speculation around the iPhone 7 due to release later this year and my buddy Sonny Dixon hooked me up with this elite case which should tell us a bit more about what the iPhone 7 may look like quick reminder before we get into it if you haven't already make sure you do subscribe because I'll have lots more iPhone 7 coverage coming up on the channel so looking at the case the first thing that stands out to me right away is the size it looks like the iPhone 7 will have a very similar form factor as the iPhone 6 and 6s so a 4.7 in display and let's try to slot the iPhone 6s into here to see if it fits and it does but taking a closer look the first thing that you'll notice is that the case doesn't fully wrap around the front this would suggest that the iPhone 7 will be thinner than the iPhone 6s so this does go in line with some rumors and also with Apple's record of producing thinner phones with each new design looking at the bottom some more changes here the thinner device will also mean that we won't have a headphone jack and what you can see from the iPhone 6s is that the headphone jack just about fits into this slim design so going Slimmer does hint that we're going to be losing the headphone jack and that has been heavily rumored personally I usually always use wireless headphones on my iPhone so don't think it's going to be a huge issue but apple and other manufacturers will be selling headphones with lightning connectors which should give you better quality sound and I'm sure they'll be lots of adapters to if you want to use your existing wide headphones the other thing here is that we have identical cutouts on either side of the lightning port and one rumor is that this time we'll be getting stereo speakers so if you do listen to a lot of stuff on your phone this will be a good thing for you and here's what it might look like now the sides are very similar here buttons look to be in the same places power button on the right hand side volume buttons with the mute switch on the left hand side and nothing at the top what does get interesting however is the back the camera cutout is much larger and also placed lower than before now this could mean a few different things firstly we may get a larger camera module which potentially means a larger sensor for better quality and low light images but this large cutout could also mean that we're going to be getting a dual camera setup the dual camera setup has been rumored a lot but may only come with the larger iPhone 7 plus or Pro Models and if we do have this it may be a refocus feature like we have on the HTC M8 but could also work like the LG G5 where you have a primary camera as well as a secondary camera for wide angle shots or apple could do something completely
