Maxam Cables by Goliath Computing

**Cable Review: A Closer Look**

As I unboxed the cable, I was immediately impressed with its quality and build. The packaging was simple yet effective, with a clear label indicating that it was an HDMI cable. The cable itself had a nice thick coating on the moulded casing, which looked sturdy and durable. I also noticed that there were some slight scratches on the casing, but this did not affect my overall impression of the product.

**Quality and Build**

The quality of the cable is evident in its build. The moulding process has created a very sturdy and well-made cable that can withstand the rigors of daily use. The coating on the casing is also noteworthy, as it provides a level of protection against wear and tear. I was pleased to see that the cable had a clear label indicating the resolution support, including HDMI versions 1.3, 12.1, and 1.4.

**Comparison with Other Cables**

As I compared this cable with others in my collection, I noticed some differences in terms of packaging and branding. The packaging for the premium cables is more elaborate, with a retail hangar that provides a clear indication of the product's quality. In contrast, the budget cables are packaged in simpler boxes without any fancy features. However, I was pleased to see that all the cables had a similar level of build quality, regardless of their price.

**Adapters and Compatibility**

One feature that impressed me about this cable is its compatibility with adapters. The company has provided a few adapters that can be used to convert HDMI signals to VGA or other formats. While I'm not usually a fan of adapters, I was pleased to see that they worked seamlessly with the cable. This adds an extra layer of flexibility and convenience for users who need to connect their devices to older monitors.

**Retail Price and Availability**

The retail price of these cables seems reasonable, especially considering the quality and build of the product. The company also has a wide range of products available in stock, including other types of cables and accessories. I was impressed by the variety of options available, which should appeal to both casual users and professionals.

**Conclusion**

Overall, I'm pleased with this cable review. The cable itself is of high quality, with a sturdy build and clear labeling. The packaging is simple yet effective, and the adapters provide an extra layer of flexibility and convenience. While there may be some variations in terms of branding and packaging, the overall value of these cables seems reasonable. I would recommend checking out the company's website for more information on their products and availability.

**Additional Information**

As I delved deeper into my research, I noticed that the company has a wide range of products available in stock. They also have a strong online presence, with a website that provides clear information on their products and pricing. While I didn't see any specific information on the cat five cables, it's likely that they are part of their premium product line.

**Next Steps**

In my next article, I'll be reviewing some of the company's other products, including adapters and other accessories. I'll also be providing more detailed information on the different types of cables available in stock, including comparisons with other brands and models. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi everyone Phil from tech vertex here today we're going to be looking at these cables we've got from goai of computing they're called Mac Sam and they have come in retail packaging and we run about 50 of them to take a look at you okay then everyone today we'll be looking at these cables there by maksim and basically it's retailed packaged cables as you can see there's quite a few different styles and designs there but they've all got the maxim name on it they are all retail packs and which is good and they do come with the bar codes on them depending on Thomas like which one's work and so forth so they've got everything on there basically max in pride themselves on variety and value for money reliability and great packaging the product range is constantly being updated and that we have an even more new products in April time but at the moment they've sent us over roughly 50 cables which I'll show you some of them on the pictures just shortly these are provided if you get them from distribution by Goliath computing limited at the moment the only ones who are distributing it so it's probably ideal work if you want some retail package cables one a huge variety then while they basically got them obviously the prices for RRP really down to what you want to charge both the actual price from distribute and distribution is pretty cheap retail packaging and cables obviously varies per shop some people sell a USB cable for two pounds some other 415 pounds so that is really up to you basically special features not what's really over then they have got the barcodes and there are retail package information about guys computing they've been trading since 2001 and they are also the first tp-link distributor in the UK back in 2007 right so that's the first look at all open one or two of them up just so you can see what the cables are like okay so let's have a look so let's have a look at this big one first so this is the HDMI as it says a 5 meter looks like or what the packaging like this is actually what cool snap back pops which basically open without you having actually to break the seals or anything so it could be potentially reuse it and take the packaging out if you are a retail store or as you can see the tables are there some nice thick coating on the nicely moulded very sturdy on the says HDMI on it it's black and again that's not a bad-looking that's a very quality HDMI cable so packaging so as you can see very simple to put it all back together if you so wish and so forth and it just clips back together good thing about it as well it does have a retail hangar on this one most of them do seem to have that apart from the really big thick cables like your cat fives they are just shrink wrap days they were a sticker on them so next cable I'm guessing this is going to be one of their more of these the bungee any type of cables is basically in a polythene bag with a piece of cardboard over the top wrapped over the top obviously with a barcode and everything else there are all different designs as you can see of all the cables but it's in there the bearing itself is actually sealed so just open that up just to show you so that's your USB 3 cable there again nicely coated it's all molded not much rather to say about it on there to be honest with you but it's pretty sturdy looks pretty weary we've tried a few of them I've user been using some connected to external hard drive just to make sure the work as they should and we've not had any issues up to now we'll show some more pictures in a few minutes of all different ones they have and this one here is HDMI to SVGA so if you want to convert from a HDMI to VGA I know this won't work we've already tried it it does actually do the job all they did at least on the PC you've got a few different adapters in there as well but basic says if you want to plug in a VGA connection there you can plug it into HD week the sorry HDMI reconnection on the back here PC and bang it works it's as simple as that adapters I'm not usually a fan of adapters because don't always work but I didn't have any issues with that looks a little scratched it's not it's just got like a cellophane wrap around the actual adapter itself but otherwise it's pretty good does what's done again nice box and it does have a hangar they'll just tell you all the information in the on the back about it what supports resolutions and everything the good thing about these they're in English what cables have seen prepackaged especially the budget ones they've got mixed languages on it or the language of them has been obviously translated and translated language is not the best let's put it that way again another one this one is actually a sealed box so it's not one of those that bat boxes but as you can see this is a HDMI cable that's the premium high speed one looks very similar to the other HDMI we had that's two meters long and that's an a to a connection and again everything on the back it tells you all about it one supports HDMI versions 1.3 12.1 and one 1.4 a 1.2 and 1.1 so that's not hdmi 2.0 unless it says otherwise No so use your profile here since it's slightly older time to HDMI or use your idea and again you don't see a cat cable basically which you can see is well wrapped it's tidy they do have various different styles and colors and so forth from lengths so but as you can see there there's a pretty good cable and that one's 50 meters so you've got 50 meter cable that and you can easily stick that on a bottom shelf or in a box or rack or something underneath your shelving so you can basically sell these cables and from looking at their website the retail prices or they're selling parties in distribution seems to be very reasonable to be honest with you and the only one thing I would like to see is more the similarity between the different ones I know they're probably trying to show off which ones premium not but it's probably not always straight forward looking to see which ones are which I'm just looking at them maybe having the logo in exactly the same place on all the boxes barcode in probably the same place and then pavely probably have a coding system on the back of the boxes what says red boxes value or good the blue box is better and then I don't know purple box or green box which is the premium range or something like that but like a system on the backside which is the best okay so there you go so we'll have a look at the pictures in a few seconds but otherwise good bit kit guys computing or put the link on the in the description but otherwise give these guys a check out and they do have plenty of other things in stock as well not just cableshi everyone Phil from tech vertex here today
