Logitech Mini Boombox Bluetooth Speakers Review & Compared with JBL Flip

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi this is ranit from tas.com and in this video we're going to do the review for this Logitech mini boom box which is a Bluetooth speaker system and we'll also compare it with the JBL Flip so this is the mini boom box retail box I already done the unboxing for this PD boom box in earlier video so you can check out that video to know what comes inside the box and this is basically a wireless Bluetooth speaker system and if you look at this mini boom box it's pretty Compact and it's actually pretty small and uh we do have some controls over here for example if you want to pair it with a new Bluetooth device you can do that and you can also raise or lower the volume these are touch type controls and on the back we'll have the physical controls that's the on and off switch and for charging you use a uh micro USB cable that is supplied and you can just attach it to your computer to charge it and we also have a ox cable if you want to go the vde route but ideally it is designed to be uh paired with Bluetooth devices like cell phones tablets Etc and it also has an inbuilt battery and Logitech says that the battery should last around 9 to 10 hours I couldn't completely test it but I would say the battery life is very good above average and uh uh it should last for a long time for example I also have this uh JBL flip and I would say the battery would last almost twice compared to the JBL Flip I'll come back to the JBL Flip a bit later and compare now coming to the sound quality of this uh Logitech mini boom box it's actually very good and let me just switch it on and you also have this LED light over here and it'll glow in blue color and you can easily pair it with your mobile phone etc for example this is my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it immediately pair with the mini boom box if you want to pair it with a new device you can just hit this button this Bluetooth button and then you can easily pair it for example it's connected and I have to say the sound quality is actually very good and it's actually pretty loud I'm just going to play a song now I'm not going to play it fully but I would say uh the sound quality is pretty decent and it can also go pretty loud I didn't expect that this mini boom box would go this loud it has two speakers over here and it also has some Basse I would say uh that was surprising and in terms of audio quality it is pretty good you will be surprised initially uh by how loud it can go and it's pretty good in terms of audio quality if I would have to rate it out of 10 I would rate it uh 7 out of 10 and in terms of battery life I would say excellent and uh now coming to comparing it with this JBL Flip which is also a Bluetooth based speaker system uh I would say overall I like this J uh this one a lot better not in terms of the sound quality but but in terms of Bluetooth speaker as these are Bluetooth speakers the connectivity with your smartphones should be very good and in that this uh mini boom box excels compared to this JBL Flip JBL Flip has some issues with the Bluetooth for example if you move around your phone quickly and even if it's away just around 10 ft or so it starts to skip but we don't have such problems with this Logitech b boom box now coming to the critical thing of sound quality yeah I know it's a bit subjective again if I have to rate this one out of 10 I would rate it 7 out of 10 and if I would have to rate this JBL Flip just based on the sound I would rate it 8.5 uh don't get me wrong that the Logitech mini boom box is bad it sounds great actually and U I also thought it was great but I did some comparing side by side and the JBL flips actually sound a little bit better but again just noted the size the JBL flips are a lot bigger compared to this mini boom box and um the jbls actually sound a little bit more richer in terms of vocals and highs I would say these are a little bit better compared to the mini boom box but I still prefer the mini boom box because it does not have any Bluetooth issues and also the battery life is almost 2x compared to this JBL flip and it can easily be charged with a convenient uh mini USB cable that you can just attach to your mobile phone Etc but on the other hand with this J flip you have this cu stupid proprietary charger that you need to carry around so these are designed as portable speakers that you might carry around so in terms of that this Logitech mini boom box I would say is a leg up also in terms of costing uh the street pricing uh is anywhere I check both these things in local stores they were pric pretty high the JBL Flip is actually a lot expensive and it uh in local stores uh it was going for around 5 a half th000 to 5,000 uh and this was being sold for around 4 and a half th000 but I got a great deal on this via flip cart and I purchase this one directly from flipcart for Just Around 3,600 I'll have that link for the flip cart in the show notes so what is my overall opinion about this Logitech mini boom box considering the overall aspects like sound quality and the price to Performance ratio I would say this product gets a big thumbs up the battery life is great the sound quality is also great in the terms of Bluetooth connect ity does not have any audio issues so this product gets a big thumbs up from me if you found this video review helpful I'll
