The Experience of Stepping Outside on a Cold Taipei Morning

As we stepped out of the air-conditioned space, we were greeted by an unexpected temperature drop to 40 degrees outside. It was as if we had just come out of a freezer, and it was quite a shock. I couldn't help but laugh at the realization that someone forgot to bring their business card. The sudden change in environment was quite disorienting, and it took us a moment to adjust.

The Strange Incident at 1:00 a.m.

At 1:00 a.m., we were in the middle of editing our work when all the lights suddenly went off. It was a bit creepy, and we were afraid for a brief moment. The darkness was short-lived, but it was enough to make us feel uneasy. We quickly got back to editing, trying to make sense of what had just happened.

Troubles with Our Laptop

We've been experiencing some issues with our laptop lately, specifically the blue screen of death and losing work in progress. To rectify this, we've been re-editing our work due to frequent crashes in the middle of a save. Fortunately, we received some help from Gigabyte, which has been instrumental in helping us get back on track. We brought home their notebook for the show, hoping it would be a reliable solution.

The Unexpected Discovery at HWC

Our plan was to check if the new laptop was password-protected before using it. However, when we plugged it in, we were surprised to find that it worked seamlessly. It was as if someone had magically figured out how to get it working despite our best efforts. We soon realized that we hadn't set a password for the laptop, and we definitely didn't have the necessary installation materials or a Taiwanese notebook with it. The whole experience left us feeling a bit bewildered.

Finding HWC on a Rainy Day

As we were about to leave for our meeting, we stumbled upon a coffee shop called HWC. Despite the rain and the fact that Hurricane Ike Roasters Mike joked that it was closed, we found it and discovered that it served delicious coffee. The iced latte at HWC was truly exceptional, giving us goosebumps. We were surprised by the sheer size of the raindrops, which made it look like a thick fog.

Our Last Full Day in Taipei

On our last full day in Taipei, we decided to make the most of the situation despite the gloomy weather. We had planned to visit the National Palace Museum, but when we arrived, we found ourselves in the middle of a massive cloud with big raindrops falling from it. It was as if we had just missed the rain, and we were relieved that our timing was good. The weather did make for a perfect opportunity for a leisurely walk in the park.

The Desk After a Full Week of Production

As I looked around at our workspace after a full week of production, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the experience. It had been a wild ride, and we had learned to adapt to unexpected challenges. We had come a long way since our initial struggles with the laptop, and it was clear that we had made significant progress. The desk was cluttered with notes and reminders, a testament to the hard work and dedication that had gone into completing the project.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the experience of working on this project in Taipei. It has been an incredible journey, full of unexpected twists and turns. I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with such a talented team and to have had the chance to learn from our mistakes. with installation video on it we didn't happen to have a notebook that was in Taiwanese and we definitely didn't reinstall windows on it we didn't we hold on guys we forgot to unplug this oh yeah we should have used so nothing this is our second last morning together and we have some of the exciting coffee place to visit that is called HWC so the story behind HWC is very simple we were walking towards the meeting and we just happen to find the store or the restaurant all that me where well done it is incredibly hard but it's also raining slightly so it's got a little cooling effect going on all right we found it Hurricane Ike Roasters Mike was just joking around that it's closed make th epics offset delicious coffee this is a fantastic coffee HWC Roasters definitely check it out either it's the best iced latte I've ever had you got goosebumps when you do it's a freakin amazing one of the best coffees I've ever had we were just about to go to the National Palace Museum when I've never seen raindrops that big it's so thick I mean you can see individual and I'm surprised people are drawn the scooter and the scooter is going and that looks scared everybody everybody down there's like no so it is our last full day in Taipei and while it is raining and the weather is not the best we're still going to take a full advantage of today go see the National Palace Museum meet some other awesome people in there we have arrived just in time for the beautiful weather looks like we just missed the rain but there's a massive cloud behind us hopefully we don't get soaked but nice
