Flea market Video Game Pick-ups ... The Last Game Hunter
**A Thrilling Flea Market Adventure**
I was eager to get home because my kids needed to go to bed around 8:00-8:30 PM. My estimated time of arrival (ETA) for getting home was almost 8:00 PM at that point, so I had a bit of a rush as I walked out the door.
As I was leaving, I walked by a lady's booth without noticing it at first and just kept walking. I should have turned around because she had a full shelf of PlayStation 2 (PS2) games and some game-related merchandise. I didn't see any prices on the games, so I asked her how much she wanted for one, and she replied that they were either $2 each or $3-4-5 bucks. I thought to myself, "Oh my, let me go through this!"
**Discovering Hidden Gems**
I started looking through her collection, and I picked up "DT Carnage," which reminded me of Carmageddon. I thought it was a modern take on that game, so I had to have it! I also grabbed "Simpsons Road Rage," which I already owned, but knew could get some trade value.
I had a hard time picking just six games, but the other titles were pretty cool, and I'm a bit of a show-off, too. **A Sad Story: The Capcom Conundrum**
Now, here's a sad story about this one game – it was sealed, but I didn't believe it was sealed at first because it didn't have the seal on the packaging that says "Sony PlayStation." I opened it because I didn't think it was sealed, and when I put it back in its plastic case, I realized it was absolutely brand-new. It's a $15 game, but if it were sealed, it would be worth around $70! I second-guessed myself for opening it.
**Monster Hunter 3: A Weird Title**
Another game that caught my eye was "Monster Hunter 3." I'm not into this series, but when I see weird titles like this, I buy them because you never know what you might discover. Going to a small town is always different from the city, and that's what made this experience so cool.
**A Great Deal on Nintendo Games**
Keep in mind that at this point, if you had been there just a little earlier, she would have sold all her Nintendo games for $5 each. I was like, "Oh my heart stopped!" She didn't care about the value of the items; she just said to me straight up, "I got a good deal," and I did too.
**Super NES Top Five: Remembering Super Conflict**
A little while ago, I did my top five games on the Super NES, and one game that was at number one but not owned by me was Super Conflict. Guess what? I own it now! I picked it up from a guy named "The Game Guy" at the Morrisburg flea market. He's downstairs, and if you're ever in the area, hit this flea market up – he's a great guy.
**Game Over: Until Next Time**
Thanks for joining me on this thrilling adventure to the flea market! I wish I could remember the name of that Game Guy, but I'll have to give him credit anonymously. Share like crazy, and we'll catch you all in the next video – it's all fun and games, game over!
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enoh hello everybody and welcome to another episode of the last game hunter I'm your host Paul and how's everybody doing out there in the YouTube world I know you're watching me today we are going to talk about some pickups I got while I was out in a small little town or city I should say called Cornwall Ontario so while I was there of course I like to stop in two different EB game stores because you never know what stuff they have leftover or their use selection definitely varies from other major cities for example for example you find games there that they're so popular that you can't get them here but in a small town you you're like oh wow I've been looking for that and boom there was and one of those games that I was looking for was project cars for the Xbox one and the reason why I love racing you guys know on the Xbox one of my favorite things to do is just race cars and this game looks beautiful it actually looks gorgeous I believe this game started it's or the idea of it started on the PC and we have it on the Xbox one yeah the pop figure altered beast the werewolf sometimes when I say that it I get scared the dark brown or yeah the dark brown werewolf that I wanted the not exclusive one and I wanted to know if it was as heavy as the other one absolutely there's no difference other than the paint job so really cool finally got it that's awesome now guys for the Xbox 360 I am actually trying to collect the Kinect collection I have no idea why one day I just bought a bulk of it and I haven't been able to stop so when I see stuff for $2 $1 $3 I'd like whatever so I went up to this one booth the lady had these three games there Kinect games and I said hey would you do 3 for $5 she said yes I jumped on it because I knew I needed them I didn't know if I was buying a double or not so the one double I did end up buying was your shape fitness of all so good luck for me getting rid of that one this is where everything goes oh well you win some you lose something again I bought all three for $5 I'm not gonna cry I got a sealed was it cold winter stars I didn't have this one so that's one I needed awesome and then I got motion explosion cover looks cool looks like one of those games that actually does look like a lot of fun and it looks like something when I get a little more room for my Kinect depth I'll be able to play with my kids and I think that's really clever the Kinect is actually a very underrated thing not saying that it's great but I think your are still some good and some fun so yeah walking around the flea market of course there was this one guy I wanted to buy a game for the Wii it was pac-man something I can't remember what it was called but it was a it was one of the ones I didn't have I asked my daughter my oldest daughter Haley and she said no we don't have that one so it was a little not quite the collector quality that I would bother with kind of like you left the stuff out in the rain don't you guys hate that how they don't take any pride and ownership in some of the games they have it's out it gets rained on oh well and then you get it and and the cover insides all whatever and it was kind of like that but a little better than that but kind of sandy and gritty so I told the guys said how much you want for it to me it's a $5 game at best he goes five dollars I'm like five dollar game at best means I only want to pay two dollars for this game it was missing the manual and everything I just walked away I can't do it yes the game probably what is still been playable and fun but I can't do it I can't put it on my shelf and if you're a collector you guys know exactly how I feel about that because you do the same thing unless it's a game you really wanted and you wanted to get it so you can play it until you fulfill the better copy of it and I get that but I didn't need this game that bad so when I was walking around to another booth ended up picking up gauntlet for the Xbox I needed that I'm trying to complete the original Xbox collection and a lot of people go why why did you do that I got a sealed copy of inside pitch yeah but I needed it for the Xbox collection cool though like truly seal with the extra manual everything in the fact thought that was kind of cool worth a whopping $8 seal I'm gonna get rich off that one now this is where it gets interesting the cool part about this was I didn't really get much at this point I mean it was an okay pickup but I didn't spend a lot of money either at this point them out maybe ten dollars and I'm walking around and we're about to leave we're not even gonna bother looking at the whole market because I still got over three hours drive ahead of me so we just wanted to get home because the kids need to go to bed at around 8:00 8:30 and my ETA for arrival was almost 8 o'clock at that point so as I'm walking out yeah when I walked in I walked right by this lady's booth looked seen nothing and just kept on walking should have turned around she had a full shelf of ps2 games and some game view so started looking through it she had no prices on any of it I said how much you want for this she goes two dollars each or three four five bucks oh my I got to go through this I gotta see what's here right so I picked up DT carnage kind of reminded me of Carmageddon so I was like a modern Carmageddon I gotta have it so DT carnage it's just basically what it is it says it's carnage and it is it's smashing naming crashing really cool Simpsons road rage I already had it but I know this game can get me some trade value so why not in other words I had a hard time picking six games but the other games pretty cool I'm a show-off too Capcom now here's the sad story about this it was sealed but I didn't looked terrible raw danger I've never seen before in my life so I picked it up it looks like a I don't know shooter ish game but whatever it was it was there I was having a hard time picking six games but six games for 10 bucks I had to do it and I think I came out pretty good on these games so I was pretty happy about it and all was is we were about to leave I walked by I seen it I was like oh my god now here's where it gets crappy the lady said if you were here just a little earlier keep in mind I walked by her she sold all of her Nintendo games for $5 each oh my heart stopped five dollars
