I don't remember the last time I did a fall gift basket, if I even did one at all. To be honest, I've had to search through my videos and see if I did do one before 2019. But today, for 2019, I wanted to share with you guys two different fall gift basket ideas from the Dollar Tree.

The first basket that I'm showing you is actually from Hobby Lobby, which was $4.99 but 40 or 50 percent off. Each basket came in under a dollar, so they're very comparable to Dollar Tree. To make it look more visually appealing, I lined it with an orange napkin just because I added some orange shred to it and didn't want the napkin to peek out through those slits. I think it's really cute, and I love giving gifts that people won't expect. They don't have to be for an event or a birthday; they could just be a random here's a cute little present for you.

I did this with my daughter and her friends, where I would give them random little gifts for seasonal holidays and things like that. People just love getting gifts even if it's not a big deal and it's not something that's on their wish list. I love the way this little basket turned out so much that I'm adding a bunch of little party favors to it, which came from Dollar Tree. These are really cute and fit perfectly into this little basket, giving you that fall feeling.

I added some sticker boxes from Dollar Tree because these little boxes have stickers on them and I thought they would be a great addition to the basket. There were also a lot of party favor options at Dollar Tree, which is why I chose these ones. This theme for your child or their friends in class or whatever it may be, just seems like a really cute idea. When arranging all the things in the basket, some items weigh more than others, so you'll need to work with that display.

Sorry if my hand was in the way, but I had to constantly try to rearrange everything to get the perfect look. The little one-eyed monster from Monsters Inc looks like it's from that movie and just sat on top of the basket; it really made it look incredibly adorable and add a nice touch. Moving along, for the second basket in my video, I wanted to show you how you can get really fun items from Dollar Tree and put them in a basket as a gift.

My basket I had lying around the house, which I then used a Dollar Tree table placemat like it's the green one that was in a recent haul video. I just kind of laid it diagonally so that it would cross over the basket. Then, I added this gorgeous fall shred – guys, this shred is just stunning! I don't know if I've ever seen it at Dollar Tree before, but it's so fall and so perfect for the basket.

stunning I don't know that I've ever seen it at Dollar Tree before but it's so fall and it was so perfect and it just really complimented that green table placemat so I absolutely love it and you want to add quite a bit of shred especially if you're going to insert items that are heavy like my coffee mug because the coffee mug weighs a lot and it's gonna push that shred down so you will want to add a lot of shred to kind of resist that weight now this basket looks like it's gonna have a theme it has like coffee in a coffee mug but I didn't want to really put a theme on this one I just wanted to show you guys that you don't always have to do a theme that you can just construct a basket if you just know who you're gifting to if you know them very well like you know they love coffee but you also know they love Leopard so you'll see that I included some leopard options in here I'm adding some candy inside of the coffee mug to just fill it up and give it that extra layer in volume I'm also adding cookies things like that so and I know it seems a little random to add a candle and things like that but again you don't always have to build a theme you can just put a bunch of little goodies if you know exactly what that person likes if I were getting a basket I would love this basket for me like I would just love this it's got Twix candy it's got cookies it's got coffee it's got candles it's got leopard in it like I'm all over this this I also wanted to show you guys that this option right here of decor so this is like a steak decor for outdoors and you could easily remove some of those wood plaque so I removed the friends one and I was just trying to figure out a way of how I wanted to display it in the end I didn't actually end up using it but I wanted to show you guys that you could easily peel those off and use it as a decor piece in your basket you could always use like a gift basket wrapper it's just the clear paper that you would wrap your basket with and then you could top it off with a ribbon which I didn't actually do in today's video but I will do it and post the picture of what that looks like on my Instagram so make sure that you're following me on my
