The Frustrations with Pokémon MMO: A Developer's Wish List

I don't know I just don't like it, it doesn't feel like it flows anywhere near as good as the vanilla Pokémon box management and you don't have any sort of customization for it or anything. You can't even move Pokémon to other boxes and you can't designate which one you want Pokémon to go to, kind of like you can with some Pokémon but not all of them. I'd like to see a small amount of additional boxes added to the box list. I'd like you to be able to name or customize your boxes.

Another feature that I saw suggested on the forums was a trade box which can work kind of like the global trading station in other games. This may not be the best way to open up a trading system in the game but it's certainly an interesting concept. It's basically like a Dropbox for your Pokémon and you can list what you want and it kind of trade them in and out. Next, we have the use of the versus Seeker inside caves and buildings. Now one thing to note is that the Bulbapedia does in fact point out that in regular Pokémon games the versus Seeker is unable to be used in buildings and caves. However, I feel like that is just a small detail that the developers could actually alter in the MMO version of the game. Therefore, it is something that they should be able to change.

It's also worth noting that there are a lot of pretty cool trainers in the caves, which allows users to rebattle some cool trainers, get more XP and money, and it's just more convenient. I don't see why they couldn't allow it either, because gyms generally stay the same level, so you shouldn't have any reason not to go back and fight them. If necessary, developers could disable it in gyms so that people don't abuse it.

Another feature is the ability to fly off the roof of the Celadon department store. I really just said that because why that's not an option. You can in the regular games, it's a roof of a store, you get higher than that in the mountains, there's no reason you shouldn't just be able to fly over there instead of walking down all the freaking steps which is not a lot of fun.

The next feature is daycare and breeding. Not entirely sure why they haven't added it in, obviously they're looking for a balance of what they consider to be rare Pokémon or Pokémon they're releasing. However, frankly, there's not a whole lot that's considered rare anymore. I personally don't like their system of just releasing Pokémon and waves as it is because that's not how the Pokémon world works and that doesn't make a whole lot of sense for a Pokémon world meant to be in an MMO like that seems completely counterproductive to me.

Finally, the number one feature that I want to see added to this game is if you haven't thought of it already and seen that you know I haven't suggested it and wondered why it's not in there, shame on you. We should be able to sell items. Why the hell can we not? That like this shouldn't even be discussed selling should be in the game, there we have all these nuggets taking up inventory slots, nuggets and random pearls and stuff like that then we get in the game it's good money, we need no reason not to the game's economy kind of regulates itself just like in the regular Pokémon game. So as long as admins don't allow crazy extra items and duplicating there's no real reason not to. A lot more money can be made off rebeddles with the amulet coin so again the economy is not at risk, I don't understand why I can't just sell my damn nuggets it's so frustrating.
