SUPER NINTENDO MY 5 GAMES! ...The Last Game Hunter

**My Top Five Super NES Games**

As I sit down to write about my top five Super NES games, I am filled with nostalgia and excitement. The Super NES was an incredible console that brought me hours of entertainment and joy, and narrowing it down to just five is a challenge. However, after some careful consideration, I have come up with the following list: Stanley Cup, Super Conflict, NHL Hockey, Muriel Lemieux Hockey, and, surprisingly, the original NHL Hockey game.

First off, let's talk about Stanley Cup. This game was truly revolutionary for its time, and it's hard to believe that it was only one of the most-played games on my console. The graphics, gameplay, and overall experience were all top-notch, and I found myself completely immersed in the world of hockey. From the excitement of scoring goals to the thrill of checking into opponents, Stanley Cup had it all. It's no surprise that this game is still one of my favorites to this day, and I'm happy to say that it holds a special place in my heart.

But Stanley Cup wasn't the only great game on my Super NES. In fact, another classic title that often gets overlooked is Super Conflict. This game was unlike anything else on the console, with its simple yet addictive gameplay and clever design. Players would move their pie-throwing vehicles around a checkerboard board, trying to take over territories and outmaneuver their opponents. The game was deceptively easy, but it required strategy and cunning to succeed. I remember spending hours upon hours playing Super Conflict with my family, vying for control of the board and claiming victory.

NHL Hockey, on the other hand, is a game that may seem simple at first glance, but trust me, it's anything but. The combination of fast-paced gameplay and realistic graphics made this game an instant classic. I was thrilled to see Pittsburgh Penguins (my beloved team!) featured as one of the top teams in the league. While NHL Hockey is now long out of production, its impact on my gaming experience cannot be overstated.

Another hockey title that often gets overlooked is Muriel Lemieux Hockey. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Muriel Lemieux"? Sounds like a random name, right? Wrong! This game was actually one of the most-played titles on my console, and for good reason. The gameplay was engaging, the graphics were crisp, and the sheer fun factor made it impossible to put down.

And then there's NHL Hockey itself, which I may have mentioned already but deserves a mention again. While some might think it's old-fashioned compared to modern-day games, NHL Hockey holds up surprisingly well even today. Its simplicity and addictive gameplay make it a classic that still appeals to gamers of all ages.

**My Real-Life Gaming Experiences**

But the Super NES was more than just a console - it was also an integral part of my childhood. Growing up, I spent hours with my siblings, playing games like NHL Hockey and Stanley Cup until we were all exhausted. We would argue over who got to play next, and our parents would often have to intervene to prevent us from fighting over the TV remote.

My brother and I even bonded over our love of gaming, spending countless hours competing against each other in Stanley Cup and Super Conflict. It was a special time in my life, one that I cherish to this day.

**The Design and Graphics**

One thing that really stands out about my top five Super NES games is the design and graphics. The console's capabilities were still relatively limited at the time, but the developers managed to create some truly impressive visuals. From the pixelated graphics of Stanley Cup to the detailed 3D models of NHL Hockey, each game on this list pushed the boundaries of what was possible on the Super NES.

The attention to detail in these games is stunning, from the animations and cutscenes to the sound effects and music. The developers clearly put a lot of effort into creating immersive experiences that would draw players in and keep them engaged for hours on end.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, my top five Super NES games are a testament to the console's incredible range and versatility. From the fast-paced action of NHL Hockey to the addictive simplicity of Super Conflict, each game on this list has its own unique charm and appeal. Whether you're a longtime gamer or just looking for some nostalgic fun, these games are definitely worth checking out.
