The C64 is back, this time full-sized! NEW Commodore 64!

**The Full-Size Commodore 64: Back in Action**

You had to use your game stick with all its extra buttons and stuff to get the job done, but 90% of the time you needed to do something different. You had to use your keyboard, which was really hard to navigate at a certain point.

Well, the new one is actually going to be the full-size breadbox - not a mini. It's actually going to be a full-sized Commodore 64 brand-new with a functioning keyboard. The C64 is back, and I know between me and my buddy he brought up a great thing: what does that say or what does that do for Commodore 64 collectors? Is it going to bring the value down on the original C64?

There's a big maybe on that. It possibly could, but in the nostalgia of things, I think an original product will always hold value over a brand-new product, one built back in the 80s not in the 2019-20s now.

This new comer 64 is actually slated for release for December of this year, so this month. Question is: where is it going to be released and from my understanding right now, it's only released in Europe. The UK will get this product first, as he did with the mini.

So, what are some of the upgrades? Well, one we already know that it's not a mini; it's a full-size, and the keyboard functions. That's one hell of an upgrade right there. Another big upgrade that a lot of people have asked for, and Commodore is delivering: this joystick. It wouldn't wish they were micro switches - they are now.

The new joystick coming out will actually sport micro switches. The quality of the joystick is going to be enhanced. Not sure if it'll have all these extra features as they probably won't be needed because of the fully functional keyboard.

Now, there's something else: the new C64 full-size breadbox also sports a couple new features. One, it can do Vic-20 mode - that's right; so you can program in Vic-20 mode and use it as a Pick-20. You can add your own software games, so on just like you could do with the mini, except for now, you have the full feature of the keyboard.

And there is also an enhancement: of course, a C64 mode - kind of dumb; it's a C64, so there's a fully functional C64 mode. This is not including what is built in these are just two functions of the unit to allow it to function as it did as an original product.

I applaud for that; that's really cool. The third feature is the functionality of 64 games - I guess built into calling it "Gank Carousel" or whatever they wish to call it, and that is your main built-in ready-to-go setup. So, you have three different modes on this: a ready-to-go setup which probably some people are just going to use as is; then you have Vic-20 mode, C64 mode, full C64 and vic-20 programming.

So, if you want to do the old C64 in programming, you can do so. Your old saves will work. You can save them. You can use your C64 library or your Vic-20 library. This is a great enhancement, and I cannot wait to see this product come as a C64 fan - I am definitely gonna pick this up when they're available for the North American market.

You guys comment below: are you gonna get one of the new full-sized C64 bread boxes? And if so, let me know; I want to know what's going on. Did you know this was coming? I knew it was coming but didn't know it was this soon.

I thought it was more rumor than it was actual well now it's actual so that is pretty cool. I will leave a link below to the website showing the product and the fact that you might get some updates from there right now, it's pretty black just says December 2019; doesn't say where we know deep down it's a UK first.

So, anyway guys; till next time, please share like subscribe if you're not subscribed. I'll tell you next time this is the last Game Hunter with your C64 news game over.
