The Unboxing and Demos of the iMac G4
Hello Hillon here from the CC with the iMac G4, I promised I'd be doing this video on my blog on the CC blog actually, and it has been requested by quite a few people that I get an IMX G before and demo it. And that has been one of my collectible goals for collecting Legacy Mac hardware so if the eBay guy didn't rip me off in this box should be the correct item which is an iMac G4.
I will not open it for you guys since I do not have a knife or scissors, I will use the other weapon of choice for opening packages a pen works really well. Alright, remove the FedEx thing and my cats checking out the box he likes boxes as uh my followers know they might know about my cat he is quite curious as most cats are.
Now we'll open the flaps here start from out now we have a box wonder what's in here empty box pretty cool don't know why but um hey uh it's a pretty good condition for a box this is a pretty rare model I think too it's a it's a good box it's nice of course I'm just kidding but I can probably use it for something. Some bubble wrap that's always nice keep it protected some more bubble wrap you can start to see it already there and we'll carefully pull this up and we'll uh remove the bubble wrap off the screen here take it out of the box and there we go.
Here is the iMac G4 okay looks like we um got some little note on there but it's in pretty good condition I believe it's a 700 MHz model 15-in screen and this is just one of the coolest IMX so I'm going to take this out and get it set up here. I made some some room hopefully uh it all fits and everything I can't guarantee that though and my cat wanted to jump in the Box apparently.
I took down my computer setup and I'm going to try to get this setup in the corner here the odds of it working successfully maybe not so high I do have a lot of stuff in here but I'm going to try my best. So, I'm going to remove this thing off the top of the screen that you saw and put this on here yeah it may look small but it is a little heavy but it's lighter than most computers at the time.
I plan to just have it set behind the Hub or the Hub behind this I can just move this back as let me rotate that it's a little bit bigger than I imagined it'll be cool once it's set up and I'll get a system on here. It's just I just really like this model iMac it's so easy just move screen around it just it looks so cool too even though this thing is like from the early 2000s it was still a really well built machine and it looked nice.
So, expect a demo on this coming soon and that's all I have for you now see you later hello Hillon here from the CC with the iMac G4.
