**The Pack Leader**
If you're reading this, you'll be my leader of the pack next week and the first 5 comments you'll get in my famous "5". So, where are you and what are you doing? I like your style, mate! Send her into the shops, new it watch the midweek 180. Excellent, but wherever you are right now and whatever you're doing, put it in the comments below, and I'll give you a shout-out next week.
**Last Week's Question**
Last week's question was basically if you had a car, a driver, and a track what would you choose? There were some brilliant suggestions, but Simon W came up with two brilliant ones that were both very scary. The first one was Colin McRae in his last Subaru WRC car going around Grizedale forest - "I now be epic and incredibly scary." And the second one was even better: on the back of Kevin Schwantz's bike going round the Donington Grand Prix circuit. You'd need new pants after both of those!
**This Week's Question**
This week's question is very simple, yet engaging for petrolheads in England, where restrictions were recently lifted, allowing people to go out and about, including driving. So, if you went out for a drive this week, how far did you go? How was it? Did you have problems with your car not wanting to start, or maybe a flat tire? Let me know!
**F1 News and Predictions**
Last week's F1 news and predictions were all about Formula One. I made some predictions last week, which were pretty much perfect, science going right! Rakata went to the right place, but unfortunately, Alonso's move to Renault is still pending, with Fabio Brewer Torre hinting at it. This could be interesting. Also, Vettel seems likely to retire, and I just can't see him fitting into any seat.
**British Grand Prix Update**
The British Grand Prix had recently negotiated for two Grands Prix in the summer, both behind closed doors, which would have been epic. However, with the latest government restrictions enforcing a 14-day quarantine for people traveling into the UK, this might put those plans under jeopardy unless an exemption is granted to Formula One participants. If that's not possible, we may not have a British Grand Prix this year, which is just a nightmare.
**Dealership Challenges**
This week, I was hit by restrictions while trying to test drive a cool car. Unfortunately, the insurance deal only worked if it was an accompanying drive, and since my wife did the shopping at the time, we couldn't do it under those conditions due to social distancing rules. This means the review has been put back until social distancing rules are relaxed a bit more. I think this will be a challenge for smaller car dealers, as they often can't accommodate test drives with two people in the same household.
**Charlie Clubman Updates**
There's exciting news about Charlie Clubman! Frye video is getting some more bling, and Mrs. Petrol has one more chroming mod she wants to do - the "chroming mod that I want to do". The conversations are underway for the first proper performance mod for Charlie Clapping, which should be super exciting soon.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys and welcome to petrol ped and welcome to this week's midweek 180 well honestly I think this is one of the most beautiful days we've had yet in fact this spring is one of the best I can remember it certainly makes it easier to deal with lockdown that's for sure but if you've not seen one of these before this is my midweek update where I bring you my news views and information about upcoming reviews all filmed in warm take I'm gonna 180 second in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and that's it a very simple format so without further ado let's get cracking with this week's midweek 180 I shall start my timer ok leader of the pack last week with simon w congratulations sir joined in the famous 5 by simon davy harry archer kevie 4 to 7 and francois jie whoever puts the first comment this week you will be my leader of the pack next week and the first 5 comments you will be in my famous 5 now then where are you and what you're doing well that was my mate in the US of A Colton clever ringer who was in at car park of a grocery store with his kids in the car while his wife did the shopping I like your style mate send her into the shops new it watch the midweek 180 excellent but wherever you are right now and whatever you're doing put it in the comments below and I'll give you a shout-out next week now then last week's question first one was Colin McRae in his last Subaru WRC car going around Grizedale forest I now be epic and incredibly scary and the second one was even better and on the back of Kevin Schwantz his bike going round the Donington Grand Prix circuit the motor of the British motorbike Grand Prix yes you'd need new pants after both of those and now this week's question very simple in England the restrictions were lifted a little bit and we are allowed to go out and about and do some driving so if you went out for a drive this week where did he go how far did you go how good was it let me know how much you enjoyed actually getting out in your car and how many of you had problems maybe with a car not wanting to start off flat tire or something and now then last week was very much f1 based I did some f1 predictions last week and I got them pretty much perfect science going to the right place and Rakata going to the right place the only thing that needs to fall in place now is Alonso going to Renault and I believe talks are underway Fabio Brewer Torre has alluded to the fact so that would be quite interesting and I do think now Vettel is going to retire I just can't see there's a seat for him anywhere but this week's news the British Grand Prix had very recently negotiated to British Grand Prix's in the summer both behind closed doors which would have been epic however the latest government restrictions that are going to come in place which basically enforce a 14 day quarantine for people traveling into the UK are gonna put that under jeopardy unless anyone involved in the Formula One can be exempt from that 14-day rule and if that exemption isn't the case then I'm afraid we aren't gonna have a British Grand Prix this year which is just a nightmare so we'll see I mean we haven't had any Grand Prix racing at all yet and if we can get this biosphere thing going on but that would be incredibly incredibly sad and also this week I was hit a little bit by restrictions I was due to test drive a very cool car this week but at the last minute we realised that the insurance of the dealer only worked if it was an accompany drive and we couldn't do in a company drive because of social distancing so we've had to basically put the the review back until social distancing rules are relaxed a little bit and I think that is gonna prove I think those rules are going to prove massively problematic for smaller car dealers in that you can't do a you can't do a test drive with two people in a car if they're not in the same household because of this current social distancing rules so for me that's a real pain because I honestly thought I would be back to doing car reviews much much sooner than I expected but I think that's gonna be a challenge now unless its main dealers because main dealers sometimes allow you out on a company but you know smaller dealers that's a really really big problem for the industry and I'd be interesting to see how dealers deal with it anyway I am over time now but just very briefly to let you know about Frye video Charlie clubbin is getting some more blinging up as mrs. petrol pets yes I've got one more the chroming mod that I want to do - Charlie Clubman and I'm in conversations' at the moment for the first what I would call really proper performance mod for Charlie clapping hopefully in the next week or two now that is super exciting but anyway I hope you enjoyed that one if you have them so please give me a thumbs up comments below are always welcome and if you haven't done so already please subscribe to petrol pet for plenty more content to come I'll see on the next film which is actually tomorrow night peddlers rides which is all about more minis and then Friday night Charlie Clubman getting some
