What's Up Guys: A Quick Update from Lou

Lou here and I wanted to give you a quick update on what's been going on with me lately. Every time I head over to my mailbox, I'm always surprised to find new products waiting for me. I decided to be a little bit interactive and want you guys to choose which product I show you that arrived first featured first on the channel. So, without further ado, let me show you what was there.

First off, we have this boom box from Marley, called the Bag of Rhythm. It's kind of a new take on the idea of the iPod iPhone boom box, with your usual docking area and auxiliary input, but it also goes one step further by having a bag built right into it. You can remove it, making it very easy to take with you on the road to bring audio with you. My understanding is that this can kick out some pretty decent power too, so I'm excited to take a closer look at it and give you guys my thoughts.

Not only did Marley send me this boom box, but they also sent me some other goodies. You guys know that I'm a big headphones fan, and they sent me their highest-end over-ear style headphone, the TTR. Made out of very high-end materials, including aluminum and real leather, I'm expecting a really nice unboxing experience. I'll also be giving you guys my take on how they sound, pitting them against some of the other headphones featured recently on the channel. And to make things even more interesting, they also sent me a set of in-ear headphones called the Zion. These ones have some nice wooden components and an inline remote SL mic, making them look like two very cool-looking headphones that are going to be featured on the channel.

But that's not all - I'm still planning to do that comparison that you guys voted for, regarding the Street by 50 headphones and the Beats mixer headphones. You guys overwhelmingly wanted me to compare those two, so I'll definitely be doing that too. And then, after all that, I'll let you know how Marley's highest-end offering stacks up.

Now, I have to talk about something very special. This is one product that I think you guys are going to be pretty amped to check out. It comes from the awesome people over at Promo Mods, a company that I don't know much about yet, but they seem really cool. They've completely customized this controller both in appearance and functionality, so it's definitely going to be unlike any other controller you've ever seen before. Unfortunately, I'm not going to give too much away just yet - let's just say it's in a hard case right now, and you'll have to stay tuned to see what it looks like.

Finally, I want to talk about something that's very close to my heart: hockey. If you're from Canada, like most of you guys, then you know how much the sport is loved here. And I just picked up some brand new hockey gloves, which are actually really awesome. They're called the 11k from Reok, and they're pretty high-end. Okay, so maybe they're a little too pricey for my budget - but hey, that's what makes them special, right? Anyway, I wanted to share this with you guys because I know how much hockey is loved up here.
