It's Worse Than I Thought...
**A Day in the Life: Oil Changes, Drifts, and Frustrations**
It was a day filled with oil changes, drifts, and frustrations as I embarked on my usual routine. First things first, I headed to Pet Boys because I needed some VR1 oil. However, they didn't have it, so I had to wind up getting Gojo oil instead. Not ideal, but I made do. As an added bonus, I got to discard my old oil and pick up a new one.
Next stop was AutoZone, where I attempted to find VR1 oil once again. Unfortunately, they also didn't have it in stock. But that wasn't the end of my adventure. I ended up using a magnet and some extra fluid to get by for now. The search for VR1 oil continues.
After all that, I decided to grab some food at F 54 & Grill, one of our favorite restaurants. We love their fast service and tasty meals, but what really puts them over the top is their generous portions. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good deal? Despite my initial hesitation about trying a new restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food.
But enough about that. My car has been giving me some problems lately. The oil levels have been low, and I've had to drain it multiple times already this month. Today's oil change was no exception. As I filled up the tank with fresh VR1 oil, I couldn't help but think about how much of a hassle it can be to deal with car maintenance. From changing the oil to fixing transmission problems, it's always something.
Speaking of which, my transmission fluid levels were a bit low, so I decided to take a closer look. That's when I discovered that my short shifter was exposed and in need of some extra lubrication. With the help of some brake cleaner and a few quick movements, I managed to get everything back in working order.
As I sat down to edit this video, I couldn't help but think about how much I love making videos for my audience. It's not always easy, especially when it comes to finding time to film and edit. But despite the challenges, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Of course, with all the craziness going on in my life right now, there are times when I think about just taking a break from creating content altogether. The Rolex 24-hour race is coming up, and that means our schedule will be filled to the brim. If we do end up stopping at the track, I'm not sure if we'll have time to upload another video the following day.
As I reflect on my day, I realize just how much goes into making a video like this. From changing oil to editing footage, it's all part of the process. And while some days are definitely more eventful than others, that's what makes it so rewarding.
For now, I'm just going to power through and get this video uploaded as soon as possible. If you guys don't see a new video up tomorrow, I apologize in advance for any inconvenience that may cause. But rest assured, I'll be back with more content soon enough.
As I close out the day, I want to say thank you to all my amazing viewers out there. Your support means the world to me, and I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful community behind me. Keep on loving me, and I promise not to let you down anytime soon!

oil on the 240 I haven't put like a crazy amount of miles on it but I know the oil is looking a little bit black and before the event tomorrow I just want to make sure she's ready conveniently enough I left the car all lined up on the lift so it's super easy just to toss it right up in the air real quick look at the Precision didn't even miss this just further confirms the unhealthy condition of my Sr but there are definitely metal shavings on this drain plug I went to wipe them off thinking it was something else and then I thought it was weird when it started like magnetically sticking to the rag as a point of reference too I probably should have warmed the car up well I definitely should have warmed the car up but I always get antsy to change the oil and I forget every single time I didn't have the right tool for taking off the oil filter so I used a trick that I learned where you just take some sandpaper you put it around and then you just do it with your bare hand and it it works Sav me a trip for getting the wrong tool everyone's coming over to ride in a little bit but in the meantime I've got some new dad hats that just came in that I've got to take some photos of we're waiting for our new photo booth to come in so I actually just took the photos on this table nothing like some good old wood grain riding every single day can be really hard on your body and I know when I used to do it I used to get super sore and it used to be really difficult totally unrelated to the yoga thing but I've always tried to make an importance on stretching I feel like sometimes I get lazy and don't do it but I can't express how much of a difference it makes after only stretching for like 3 days I can literally like touch the ground which used to be like impossible I can only used to be able to touch here so if you think about it if you take a crash and you're that flexible you're less likely to get hurt and I can do this too and like touch my foot to my butt so if I ever fall and go which I've done before I would like to think that I'd be a little bit better off so don't be lazy stretch before you ride or do any sort of physical activity because it makes a large difference we got a little lazy and pulled out the camera kind of late but I'm still going to try to get a couple quick clips for you guys um man y so I expired all my Clips the first time I wrote here I should have spread them out uh now I got to like try new things I guess Mason let's try the 450 you first well now I said it on camera I should have S thought I should have S that through all right you got this take off at the top you said yeah you'll you'll figure it out it's easy if you land flat it doesn't hurt yeah that's what I'm thinking dude a little low yeah I traveled ow this is starting in a 450 School everyone's trying their first 450s here James going to start trying it too I just did a 270 for the first time ever come on James oh beautiful yeah bro okay dang it that was scary wow who put this tree here can we get a longer ramp it couldn't have happened sketchier if dud thank you I tried to be smart and drain my oil first that way when I go to pick up more oil I can just dispose of it there F got a quick opening over at the barber shop so I'm going to head out really quick and try to get a haircut I'm in dire need got a nice haircut and I don't know why I think this is so funny but we went to Pet Boys because I needed some VR1 oil they didn't have it so I wind up getting Gojo discarding my old oil getting some brake cleaner and then we went to AutoZone to try to find VR1 they didn't have it and I wind up getting a magnet and some extra fluid and then we finally went to Advance Auto and found VR1 yay what an adventure it only took three auto part stores now we're going to go get some f I've slept so much she's literally been sleeping all day I'm really sick and I wake up in pools of sweat thank you you're welcome thank you st we love this F place but it's always empty and we're like honestly really scared that it's going to close down or go out of business so good and they're so fast and the service is so good and it tastes so good and the portions and the price and everything so if you guys ever want to come here and check it out it's called f 54 and Grill in OVO they didn't give us free food or like P us to say that or anything we generally just don't want this restaurant that we like to close down and I'm fearful that it might you my keys yeah I do good cuz I don't I forgot you don't have that technology yet I'm pretty sure that's all metal in there oh my God it's so bad you can hear it crunch if you've never heard of metal shavings in oil before the easiest way to explain it is there's a lot of metal components that have friction and move against each other inside the engine and when something gets damaged they start to wear away and you find a little metal chunks and pieces in the oil which is really really bad cuz then instead of the oil lubricating the engine you have these little pieces of metal going around causing more damage to other stuff and then you have a low compression motor and it gets worse and worse and worse until it stops functioning altogether should I be drifting this tomorrow probably not but I already knew the motor isn't really healthy and I have another one on the way and I plan on rebuilding it anyway so at this point I'm just enjoying it and I think changing the oil is really smart to prevent any more damage I really need to learn to start using funnels cuz I always makes such a mess when we had the car in the air we took the transmission fluid and it was a little bit low so I pulled that little shifter boot off and now this is my short shifter exposed I pull these four all out and I should be able to just pour some more down in there the shifter just kind of slides up and there's these little springs and things that come out with it I think I was pretty low because this feels so incredibly smooth compared to how it used to be and the car is not even warm yet I think one of my favorite things about YouTube is just showcasing how stupid I am sometimes it's just really fun to laugh at yourself so the other day I lowered the car off the lift and because I'm an inexperienced person with lifts I didn't realize it was in neutral and sure enough roll back crunch crunch crunch crunch on the lift but I learned my lesson it's currently 12:30 I have to get up around 7:30 and I still need to edit and upload this video I was contemplating on just not making a video tomorrow but it's so hard to give up on the streak so what I thought that I would do is just kind of power through this video so if it was edited a little bit rather quickly I'm sorry but I really hope you appreciate that I uploaded because this is taking a lot out of me to do so if you could hit that like button it' mean a lot after the drift event we we might stop at the Rolex 24-hour race in which case we might not be back till very very late and I might not have a video up the following day so if I don't have a video up tomorrow I'm really sorry I just hope you understand there's so much going on and everything takes longer than I expect but I appreciate you guys watching so much I hope you've enjoying these daily videos and if I do miss a day don't hate me I'll see you guys soon when you say that you love me that you knowyou wake up out of bed and what do you do maybe change your socks change your shirt well I woke up and I'm going to change my oil it's been a while since I
