Bookshelf Reorganization!!!

The Art of Bookshelf Reorganization: A Personal Journey

As I sit in front of my camera, I can feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. The lighting in this room is not ideal, with only a little natural light peeking through the rain-soaked windows. But despite the less-than-ideal conditions, I'm thrilled to be sharing with you all the process of reorganizing my bookshelf – something that's become an integral part of my reading routine.

For me, there's nothing quite like watching people reorganize their bookshelves. It's a ritual that brings me great joy and satisfaction. There's something therapeutic about sorting through books, categorizing them by color or theme, and creating a visually pleasing display. And so, I decided to take on this task myself – not just for the sake of organization, but also because I wanted to share my passion with all of you.

So, let's start with the basics. I separated my TBR (To Be Read) books from my red books. The TBR books are all arranged in a rainbow order, while the red books are stored on a separate shelf. This arrangement makes it easy for me to keep track of the books I need to read next. When I'm sitting on my bed, which is usually where I spend most of my reading time, I can simply glance at my TBR bookshelf and see what's waiting for me.

The red books, on the other hand, are a special section that showcases all the books I've already finished. And let me tell you, there are a lot of them! With five shelves dedicated to these completed books, it's clear that I take pride in my reading experience. In fact, I started this year with around 90 books on my TBR list – a goal that I'm happy to say I've already surpassed. And yes, I do want to get down to zero by the end of next year – a challenge that I'll be tracking my progress towards.

Now, let's talk about the shelf itself. It's quite large and needed some careful planning before it could be installed. As you can see behind me, there are books stacked up high – a testament to the need for extra space on this particular bookshelf. Unfortunately, three of these larger books don't fit on the shelf, which means I'll need to make room for them soon. But that's okay – I'm looking forward to reading and completing those remaining books.

As I put the finishing touches on my reorganized bookshelf, I have to say how much I love it. The rainbow colors create a visually appealing display that's almost too pretty to handle. And yes, I know some of you might be thinking, "Why not just take a selfie with your newly organized bookshelf?" Well, let me tell you – while that sounds like fun, it's not exactly the most creative or engaging way to share my passion for reading.

So, what do I hope from this video? Well, first and foremost, I hope that it inspires you all to get your own books in order. Whether it's a bookshelf reorganization or simply a good old-fashioned decluttering session, I believe that taking control of our belongings can have a profound impact on our mental health and well-being.

Of course, I also hope that this video brings a smile to your face – perhaps by sharing my own quirks and habits as a reader. Who knows? Maybe we'll discover some common ground or shared passion for book organization. And who knows what the future holds? Perhaps one of you will inspire me with your own reorganization project – I'd love to hear about it.

As I wrap up this video, I want to thank you all for joining me on this journey through my bookshelf reorganization process. It's been a pleasure sharing my passion with you, and I hope that you'll join me again soon for more reading-related adventures.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys sorry about the crappy lighting right now it's really rainy outside so there's not much natural light but as you can kind of tell behind me things are different I reorganized my bookshelf and I actually filmed a bookshelf reorganization I haven't edited edited it yet or like looked at any of the footage so I don't know if it's crappy but yeah that's going to be today's video I really like watching people reorganize them their bookshelves just cuz I'm weird like that but yeah that's why I decided to do it so basically what I did was I separated my TBR and my red books so here I have my TBR books they are all in their own uh rainbow order and I have them separated on this shelf because when I'm sitting on my bed which is usually where I read and I finish a book then I can just look to my shelf and be like here are all the books I have to read still so it's kind of motivation um and then on this shelf I have all of my red books so these are all the books that I've already finished and luckily the um red books outnumber the TBR books I'm not sure exactly numbers but I do know that there's 1 2 3 four five shelves of red books as opposed to three shelves of TBR books so I'm actually really happy about that um maybe I'll count them for you guys let's count my TBR 72 books on my TBR in total which is pretty good I started the year off with I think it was like 90 something books so I'm happy with that although I do want to get it down to zero for 0 by 16 um if you guys do want a TBR shelf tour then I'll do that for you guys just let me know down below if you want that um I'm not going to do like a full bookshelf tour because I just did one in January even though it's changed I don't feel like doing it again bookshelf tours are a lot of work so yeah I hope you guys enjoy this video and yeah let's go oh that light is so great so if you're you're wondering why there are books sorted up here it's because since I need big books to hold up this shelf I have to plan out this one before I can actually put it there so yeah that's that shelf but I'm just going to put it there after I'm done that shelf okay so my TBR shelves are done so as you can see right at the top it fills three shelves and then there are three books that don't fit on the Shelf which is really really annoying so I'm going to have to read three books that size so then they will fit on my freaking TBR shelves cuz I don't want it to get bigger than three shelves although it's going to because I have a couple of books coming in but yeah look at how pretty I really like it because it's like all a rainbow right there I think it's going to look nice in videos yeah now I have to put my red books on and I'm also going to take off the little stickers since they're all together now but yeah yeah how fun he aah ahey guys sorry about the crappy lighting right now it's really rainy outside so there's not much natural light but as you can kind of tell behind
