**Junk Journaling Haul: Exploring New Creations and Finds**

As I sat down to work on my latest junk journal, I couldn't help but feel excited about the various new creations and finds that I had accumulated. One of my favorite parts of junk journaling is the process of exploring new materials and techniques, and today's haul was no exception.

**Fabric Interior**

I began by lining the inside of my journal with fabric, a decision that paid off in spades as it added a unique texture and visual interest to the pages. I opted for a combination of tape and glue to secure the fabric in place, creating a beautiful and cohesive interior that would serve as the perfect backdrop for my journaling endeavors.

**Gnomes and Christmas Decorations**

As I opened up my collection of gnomes, I was delighted to find a variety of festive decorations that seemed tailor-made for the holiday season. Each one was carefully crafted with intricate details and patterns, inviting me to cut them out and use them in my journaling process. One particular design caught my eye - a busy, striped print that seemed like it would be perfect for adding some visual interest to a page.

**Wall Borders and Teaching Tools**

A trip to Dollar Tree revealed a treasure trove of wall borders and teaching tools that I simply couldn't resist incorporating into my collection. These small, yet mighty finds were designed to be used as decorative accents or craft materials, but I saw them as the perfect additions to add some visual flair to my journal pages.

**Strawberry Collection**

As I sifted through my stash of junk journal supplies, I came across a collection of strawberry-themed items that left me feeling giddy with excitement. These small, cute pieces were destined for future use in a strawberry-inspired junk journal, and I couldn't wait to see how they would fit into the overall design.

**Star Wars Care Packages**

In a surprising turn of events, my haul included a batch of Star Wars-themed cards that seemed perfect for creating care packages or special treats. Each one was carefully designed with iconic characters from the beloved franchise, inviting me to cut them out and use them as embellishments or journaling prompts.

**Sweets Themed Decorations**

Last but not least, I stumbled upon a stash of sweets-themed decorations that put a smile on my face. These small, colorful pieces seemed perfect for adding some whimsy and fun to my journal pages, and I couldn't wait to see how they would fit into the overall design.

**A Day in the Life**

As I worked through this haul, I found myself feeling more and more relaxed - it was clear that today's junk journaling session was going to be a special one. Whether I'm exploring new materials or simply finding joy in the process of creation, there's something therapeutic about junk journaling that always leaves me feeling energized and inspired.

haul I gotta tell you guys about all all my problems because you're gonna be my my counselors and therapists for the day so please do diagnose um in the comment section below but I feel like I'm stuck between the movie The Money Pit and then just some like House of Horrors combination the amount of problems that I've had I'm I'm in a laughing phase but pretty soon it'll be a crying face so just be prepared for that I had a whole irrigation system issue where my lawn guys they they'll adjust like the sprinklers for you based off of like what they want to water or whatever and I guess someone must have added a sixth Zone because there's not a six cell it did a lot of damage a lot of steam a lot of heat a lot of melting things and I had to have an irrigation company come out here twice and on the second time they realized set for a sixth Zone which I've been watering since I've lived here and this never happens because there's never been six zones but I digress so that's been a thing now there's a plumbing issue part two as well how'd a plumber come out here they're not cheap that was fun and now they're coming back out because everything's bubbling nothing's flushing and and they're taught they're telling me about some type of sewer and I'm like I I didn't deal with this in the Dallas suburbs so I'm gonna guess that between the last plumber and now what they're probably gonna charge me is going to Total a thousand and I'm just Texas just looks real good right about now you know what I mean it's also one of those days where absolutely everything seems to be going wrong Loki came at me full speed there wasn't any time to react I got a boo-boo here which hurts really bad but really the base of my spine and me sitting on this hard ground bad idea but that happened this morning and let me tell you I've never seen my legs in the air like higher than than me higher than my eyes but yet there they were so if I have to stop this haul in the middle of all this it's because the plumber is probably going to show up I wonder what next week's problem is going to be or my trees can I just like fall over like in the movie Money Pit or and because everyone knows I'm obviously missing homes it's home all of this doesn't quite help so as my therapist counselors please leave your words of wisdom and uh I'm gonna show you guys what I found I found some really cute stuff like stuff that I'm brand new stuff but actually let me show you this first I've already hauled this but as I was going back through all my decor and I was getting everything cleaned up I don't know why I ended up grabbing these this year I'm actually going to pull them back down and I want to style them somewhere I'm not sure where I think these will be really cute actually for Thanksgiving so I'm gonna try to find a way to like work them maybe into the kitchen nook but you're looking at Cherry Pie because it I had it got damaged when I was just like I put it with all my fall stuff and then I must put something on top of it so there was like a hole in it so and I knew I mean I love these so much probably my favorite full find of the entire year from Dollar Tree and there's like apple pie there's a bunch of pumpkin pie Cherry Pie and I forget what the fourth one was but cherry pie was the one that got damaged I think so so I had to get a replacement then I picked up some of the Bells which I've actually been looking for these these little bells are so cute and you don't get very many to a pack but you do get multiple sizes there's a large medium and small and then the smalls are super tiny here is the large and the green these are just going to be great for so many cute little DIYs nope here's the medium so I am and small I'm gonna use these this year for two different things I'm gonna use them for my junk journals I think little bells on your planners like on your tassels that whole thing bells are a must I love the sound of bells whenever I decorate I decorate with sight sound and smell so I love hearing little bells around Christmas time I'm also going to use them for just four I don't know how exactly but they're so rustic and beautiful that I want to work them in so if you have any suggestions let me know other than obviously like maybe attaching them to ornaments um I'm thinking more not on the tree more like off the tree I don't know but something so so there's that then I found these Halloween trick-or-treat bags which my stores and now these are stores that I go to several times a week so we're two weeks out from Halloween and these are like just newly put out that's that's what you get with Dollar Tree you're always rolling the dice you never know what's gonna happen these little bags are so amazing and I'm gonna use them in my junk Journal I'm gonna do another live soon so if you've been waiting for that and you want a junk Journal like your October daily with me it's happening soon and we're gonna use some of these so they're so cute you get eight pieces in here but obviously these are also really great if you just want to fill them up with goodies your neighbor co-worker child's teacher whatever or if like this is how you want to hand out Halloween candy I don't really know is that do people do that but maybe that's maybe like sketchy maybe it's like you'd rather like see the candy because you're like what's in there like Anthrax you know who remembers that scare wasn't that a thing in the 90s anyways whatever so so there's that and then I grabbed this little Halloween book I love that my Dollar Tree put out like a whole little display of coloring books and activity books that were all Halloween related they kept it away from you know like the normal everyday book stuff just makes it easier to shop and it's smart like people are more likely going to buy these things if they know you know that's like right there instead of having to hunt for but funny that I opened this page because this little house image I pretty much got it for that I know I'm gonna find a bunch of really cute other images but it was really the only one that I saw because I just kind of like opened it and peeked in and when I saw this house I knew I was gonna cut it out and use it in my junk Journal so I got that then I picked up some more books now honestly I've also been going to thrift stores come back tomorrow because I'm gonna do a fabulous Thrift haul and you'll see some of the Fantastic books that I've found and they end up being way cheaper than 1.25 plus they have character you know they have that like smell they have the weathered look but I do like the fresh new look to Dollar Tree books as well on Saturday finally I'm gonna be releasing my office makeover and you will really get to see why I've been hauling these and it'll all kind of like make sense from a decorating perspective but when I shop for Dollar Tree books I'm looking at the color of the book this yellow one is stunning and then this one which I got two of is beautiful it's a cream with a green Edge to it and this is how I display my books so I can also turn it around if I wanted to but I go this way because it just has more of a simple Farmhouse look so I just need to get a couple more little books then I found some brand new cleaning supplies now as you can see they need the broom attachment which I already bought I bought one of those sponge squeegee things for my window which I did a hack on I'll link that video down below go watch it because my windows y'all are crystal clear there's no needing to dry them nothing it is a fabulous Hack That I Found Someone talked about on Tick Tock so anyways I found this this is a microfiber fan Duster look at that so it's got this opening in there that you can just slip through slip the blade through and then like that's amazing I can't wait to try this I actually need to be doing this and then this one is called a cobweb Duster which in the photo they have it kind of sweeping through the vents I picked up another one of these candles I hold it in the last video and I raved about it this is the green apple and basil and I didn't smell it in the store why is my there we go I smelled this one on camera and I was just blown away it's fabulous yeah I'm gonna as I keep going back to Dollar Tree it'll be one of those things where I'll grab another one another one and just kind of keep a stock of them so then I picked up these sticker are these planner sticker pads the thing about these that I can't ever remember because they always look the same is are they new are they not new have I hauled them and I feel like this one I have not hauled it must be a new print that's come out so a lot of cute little things and as you can see this looks like it's made for the happy planner like that's pretty awesome or if you just like if you're not into it I know when Micah was in Middle School they assigned planners um to the kids so this could be something if they do the same thing for your kids at school but yeah so as you can see they are specifically made for planners we have all the fun things so there's that one this one has more of like adult chic to it I guess a lot of gold foil details and just a reminder the price was a dollar 25. and when you deal with planner stuff um when you go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby it gets it's not a dollar 25 for a booklet like this so please look like and these are also gonna be great for bullet journaling too so keep that in mind if like that's your out your poison all right so we've got those then I found some new fidgets um which I'm still shook that Dollar Tree sells fidgets because I know how popular they are right now and now they've released notebooks no and different colors different shapes and and they you they're the kind like you pop this so the covers have the fidget but then you get the notebook inside and you're gonna get different colors plus each color is going to have their own unique shape so that is really cute the heart is yellow I like that I like that the heart wasn't pink or red you know it's just nice to get a little change so that yeah these are brand new so if you're like fidgets or you're into all that go check out Dollar Tree then I found these which are also brand new and they're called card holders what I mean I wish the designs were a little bit different but still the concept of a card holder like what are they what do you mean by that oh okay maybe like your ID or how would you okay so the slot is there so yeah so that's pretty cool you get the whole lanyard effect there so then you also get this one which is a butterfly some cute flowers very fun and then the cat this cat is a mood and this is how I'm feeling today and then we've got what looks like a sloth these would actually be cute for planners as well so if you want to you don't have to just use them traditionally some body butter I feel like it's been a while since I've hauled any sort of beauty product from Dollar Tree and I found these and they immediately caught my attention and both of them have different colored butter this one's a peach and this one's a pink and so the peach one is sage and Cedar scented very pretty I love how it looks like henna oh look at that look at my mistake I didn't open it and it looks like maybe somebody opened it so that's not good so make sure you're opening it okay perfectly sealed and I'm gonna go ahead and see if I can't poke a hole through this and smell this wow I'm gonna tell y'all straight up rose scented it does smell like roses now I don't know if it's just me personally but this smells cheap to me so but definitely if you're into rose stuff definitely smell it very smooth I'm gonna see if it's sticky but I don't like anything floral scented and but to me just has a cheap smell let me go ahead and smell this one but I don't want to touch it Cedar and Sage yeah I'm definitely getting I'm definitely getting that definitely has a strong like like a manly scent to it so I found those and then I've got the fabrics for Christmas which I'm so excited about because I use these in my junk journals if you watch my lives which they're available to go back and watch I used the Halloween ones and I lined the inside of my junk journal with fabric and I think I did it with tape so it was um and it stuck so well I mean obviously it's gonna work even better with like fabric glue but let's see let's open them up and see what they look like so we got the little gnomes clearly we're going to get gnomes this year for Christmas I don't know if these are the same exact prints from last year although some of them are looking pretty familiar this one I love I love how busy it is I think it's so cute and you can cut out like the fact that some of them have like these little squares you could just cut out little pieces and journal with them then we have the Buffalo check not gonna open that because it's gonna be the same same with this one has the stripe kind of like a Christmas candy store with that one and then this one looks like it's going to be the little red truck with a night time effect which I'm definitely going to be using that in my December daily which I'm going to also be um journaling live with you guys and I'll be using stuff from my kit um so if you have bought my kits you can follow along with me on the lives or um you can order one which is available my Etsy shop this one is probably my favorite I really love the little red truck but something about this one I've been dying to open it and I love it I think I have like a soft spot for candy canes sorry that the lighting is like adjusting but I have a soft spot for candy canes so so there's that now these wall borders if you're not new to my channel then you know I love looking at the wall borders and the Teaching Tree section of Dollar Tree let me show you the print that I just found you can definitely cut these down to size they're just gonna be really cute clearly they're made for a teacher's like wall and they use them as borders um but you can also use these to craft with and the strawberries I'm saving as I'm like seeing things that are strawberries I'm going to be doing a strawberry junk Journal so I'm just kind of collecting as I see things so I got three and as always I like ending my hauls with the cards now these are really fun because I found a bunch of Star Wars why did that just sound very bizarre but I found a bunch of Star Wars cards and I'm so excited so first we get Rey herself with Luke's saber kind of hoping she had like the yellow one in the end but there she is I use these to also journal with like it says birthday girl and stuff but I can cover it up with paper or I can just kind of cut around and use just that image because I'm also gonna be doing a Star Wars um junk Journal so I'm Gonna Save that and then we've got Darth Vader and a stormtrooper the eight is for an eighth birthday but very easy to just kind of cut this out and use that and then we've got Chewbacca and then I got Chewbacca which this one's very easy you can just see that would be easy to just add another strip of construction paper over this and I can write whatever I want or not even write it can add little Embellishments whatever it is but I love this card so I'm saving it and then I just found this one I just like picking cards that I think are really cute that I might end up using and especially the ones that like don't have any writing they just make it a lot easier to work with um and journal with but like look at the inside has sprinkles so this one's such a gem so if you want to do like a sweets themed super cute I've also used cards for care packages so here is one of Micah's care packages um she's already opened it um I sent it to her I think when she was at tech and as you can see I used a Dollar Tree card and I put it at the bottom as part of the decorations so she didn't get to see the card until she removed everything so then once everything was out of the box this was how it looked so that's going to be it for today's video I really wanted to come on here and have a completely different energy but this is it this is my day I'm just having one of those days that's it sometimes you just you just have those off days that's what I'm having
