Should You Play Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare [60fps]

The Author's Experience with Modern Warfare

I've been enjoying playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and I have to say, it's one of the best games that has come out in recent months. The game is quite different from its predecessors, with a new exoskeleton system that makes the gameplay feel more realistic. However, there is one issue that some players are experiencing - the frame rate is capped at 90 frames per second (FPS), which can cause micro stuttering when playing on high-end graphics cards.

I'm running my monitor at 144 FPS and I've noticed that the game is not syncing properly, resulting in almost 30 skipped frames. This isn't a huge issue for me, but it's still frustrating to see frames being dropped. The author of this article has also found that turning off NVIDIA's adaptive vsync feature fixes the micro stuttering problem, but the frame rate still drops occasionally.

Despite this issue, the game is overall very enjoyable and well-balanced. The multiplayer mode is quite varied, with maps ranging from small, tight spaces to large, open areas. Some of these maps have random events that add an extra layer of excitement to the gameplay. The author notes that some of these events are similar to those found in DLC for other Call of Duty games.

One of the standout features of Modern Warfare is its new exoskeleton system. This allows players to upgrade their characters with new abilities and perks, making the gameplay feel more immersive and realistic. The author believes that this system has improved the overall quality of the game, making it feel more like a Call of Duty game than other first-person shooters.

The author also notes that the campaign mode is currently locked at 65 FPS, but they're unsure if this will be changed in future updates. However, the multiplayer mode is uncapped, allowing players to experience smoother gameplay. The author concludes that Modern Warfare is definitely worth playing for fans of the Call of Duty series, and it's one of the best games to come out recently.

Overall, the author is very positive about their experience with Modern Warfare. They note that the game has changed significantly from its predecessors, but in a good way. The new features and gameplay mechanics have improved the overall quality of the game, making it feel more immersive and realistic. While there are some issues with frame rate and stuttering, these can be mitigated by turning off certain graphics settings or using other workarounds.

Recommendation

If you're thinking about picking up Modern Warfare, I would definitely recommend it. It's a great Call of Duty game that builds on the series' formula while introducing new features and gameplay mechanics. While it may not be perfect, the author believes that it's one of the best games to come out recently. Whether or not you're a fan of the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare is definitely worth checking out.

Conclusion

The author's experience with Modern Warfare has been very positive. They've enjoyed playing the game and appreciate its improvements over previous titles in the series. While there are some minor issues with frame rate and stuttering, these can be easily mitigated by using certain workarounds or adjusting graphics settings. Overall, I would highly recommend Modern Warfare to fans of first-person shooters and the Call of Duty series.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat is up guys and welcome to should you play Call of Duty Advanced Warfare you may have already seen my initial Impressions video that was based on the PlayStation 4 version of this game but now I've got my hands on the PC game and we can give you my full Impressions and verdict and this will actually probably be the first proper proper review I've done because I completed the campaign and played or about 20 hours of the multiplayer across both platforms so it's going to be quite in depth what you're seeing here is just a little bit of the campaign you see we still have some of those classic press FS press left Mouse button things like that which is quite annoying personally I'd rather just watch a cut scene but it's not too much of a big deal the graphics are pretty good actually for a Call of Duty game they are a lot better in the campaign than they are in the actual multiplayer I'll show you the options menu in a minute and I'll also go through some of the issues that I've had with the game how to fix the and generally talk about the quality of the port but the campaign quality is actually quite good the main reason that I went through and actually played all of it was mainly because of the whole Kevin Spacey thing obviously I did kind of need to do it as I'm doing a review of it anyway but I will say I actually did enjoy it it lasted me between i' call it maybe about 7 8 hours maybe a little bit longer than that I was playing it through on Veterans so it will take me longer than normal and I apart from One mission on a bridge I did actually find that the whole veteran experience is better than it used to be and that you don't get that horrible thing where you get load of enemies spawning all over the place and you can't actually do anything about it this is the options menu this is the campaign options menu they are independent which is quite annoying they don't carry across so we've got loads of your basic options that you'd expect including the optimal video button but if we go into the advanced video section you'll see a screen refresh rate which does nothing for me doesn't matter what one I put it on it's always 120 htz vsync aspect rate all that stuff if you select texture on manual then you can put all the textures on extra which is going to be the highest settings Shadows leave those two things off there for some reason they just completely mck up the game and they reduce your textures and things like that so all of these options obviously have a play around with it's quite easy to run the game it doesn't look as good as some of the other games that come out but for a game like this I think I'd rather trade that visual Fidelity for smoothness and I'm sure a lot of people would as well but the campaign isn't disappointing by any stretch of the imaginations and the C and the multiplayer is more than good enough it's not going to stretch your rig but it's definitely more than good enough I could actually run this game at a solid 60 frames a second in 4k which is something I can't do on a lot of the other platforms and I just died so should you play the game well the campaign like I say is good and I did enjoy it but obviously people are going to buy it for this the multiplayer and there are quite a nice amount of new features you've got the this big exo suit on that you can then boost around the map um double jump and things like that it's not the same as Titanfall and to be honest it while it's different it's a different experience it's more focused obviously on the soldier Combat on the floor I do find myself wanting to kind of like jump off walls and things like that and um because I'm so used to Titanfall and I just can't which is a tad annoying but obviously it's completely different game and if they were the same then people would just say well it's exactly the same as Titanfall which of course would be true um I'm not too bad at multiplayer I'm definitely better on PC than I am on PlayStation 4 just cuz the mouse and keyboard is the easier way to play once you get used to it I'm not there's not much of a debate there really uh mouse and keyboard just has more I really should stop jumping off mouse and keyboard it obviously is just more accurate but the PC version actually runs very well indeed I did run into a slight issue with micro stutter um the game unfortunately in multiplayer mode is capped at 90 frames a second or maybe it's 91 my frame rate counter says 91 but I think it's kept at 90 and the problem with this is um if you're running 120 or 144 Herz monitor then um it's not that noticeable but it's not synced properly you're getting almost like 30 um like skipped frames it's kind of difficult to explain but the game is only rendering 90 so if you turn vsync off it's not such a big deal but it's just really annoying this I don't see why it's like that I'm sure there's this gun is is overpowered I'm sure there is a reason why uh they've done that but hopefully they can fix it in a future patch just because it's bit silly to be running the game at 90 if you have nvidia's adaptive vsync thing I would turn it off for this game um that was causing me the micro stutter and then as soon as I turned it off then the uh the stutter seemed to stop but the frame rate still does drop every now then to about 89 which is why if you have vsync turned on that you'll get those drops but yeah the quality of the game I have to say I hav been enjoying uh the initial video I did in the Impressions was obviously when I was just started um playing through the multiplayer I've had it for 3 days and I was definitely in Call of Duty Fever Mode I'm sure a lot of people have had it if they have somewhat any interest in Call of Duty and I've bought one before um but now that I've had it for two weeks my Impressions while they haven't really changed uh I don't have the call of guty fever anymore so I'm not rushing to actually go and play the game and I've got a load of other games to actually go and play and R you as well but that said every time I do get into the game I am really enjoying it and I think that anyone who picks it up would definitely enjoy it because they have changed enough about the game to make it feel completely different the whole exoskeleton Thing Really Works the loads of new unique weapons and everything seems to work and the game is quite balanced and for a Call of Duty game there's not really that much more you could ask for maps are quite varied you've got ones like this which I think we've seen something similar before in DLC in another Call of Duty game all the maps are quite varied some of them are quite big some of them are quite small some of them have these random events which aren't really on Battlefield scale I'm afraid it's certainly not Levolution but it does add something else to the game as well um was I good there I I I don't know this was a pre-recorded I can't remember I think I was okay but I am in the kill cam so maybe maybe not yeah so I think if you're thinking about picking this game up it's definitely one of the best games that has actually come out uh in these last few months especially if you compare it to something like top of the leaderboard top of the leaderboard if you compare it to something like Assassin's Creed Unity which doesn't work this does work and the only real issue that I think people might have is that the campaign currently it might change it might I don't think it's already changed you get these supply drops as well that I'll show you there that you get randomly and then that's like loot system which is quite nice that adds to the experience but yeah the campaign is locked at a 65 uh fov I believe it's I think it's 65 and at the moment you can't change it it might be able to do a hack but you can't change it at the moment multiplayer is uncapped to the point well it's capped at 90 so you can have it anywhere between 65 and 90 uh this is just the basic class system that you've seen before you unlock new stuff it's only the supply drop stuff that is new so thank you very much for checking out this video I hope it has helped um I went for a slightly shorter video this time so let me know if that's good or bad or you you want to see more detail but if you're wondering should you play it yes it's a good Call of Duty game if you don't like Call of Duty then you know you're probably not going to like it but if you're after something that is like Call of Duty but they've improved it a little bit then this is actually the thing to go for and I have to say it's probably the best Call of Duty that I've played in quite a while so thank you for checking out this video don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already like the video dislike the video and subscribe so thank you very much for watching and I will see you in the next videowhat is up guys and welcome to should you play Call of Duty
