Morph into the RED RANGER with this wearable helmet (Unboxing)

**The Red Ranger Helmet: A Cosplayer's Dream Come True**

As I sat down to unbox the Power Rangers Red Ranger helmet, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nostalgia. This was more than just a novelty item for me - it was a chance to relive my childhood memories of watching the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series.

**A Brief History of the Helmet**

The Power Rangers franchise has been around since 1993, but the Red Ranger helmet is one of its most iconic and recognizable symbols. The show's original cast, including Jason David Frank (the Red Ranger) and Austin St. John (also known as the Red Ranger), left the series after a contract dispute, but their characters have made appearances in subsequent episodes and movies.

**First Impressions: A Trick-or-Treat Bucket or a Helmet?**

When I first held the helmet in my hands, I was taken aback by its weight and the plastic feel of it. To be honest, I expected something more substantial and less like a trick-or-treat bucket. However, as soon as I looked closer, I noticed the intricate details that made up the helmet's design - from the lips on the mask to the T-Rex teeth around the eyes and eyeballs above them. It was clear that this wasn't just a simple prop, but a carefully crafted replica of an actual battle helmet.

**Adjusting the Helmet: A Challenge**

One of the things I noticed about the helmet's design was the molded latches on the side, which were intended to mimic the show's props. However, these latches didn't quite function as I had expected - they seemed more like decorative elements than functional ones. This minor quibble aside, adjusting the strap behind the helmet proved to be a bit of an ordeal, requiring some careful maneuvering to get it just right.

**Visor Visibility: A Minor Complaint**

While the helmet itself was impressive, one area where I felt it fell short was in terms of visibility through the visor. As someone with glasses, I had to navigate around them while trying to see what I was doing - which wasn't exactly the most intuitive experience. Additionally, the visor's field of view was limited, and I had to duck down slightly just to get a full view.

**Wearing the Helmet: A Slight Nitpick**

One minor annoyance I encountered when wearing the helmet was how it sat on my head. The part where the helmet attached to the front mask seemed to be positioned slightly forward, rather than backward - which made putting the visor over my face more difficult than it needed to be. However, this quibble aside, the overall fit of the helmet was surprisingly comfortable.

**Displaying the Helmet: A Standout Piece**

Once I finally got the helmet on, I couldn't wait to show it off in a display setting. The provided stand allowed me to position the helmet at an angle, showcasing its intricate details from multiple angles. It was clear that this helmet had been crafted with care and attention to detail - every aspect of its design seemed to have been thought out carefully.

**Conclusion: A Must-Have for Cosplayers**

In the end, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and nostalgia while unboxing and wearing the Power Rangers Red Ranger helmet. Whether you're a hardcore cosplayer or just a fan looking for a unique display piece, this helmet is sure to be a hit. With its impressive design and attention to detail, it's clear that this is more than just a novelty item - it's a genuine work of art.

**Pre-Order Now**

For those interested in getting their hands on this incredible helmet, pre-orders are now available, with a price tag of around $80. Shipping is expected to arrive in August, so mark your calendars and get ready to join the ranks of the Red Ranger.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enbut I get to play with today a Red Ranger helmet it's from the Power Rangers lightning collection and the best part is you can actually wear this thing so let's unbox it try it on first we just need to take a second admire this beautiful box I mean it doesn't quite look like the Power Rangers toys from my childhood but I do like this ultra clean collector's edition look it really does feel like a premium item the front has all the important information says it's the Mighty Morphin red rage Mighty Morphin red Rick the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger and that's because it's the helmet from the original 1993 Red Ranger from the first season of the show you know Jason the back is pretty minimal with the text there's a paragraph in a few different languages giving a little bit of origin to the Red Ranger the sides look pretty cool too nice hero shot of the Red Ranger ooh nice one little half shot the top looks about the same and yeah not much else in terms of extra information extra tidbits about the product this doesn't really do much other than go on your head or on display and I can't imagine there's much else inside the box besides the helmet and stand but let's find out first I'm gonna cut off this tape simple enough and now is the moment of truth let's open this top staring you right in the face as you open it up a try pull this out all in one go that there what else is in here yep as I suspected the only other item in here is the stand because like it's a couple different parts so we'll see how that comes together so she's gonna get this box out of the way I think we've seen enough of that deal with the stand later we're going to see the helmet right open this plastic up ooh here it is look at that awesome inside looks like can definitely see some adjustment straps on the inside that you can adjust alright so before I open this up I just want to talk about what it feels like to hold this thing I can't say it feels like a helmet and I know that sounds strange I wasn't expecting to be able to go on a bike ride in this helmet and be fully protected but I was expecting something a little bit more than a trick-or-treat bucket and to me that's what the plastic of this helmet feels like just gonna go ahead and knock on the helmet so you can kind of get a sense for it it does look really cool though and the detail is pretty amazing everything from the lips on the mask to the t-rex teeth around the eyes and the eyeballs above that if its main purpose is to sit on my shelf and look cool then it definitely checks all the boxes this is a pretty cool detail there's some molded latches on the side which is from the show but I don't think these actually function pretty sure it's kind of just yep look at that didn't even have to do much to open it so those brackets on the side actually doing what you think they do so just like a bicycle helmet you can adjust the strap behind with this little turn wheel there's an additional strap at the front that you can tighten or loosen this hinge though is kind of flimsy like when I try to close it you kind of have to line it up perfectly otherwise you can accidentally have one side of it go crooked let's say like that see how I can kind of close it without it being totally in place you kind of have to you have to really aim for it alright let's see if I can get this on I need to do is loosen this quite a bit got a slightly big head this one will also have to be opened up now this helmet does come in just one size so hopefully it fits most people that buy it see I gotta take off my glasses in the back all right visibility through the mask is pretty good hopefully you can understand what I'm saying but I can see right through the visor very well do have a little bit of crappie right there it's not full field view till division and I'm already hot pretty great I can't see myself though well suppose back on one slight nitpick about wearing this is the place where your head sits inside the helmet is attached to the front part of the mask and I wish it was attached to the back part because when you put it on you kind of want to pull the visor over your face after the back is already in place but because it's attached to the front part you have to put the front part of the mask on first and then pull the back behind you like this so it fronts on and then it that way so you don't get that cool Power Ranger feeling of putting on a helmet where you would probably go I actually just quit my ears doing that I think I'm just looking for things to complain about I mean this is for cosplaying for display it's not like it's supposed to be a functioning battle helmet or is it alright let's check out the stand and how it looks on display there's a couple parts in here there is some instructions in here so let's see if I can't figure it out these aren't instructions this is like legal mumbo-jumbo that I don't care about well I guess who's gonna figure it out by a trial and error that clearly fits on there oh I see it's tax this way I'm gonna assume this probably goes round top like that all right and then the head should just nicely right there oh man seeing it on display like this makes me really happy let me give you a little back story on why the Red Ranger all of a sudden Austin st. John along with the actors that played Zach and Trini left the show sometime in the second season due to contract disputes but Jason's Red Ranger has made appearances in the series since if you stopped watching Power Rangers around the same time I did you know he was in turbo a Power Rangers movie which was the second one that whole lineup of original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers has been reprised in the form of comic books which are really interesting if you want to check those out and in an upcoming episode of Power Rangers beast markers which is the current iteration of Power Rangers Austin st.
