The Experience of Driving a Mini Cooper JCW Clubman

As I said it is pretty hard the suspension it's warp mode around town it is it is really really stiff but that's also a bit part of the mini experience you know it has to feel a bit like a go-kart it has to be you know Nimble agile jumping around uh yeah I I think you you really have to consider for yourself if you think that it is doable or if you think that you know you would go absolutely crazy if you would uh drive this every day. Speed wise power wise I mean this is quick little car as I said I always felt like the the 231 horsepower Works minis were a bit underpowered um and I I really think that this update it it was long overdue okay we'll put the traction control in sport mode gearbox and sport cars and sport mode Full Throttle launch control active there we go that's a lot of traction and that's a hundred that's 4.9 seconds no doubt about it uh this is a very very quick car and I I'm really happy that finally this car now has an appropriate amount of power.

The gearbox I'm not the biggest fan of still I think it's a bit jerky when you use the battles in sport mode sometimes it really lunges for forward thank you like that uh it's the same as with the BMW X2 m35i but you know that all four system with this engine I think this is a really good setup because It just fits the mini much better than a BMW in my opinion I like this better than uh this setup I like this setup better than the BMW X2 m35i.

I recently received an update on the car, including a new color option - white silver. This is a nice touch, as it provides contrasting colors with the red and black accents on the car's exterior. The 19-inch wheels look sharp, especially with the circuit spoke design.

Taking the car to the old man's house to show off its capabilities was fun. I put the digital speedo for everyone's viewing pleasure, and they could all see how quickly the Mini Cooper JCW Clubman accelerates.

Performance is an area where the Mini Cooper excels. With the engine in sport mode and the dampers set up that way as well, this car feels really quick and agile. A 0-60 km/h time of around 59 seconds is impressive for a car its size. Upgrading to four-piston brakes was also a welcome addition, providing better stopping power and control.

The engine itself is a highlight of the Mini Cooper JCW Clubman's performance. With its 556 horsepower, it provides plenty of grunt and acceleration. The feel of this engine in real-world driving is great - it's responsive and powerful without feeling too overpowering. This makes for a fun driving experience, especially when cruising around town or taking on winding roads.

The exhaust system has also been updated to meet modern emissions standards. While the sound output might not be as loud as some would prefer, it still provides a nice and sporty tone that complements the Mini Cooper's performance.

and today we've got the all-new 2020 Mini Clubman John Cooper Works the most powerful mini to date and today I'm going to show you around it show you all the cool stuff on this car then we'll take it demo car so yeah really cool that we could borrow this it's very nice with a lot of red accents of course the red stripe in the grill junk Works badge um this is a new Grille and you can see that this is actually the only part that they need for the cooling this is fake now as well I think I showed you that before uh as standard it comes on 18 inch wheels this has some Continentals and 19 inch wheels which is pretty nice uh Jungkook Works badge as standard you get four wheel drive all four it has new aerodynamically updated um mirror caps we've got a Red Roof some red striping down the side and of course the new rear lights with the Union Jack shape in there but I think for me personally I like this really light better than the the standard mini the regular mini because I think it's a little bit too obvious there and I think that with this shape it's a little bit more it's a little bit less obvious and I like that we've got a new exhaust as well with 95 millimeter tilt pipes and of course we've got the little doors at the rear with a decent loading area I would say that's not bad and of course these doors that's the the funkiest part about this car and well I'll show you guys the engine well because as I said it's the most powerful Mini because we have the two liter Twin power turbo engine uh four cylinder with 306 horsepower and 450 newton meters so this is basically the engine from the X2 m35i BMW and the BMW m135i X Drive the new one um it also has lifted slip diff at the front well it's it's a big step up because the previous Clubman jungkoop Works had 231 horsepower and 350 newton meters so that's a big step up and it it needed to be done as well because the 231 horsepower was not enough for this car and the Countryman John Cooper Works I mean they are just too heavy for to be to be really fast with uh 231 it was just a little bit too little so 306 horsepower that's awesome zero to 100 4.9 seconds which is pretty damn cool back stop speed to 250 kilometers an hour and well I guess that's it uh it's linked to the new eight-speed steptronic sport automatic gearbox which is the Asin unit so it's basically the the X2 m35i setup in here we've got some John Cooper work seats um and a little warning for you guys these are pretty hard so it's not a very comfortable seat and it's not that supportive either so you you sort of have the worst of Both Worlds um yeah you move around in it and it's hard so you know be aware that if you go check out a jungkooker Works check out these seats and see for yourself if you think that this is doable for you um the suspension is also pretty stiff as we're used to with John Cooper Works minis uh so yeah I would say just just go and drive one and see for yourself if you think that's acceptable we've got a double panoramic roof um which I think yeah one of them opens that's pretty nice that means that you get a lot of light in here and I have to say that the car feels a lot more spacious than the previous clotmans did it's really nice okay so we'll take it for a drive and we'll see what it's like but before we begin don't forget to check out our new watch it's called The motherhorn Limited to 30 pieces with a green nylon strap uh and some red accents like the stopwatch had and on the crown as well so go check it out in top right corner if you like it and then get on with this review okay digital Speedo for you guys right there there it is I hope you guys can see that now you can I guess all right that seems safe we've got a lot of fakes out through the speakers as you can hear I'm not I'm not a big fan of this and if I would buy this car I would definitely find a way to disengage this this fake sound because I think it's just distracting but anyway performance how does it feel I've got it in sport mode right now so the dampers are in sport mode as well and well this is quite a small a smarter one 556 57 I told you it was quick 59. 60 one kilometers an hour in a mini Clubman feels absolutely fine that's impressive that's seriously impressive we've got some bigger breaks as well upgraded four piston brakes for the John Cooper Works which is also very nice to have uh so let's do a pull from a little bit down low like 75 and you feel that torque 350 newton meters to 450 newton meters that's a big difference but you get that grunt down low as well it's really nice for you know driving around town and stuff like that just like that we're at 240 kilometers an hour again I mean oh I'm really happy about the fact that they put this this engine in this car because I think a fast mini should have a powerful four-cylinder so I think that this engine fits this car really well I also believe that the fast BMW should have a six cylinder that's why I'm a bit sad that the X2 m35i the new BMW m135i went to a four-cylinder but I think it actually fits this car better than those two it's also a matter of perception you know you want your BMW to have a straight six another four-cylinder hello yeah yeah uh these new exhaust with the OPF stuff it's just not as exciting as it used to be I mean I don't know if you guys have ever seen videos of of an older Mini with the joker Works Pro Exhaust that was absolutely insane and then it got killed off because of regulations it's worse because it's just very little exhaust sound coming from if you are going to buy this car uh which you know why not I'm not recommending you shouldn't I would definitely recommend to get an exhaust for this car because I think it will all things up a little bit so guys great the
