side I would say the minimum amount of ram that you should look when you're buying a new smartphone especially for gaming is about 1.5 GB or more next if you move to the screen size again screen size is a personal opinion and I have used a lot of uh devices but I feel that uh below screen size of 4.8 in it gets a little bit difficult for gaming because uh your hands and fingers can cover most part part of the screen so I would say anything over 4.8 in also would be ideal again if you have large hands obviously a 5.5 in or even a 6-in phone would be ideal for you one more thing that I have noticed is that when you do a lot of gaming the screen gets lot uh smudged up very quickly so also look if the device that you're buying has hoph phobic coating that will also help next if we move to the screen resolution this is also important I would say you need very high resolution screens like a 2K screen or even a 1080p screen yes it's nice to have a 1080P or a 2K screen but strictly for gaming you don't need very high resolution screen in fact I would say a decent 720P HD screen is also very good and particularly if you are looking for the mid-range budget I would say uh the screen resolution a 720p screen resolution is a very good idea because the higher the screen resolution the more load it puts on the GPU that way you need to have a lot more powerful GPU uh if you have a higher resolution screen so just make note of that so I would say in the mid-range Market a 720P HD screen should be good enough next I also feel that the battery life should be very good because when you do gaming it drains the battery very quickly so make sure the battery life is also very good on the device that you're going to purchase also keep a note on the internal storage because if you like to install a lot of games then the internal storage uh should be good enough so that you can install a lot of games and lastly again I would say also if you're buying a new smartphone uh look for a smartphone that has 4G because these days some of the new games uh you can play the multiplayer part even on mobile data and particularly I found that the experience was a lot better on 4G in fact I would say go when you're buying a new smartphone as of now go with the smartphone that has 4G because 4G is way faster than 3G we have 4G here in Hyderabad and as you can see uh again uh with a 4G in Hyderabad I can get a speed of anywhere between 15 megabits to even about 20 25 megabit or so so it's way faster than 3G and also the latency is a lot lower hence even when you do other casual stuff like browsing Etc it's way faster and more responsive also in terms of video chat for example I used video chats with Hangouts and Skype with 4G and the experience was a lot better compared to 3G so
