I Crashed My S2000 Into My Own Garage

I'll never forget the day I ran my S2000 into those shelves. It was literally just that moment when everything changed. As I looked on, my heart sank and I felt crushed. The damage was evident - the clear bra was scratched, the front bumper had dents and debris scattered all over it, and to top it all off, the fender was punched in.

I had been working with a company called XPEL to put a clear bra on my S2000, but before that, I wanted to make sure that I was ready for the process. The front bumper has always been prone to rock chips and dents, so I decided to get it repainted before putting on the clear bra. I had been doing some research and looking at body shops in the area, trying to find someone who could do a good job of matching paint colors.

I was excited about the prospect of getting my S2000 looking brand new again, but little did I know that fate had other plans. As I was driving home from the gym (yes, I do go there - it's a rock climbing gym and skinny people can excel there!), I decided to park in my garage and take out my car for a spin. I intentionally parked very close to the wall, almost as close as possible, so that I wouldn't have to worry about the Crosstrek hitting my car. But, as I pulled up to the door, something didn't feel right. My heart started racing as I realized that I was going to hit something.

The next thing I knew, I had run into the shelves and damaged my car beyond repair. The front bumper was bent downward, the paint was chipped off, and the fender was punched in. It was a mess. I couldn't believe what had happened. All of this was because I had decided to drive my car without checking if it was safe to do so.

As I stood there, staring at the damage, I felt a mix of emotions - frustration, anger, disappointment, and sadness. But then something shifted inside of me. I realized that I needed to take a step back and approach this situation with gratitude rather than anger. After all, my car was just a material object, and it could be fixed.

I started thinking about the positive aspects of this experience. For one, it had given me an opportunity to learn and grow. It had also taught me the importance of being present in the moment and aware of my surroundings. And, most importantly, it had reminded me that I have a wonderful community of viewers who support me and help me continue to do what I love.

I want to thank all of you for watching this video and for your ongoing support. Your comments, questions, and suggestions mean the world to me, and I'm so grateful to have such an engaged and caring audience. If any of you know of some great shops in the Boise, Idaho area that specialize in repairing cars and matching paint colors, please let me know! I'm always looking for new recommendations.

Despite the setback with my car, I still have plenty of exciting projects on the horizon. I've got a new brake system ready to be installed, which will allow me to take my driving experience to the next level. I've also got a special part being made that will supercharge my S2000 and make it even more powerful. And, of course, I want to get the clear bra put on, the front bumper repainted, and the fender fixed.

It's not going to be easy, but I'm up for the challenge. After all, this is what I love doing - tinkering with cars, trying new things, and sharing my passion with all of you. So, thank you again for watching, and I'll see you in the next video!
