The Joy of Fall Toddler Activities: A Fun-Filled Afternoon with Miles
Hey guys, we are so excited to have Tess's adorable friend miles over to try these three easy-to-set-up fall toddler activities. So, first up, let's talk about a fall sensory bin. You just need kernels of corn, kitchen utensils, and some bonus points for hay or mini pumpkins. The kids love this activity, and it's so good for their eye-hand coordination. Miles did think outside the bin discovering that dumping corn on a car is really fun, but for the most part, they were just busy pouring.
Tess has been doing this non-stop, and you guys if you don't have a big bin all you really need is a bowl, one bag of corn, and a broom. Thank you, miles! Next up, we have a sticky cobweb. I just took white painters tape made six spokes and then connected those together. It's worth taking an extra moment to reinforce the sides and the joints so they can't rip down as easily. In less than 10 minutes, it looks neat. We gave the kids little leaves and spiders to stick on it, and actually, took Tess a minute to realize how to do this she was like sticking it and then running away. But when she finally figured out she was so proud, and to my surprise, the big kids came home and actually loved this spider and definitely tested the limits of the cobwebs.
How about we play Ninja Turtles now? That looks beautiful, thanks! And then, finally, Apple stamps. You just cut an apple in half, stick a fork in it, and then use washable acrylic paint. Yes, hair up bibs on for this one. Miles went to town on the stamping right away. You can tell a toddler loves an activity when they start going like this. Tess also really enjoyed herself, dip it in the paint, and then yeah, didn't like getting her hands dirty for the professional Cleanup Crew but loved the stamping part.
And look at this masterpiece! For bigger kids, you can decorate the pumpkins with googly eyes and stems, and then afterwards we snacked on the apples. Not the same ones different ones, all right? You guys, I hope you give these a try, thank you so much for watching. I will see you soon bye!
