**Why You Need a Fidget Pin**
You might be wondering why you need a fidget pen, right? Well, it's like this: when you're in class and you like to mess around with stuff, that's what a fidget pen is for. It's an extra toy on your pen that lets you have something to play with while you're learning.

To make a fidget pen, all you need is some hot glue and this BIC Atlantis pen. The reason we use this pen is because it has a top that spins, making it easy to create a spinner on the top.
**Step 1: Preparing the Spinner**
So, how do we make the spinner? Well, when you push the top down, it goes down but there's still a little bit of the top that can be left off. To fix this, you need to put a little layer of hot glue on the top part, making sure not to get it on anywhere else so your spinner will work.

Once you've applied the hot glue, let it dry. Then, we're going to cut off the middle piece of the pen right here (pointing to the relevant section). You can use a razor blade or just break it off carefully - it's not too hard at first, but be careful.

So, step two is making sure you have this grip right here. You're going to want to cut it with a razor blade - make sure you have adult supervision. There's this line right here where they infuse it together, and that side is the biggest side so you're going to want to cut on that side.
**Adding Hot Glue**
Once you've cut out a little square, you can put your next piece to the spinner into it. Then, you go ahead and get some hot glue - make sure you don't make any like ripples or anything just a nice fine little strand of hot glue so that it won't disrupt anything.

What we're doing right now is we're going to put some glue right on this spot that Ben didn't make - and then what you should do is get the scissors and kind of put it on there so it's a smoother kind of rest for your hand.

All right, so last thing you could you need to do for this (you don't have to but) you know what we're doing is you make a squiggly line just around the pin - and you can just follow it with your finger probably do. And then when you're done just you can make any more modifications that you want.
