The World of GOI Neon Rope Lights: A Review and Guide to Customization
Have you ever thought about adding some magic to your room with neon lights? Look no further than the GOI Neon Rope Light Twos. These mesmerizing lights are not only visually striking but also offer a level of customization that's hard to find elsewhere. In this article, we'll delve into the world of GOI Neon Rope Lights and explore their features, benefits, and tips for getting the most out of your setup.
One of the standout features of the GOI Neon Rope Light Twos is their ability to be customized with different colors and patterns. With the app, you can choose from a wide range of options, including custom colors, music patterns, and even animations based on the shape you create. But what really sets these lights apart is their ease of use. Simply attach the clips to your wall or pegboard, adjust the pattern, and voilà! You've got a unique design that's all your own.
Now, we know what you're thinking: "How do I attach these little attachments to my wall?" Well, it's actually quite simple. All you need is some dowels, screws, and a pegboard (which can be easily attached to your wall). The process may take a bit of time and patience, but the end result is well worth it. As we experimented with attaching the clips to the dowels and screwing them into place, we found that it was actually quite therapeutic. Of course, there are some minor setbacks along the way - like when our initial attempt resulted in a slightly too-large dowel that needed adjusting.
But despite the occasional hiccup, we were thrilled with how easily we could customize our design. And speaking of customization, one of the things that really impressed us about these lights was their versatility. Whether you're looking to create a simple pattern or something more complex, the app provides an intuitive guide to help you get started. We also appreciated the option to test out different shapes and designs on the floor before committing to them on the wall - it's a great way to ensure that your design fits perfectly.
One of the things we loved most about these lights was the sheer number of options available in the app. From choosing custom colors to selecting music patterns, every detail can be tailored to create a truly unique look. And if you get stuck, don't worry - there are plenty of resources online to help you troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
But what really sets these lights apart is their size. We tried both the 3-meter and 5-meter options, and we have to say that the larger size is perfect for making a real statement in your room. Whether you're looking to create a bold design or simply add some ambiance to a smaller space, the 5-meter option is definitely worth considering.
Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the technical details. In terms of hardware, the GOI Neon Rope Light Twos are made with durable materials that can withstand regular use. The clips themselves are sturdy and easy to attach, while the lights themselves are energy-efficient and long-lasting.
But beyond the technical specs, what really sets these lights apart is their ability to bring a touch of magic into your space. Whether you're looking to create a cozy ambiance or simply add some visual interest to your room, the GOI Neon Rope Light Twos are sure to impress. And with their ease of use and customization options, it's never been easier to get started.
So if you're ready to take your room decorating to the next level, look no further than the GOI Neon Rope Light Twos. With their unique combination of style, customization options, and technical features, these lights are sure to become a staple in any home or office. And as we conclude our review, one thing is clear: the world of neon lights has never been brighter.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: entoday we're taking a look at the GOI neon rope light 2 thanks so much to goie for providing these for this video let's get started now there are four different models that you can get for this first you have the length you have 9.8 ft or you have 16.4 ft and then you have the black cable or you have the white cable so I have kind of a mixture here so we can see what all those look like and then this is matter compatible it also works with Alexa as well as Google home so this will work with pretty much whatever smart home you are using all right let's see what in the box so here we have our user manual and so there we have 9.8 ft of neon strip light and this is the black that looks really really nice and this is very flexible so we'll be able to put this in pretty much whatever shape you want on the wall here it comes with the power cable and then it comes with all kinds of different attachments so that you can mount it and Orient it on the wall however you want we have some screws as well as some anchors and some other Clips to get this installed on the wall so it looks like four bags of screws and anchors and three bags of Clips so here you have two packages where you can mount these and put the strip in to kind of help it follow a path and then you have one package that has six of these different bendable ones so that you could put the cable there and bend it so this is where you're going to put in like the corners or maybe the edge of something you know here we have a dolphin this is where it was able to do the dolphin nose with one of these so lots of attachment M there we'll see if that is enough so first we're just going to plug this in whoa that's probably too bright for you to see but that looks really cool so when you turn it on it starts looking like this that looks really cool you can turn it off just by the button turn it on we can change colors or patterns so here in the middle we can sort through different colors and animation options and then in here we have a similar setting as well where there it can do all kinds of different patterns let's get it connected in the app and so here automatically popped up to see if I want to add it as a matter device in Google home but I'm just going to go ahead and add it into the GOI home app first so here we just need to add plus there it automatically found it we're going to add that and then short press the power button and we're going to call this office rope light so here we need to power it on and then when installing it put in the rope and then make the bend and the bend needs to be kind of on the inside then you can either use the screws or just the adhesive so then you have an option to take a picture when you're complete so that you can have photo recognition and have it do some cool things then here you have some recommended shapes that it can guide you through of what you might want to make so I like that smile one superheroes and so on and then they have all kinds of different funny art we have animals plants and transportation and festival and then here we have some different diagrams so maybe you don't want to shape you want to do diagrams based on your room with the computer skateboard on the wall or even around your door so we're going to skip that for now let's connect it to Wi-Fi next we need to do an update let's check out the white option that is 5 m long so there it's kind of double wrapped quite as twice as long but that looks really nice so if you want a nice clean look on your wall this is going to be great so you still have the three bags of the smaller ones and the one bag of these other ones that you can mount it it would be nice if it came with a little more but it should be plenty to make the shape that you want so here in the app now that it's done you have all the typical goie options here so you can choose a scene and when you change to the scene it's automatically going to adjust the lights there you have your different colors so you can go through and adjust different segments so if I only want to change these segments to a specific color I can do that here I go into music and it's going to start listening on my microphone so it's going to adjust this based on that and then here you have DIY where you can go and create some more custom commands that you may want and all the other options up here and so when we have it on the wall we're going to come back in here and use the little camera button right there or the snapshot feature to customize how it looks with the shape we made on the wall let's go ahead get this installed on the wall so the first thing I did was just lay these out to see how long they were here on the bottom we have the 3 m and then there at the top we have the 5 m so these look really cool on the wall I even tried putting them behind my little shelves here to see what kind of effect that would be and I really like how these look but let's see if we can figure out what pattern we're going to do by making a design on the floor here a little Android guy let's try that kind of looks like Shrek but all right so that's something you could do that's a pretty good size of object and if we want to see the shapes again we just go into the settings of the app and then here we have shape references and there we can go through the options and find our shapes again so I need to shape that a bit more but that would work there's a TB so that's pretty cool how you can kind of shape it but I think I have an idea let's put it on the wall so it took me about 30 minutes to get this up it was a little bit difficult figuring out where I wanted everything to go and getting everything to line up properly I did have a problem with the adhesive the 3M just wasn't sticky I guess I didn't wash the wall my fault make sure you wash the wall um it's a brand new wall so I figured it'd be okay um but then um you might need to use the screws into the wall for a more permanent solution here you can see one has already come off after a few minutes of being up there and then I probably could have aligned it a little bit better so just some things to learn let's go ahead and go into the app and get it set up so it's working with the pattern that I made so here we are in the app we're going to do photo recognition just going to take a picture just like that so now I'm just going to move this slider till I see all other light that has gone away okay that looks great next select one end from above as the power input end so that is where the power is coming through over on that side all right and that is now complete let's go into some of the different effects that we can use so there this is a undulate here we have Soundwave hey hey everybody Welcome to Tech with BR so here in the app I can change the speed and then I can also adjust the customization of the color or scene so there's all kinds of different scenes that you can choose in here lots and lots to play with I like the patterns that flow through those are kind of cool this one's called Candy Crush oh it's like a it's almost like a Tetris it's pretty sweet have windmill spin heartbeat oh yeah that's cool mysterious swarming so you can also customize the colors so I can choose if I want to do a little red and white there make it white and blue all right so there that I've made my own colors it can now just kind of use that pattern and then here you can just do standard colors and those are adding a nice glow to the rest of the room all right it's now time to try out the 5 meter model but my main problem with these is you can't easily adjust where you put them on the wall it would be nice if every so often you could change the pattern and so on so I have an idea I'm going to try out what if we attach the clips to something that you could then put inside a pegboard and then you can move them around and try different shapes and change it up every once in a while so we're going to attempt to attach the little attachments into some pegs so that we can then attach them into the pegboard and change up the pattern and so on hopefully this works wish me luck now the next step is we're going to take these dowels and put a little hole in them I'm going to then attach these and with a screw to them and then I might need to drill these a tiny bit bigger just so the dowels are able to go in but still tight might be the hardest part but let's do it all right so this is how many Clips the 5m one has I do think it is a bit more than the 3 m maybe so now I'm going to do a pilot hole in this and then we're going to see if we can screw in a screw into there so after spending an hour on one of these I decided this isn't the best option though it could work the dowel ended up being too big so it's time to head to at the computer and make a design for my 3D printer now let's see if they are able to work so let's go ahead put the screw in all right that definitely worked not tight enough we'll have to do another set and we are done let's test him out freeze that's the whole room if we go to let's see music here it's the on the Lo a now if you were to do something like this the only problem I've had is these angles you can't get them to perfectly line up on a corner so you can go like that where it's curved or you can go a little bit more like that but you can't do a nice curved corner without drilling some more holes and so those are the GOI neon rope light twos now getting this set up I'd say the hardest part is figuring out exactly what design you want to do and then how to get to work properly on your wall so you may want to test it out on your floor or something to make sure your design fits and then kind of match that on the wall now in the app under the shape reference you do have the option to go through a little guide on how to get those different shapes put up so it will show you where you need to put the different attachments to the wall and then you can build the shape that way which is really cool now I think this is a great way to kind of spice up your room add some cool designs and different things really it's um unlimited what kind of shapes you could put on on there so really fun to add this into your home now I really like the having the bigger size I think the 5 m is a great option if you want to really make a cool design with a bunch of different shapes and so on um I think that's the way to go 3 meter works great in a smaller room here on the wall you can see I just you know put a few letters up and that worked really great as well but I love how many customizations there are in the app you can go through take a picture and then have it do different animations based on what shape you did and then you have the option for all kinds of different music patterns and then you can create your own patterns and you can go in and specify each segment to have it be the exact color you want it to be to and then you can also take pictures of your favorite shapes or colors so that you can then go through and quickly change it to a specific color that you would like to have so there are ton of different options you have in the goie app so if you have any further questions about the neon rope light 2 please let me know down in the comments below and if you want to check them out I'll leave a link down in the description um for you to go and pick some up for yourself thank you so much for watching we'll see you on the next onetoday we're taking a look at the GOI neon rope light 2 thanks so much to goie for
