The Joy of Riding: A Day with Daily Driven Exotics

It's always a pleasure to spend time with friends and share our passion for cars, and today was no exception. We gathered around the Daily Driven Exotics crew, eager to take out their latest acquisition for a spin. The car in question was none other than a Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Roadster, and we couldn't wait to get behind the wheel.

As we waited for our turn, we chatted about everything from racing to daily driving, with Mike joking about his desire to drive to Starbucks as fast as possible. He even claimed he could shave off eight seconds from the usual time, which left us all impressed. Meanwhile, Kayla was calm and collected, much to the amusement of everyone else in the group.

Just as we were about to get started, we received some unexpected news - one of our staff members had accidentally touched a keyboard, potentially causing some real damage. Thankfully, they had already backed up their work, but it served as a reminder to be careful and mindful of our surroundings.

As we prepared for our ride, one of the crew members couldn't help but comment on how beautiful the Lamborghini looked. The V12 engine roared to life, and we set off into the sunset, feeling the rush of adrenaline as we sped down the road.

used to use when i was tuning my sheepy built twin turbo huracan the tires layer they love hp computers it's a simple pc they use motec to run those twin turbo systems so it's a standalone engine management system so you need laptop power source and an ethernet cable and i was just on the phone with rg and the boys at 316 speed we were doing some clutch adaptations making sure the tune is good because now the car's back here in canada pretty much the furthest place on earth well not quite but the furthest place away from florida it basically could be compared to when it was in california you guys haven't really done much in the car would you do when it came back would you guys you guys take it out at all scary to move that car what you're nervous i'm nervous my hands are sweating already so i'm gonna take you for a ride yes he's talked me into going for a ride in this car and i'm already like my palms are sweating my heart's racing already billionaire mike hall billionaire mike calls a little nervous guys i think we should also take a few of the other uh employees our friends and family around here for rides so stick around we're gonna have some reactions in the meantime they have a new car in the showroom like i was saying it looks like a parts car and that's because it's a giallo orion lp 640 version lago it's e-gear roadster it has everything almost on that car i need to rebuild my car because even though it's a roadster all the damage mainly on my car is from like bumper level down all the parts on that car are identical to the parts on my car minus the fact that obviously i had the upgraded sv style front end but uh i have actually the stock front end well the bumper and the rear bumper sitting at my house so right over here is a giallo orion lp640 murcielago now cars are really hard to get right now the car market's nuts that's simple economics demand is really high the supply is really low really low so you guys got this in where'd it come from matt actually bought this car so i have no clue where he got it from because it's not for sale oh another not for sale car another not for sale so i couldn't buy this even if i wanted to yeah you just salt the family maybe maybe this is a really cool car this makes me miss my car even more it's such a beautiful beautiful machine the roof on these cars is garbage so can we show them quickly it's considered a toupee of my terminology it's a nightmare that's why when they built the aventador they went to a hard top system because this is a joke this is equivalent to you know when you're a kid and you're in like boy scouts or you're going out camping with your dad doing real camping not glamping you're not in an rv you're in a tent and you have to set the tent up well if anyone's ever gone camping and you've set a tent up you know it comes with those stick like metal twigs that you have to click all together and then you have to put the tent over top of that you know push it through the holes that is what the roof on an lp or mercy roadster looks like so it has all these weird metal it's just like one of those tents that you struggled as a kid to have and then you have this soft top that lays over top and to put it on it's like a 20 minute procedure it's brutal brutal so the whole goal is to have one of these cars somewhere like california because then you never have to put it on i don't think there's too many people that leave it on is there well a lot of people just leave it in their garage but look at this thing do you even know how to put it on yeah yeah put it down we'll lay it out let's show them how much of a nightmare this is by the way look what else is here in the showroom the 488 og tire slayer reincarnation is back in canada as well these guys bought this car back off of us because they really wanted that true dd inspired livery on a car that was built this car has everything done it's twin turbo already as you know from the factory it has upgraded downpipes it has a exhaust it's tuned it sounds amazing quick and then it's got this absolutely insane wide body kit on it with the ferrari race wing and the ferrari wide body mirrors right over here so this car has it all our boys at al13 made these beautiful two-tone forged wheels like a homage throwback to my old design but yeah have you had much fun in this thing yet no i'm gonna take it out this week you gotta start driving this thing this car is in pristine condition you know even usually after we've driven it for a little bit the front splitter gets beat up some of the wrap on the front gets beat up this car is mint as it sits so you guys are going to enjoy it you're going to be using it for charity cherry right dream rally dream rally what's dream rally dates this year because everybody that can make it should make it up here for that july 30th dream rally is so july 30th if you guys want to come to clone of british columbia this is a beautiful place to vacation you can be a part of the massive august dvd dream rally foundation this is fundraising for children's hospital it's going to be just a great time plus they take a lot of kids in need and put them in the cars and they basically assign a kid with a car and a driver we do this fun rally from here to penticton is that still the goal yeah we're gonna have a great time you guys come out and definitely factory because they did this back in the day and it was like older technology alcantara now i think they have a better format to be able to make the alcantara like withstand the beating get a roadster would be cool dave's loving the black lp coupe dude that car's gonna be so sick by the way huge shout out to anybody who's a mclaren fan these are very rare and limited only 500 were ever produced 675 lt is an all carbon chassis super raw bare bones basically race car for the street this is one of the most aggressive suspensions i've ever driven in dave's car is truly in beautiful immaculate condition we even went as far as getting a factory oem full carbon fiber louvered fender to replace the non-louvered fenders so this is an upgrade afterwards and that is the oem wing that was originally painted but we were told that if you remove the paint properly you can lacquer it and clear coat it and have the exposed carbon show carbon from mclaren is so good that if you remove the paint you can clear coat it and it turns out beautifully just like this so that's factory yeah done in the satin clear and this is dave's car that had just basically the uh the paint removed off of it and look how good the carbon looks it's um it's impressive it's really impressive so perfect carbon weave this car is for sale here you guys august larger motor cars hit up billionaire my call if you're in the market for a good drivers 6m5 lt this is the car for you hit these boys up i this car won't last very long dave needed a v12 in his life he really did he also needed like oh like that that's to the car even more horsepower yeah no more than that because this is 15 or 1600 to the wheels so this car is making like 1850 to the to the crank tire yeah power to that car the tire slider only had about a thousand really yes oh okay why get back here scared the hell out of me could you imagine and this one is double the horsepower i can't imagine i've driven this car i can't wait to see you hold the camera by the way if you have a mouth guard because i don't want you eating the lens come on get in here buddy let's do this oh she sounds pissed off what is that hand sanitizer from sr must've been left in the door i'm gonna go ahead and put this into corsa keep hey get your hands off here can we start in this this no we have to drive it in this mode and then you also have to go up here believe it or not you have to take traction control all the way off there is traction control trolled in motec motec controls it all the car ecu's don't aren't in here anymore so you have to put these parameters on and then the car is in basically it's full race mode but it does have traction we're going to warm everything up we're going to warm up the gear oil we're going to warm up the transmission the clutch and all that sort of stuff and we'll warm mike up too while we're at it night lights might experiment red light red light red light what are you doing just warming it up it's not even fast that's warming it up that's that's very much that was not warming it up okay i'm trying to find a place to grab there's nowhere to grab in here you're good you're good you got quite the that was okay with that you were okay with that so there she is a couple of turbos all heat wrapped and right here is where we can plug in to the motec using the ethernet there we go as you guys can driven in dave's car is truly in beautiful immaculate condition we even went as far as getting a factory oem full carbon fiber louvered fender to replace the non-louvered fenders so this is an upgrade afterwards and that is the oem wing that was originally painted but we were told that if you remove the paint properly you can lacquer it and clear coat it and have the exposed carbon show carbon from mclaren is so good that if you remove the paint you can clear coat it and it turns out beautifully just like this so that's factory yeah done in the satin clear and this is dave's car that had just basically the uh the paint removed off of it and look how good the carbon looks it's um it's impressive it's really impressive so perfect carbon weave this car is for sale here you guys august larger the crank tire yeah power to that car the tire slider only had about a thousand really yes oh okay why get back here scared the hell out of me could you imagine and this one is double the horsepower i drive it in this mode and then you also have to go up here believe it or not you have to take traction control all the way off there is traction control trolled in motec motec controls it all the car ecu's don't aren't in here anymore so you have to put these parameters on and then the car is in basically it's full race mode but it does have traction we're going to warm everything up we're going to warm up the gear oil we're going to warm up the transmission the clutch and all that sort of stuff and we'll warm mike up too while we're at it night lights might experiment red light red light red
