**The 2015 Geneva Motor Show: A Closer Look at the Toyota 86 Tractor**
We're getting ready to dive into the vast array of vehicles on display at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Our first stop is the Toyota 86 Tractor, a model that's been making waves in the automotive world with its impressive specifications and features.
**The Front of the Car**
As we take a closer look at the front of the car, we can see that it's been modified to make way for the new wheels. The gray car on display has wheels that are 800 grams lighter than those found on the 650s model. These lightweight wheels are designed to improve handling and reduce weight, making the car more agile and responsive.
**Interior Features**
Moving inside the car, we can see that the interior has been upgraded with a range of new features. The air conditioning system has been moved from the door panels to the center console, saving 3 kilograms in weight. Additionally, the seats have been lightened by 11 kilograms, making the car even more efficient.
**Suspension and Chassis**
Underneath the car, we can see that the suspension has been modified to improve handling and reduce weight. The front suspension is 20mm lower than before, giving the car a more aggressive stance. The rear suspension is also stiffer, with a 63% increase in stiffness compared to the 650s model.
**Engine and Performance**
The engine has undergone significant changes to improve performance and efficiency. The new m838t L engine produces 666 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful engines in its class. Torque has been increased by 516 pounds, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds.
**Exterior Features**
The exterior of the car has also been modified to improve aerodynamics and reduce weight. The rear wing is now 40% larger than before, giving the car more downforce at high speeds. Additionally, the car's body is made from lightweight materials, with a focus on reducing weight without compromising on performance.
**Design Inspiration**
The Toyota 86 Tractor has been designed to take inspiration from other cars in its class. The longtail F1 car was a key influence on the design team, and they've incorporated many of its features into their own vehicle. However, despite its similarities to the F1 car, the Toyota 86 Tractor is actually 34mm longer.
**Special Features**
For an extra £5,000, buyers can opt for the club support package, which includes a range of performance-enhancing features such as titanium roll hoops and fire extinguishers. The car has also been optimized to produce a unique sound, with a focus on improving its overall performance and driving experience.
**Comparison to the 488 GTB**
The Toyota 86 Tractor is set to go head-to-head with Ferrari's 488 GTB, which features a turbocharged engine that produces over 700 horsepower. Despite this, the Toyota 86 Tractor has been able to achieve similar top speeds of 205mph. Will its unique design and performance-enhancing features be enough to take it closer to F1 levels than the 488 GTB? Only time will tell.
**Conclusion**
The Toyota 86 Tractor is a car that's set to make waves in the automotive world. With its impressive specifications, unique design, and focus on performance and efficiency, it's clear that this car is going to be a contender in any competition. We can't wait to see how it performs in real-world driving situations and whether it's able to take on the best of the best from other manufacturers like Ferrari.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso this is the 675 longtail this is the most focused version of the what started out is the 12C I suppose and it's 33% different overall and 50% different in the engine as well I'm I'm going to throw lots of facts at you I've got my my crib sheet here so be prepared for lots of numbers and I'll try and get them all right we start at the front front splitter 80% bigger being further back here in fact the wheels that are on the gray car over there chicane gray one of four new colors this is Celica white you can also get uh a red and you can get apparently it's a really bold greeny yellow color anyway the wheels over there are 800 G lighter the lightest Wheels they do they're even lighter than the P1 Wheels come standard on a trao r Tire you can have a p 0 as an option of course is aren't in the program at all they're only building 500 of these and they're all going to cost uh what it 2 59,500 it's about a 60k mark up on a 650s moving further back so they've saved 50 kilos in weight and they've done that in all sorts of ways uh in electric so you've now got the uh what was the sort of the air conditioning stuff that was in the door panels is now moved to the center console uh that is saved and I'm now going to tell you 3 kilos we've also got uh 11 kilos there's no airon as standard so that's 11 kilos saving um P1 seats inside they say 15 kilos uh the glass so windscreen glass is a millimet thinner the bulkhead glass is half a millimet thinner and the rear engine cover is it's now plexiglass so that saves I think it's 4 and 1/2 4 and 1/2 kilos I'm doing well with the numbers here so on the front suspension it's 20 mm lower so you've got more of an aggressive rake on the car overall it's also 20 7% stiffer in the springs 63% stiffer at the rear going to get this right the radiators now have been angled 2 and2 de further out so you've got a 20 mm wider rear section of the car uh this is obviously more aggressive to get more air into the engine the engine overall is 50% different so we'll have a look at that now so at the rear of the car basically everything from the B pillar back is now new with new you've got carbon at this rear section of the car the engine you've got 13% lighter conrods you've got new turos and overall power is up to 666 rather devilish number to breake horsepower we're also up to 516 for torque that means not 62 mph is now 2.9 seconds and not to 124 mph is 7.9 seconds B num so you got a 15% bigger rear wing which accounts for you've now got a 40% more downforce than the 650s also if uh if you like your uh engine engine designations then you've got uh this is the m838t L the L for lightweight and low inertia apparently there we go we also got a titanium exhaust coming out of here and they wanted uh longer exhaust hes to increase performance and change the sound of it um but obviously instead of being straight through therefore it's now got uh call cross exhaust so it comes out like that the name LT longtail which obviously takes inspiration from car that's just over there which is the F1 longtail perhaps curiously it's only 34 mm longer but apparently they're saying that the longtail F1 was actually it wasn't just about the long tail it was all about of improving technology and of added lightweight and add and stuff so this is what they've done in this so there we go inside you can get a club support package for an extra £5,000 which could do titanium roll hoop and fire extinctions and harnesses and things like that it's yeah apparently it sounds very different and it's just yeah 205 mph top speed I forgot that's another another performance factor for you and the overall weight is say 100 kilos lighter so apparently it's amazing to drive it's really really different to 650s so we're certainly looking forward to it could this be the car that finally sort of takes the 12C closer to F OB we now got 488 GTB and that's that's turbocharged uh so yeah same exactly same top speeds 205 milph in both cars we're waiting to see how turbocharging affects Ferrari and if M Power have got it right in this and added a bit more emotion in it could be a very close battle indeed so there we go that is the stand at the 2015 Geneva Mo show leave all your comments in the boxes below and let us know what you thinkso this is the 675 longtail this is the
