These Earbuds Let You Hear EVERYTHING!

**Open-Ear Earbuds: A Revolutionary Audio Experience**

When it comes to earbuds, most of us are accustomed to traditional in-ear designs that sit snugly inside our ears. However, with the latest innovation from Shock, we're introduced to a new breed of earbuds that redefine the way we listen to music and audio content. These open-air style earbuds, aptly named Open-Ear Earbuds, use bone conduction technology to deliver high-quality audio without being enclosed within our ears.

**Customization and Control**

One of the standout features of these earbuds is their customization capabilities. The companion app allows users to fine-tune various settings, including volume controls, EQ settings, and even a "base boost" option that enhances the low-end frequency response. Double tapping on either side of the earbud toggles between playing and pausing music, while holding the button activates playback control. This level of customization is rare in the world of earbuds, making these products a dream come true for audiophiles.

**Air Conduction vs Bone Conduction**

While traditional in-ear earbuds use air conduction to deliver sound, Open-Ear Earbuds employ bone conduction technology instead. This innovative approach uses vibrations from the driver to stimulate the bones in your skull, creating a more immersive audio experience that doesn't require direct contact with the outer ear. While this may seem unconventional at first, it's actually quite effective in delivering crisp and clear sound.

**Battery Life and Charging**

With up to 28 hours of battery life, these earbuds offer an impressive level of durability for their size. The Quick Charge feature allows users to get two hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging, making them a great choice for those who need a reliable audio companion on-the-go. Additionally, the earbuds are IP54 sweat and water resistant, ensuring they can withstand even the most intense workouts or rainy days.

**Open Swim Pro: A Swimmer's Best Friend**

For those who enjoy swimming or engaging in aquatic activities, Shock has created an upgraded version of their Open-Ear Earbuds designed specifically for use underwater. The Open Swim Pro earbuds utilize bone conduction technology to deliver audio while swimming, eliminating the need for Bluetooth connectivity or any external devices. This allows users to listen to music, podcasts, or even MP3 files directly from the earbuds themselves, making them a game-changer for swimmers.

**Design and Durability**

The Open-Ear Earbuds have a sleek and stylish design that's sure to turn heads. Available in two color options – red and gray – these earbuds are not only functional but also fashionable. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable fit, while the durable materials withstand even the most rigorous use.

**Retail Price**

At $120 for the standard Open-Ear Earbuds and $179.99 for the Open Swim Pro, these products are priced competitively in the market. Considering their innovative technology, impressive battery life, and customization capabilities, it's clear that Shock has created a truly exceptional audio experience worth considering.

**Conclusion**

Open-Ear Earbuds represent a bold new chapter in earbud design, offering an immersive audio experience without the need for traditional in-ear designs. With their customizable settings, bone conduction technology, and impressive battery life, these earbuds are sure to captivate audiophiles and casual listeners alike. Whether you're hitting the gym, working out, or just enjoying music on-the-go, Open-Ear Earbuds are an excellent choice that's worth considering.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enif you've ever wanted to use earbuds but you hate how they sit in your ear shocks has been doing a lot to change all of that they just dropped their new earbuds the open Fit air now at first glance you might think these look like your typical ear hook design bluetooth earbuds but these don't have that piece that goes inside of your ear no ear tips to deal with they pretty much sit right on top and then they send the music to you they're basically like tiny speakers for personal audio now shocks not too long ago came out with the open fit those are the bigger brother to the open fit airs and box has actually made some improvements to the comfort of the open Fe airs with some really nice changes to the ear hook so those ear hooks have this ultra thin flexible memory alloy inside and it allows you to get a more snug fit I say it all the time in these earbud videos but I have bad ears and these fit so much better than a lot of ear hooks that I used in the past I usually like to wear a hat with my ear hook earbuds so that the Hat can kind of keep them in place with this don't seem to have to worry about that at all now I love this because every time I'm shooting a video and I've got headphones or earbuds on I'm always asking like oh am I screaming or something I don't really have to worry about that right now because this is an open ear design so I still have access to my ear canals I know what kind of volume I'm speaking at and I love that because as someone who likes to listen to music while at home I like to wear headphones and earbuds but if AR's calling me or maybe the kids are calling me I can't just block them out even if I want to and this gives you the flexibility to kind of listen listen to your music without missing anything going on around you that's great for folks who are cycling who are jogging outside where you got to be aware of your environment that's where the open ear design really shows its value uh just being able to know what's going on in your surroundings have conversations and honestly I think from a design perspective you can even take this into the workplace if you're allowed to have them on and you don't have to worry about anybody sneaking up on you and tapping your shoulder or something uh because you still have that environmental awareness thanks to open your design and with these earbuds you get this touch panel right here on the like shocks logo and it allows you to do a couple of different things there are no buttons on here so that's where you can control your audio or your music you have the ability to double tap on each earbud as well as press and hold so you have different commands you can actually go into the app and change the settings so I think right now out of the box play and pause on the left side when you double tap and then next track when you double tap on the right earbud and when you press and hold you can either increase or decrease your volume uh that's what I have a set to Super useful uh especially volume controls uh but yeah you get a lot of customization within the app so you can fine tune it to how you want it to behave when using the panel now these also have a bevel driver basically the driver kind of goes towards your ear canal but unlike in earbuds that actually go into your ear canal this just gets it closer to bring you that audio and a lot of people might know shocked for their bone conduction technology but this is actually using air conduction but this is completely different Tech to deliver the audio now with these openair style audio products there's opportunities for a lot of Misses in the audio department like we see that with you know open ear earbuds or even sunglasses with audio built into them in this product category you really got to test it to see if it's going to be up to Snuff and I think shocks has done a really good job here uh the audio that is delivered sounds a lot better than what I think most people would expect for something that's not inside of their ears and they have a few EQ settings Within the app so you can change the sound a bit and for me personally I like the base boost option I feel like it gives you the fullest sound but depending on what you're doing you might want to get your vocals up maybe if you're having a phone conversation or if you want to up the trouble it's up to you but it is situational if you need to get the vocals up you have that option but me personally I like the base boost the most now these also feature up to 28 hours of battery life which is absolutely great for a pair of earbuds and you also get the Quick Charge feature which gives you 2 hours with 10 minutes of charging this also has multi-point pairing so you can pair two devices at the same time if you want to have your phone and your tablet or your phone and your computer or laptop you're going to be able to do that now these retail for 120 so it's the cheaper option compared to the Big Brother the open fit you like that which I think is pretty interesting cuz you don't usually see product improvements with the cheaper version but we do have the improvements that we see here with the ear hook and all that stuff so pretty surprising it's also ip54 sweat and water resistant so if you want to work out with these not going to be an issue or if you're in the rain not going to be a problem whatsoever but if you really want to get in the water shocks did send over the open swim Pro which is an upgrade to their original open swim and guys I'm not a big swimmer but that thing's kind of crazy now like the name says these are meant to be used while swimming so this actually uses bone conduction technology instead of the air conduction that the open Fit air and the open fit have and with that bone conduction technology you'll be able to actually listen to audio while swimming and I think it's pretty safe to say listening to earbuds or headphones while swimming not really an option for most people but with something like this it definitely is what's nice here is that this is upgraded from their previous version which allows you to have both an MP3 player built in as well as Bluetooth so when you're actually going for a swim you're going to use that mp3 mode that basically gives you 32 gigs of storage and allows you to put like up to 8,000 songs directly onto the earbuds and you're going to be able to be underwater and live listen to the things that you have on the earbuds themselves so you don't have to worry about any Bluetooth connection swimming away from your phone it's all going to be on device and if you want to use these outside of the water you also have that Bluetooth option so that you can listen to whatever it is that this is connected to these are ip68 water resistant so you can go down 2 m I'm not ever going that deep but you can go that deep if you want while rocking these and listening to music but yeah these look dope they have a couple of color options this is the red version and I believe they also have a gray these also retail for $179.99 I'll have links to everything down below in the description but you guys let me know what your thoughts are on open ear earbuds uh if you don't like those little earbuds in your ears you can't stand the silicone uh these are definitely something you're going to want to look intoif you've ever wanted to use earbuds but you hate how they sit in your ear shocks has been doing a lot to change all of that they just dropped their new earbuds the open Fit air now at first
