Hello guys, I'm here to help you with your device-related queries. Welcome back to the channel today, and I have another must download application that I'd like to share with you all.
I try to do this every single week here on the channel, sharing an app from the app store that I think is worth the download. This week, of course, will be no different. But you guys already know if you have any apps that you would like for me to try, or recommendations or suggestions, please leave those in the comments down below. Maybe I'll feature the app that you recommend on the next episode.
Today, we have a really awesome utility that allows you to see the percentage of your devices from anywhere. Now, this one is called Cloud Battery, and it allows you to see all the percentages for all devices running this application for the battery percent. It's really, really useful. Links to the app will be in the description, and it's a free application available in the app store with good ratings there at 4.2.
The UI of this application is very simple. On top here, you have the ability to customize it. If you prefer to customize, that's right there - you can change the text, color, and also have the widget as you can see there on the home screen. I have an iPhone 12, which is this one here, and I also have an iPad Pro and an Apple Watch. We're going to go ahead and do this device here; it's the SE second generation.
We're going to add it, show you how simple it is to use. Simply launch the application, and you can click on the plus icon here. Click on your device, and this should add the device to the list. You'll see it populate on the other devices as well, and you'll be able to see the battery percentage on any device that's running the application.
As I mentioned, it works on the Mac, iPad, iPhone, so all you have to do is download the application, and you can see there once it populates. You'll be able to see the percentage there; it is. For example, this iPhone SE has about 38 percent of battery right there, so you can see there on the widget. What's really cool about this app is that I don't have to be near the device to know its battery percentage.
I can be away from all of my devices and still see the battery percentage. This means I can know if that device when I get to it will be ready to use or if it's going to need charge, very useful indeed. Also mentioned is that you can customize this app - change the order of the devices as well, so you can sort them. You can delete any device by swiping to the left just like so.
This app is really cool, and I think you guys are going to find it very useful. So, check it out; Cloud Battery links will be in the description and down below. Thank you for watching this episode, and I'll see you on the next one.
