price of this cabinet but it looks cool I'll give you that Kay you got to explain this thing you call it my My Space Capsule your scuba suit yeah so this is my hyper barit chamber that sounded really annoying that was really that was really annoying it's what all the kids are doing nowadays this is my hyper Barett chamber that I have really not used that much and I suck and I need to use it more had a few concussions and Monster Jam and really the only way that you can heal from concussions is by doing like hyper bar chamber stuff and I was like there's no way I'm going to do it if I got to go somewhere we'd have to drive an hour then you wait an hour to two hours and drive an hour B I'm like never didn't happen and in order for it to be effective you have to do it all the time so I actually found a company where I could rent it much cheaper than trying to buy one and I'm supposed to be doing it every day and I need to get better at it but that is why this contraption is here I'm supposed to be hyper Barett chambering and this is Taki's fancy litter box that he doesn't use anymore he uses sometimes he he's turned into an an outdoor Kitty once he discovered outside because he's never been outside before he just craves outside all the time and then I noticed he doesn't really go through litter anymore so I assume he's doing his thing out there cuz I haven't found anywhere else no he he goes to the bathroom in the chicken toop I caught him one day and I was like what is he doing mes it's like litter maybe he's never had an accident not once the day after we got him um Cuz We rescued him he was like a week and a half I taught him how to use a litter box and has never had an accident so shout out cats pretty cool check out his bathroom it's bathroom it looks good now I like this bathroom it um it does the job you want to show us how it works I think I think most of the people watching this video could probably get an understanding but there's probably a small percentage of them that don't so you want to show them how it works it's a great bathroom I like that this reminds me of the about this room this is the pet room so Takami eats his food on the counter so that way the dogs don't eat it because they used to like his cat food and I don't think it's really good for him so he jumps up here and then the dogs eat their food on the floor they have these fancy little things so it slows them down eating and we used to have a whole forest in here but I think it died um oh yeah we were growing our own vegetables and lettuce and things like that it didn't die we just have to get new ones it went through its growth cycle I think we forgot to water it it Waters itself that was the whole point yeah we're really into U what what do you call it uh self-sufficient automation yeah really automated food yeah you got chickens over there eggs for you automated uh cat litter yep speaking of automated you to eat that this washes the clothes and this dries the clothes that's insane um it's so crazy what okay I think hands down this is going to be so silly because this is the mo the least obsessed garage thing of this entire house the favorite thing I of the entire process for me having these speakers in every room they all connect to one app and I'm able to just play music when I'm in my closet when I'm packing in here for a trip which is 90% of the time when I'm in the shower wherever you are in the house there's an amazing sound system if it takes advantage of the home theater if it takes advantage of these little speakers the bigger ones are all linked together and it's sick uh washer and dryer um it certainly is a Speed Queen washes and dries pretty fast bathroom sick really good lighting before it was dim and it had black mold so that sucked yeah the black mold part was not cool every night we were like God my eyes really burn after every single shower like for the rest of the night and we were doing that for like what Cofe half a year yeah maybe a year not really funny yeah but now we have a beautiful bathroom all the tile everything I absolutely love my little Japanese soaking tub it was the best decision ever and it fits in the space really well and it's one of my favorite features not going to lie I thought that she would get over it like within first month I think thought she'd be like I wish I got a normal bath where I could lay down and this is silly and stupid but she actually does love it yeah it's so nice I don't fit in it so I will never use it however the shower is great um it's got a lot of water comes down from above I don't really this is the first time doing this like if this was a car it'd be really easy for me to be like yeah you know like Power Band feels like this is real linear but I'm like same same uh company that did the crazy water stone the water all the water stone stuff is Gangster I love feeling the little neurals and I I really appreciate nice machine work so when I have something that's like nicely machined I geek out over it and even the the shower like whole contraction in the knobs yeah that's like a full I think it started off like a full Billet piece the piece and then everything was like machined down was pretty cool but uh yeah I mean for the most part we're able to keep this place pretty clean I think it's because it's it is such a small house being one bedroom I don't know what the square footage is but I think it's like 1500 square ft or something not insane um it's pretty easy to keep it clean the problem is we just have so much stuff from the old house and from the other house that uh the garage is still literally just a storage unit and there's nowhere to hide stuff hiding stuff and also like every time we're home we're like we're home suitcase here close here like we're never here usually long enough to fully do things without rushing so that's a big part of the problem has the internet ever seen this this is like the cutest most adorable thing that anyone's ever done for me Colette made this for me um I think this was was this Christmas or was this a birthday present I don't know it was like the irony year of the flame they didn't even know what was coming was that really yeah rude but look at this can I I don't even can I show the stuff is it okay yeah I think so it's appropriate look isn't appropr this is this is like the story of our whole relationship and when she almost burned on my car and then the evos and then when she almost burned down my car again oh did burn down my car that was the only time I just kidding and then it going Bara and then us being cute and drifting and her first drift car that I convinced her to get like all the the blue E36 that then won FD wait did I no it only Podium it hasn't won a round yet right Podium yeah it will win around oh the rig mhm remember the old toter you wish we had that now this is the coolest thing isn't it look at all her little artwork and everything clutch kickers that's my favorite photo I love that one hell yeah my dog that's my dog right there so moving on uh so the last section of the house before we get on our special Adventure this is the dog bed yep as you can tell they are king and queen of the bed oh probably one of the biggest transformations of this house um is the entire obsess garage closet solution so all these cabinets all the hangers everything is a bring child of cess garage and is available on their site um if you haven't seen the videos from the home renovation I'm going to put links in the description as well as all the products and stuff that we talk about in this video we went from essentially fighting over a space this big to now having an entire room where we knock down the wall and all this crazy organization um so we're able to fit a ton of clothes uh do you want to show your side first you want me to show my side first we're just going to do a little quick brisk walk through my side cuz my side's not it's not organized at the moment oh wait speed tour what's that speed tour closet mirror of more shoes it's de all the colors all the sparkle all the it's de deir it's de you're so funny I know they so cute and then here my vanity my door that won't shut speed tour miror Mir now uh Adam side Adam side all right there you go so if you're a big shoe guy I'm not a big shoe guy but these are I'll say tied with the coolest pair of shoes that I have Colette made these for me they're coffee stained fade hand painted beautiful Custom lzmfg Air Jordans pretty sick I haven't worn them yet because I'm terrified of messing them up I might have actually worn them once they smell like coffee you smell them smell it smells like coffee they do isn't that crazy um so that's really cool uh other notable things um hold up he's I'm not a shoe dye please please come in what are these what are those but he has more shoes than me I do but this is not like a a shoe guy this is just someone that really likes Vans yeah so I found a shoe that I like and I like to have clean versions of that shoe and they come out with colors that are limited edition these are shout out Kyle Walker he's a skateboarder and he just picked a really good signature shoe and I love them for riding BMX to still wear them to this day I've got a lot of different colors and yeah that's that's my thing um I love those shoes they're good shoes we'll we'll do a quick little tour of some of the things you guys probably never see me in videos cuz I'm always wearing lzmfg gear I do own other pieces of clothing quite honestly I'll usually just wear like a nice unbranded t-shirt if we're going on a date or dinner um but she did convince me to buy a fancy shirt one time that I wore once right it's such a statement that I've worn it once because I feel weird wearing it show the people more yeah but I like I like more stuff like this so like Colette got me this shirt and I really like it cuz it has languages on it and I travel a lot so it makes me you know feel authentic I never worn this but I thought this was cool it's like a you know Polo if I ever go golfing this is what I'm going to wear um yo yo show the strawberry shirt no I got some cool stuff in here this is this is the what why did I buy this I got this is my one of the only nice jackets I ever got it's from um All Saints I could just put this over anything that I'm wearing and instantly makes it look nicer I think I was in Vegas and I was underdressed for something and I bought this in the hotel that I was at and it turned into one of the favorite things I ever prove it put it on right now prove it yeah check it out ready and it's so comfy mhm and I can fold it and I can put in my suitcase never gets crinkled yeah for me All Saints very good oh are you a big All Saints guy yeah hey we're only allowed to talk about lzmfg clothing in this video so these shirts I like sometimes button- down shirts and stuff I like them when they're stretchy because I'm blanky and I never really fit right and stuff and I got some cool sweaters and stuff trying to think like what my favorite sweater is I don't know I really like this one it's got a little like palm trees on it MH so I think that's cool this is all my non-branded stuff this jacket probably one of the coolest jackets I've never worn check it out sick right got the fade TRD colors I really like old like vintage racing jackets but I never wear them cuz they don't really fit me right like I got this sweet old logo Nismo one they're always just too short on me yeah Colette's got me some really cool like old Mustang jackets check out that one and then over here we have can you imagine what you see me wear in every single video ever an array of beautiful black t-shirts so go through here try do I have any unreleased oh yeah this is unreleased this uh I don't know when we're going to release it it's a very cool unreleased R32 GTR shirt maybe maybe in a while actually I don't know yeah that's a good time sick so the the problem with the shirt was We were supposed to do a California trip and drive and take this photo in real life and then I don't know why I think I just got too busy cuz I just comp compete and drifting all the time so I never did it so I was like we're not launching the shirt until I can recreate this photo in real life see the thing is with like art and trying to get like a photo and a design made you have to do it before the thing actually happens if you want it to be relevant comment below if you want it without it having happen in real life which is totally fine don't do that because we're not prepared to launch it anytime soon but maybe with enough comments actually actually we are going to soft launch it at Irwindale so at Irwindale if you're there we're going to have a small batch of them then we'll probably release whatever we have left on the website um because I'll have my R32 GTR there and hopefully I'll be able to recreate that photo before Irwindale now that's pretty much it for the house tour but I told you guys half jokingly but also half seriously that I need to show you guys my new cooking skills so U my mom's actually here today because uh we were helping her fix her Jeep and she brought her Solstice here so I'm going to tell my mom if she does some donuts and her Solstice and she's never done a donut before in her life I'm going to cook her dinner I'm going to cook either way but she doesn't know that but uh yeah well I'm going to do a cooking demo to close out the video and you guys can judge my cooking skills dialing this house in uh working with Matt at obsess garage and of course the whole obsess garage team absolute pleasure I'm extremely extremely thankful they were able to accomplish what would have taken anyone else probably 10 times the amount of time and we're able to turn our home into something that actually feels like ours with all the modern bits and nannies and things and cool stuff just very very appreciative to have been able to have this place transformed and we're both super thankful and it's always cool to see Matt follow his passions as it's gone from detailing to garage to home and who knows what's next we forgot to show you guys the outdoor chicken coup this is technically a porch but it's also where the little chickies hang out that's my favorite dude right there comes up for his little cheat his favorite of the little balls I don't know what they are but he finds them somehow without all even really looking at him they like uh watermelon too did we name him just big dude yeah I named that guy fog light because he was yellow when he was a little baby they all look at all of them it's a whole chicken Paradise they love I'm expanding it into the back half so we'll be able to see them from the living room and have open the window and feed them and stuff from inside uh but for now this is their area they're really really cute Colette got these ones after the fact because she wasn't happy with the egg production that we had going on so these are like the egg machines but they're way more like feral and um less like friends than These Guys these guys will hang out and they'll like those guys are just like little Velociraptors yeah so these are silky chickens and then the two with the smooth feathers are still silkies technically just like satin silkies and then those are Tractor Supply chicks Tractor Supply Tractor Supply and Adam doesn't like them as much because they don't really come and say hey to us and they're not as like cute but they're supposed to be making like the big brown eggs one every day and there's four of them they just haven't started laying eggs yet we'll see how that goes this is my little girl I just gave her a bath but she looks dirty again look what we have an egg oh my gosh wow wow this is what it's for it's an egg Farm all this for a little silty egg actually this must have be this is from the bigger gray one back there because this is bigger than the normally are normally they're even smaller yeah hey stop yeah that's a new thing that I never knew happened chickens literally just each other all the time it's pretty messed up we had to give two up um no three we rehomed three to Big Boost Alberto because he has like 40 on his property and has like a whole yeah whole a whole bunch of them so we we our ratio was very off we we had the epitome of a sausage fest when it came to chickens we had like two girls and like eight dudes and it was bad we yeah already I'm like it's tough to keep the guys cuz they're like aggressive but right now we have a good mixture everyone gets along for the most part we only have three girls and I'm just hoping our chicks there's more girls we'll figure it out if not but yeah we have three that went on to be with Alberto and they just they're so cute they're like a little gang like the Three Musketeers they only stay with each other and they just walk around his property and go into his shop all the time so the pool finally works I think it was pretty green during the OG renovation uh it's been probably broken for the entirety that we've owned this home there's like three times we've ever used it and I swear is just a money pit where we were getting scammed by people that were just telling us stuff was broken it wasn't but it's actually dialed now and it works so uh we haven't used it but uh it's able to be used now I have a rolling log made famous by Woodward camp that I went to when I was a kid and you could roll on the log and roll your competitor off now that I got a pool of course I want that Colette hates it does not think it's a riate to have in a home pool but who else got a log your uncle may have a 1,000 horsepower super but I bet he doesn't have a rolling log in his pool I still think it's crazy that my mom's put like 15,000 miles on an LS3 swap Solstice she uh had some transmission issues with her Jeep so uh she's been dailying this thing where before it was just kind of a weekend car just imagine her pulling up at a light next to you just chopping away I got a deal for you okay I'm going to make you the best dinner you've ever had if you tried to do one donut in this yeah yeah key or try just try Colette said something about me driving what' she say she said no she said I thought Adam was going to filling you do something don't have that on why because I don't how to D donut okay it's off no it's not you'll be fine I'm not stupid here I'll tell you where to go no no no just let's we'll go in the skid pad where there's a ton of room stop right about here okay now all you need to do basically in first gear just floor it with the Wheels turn and just kind of keep it floored and you'll be fine so just turn the wheel all the way this car is in first I hate that you're going to scare yourself but just try to stay floored and you'll be fine Flo it trust me trust me floor I am and keep your hands turn like floor more gas more gas more floor harder there you go floor but keep it floored if you just keep it floored I promise you nothing bad will happen you'll just pivot in the center I can always pull the brake to help you and if you just floor it and stay floored it will be the safest thing you can do come here FL to the floor trust me you got it that's it I need you to try one more time and then I just need you to and then just say wed right so Drive in circle you're far away from the got our Misan pla we've got all our probably shouldn't be doing with that knife so your role your role in this mom I want you to critique me as someone who has cooked meals for me my whole life okay and tell me everything that I'm doing wrong but don't tell me what to do right okay I texted my mom one day this was like probably what like two or 3 weeks ago and I was like how do I cook meat I've never cooked a steak in my life I've never cooked a hamburger and I just wanted to know how to do it the right way and she gave me some tips and let's see if I do it the right way oh okay this this is some baller beef right here I tried this one time and now I'm hooked the Philip mnan um no filet Min yeah I know I know I don't worry come on I'm the the OG of the center cup Fila from Outback you know is this the right knife for this application yeah okay I'm doing this to get it a little bit more you know thinner yep the trick that I've learned to make this delicious is what I'm going to show you next we learned in culinary class back in high school you're supposed to cut like this so you can't cut your finger off clette really doesn't like meat so whenever I make this I get a lot of extra sucks Mike the have to leave right when I'm about to be done with a meal and you won't be able to try it now you'll be able to try some all right so we got the meat dialed in now this this is the trick that I've learned mom was getting mad at me for including the fat I don't know how to season things and I got this jar of goodness someone hid it from me buttery ah right here shout out whoever you are Mr this guy right here Mr Cosmos I got this thing I put it on everything it's so good and it makes me feel like I know how to cook because of all the flavor so what I do is I put a bunch of this on and I like tore it all up in there is that okay yeah okay it's sick you you told me not to say anything no but I want I don't want you to tell me what to do I want you to tell me what I'm doing wrong like you're you're judging me like this is Hell's Kitchen and you're talking the whole time no it's going to say something say something I'm if it's you got a good piece of meat but if you buy the Lesser meat uhhuh I'll put vinegar uh like uh even red wine vinegar and oil and kind of leave it sit for a little bit what does extra virgin mean how does that work isn't that a little weird extra how do you how are you extra virgin I don't think yeah I don't really understand that people yeah I can think of a couple people too Michael so I I Put A little dab of the olive oil in there and then I turn the stove up to performante just kidding I do seven it's a good number so now we're going to move on to the vegetables this is fresh vegetables back in the day my mom would use the she would use the frozen vegetables out of the bag remember those days not all the time if I had fresh carrots and peppers you call me up 10 minutes before you come home and say hey Mom what's for dinner you got enough for Jimmy and this one and that one yo so you're my mom stir fry as we were talking about you cuz you're here right now legendary so much so I think like one of the main reasons why Jimmy would hang out with me was mainly for my mom stir fry yeah Cody would come too we'd have a whole bunch of people yeah and one thing you can kind of spread it out pretty wide yeah it does make a lot of food and it reheats really well too yep um question am I supposed to wash these you should okay man I don't like that answer you use soap no some people are putting their vegetables and their fruits in the dishwasher no way yep that sounds like a real that that sounds like real uh I don't have a Tik toac on Facebook sounds like a real Karen thing to do you know any Karens I feel like you must know a lot of Karens no no not a lot no you Vibe with Karens or not do I what vibe no am am I a Karen no okay but that doesn't mean you can't Vibe with them I hate this part this part always makes a mess all the little seeds I don't know what the proper technique is here but would you like me to tell you for the next one yeah cut it in half uh-huh in the middle on the seed part cut it right in half and then what then gut it like that yep I tried that before and then I cut myself so I didn't stopped doing that for a while you can use your fingers all right yeah that worked okay we're getting somewhere now I've been needing to make this video too I just always forget and I just get so wrapped up in the shop and stuff going on he said I'm not the comment if he's doing something right yeah so does that mean I'm doing it right I'm I'm impressed hell yeah I made the red ones a little bit bigger for you will be nice and undercooked going to start the meat I think this is when it get stressful cuz you got to be on the money you know come on you know me I like that's not killing your stove cat I don't know what cooks faster onions or peppers how many onions two or three what seriously yeah I usually do one big onion do one big onion damn that's cooking fast I'm stressed out why is it so big this a bad onion is that normal I've never had onion like that cut it in half what the heck is that that's normal no that's is it bad should I abandon yeah I mean it's got parts are good but you got plenty of on we yeah we'll can do another this is where I never know what to do I don't know if I should cut it like this or this but I always tell myself don't cut it like an apple so then I cut it like this and then from there this is where I also don't know what to do see and then some sometimes I'll just do like this and I'll cut it like a pizza but that's not right either this is just start chopping yep that's what I'm talking about this is when I make a mess someone talks to me when I'm in the middle of doing something and my brain just goes all right onion I get an F minus everything else I think I did good right well I mean you get the same results but there's an easier way than what you're doing right now is it y I do it like this but I hold it together then you turn it this way and you do it this and it comes out like that yeah that's a lot smarter see usually I cut it with a knife I used said to just take a bite so damn that cooks so fast I definitely messed up usually I put it on at the same time as vegetables but I was too worried about filming I think see this is my problem I feel like this pan is going to be too big should I take the meat out and then cook the onions in there and cook the ve the things in here you have you see you see my problem onions oh so you put the onions in here okay and then the meat you're taking all the juice out no no I'm going to leave I'm going to leave the juice in but if I do it in one pan yeah well I was going to I was going to do that cuz I don't want to overcook the meat so then I'll put this in here right sickest Thing by the whole kitchen performante mode boils water in like a minute really it's insane like best thing ever I wish yeah I don't know how it works but it's ridiculous it just the whole whole pan just starts bubbling um so you got 11 minutes on this I forgot to Salt the water put some corn in there I love me some corn or you know they have beef broth mhm add a little beef broth oh is it ruined or is it going to be okay it's not ruined just going to have to back up back up someone opened the middle what's wrong it's going to be okay yeah I just have to rinse it once it's done it's going to be the saltiest noodles in the world then no one believed me that I was actually going to cook in this kitchen even myself here you are here I am oh what what are we doing with all this juice why is it where'd you get that it's just water oh I added to the pan because it was burnt if you put water in it and sit it back on the stove it makes it easier to clean it so you're not sitting there scrubbing it to that tips and tricks with Mom yeah when you build a lot of cars you learn tips about fixing them you know forgot about the best part turn this up just a little well what good is that this is going to be done by the time the fan comes all the way up all right we're uh we're done I I need you to to try a bite it doesn't look as pretty as it tastes I think I think it is Mike just said he likes it you can't hear him cuz he's not miked up this is the what is up guys is house update time finally we are making a video with the house we had the pleasure of working with obsessed Garage in redoing our very dated and Antiquated single bedroom home here at the compound technically we've already been moved in for almost half a year now but we've been on the road pretty much that entire time so we still haven't 100% moved in but we've like I would say like 70% it's enough now where I feel like it's okay to make the video and now if you guys didn't see any of the videos or you don't know Matt from obsess garage it may sound weird that we worked with the garage company on a home the idea is the obsession doesn't stop at the garage it doesn't stop with detailing cars it carries itself all the way into the place that you live here's the thing though I don't have any experience when it comes to Home Products I hate the idea of buying things renovating and then regretting it because I really don't know what I'm doing so I leaned on Matt's expertise both as a homeowner and someone who obsesses over the little details and products and things that we'll show you throughout our home so all right so we're going to start in the kitchen which is where we spend I would say most of our time if we're actually home technically speaking we don't cook and I know that was the joke of us building this beautiful kitchen and uh hey hey we cook is Colette classifies cooking as an oven pizza going in you did cook no you did cook the other she did cook say the man who got fresh Crunch Wrap Supremes made from scratch and this happened after I criticized her because she said that cooking was putting a frozen pizza in the oven now we're very busy neither of us really cook however she has some cooking skills and recently I've developed it's the ability to cook meat okay and I'm very proud of it and we may even experiment with this process later in the video um if you know anything about cooking you'll probably get a couple laughs from that yeah so I I love this kitchen I think obsessed garage did such a good job with finding a good balance between like the modern look that I wanted that would remind me of being more like downtown LA or New York City and bringing that into the swamp while still making it very functional with good products that Adam like um this sink is something I know a lot of people were obsessing over it's the craziest looking sink I've ever seen and I love it it looks really cool and it it does sink things I'm stoked that we we have drinking water now the fact that we can drink water from this and I don't need to Lug those like 55 they not 55 gallons I don't need I don't I don't need to Lug those like giant barrels of water over here every time I want to make pasta and like like that was legit what we were doing so that's that's sick yeah we can't drink the water out here it's very or it's it's not good to drink unless it goes through a lot of filtration so that's another thing that Matt took care of was like the triple filtration on the entire house which is awesome you might be wondering how organized are we still uh I'm like scared to open it because I didn't check that we cleaned the house before we made this video but I didn't go through the drawers um so these amazing drawer systems that hold all the silverware all the utensils and everything Matt does sell on the obsess garage site I'm sure he's going to criticize me for you know the spoons got little spoons with the little spoons it's exposing us like that come on this is an important piece like these are really cool and they look very nice and the organizers are available on the obsessed garage site and so is one of the biggest transformations to this home and my personal biggest complaint and that was with the lighting so we went from a house that was extremely dim that would make you sleepy and not really want to spend any time uh into something that feels like we are just in a comfortable home Abode with plenty of lighting it's really hard to explain or to show in video but the quality and the clarity of the lighting makes a very big difference uh the best way I could explain it to you is like if you're staring like in an office at a light for a while like you can almost get fatigued because it's like let's just say the lighting is really dialed and that's something that a lot of people Overlook and I have bought many light bulbs and like experimented with things in my other home before and was just never really happy this is amazing this is my favorite place we use this every day and oh this is new it's our new decoration now but this is the coffee Tea Bar we have the ice maker here dialed yeah this is that was one of Matt's favorites right yeah got the crunchy eyes got the wine cooler and yeah we're really big on coffee and tea every day we got his fancy to titanium mugs shout out samit for helping me Source these I I kind of want to go into a little bit more of like the personal side in this video too rather than just like showing the stuff the things that we use there's a lot of like little weird things that maybe you guys might want to try like as an example uh one of my favorite coffees actually just these little UCC um pourover coffee things from Japan you can get them on Amazon I'll put a link in the description I think Chrissy showed us these yes yeah we we had them at Chrissy's house the first time and then have just been obsessed ever since we're not really big wine drinkers but we have been using the wine fridge uh my sister um had me try this bottle before at her house and I was like wow this is one of the only wines I ever tried that I like so on a very special occasion maybe sometime we crack open a bottle yeah all right that's that's the if forever home because we're not we we cracked it open yeah the fridge amazingly l lar show do not show them the freezer the freezer is oh it's so bad it is I just want to show that we're utilizing all of the space Colette got a subscription to a smoothie place that I obviously haven't been using guys DM me if you're interested in some smoothies we got about 400 to sell actually I could go for Smoothie right now if I'm saying you know that would be tight um yeah but we've honestly used this kitchen a lot more than I would have ever thought having all the space and countertop to put things on and stuff when we get home from the supermarket that we go to once every 3 months Colette loves working here at this table kind of the idea was to be able to set it up and be able to you know work on your computer have something on the TV I do want to see if I can find a solution maybe it's like putting feet underneath the table to lift it up or somehow modifying this to go lower but for me because I'm so tall it's a little bit like low and awkward for me but I think just like putting some feed on the bottom will probably solve that yeah it's even a little low for me so I can't imagine how it feels for you you got to think too like we went to a custom furniture store in Georgia specked out a table for a kitchen that wasn't even built yet so a lot of little things like that kind of come with without saying Tak me I don't know if he's going to be in this video or not I don't know if you guys have met our cat T me before but um he has definitely uh left his Mark in a few things in our new home honestly not having a cat before though I was terrified that he was just going to destroy this house like I just pictured him like clawing at the TV my guitar amps just destroying everything so if that's that's it I can live with it he almost did claw the TV but it was because we were playing a cat movie for him butterflies on the TV yeah there was like you're trigger in the cat but I was like oh he has to watch something but then he was watching it too intently and he was about to attack so don't play uh cat movies for your cats if you don't want them to scratch it up and speaking of a gr triggering I'm going to show you something that will absolutely trigger Matt Mormon from from obsess garage he didn't want anything to do with this house after we moved in because he knew we were going to Adam and cify everything and it would be a a what do you know what I'm what I'm getting are you heading to the over there our new our newest feature in the house we have we have not only indoor chickens we have outdoor chicken they're not even there right now we'll do we'll we'll do a quick outdoor tour uh I think Colette talked about wanting chickens when we were renovating the house um but we didn't officially have any yet so you want to explain what these are well yeah we have chickens now we have we have 18 chickens sounds so ridiculous or 21 we have like 20 something chickens possibly maybe 18 um but we originally got chickens they're silky chickens we made them a little area outside here which I love because we can see them throughout this glass I don't know where they all are right now usually they're hanging out this glass was new by the way too which is very nice this is like transformed this part of the house too but uh I happened to go to Asia for about a month and Adam decided to not pick up eggs every day and then a couple hens decided they wanted to hatch eggs so now we have these guys now we have the cutest little fluffy babies so these are our newest babies and the newest uh addition to the house with our little feature here they're look them they're like 2 and 1/2 weeks old 3 weeks old I like the little ones because they don't really poop that big the big ones they just have like liquid poop no they don't they don't anymore he's traumatized as they used to like poop that that was a while ago that was a long time ago I don't think we've named any of these guys yet have we no not yet comment Bel hey hey not food friends so when this one hatched I freaked out because I've always wanted this color these are silky chickens by the way silky chickens and they're fluffy and the cutest thing ever and this one is a special color called lavender and she's so cute and then we have another really cute one that's going to look really funny cuz I think I think feathers calm down there we go U I think its type of feathers that it has are going to be like really crazy called a Frizzle silky so this one's going to look really funky when it's older but they're only going to be in here for a little while longer they're obviously they've grown so much so they're going to outgrow this in probably like the next week but for now they're an indoor feature one thing that we were on the fence about when we were doing the renovation was redoing these doors and this glass cuz it was a huge expense that kind of added on to a budget that we had already blown um but it is really nice before it had all like the tiles and cross-hatching but this is let a lot more light in the house um they also close and lock where our other ones really didn't and it was super annoying but uh definitely opened up the kitchen and giv us a lot more natural light um I don't know if this ever got shown in video cuz I think this was like one of the last things that got added and it might have been after Matt's last video but it's super cool little like grid wall that kind of like creates separation between this little area where you sit down and take your shoes off and then delivering them over here which we'll get to in a minute um but we'll go upstairs first this house is technically a one bedroom but there is a loft upstairs which is Handy uh we've had what maybe two or three people stay here few people it's yeah in the winter more people come to Florida in the summer no one really wants to be here cuz it's too hot but upstairs honestly I think is probably one of my favorite parts of the house we did the gate that way the dogs um can't get up here because it's carpet watch rally she's going to lose her mind your favorite thing look R Carpet Car I need you're so f fast you're so fast on carpet go this is one of my favorite bathrooms in the house I don't know why it's just super cool with all the different tiles and stuff um still looks exactly like it did when we did the home renovation but and that was last minute that bathroom wasn't even supposed to get renovated minut like plus do it imagine if we did the entire house and just left that one bathroom looking all old and dated oh my God yeah this looks sick though it's cool little area up here um this was new I think post video this little like uh cupboard thing yeah it doesn't open so wait no it does open it doesn't lock it does yeah but you can't open it cuz there's a lamp on it and then over here we accidentally got this table so this was supposed to be Colette's vanity table for the bedroom and then we unboxed it and it was like way bigger than we remembered um and it worked out perfectly because I got her a bunch of DJ equipment for was it your birthday or Christmas well it's basically the same it's two days after Christmas so one of one of the two yeah which obviously I haven't set up yet but eventually I'll have monitors up here and doing music production or like making music is something I've wanted to do for years now so now I have an area to figure it out I I am like obsessed with music and it's it's weird because it's always been something that's been a part of my life but not something that I've had a lot of time for so like I played guitar when I was really young I never really did like this type of mixing music but I was around friends that did so I like kind of understand it somewhat and um when she got this all set up that kind of gave me the motivation to be like oh I should really start getting into playing guitar again which I'll show you in a minute I got like a cool little guitar SE down there look at look how cool this this is a space imagine you're you're a DJ or whatever you call a producer and you're just it looks so bad right now so don't look at too closely she's got super legit stuff too this is shout out my buddy Aiden who helped me make sure I get her all the good cool stuff and then if I need someone to actually like play things on a guitar I call I call I call him in call this guy so I don't have to learn how to play the guitar to make beats or music this is a good example though this is kind of like the same idea with the house right like I wanted to get her DJ equipment but I didn't want to get get her junk that I was going to then have to replace later because it wasn't the right thing so much like we did with the house with Matt froms garage I rang up my buddy Aiden who used to do this for a living and he just told me all right buy this stuff this is really good and she'll never need any other stuff again and similar story with guitar stuff once we get down there but let's let's go to the living room oh wait but if if anyone watching these videos is into music production or has good resources or know like a good place for me to start comment below because I'm still very much overwhelmed like I don't want to spend too much time learning how to make a single sound and then like create a hole song that way I know there's lots of stems and resources you can use so yeah I think Aiden used to use fro Loops Fruity Loops have you heard of that no yeah it's a cereal you eat wait what TV super dialed um we definitely watch it sounds like you've never used a TV no no no we we've used it we've definitely not as much as most people probably would um but it's pretty dialed I I love the fact that we have two of these things cuz you can kind of like sit on it from like this way you can sit it from this way or you can sit it from this way or you can lay down this is the puppy's favorite part of the house up yeah they just hang out here with us occasionally we'll eat food in here but usually we eat at the table um I'm very terrified of anything that's white so uh you know but this is good because it's it's like textured you know so it's not like you're super worried about it staining or the dog hair being visible just blend in that's what we want you know a nice blend so this house uh it's it's interesting because Matt helped us not cheap out on a lot of like the really important things like audio equipment and TVs and the things where I will really appreciate the quality but then certain things we were able to really do on a budget so like the cabinets as an example we found a budget solution that still has like an amazing look with the the European style uh the couches we had customade instead of going to like one of the Box retailers that charges an arm and a leg for all like the fancy bougie Furniture um and it's still comfortable and it's worked great and it kept us closer to our budget that we tried not to exceed Furnishing budget the furniture was then the house the house build budget was way over but the furniture was like 1 of the budget yeah it was crazy I think we furnished the whole house for like 25 Grand or something M like wild this little area we don't really use but it looks cool and neat with the lamp and stuff this area has just recently been my uh completed guitar corner so this is actually where the guitar Obsession started I shouldn't say started because I played when I was really young but then I stopped playing for a while um but I think it was in May I'm a really really big Tim Henson fan and I wanted more than anything to learn how to play playing God it was like a unrealistic challenge that I didn't think I'd ever be able to so I was like I'm just going to keep trying and trying and trying and see if I can get any worth it so I got his signature nylon guitar um the idea behind it for me was like I don't really need an amp because it still kind of makes almost acoustic noise and it's easy to pick up and play and bring plac so I did that for a little while I would say it's not until I got this amp that I started really playing even more so Colette got me this guitar right here which is one of my favorite guitars of all time um I think this was this Christmas or this is a this is a baller Christmas present so this is an American Deluxe Stratocaster with noisess pickups and I got this guitar and I think it was 2 years ago actually it was when we had the old house I hated how it sounded I always wanted a straat because Matt my guitar friend who kind of introduced back into playing guitar like this is I I don't want to spend too much time on this story but it's something I'm really passionate about um he was just a random subscriber and he just started dropping off like random guitar stuff for me to try he lent me his Stratocaster I loved how it sounded so I wanted one I got the nicest one and they just never really sounded right turns out I just had an amp that didn't sound good with it so when I got this orange amp it made me fall in love with this guitar it's got the coolest sound to it um I don't want to make this a guitar video but I'll play like a couple really short things just in case you're into it you might already be sick from hearing and stuff on my stories but this amp is like a really cool like kind of like grungy but also like Smooth tone so um it sounds really good Strat just kind of have like a really like twangy sound and this guitar and this amp combo kind of led me down the path from trying to play like the pfia Tim Henson style stuff on that to starting to learn how to play like movement style Citizen and stuff that I listen to a lot of but I've never really been able to achieve the tone but I feel like this is kind of the combo that gives me that Sound and to be able to play a sound like you like how it sounds sound is like the coolest thing so um this isn't a song but it's similar to a lot of the stuff that I'll play on this Not Great by any means but I'm I'm very proud of some of the stuff that I'd be able to accomplish of just like playing again for a short period of time but this thing sounds beautiful one other guitar that I'll play on this am and I feel like I need to show you the stand real quick because this is like a pretty cool piece I actually ordered this off Etsy from Austria and was able to get it made in the same like wood tones that we have in the rest of the living room and even got like a custom lzmfg logo in it I want stuff to look nice in the house and look like it has a place like even this guitar looks cool this stand that I got I think I got off Etsy 2 just a nice like little wooden piece um but this guitar I have to give a big big big shout out to my buddy I call him guitar Matt he's the the same fan again and he's kind of been my obsessed Garage in the Guitar World of helping me pick all the right things as I get more into it so this guitar right here this is the Tim Henson signature electric guitar and I wanted to build a custom guitar to look like the E36 so this is painted Maritime blue uh by Josh and Ray these are custom demarzio pink pickups um he also obviously put better strings on it we printed an ianz sticker put it underneath the clear um and he also did a custom wiring job on it to get this thing to have all these cool tones so the best way that I can describe this guitar is it can kind of accomplish some of the same things as the Strat in terms of that kind of like twangy sound um but then it also can like play metal too so it's pretty versatile but I like it with this amp the most it's cool like kind of bluesy twangy but you can also play like some more of the metal stuff again I don't want to bore you too much with too much guitar things this has honestly saved me from spend spending a lot of money on cars because now I just obsess on Marketplace looking for deals on guitars this one is actually supposed to be for a another custom paint job I'm going to send this out to pbk and just do like a cool custom painted Strat this guitar is actually one that Matt lent to me that's a not a very expensive ianz but is turned out to be one of my favorites to play I don't know why it just sometimes a guitar just like speaks to you and this guitar has made me really stoked because it's been able to allow me to start to play the other types of music that I listen to which is more like currents era like way heavier stuff but I could never get the tone that I wanted so again Matt helped me and steered me in the direction of getting this my first tube head it's tiny but it's the most ridiculous tiny little head that I've ever heard and it gives the sickest tones imaginable and that's like not even half of the actual speed that that's supposed to be played at but I'm so proud of being able to create those noises finally for once in my life cuz all I ever knew how to play was like Avenge Sevenfold and that doesn't sound heavy and then this escalated even further cuz then with heavy music you're like oh let's just keep tuning lower and lower and lower so I'll show you my latest pickup this is a Hellraiser uh C7 so this was my first seven string guitar but I could never really get it to sound right cuz the sustain a pickups and then this was my first really nice guitar that I got probably back when I was like 13 that's a Sinister Gates custom this is my new pickup this is a Prestige ibz s string I'm not going to lie I'm not super sold on it I got it for a pretty good deal and I'm considering trading it or moving into something else I just can't get it to sound right tune down really low it sounds good in a but any lower than drop a and it just starts to kind of sound muddy probably the most technical thing that I've ever tried and I'll see if I can make it sound decent enough to put in a YouTube video with a lot of people watching that's probably like 80 to 85% of the speed that it's supposed to be played at but even the fact that I can make it sound like the songs that I like listening to Beyond stoked that's enough guitar talk let's continue the house tour we got a lot of exciting surprises for you left in this video including a very special guest that may or may not be doing drifting that she has no idea that she might be doing drifting who's never drifted before and also may be the person who conceived me that's how you say it right conceived yeah okay I have one more guitar that was honestly so the I kind of lied I played guitar a little bit for like a random spurt in like 2019 2018 and it was cuz I got my first acoustic guitar this tailor is literally the most magical sounding guitar on planet Earth I can play one open chord and I feel like I just know I just know so like just sounds beautiful and like just like twinkly this is my favorite guitar I've ever played in the world and zero regrets of buying this thing um okay now we're back to house tour here buddy you got to he's going to try and you got to firmly hold him look who decided to join us for the next part of the tour this is our wild Takami who is very scared of Michael because he's a scaredy cat but he is the craziest Kitty ever and We rescued him from a family that found him on the side of the road that couldn't keep him and he showed up in a yellow Mustang so that's why we call him Takami that's not why we call him taky why do we call him taky this is your idea you better know I do know well cuz he's black and white and Adam was like what the name that has to do with black and white I like we're not calling him Panda I'm sorry Drawing the Line not Panda but then but then who drives a panda who drives a panda and we thought Initial D then who drives them talk me Tumi and now we have takumi and he's crazy and he's a cool cat though he's he is a little confused you guess he was raised with dogs and chickens at the same time so we'll find him outside just lounging in the chicken CP or like watching them and then also he tried barking when he was little yeah he's cool he's just scared of anyone in camera and Camera creepy cameraman do bring that back he's scared at creepy cameraman but he's around here you'll notice there's a theme of this this dark wood in the house this is his favorite toy he loves scratching this we put a little nip in here before it gets him you know feeling it just chills and moving back in the house this thing that I was never really crazy about still not really crazy about it but I guess it looks cool fills the space nice look at that face it was really expensive compared to all the furniture we got compared to our budget yes it was a bit part of the budget that we are way under that's a set of tees right here damn yeah it was an expensive piece yeah that's what I was thinking about when we were buying it I'm like I just got a whole couch set for the price of this cabinet but it looks cool I'll give you that Kay you got to explain this thing you call it my My Space Capsule your scuba suit yeah so this is my hyper barit chamber that sounded really annoying that was really that was really annoying it's what all the kids are doing nowadays this is my hyper Barett chamber that I have really not used that much and I suck and I need to use it more had a few concussions and Monster Jam and really the only way that you can heal from concussions is by doing like hyper bar chamber stuff and I was like there's no way I'm going to do it if I got to go somewhere we'd have to drive an hour then you wait an hour to two hours and drive an hour B I'm like never didn't happen and in order for it to be effective you have to do it all the time so I actually found a company where I could rent it much cheaper than trying to buy one and I'm supposed to be doing it every day and I need to get better at it but that is why this contraption is here I'm supposed to be hyper Barett chambering and this is Taki's fancy litter box that he doesn't use anymore he uses sometimes he he's turned into an an outdoor Kitty once he discovered outside because he's never been outside before he just craves outside all the time and then I noticed he doesn't really go through litter anymore so I assume he's doing his thing out there cuz I haven't found anywhere else no he he goes to the bathroom in the chicken toop I caught him one day and I was like what is he doing mes it's like litter maybe he's never had an accident not once the day after we got him um Cuz We rescued him he was like a week and a half I taught him how to use a litter box and has never had an accident so shout out cats pretty cool check out his bathroom it's bathroom it looks good now I like this bathroom it um it does the job you want to show us how it works I think I think most of the people watching this video could probably get an understanding but there's probably a small percentage of them that don't so you want to show them how it works it's a great bathroom I like that this reminds me of the nurur Ring slightly less just slightly less Corners sometimes I'll pretend that's a RAC track you know mhm yeah moving on what he said moving on original leave all right give us a second to move some of this stuff oh yeah what look look at all of our decorations talk to me oh my God Tak me is a little awkward when it comes to being on camera hello he's pissed H he's pissed h m stop stop we forgot about this room this is the pet room so Takami eats his food on the counter so that way the dogs don't eat it because they used to like his cat food and I don't think it's really good for him so he jumps up here and then the dogs eat their food on the floor they have these fancy little things so it slows them down eating and we used to have a whole forest in here but I think it died um oh yeah we were growing our own vegetables and lettuce and things like that it didn't die we just have to get new ones it went through its growth cycle I think we forgot to water it it Waters itself that was the whole point yeah we're really into U what what do you call it uh self-sufficient automation yeah really automated food yeah you got chickens over there eggs for you automated uh cat litter yep speaking of automated you to eat that this washes the clothes and this dries the clothes that's insane um it's so crazy what okay I think hands down this is going to be so silly because this is the mo the least obsessed garage thing of this entire house the favorite thing I of the entire process for me having these speakers in every room they all connect to one app and I'm able to just play music when I'm in my closet when I'm packing in here for a trip which is 90% of the time when I'm in the shower wherever you are in the house there's an amazing sound system if it takes advantage of the home theater if it takes advantage of these little speakers the bigger ones are all linked together and it's sick uh washer and dryer um it certainly is a Speed Queen washes and dries pretty fast bathroom sick really good lighting before it was dim and it had black mold so that sucked yeah the black mold part was not cool every night we were like God my eyes really burn after every single shower like for the rest of the night and we were doing that for like what Cofe half a year yeah maybe a year not really funny yeah but now we have a beautiful bathroom all the tile everything I absolutely love my little Japanese soaking tub it was the best decision ever and it fits in the space really well and it's one of my favorite features not going to lie I thought that she would get over it like within first month I think thought she'd be like I wish I got a normal bath where I could lay down and this is silly and stupid but she actually does love it yeah it's so nice I don't fit in it so I will never use it however the shower is great um it's got a lot of water comes down from above I don't really this is the first time doing this like if this was a car it'd be really easy for me to be like yeah you know like Power Band feels like this is real linear but I'm like same same uh company that did the crazy water stone the water all the water stone stuff is Gangster I love feeling the little neurals and I I really appreciate nice machine work so when I have something that's like nicely machined I geek out over it and even the the shower like whole contraction in the knobs yeah that's like a full I think it started off like a full Billet piece the piece and then everything was like machined down was pretty cool but uh yeah I mean for the most part we're able to keep this place pretty clean I think it's because it's it is such a small house being one bedroom I don't know what the square footage is but I think it's like 1500 square ft or something not insane um it's pretty easy to keep it clean the problem is we just have so much stuff from the old house and from the other house that uh the garage is still literally just a storage unit and there's nowhere to hide stuff hiding stuff and also like every time we're home we're like we're home suitcase here close here like we're never here usually long enough to fully do things without rushing so that's a big part of the problem has the internet ever seen this this is like the cutest most adorable thing that anyone's ever done for me Colette made this for me um I think this was was this Christmas or was this a birthday present I don't know it was like the irony year of the flame they didn't even know what was coming was that really yeah rude but look at this can I I don't even can I show the stuff is it okay yeah I think so it's appropriate look isn't appropr this is this is like the story of our whole relationship and when she almost burned on my car and then the evos and then when she almost burned down my car again oh did burn down my car that was the only time I just kidding and then it going Bara and then us being cute and drifting and her first drift car that I convinced her to get like all the the blue E36 that then won FD wait did I no it only Podium it hasn't won a round yet right Podium yeah it will win around oh the rig mhm remember the old toter you wish we had that now this is the coolest thing isn't it look at all her little artwork and everything clutch kickers that's my favorite photo I love that one hell yeah my dog that's my dog right there so moving on uh so the last section of the house before we get on our special Adventure this is the dog bed yep as you can tell they are king and queen of the bed oh probably one of the biggest transformations of this house um is the entire obsess garage closet solution so all these cabinets all the hangers everything is a bring child of cess garage and is available on their site um if you haven't seen the videos from the home renovation I'm going to put links in the description as well as all the products and stuff that we talk about in this video we went from essentially fighting over a space this big to now having an entire room where we knock down the wall and all this crazy organization um so we're able to fit a ton of clothes uh do you want to show your side first you want me to show my side first we're just going to do a little quick brisk walk through my side cuz my side's not it's not organized at the moment oh wait speed tour what's that speed tour closet mirror of more shoes it's de all the colors all the sparkle all the it's de deir it's de you're so funny I know they so cute and then here my vanity my door that won't shut speed tour miror Mir now uh Adam side Adam side all right there you go so if you're a big shoe guy I'm not a big shoe guy but these are I'll say tied with the coolest pair of shoes that I have Colette made these for me they're coffee stained fade hand painted beautiful Custom lzmfg Air Jordans pretty sick I haven't worn them yet because I'm terrified of messing them up I might have actually worn them once they smell like coffee you smell them smell it smells like coffee they do isn't that crazy um so that's really cool uh other notable things um hold up he's I'm not a shoe dye please please come in what are these what are those but he has more shoes than me I do but this is not like a a shoe guy this is just someone that really likes Vans yeah so I found a shoe that I like and I like to have clean versions of that shoe and they come out with colors that are limited edition these are shout out Kyle Walker he's a skateboarder and he just picked a really good signature shoe and I love them for riding BMX to still wear them to this day I've got a lot of different colors and yeah that's that's my thing um I love those shoes they're good shoes we'll we'll do a quick little tour of some of the things you guys probably never see me in videos cuz I'm always wearing lzmfg gear I do own other pieces of clothing quite honestly I'll usually just wear like a nice unbranded t-shirt if we're going on a date or dinner um but she did convince me to buy a fancy shirt one time that I wore once right it's such a statement that I've worn it once because I feel weird wearing it show the people more yeah but I like I like more stuff like this so like Colette got me this shirt and I really like it cuz it has languages on it and I travel a lot so it makes me you know feel authentic I never worn this but I thought this was cool it's like a you know Polo if I ever go golfing this is what I'm going to wear um yo yo show the strawberry shirt no I got some cool stuff in here this is this is the what why did I buy this I got this is my one of the only nice jackets I ever got it's from um All Saints I could just put this over anything that I'm wearing and instantly makes it look nicer I think I was in Vegas and I was underdressed for something and I bought this in the hotel that I was at and it turned into one of the favorite things I ever prove it put it on right now prove it yeah check it out ready and it's so comfy mhm and I can fold it and I can put in my suitcase never gets crinkled yeah for me All Saints very good oh are you a big All Saints guy yeah hey we're only allowed to talk about lzmfg clothing in this video so these shirts I like sometimes button- down shirts and stuff I like them when they're stretchy because I'm blanky and I never really fit right and stuff and I got some cool sweaters and stuff trying to think like what my favorite sweater is I don't know I really like this one it's got a little like palm trees on it MH so I think that's cool this is all my non-branded stuff this jacket probably one of the coolest jackets I've never worn check it out sick right got the fade TRD colors I really like old like vintage racing jackets but I never wear them cuz they don't really fit me right like I got this sweet old logo Nismo one they're always just too short on me yeah Colette's got me some really cool like old Mustang jackets check out that one and then over here we have can you imagine what you see me wear in every single video ever an array of beautiful black t-shirts so go through here try do I have any unreleased oh yeah this is unreleased this uh I don't know when we're going to release it it's a very cool unreleased R32 GTR shirt maybe maybe in a while actually I don't know yeah that's a good time sick so the the problem with the shirt was We were supposed to do a California trip and drive and take this photo in real life and then I don't know why I think I just got too busy cuz I just comp compete and drifting all the time so I never did it so I was like we're not launching the shirt until I can recreate this photo in real life see the thing is with like art and trying to get like a photo and a design made you have to do it before the thing actually happens if you want it to be relevant comment below if to soft launch it at Irwindale so at Irwindale if you're there we're going to have a small batch of them then we'll probably release whatever we have left on the website um because I'll have my R32 GTR there and hopefully I'll be able to recreate that photo before Irwindale now that's pretty much it for the house tour but I told you guys half jokingly but also half seriously that I need to show you guys my new cooking skills so U my mom's actually here today because uh we were helping her fix her Jeep and she brought her Solstice here so I'm going to tell my mom if she does some donuts and her Solstice and she's never done a donut before in her life I'm going to cook her dinner I'm going to cook either way but she doesn't know that but uh yeah well I'm going to do a cooking demo to close out the video and you guys can judge my cooking skills dialing this house in uh working with Matt at obsess garage and of course the whole obsess garage team absolute pleasure I'm extremely extremely thankful they were able to accomplish what would have taken anyone else probably 10 times the amount of time and we're able to turn our home into something that actually feels like ours with all the modern bits and nannies and things and cool stuff just very very appreciative to have been able to have this place transformed and we're both super thankful and it's always cool to see Matt follow his passions as it's gone from detailing to garage to home and who knows what's next we forgot to show you guys the outdoor chicken coup this is technically a porch but it's also where the little chickies hang out that's my favorite dude right there comes up for his little cheat his favorite of the little balls I don't know what they are but he finds them somehow without all even really looking at him they like uh watermelon too did we name him just big dude yeah I named that guy fog light because he was yellow when he was a little baby they all look at all of them it's a whole chicken Paradise they love I'm expanding it into the back half so we'll be able to see them from the living room and have open the window and feed them and stuff from inside uh but for now this is their area they're really really cute Colette got these ones after the fact because she wasn't happy with the egg production that we had going on so these are like the egg machines but they're way more like feral and um less like friends than These Guys these guys will hang out and they'll like those guys are just like little Velociraptors yeah so these are silky chickens and then the two with the smooth feathers are still silkies technically just like satin silkies and then those are Tractor Supply chicks Tractor Supply Tractor Supply and Adam doesn't like them as much because they don't really come and say hey to us and they're not as like cute but they're supposed to be making like the big brown eggs one every day and there's four of them they just haven't started laying eggs yet we'll see how that goes this is my little girl I just gave her a bath but she looks dirty again look what we have an egg oh my gosh wow wow this is what it's for it's an egg Farm all this for a little silty egg actually this must have be this is from the bigger gray one back there because this is bigger than the normally are normally they're even smaller yeah hey stop yeah that's a new thing that I never knew happened chickens literally just each other all the time it's pretty messed up we had to give two up um no three we rehomed three to Big Boost Alberto because he has like 40 on his property and has like a whole yeah whole a whole bunch of them so we we our ratio was very off we we had the epitome of a sausage fest when it came to chickens we had like two girls and like eight dudes and it was bad we yeah already I'm like it's tough to keep the guys cuz they're like aggressive but right now we have a good mixture everyone gets along for the most part we only have three girls and I'm just hoping our chicks there's more girls we'll figure it out if not but yeah we have three that went on to be with Alberto and they just they're so cute they're like a little gang like the Three Musketeers they only stay with each other and they just walk around his property and go into his shop all the time so the pool finally works I think it was pretty green during the OG renovation uh it's been probably broken for the entirety that we've owned this home there's like three times we've ever used it and I swear is just a money pit where we were getting scammed by people that were just telling us stuff was broken it wasn't but it's actually dialed now and it works so uh we haven't used it but uh it's able to be used now I have a rolling log made famous by Woodward camp that I went to when I was a kid and you could roll on the log and roll your competitor off now that I got a pool of course I want that Colette hates it does not think it's a riate to have in a home pool but who else got a log your uncle may have a 1,000 horsepower super but I bet he doesn't have a rolling log in his pool I still think it's crazy that my mom's put like 15,000 miles on an LS3 swap Solstice she uh had some transmission issues with her Jeep so uh she's been dailying this thing where before it was just kind of a weekend car just imagine her pulling up at a light next to you just chopping away I got a deal for you okay I'm going to make you the best dinner you've ever had if you tried to do one donut in this yeah yeah key or try just try Colette said something about me driving what' she say she said no she said I thought Adam was going to filling you do something don't have that on why because I don't how to D donut okay it's off no it's not you'll be fine I'm not stupid here I'll tell and just kind of keep it floored and you'll be fine so just turn the wheel all the way this car is in first I hate that you're going to scare yourself but just try to stay floored and you'll be fine Flo it trust me trust me floor I am and keep your hands turn like floor more gas more gas more floor harder there you go floor but keep it floored if you just keep it floored I promise you nothing bad will happen you'll just pivot in the center I can always pull the brake to help you and if you just floor it and stay floored it will be the safest thing you can do come here FL to the floor trust me be doing with that knife so your role your role in this mom I want you to critique me as someone who has cooked meals for me my whole life okay and tell me everything that I'm doing wrong but don't tell me what to do right okay I texted my mom one day this was like probably what like two or 3 weeks ago and I was like how do I cook meat I've never cooked a steak in my life I've never cooked a hamburger and I just wanted to know how to do it the right way and she gave me some tips and let's see if I do it the right way oh okay this this is some baller beef right here I tried this one time and now I'm hooked the Philip mnan um no filet Min yeah I know I know I don't worry come on I'm the the OG of the center cup Fila from Outback you know is this the right knife for this application yeah okay I'm doing this to get it a little bit more you know thinner yep the trick that I've learned to make this delicious is what I'm going to show you next we learned in culinary class back in high school you're supposed to cut like this so you can't cut your finger off clette really doesn't like meat so whenever I make this I get a lot of extra sucks Mike the have to leave right when I'm about to be done with a meal and you won't be able to try it now you'll be able to try some all right so we got the meat dialed in now this this is the trick that I've learned mom was getting mad at me for including the fat I don't know how to season things and I got this jar of goodness someone hid it from me buttery ah right here shout out whoever you are Mr this guy right here Mr Cosmos I got this thing I put it on everything it's so good and it makes me feel like I know how to cook because of all the flavor so what I do is I put a bunch of this on and I like tore it all up in there is that okay yeah okay it's sick you you told me not to say anything no but I want I don't want you to tell me what to do I want you to tell me what I'm doing wrong like you're you're judging me like this is Hell's Kitchen and you're talking the whole time no it's going to say something say something I'm if it's you got a good piece of meat but if you buy the Lesser meat uhhuh I'll put vinegar uh like uh even red wine vinegar and oil and kind of leave it sit for a little bit what does extra virgin mean how does that work isn't that a little weird extra how do you how are you extra virgin I don't think yeah I don't really understand that people yeah I can think of a couple people too Michael so I I Put A little dab of the olive oil in there and then I turn the stove up to performante just kidding I do seven it's a good number so now we're going to move on to the vegetables this is fresh vegetables back in the day my mom would use the she would use the frozen vegetables out of the bag remember those days not all the time if I had fresh carrots and peppers you call me up 10 minutes before you come home and say hey Mom what's for dinner you got enough for Jimmy and this one and that one yo so you're my mom stir fry as we were talking about you cuz you're here right now legendary so much so I think like one of the main reasons why Jimmy would hang out with me was mainly for my mom stir fry yeah Cody would come too we'd have a whole bunch of people yeah and one thing you can kind of spread it out pretty wide yeah it does make a lot of food and it reheats really well too yep um question am I supposed to wash these you should okay man I don't like that answer you use soap no some people are putting their vegetables and their fruits in the dishwasher no way yep that sounds like a real that that sounds like real uh I don't have a Tik toac on Facebook sounds like a real Karen thing to do you know any Karens I feel like you must know a lot of Karens no no not a lot no you Vibe with Karens or not do I what vibe no am am I a Karen no okay but that doesn't mean you can't Vibe with them I hate this part this part always makes a mess all the little seeds I don't know what the proper technique is here but would you like me to tell you for the next one yeah cut it in half uh-huh in the middle on the seed part cut it right in half and then what then gut it like that yep I tried that before and then I cut myself so I didn't stopped doing that for a while you can use your fingers all right yeah that worked okay we're getting somewhere now I've been needing to make know come on you know me I like that's not killing your stove cat I don't know what cooks faster onions or peppers how many onions two or three what seriously yeah I usually do one big onion do one big onion damn that's cooking fast I'm stressed out why is it so big this a bad onion is that normal I've never had onion like that cut it in half what the heck is that that's normal no that's is it bad should I abandon yeah I mean it's got parts are good but you got plenty of on we yeah we'll can do another this is where I never know what to do I don't know if I should cut it like this or this but I always tell myself don't cut it like an apple so then I cut it like this and then from there this is where I also don't know what to do see and then some sometimes I'll just do like this and I'll cut it like a pizza but that's not right either this is just start chopping yep that's what I'm talking about this is when I make a mess someone talks to me when I'm in the middle of doing something and my brain just goes all right onion I get an F minus everything else I think I did good right well I mean you get the same results but there's an easier way than what you're doing right now is it y I do it like this but I hold it together then you turn it this way and you do it this and it comes out like that yeah that's a lot smarter see usually I cut it with a knife I used said to just take a bite so damn that cooks so fast I definitely messed up usually I put it on at the same time as vegetables but I was too worried about filming I think see this is my problem I feel like this pan is going to be too big should I take the meat out and then cook the onions in there and cook the ve the things in here you have you see you see my problem onions oh so you put the onions in here okay and then the meat you're taking all the juice out no no I'm going to leave I'm going to leave the juice in but if I do it in one pan yeah well I was going to I was going to do that cuz I don't want to overcook the meat so then I'll put this in here right sickest Thing by the whole kitchen performante mode boils water in like a minute really it's insane like best thing ever I wish yeah I don't know how it works but it's ridiculous it just the whole whole pan just starts bubbling um so you got 11 minutes on this I forgot to Salt the water put some corn in there I love me some corn or you know they have beef broth mhm add a little beef broth oh is it ruined or is it going to be okay it's not ruined just going to have to back up back up someone opened the middle what's wrong it's going to be okay yeah I just have to rinse it once it's done it's going to be the saltiest noodles in the world then no one believed me that I was actually going to cook in this kitchen even myself here you are here I am oh what what are we doing with all this juice why is it where'd you get that it's just water oh I added to the pan because it was burnt if you put water in it and sit it back on the stove it makes it easier to clean it so you're not sitting there scrubbing it to that tips and tricks with Mom yeah when you build a lot of cars you learn tips about fixing them you know forgot about the best part turn this up just a little well what good is that this is going to be done by the time the fan comes all the way up all right we're uh we're done I I need you to to try a bite it doesn't look as pretty as it tastes I think I think it is Mike just said he likes it you can't hear him cuz he's not miked up this is the true testing approval right here to very good very good thanks
