Raycon E55 VS Airpods Pro

open them pull them out click them boom connected airpods open the case press the button down press connect now we get our fancy loading screen thing and yeah now they're paired now we're going to show the connectivity speeds between the two alright start the raycons so they appear right as they disconnect from the power all right that was pretty quick all right so for a second time to keep consistency all right now let's go for the airpods so i have to cover all the sensors on this one so it's a little bit harder to officially time all right pretty quick and one more time nice all right now for the android phone so we're gonna start with the raycons scan pop them out of the case right there okay and they're paired well looks like i can't seem to get them to pop up for android mainly apple users be the ones using the airpods pros anyways but yeah now for the mic quality my ears right now are the raycon e55s and this is my quality to expect from them testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good i'm just talking to them as if i'll be like on a phone call or anything like that there's my ears and uh yeah i'll also be including the crowd effect in the background start that now all right so now we have the sound effects in the background testing testing on c3 i hope this sounds pretty good all right so in my ears right now are the air pods pro and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good um they should be a step up from the previous generation and yeah i will also be including the uh background noise and we're gonna see how they do with that ready to get set go alright now we have background noise of a stadium and hopefully it sounds pretty good still and you can just hear me talking and uh yeah so testing testing one two three turn the volume up even more as high as it can go and uh yeah let's go now for the features and cool things about the two they both have wireless charging they both connect automatically when you pull them out of the case they both have touch functions but that's where all the similarities end i mean you kind of get what you pay for the airpods have ear sensors really good integration with ios active noise cancellation and ambient mode the raycons have some noise cancellation but not active noise cancellation also you can change the name for the airpods personally for some of these features after getting used to them it's hard for me to downgrade like i use the ambient mode on the airpods pro the most it's like your own ear it just works so well you can like hear everything around you and they can hear your music it's just a it's a great combo all right now for my personal opinion about the two overall after using these two side by side for the past like week this is my conclusion they're both good devices the airpods definitely have more features than the raycons the raycons are still a decent value actually i know i dogged on the raycon e25s a lot but these ones are a significant upgrade from those i definitely prefer these ones over those ones they just have so many more features that are just like useful like they have wireless charging usb type-c they have better battery they look cooler the case is better they have a little hook thing overall i really like these ones much better honestly so when i hold the two side by side i definitely i would pick the air pods but if i but if i didn't want to spend 250 which a lot of people don't want to spend that much i i this is a pretty good option so far it's probably one of the best options i've tested i'm still you know i'm still looking for other options but for now these ones are pretty good i give them a good score i really like them all right if you like to check out any of these earbuds the links will be in the description be sure to check out my website make sure i subscribe

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what is up youtube welcome to the cusp of interest so today i'll be comparing the raycon e55 to the airpods pro one thing i need to clarify is i am not being paid by raycon or apple i'm trying to keep this review as unbiased as i possibly can and be sure to leave any complaints in the comments all right so i'll be using the ca scoring method 2.0 to compare these two if you'd like to see how these headphones compare to others i've reviewed in the past you can go check out my new website customerventures.com there you can find all my all the scores and the whole ca scoring method explanation and yeah be sure to check it out i'll leave it linked in the description also be sure to subscribe because i'm doing giveaways every saturday now all right getting right into the packaging of the two all right so the airpods come in a little white box with the image of the headphones on the front apple seems to have taken a minimalist packaging approach where on the raycons they take a completely different route for their packaging the whole thing is a sea green color it has image of the earbuds on the front and all the specs on the front on the back of the packaging for the airpods they have an image of the headphones in the case also for the raycons they have an image of the headphones in the case on the back of the box but with specs and other things like in your face more it's just interesting to see the two completely different ways of packaging all right opening the two the lid for the airpods comes off smooth and satisfyingly the raycon's lid stays on via magnets so they're both pretty fancy you get an insert right away when removing both of the tops for the raycons they say next wave in the airpods they say designed by apple in california after those you get the headphones below the raycons is a fancy metal thing with five different ear tip sizes below that there's a charger and a little cord to hook onto the case for the airpods there's two more pairs of ear tips and a charging cable all right now for the design of the case they both come in pretty small cases the case for the raikons is a bit smaller in length and width wise but they are taller than the airpods the raycons have a matte texture that covers pretty much the whole case there's a metal ring in the middle that has a hook on it the lid for the raycons is pretty satisfying but i wish it would stay open a bit better the airpods lid stays open better and has a bit more satisfying closing noise they both have wireless charging the airpods use lightning port to charge where the raycons use usb type-c for me i'm stuck between the two charging cables personally i prefer the usb-c cable but i have way more lightning cables both of the earbuds stay down with magnets now for the design of the earbuds removing both of the earbuds at the same time looking at the two side by side they look nothing alike first of all the air pods are white and that's the only color they come in the raycons come in seven different colors i think so you get more options with the raycons they both have an in-ear design with silicon ear tips the raycons kind of seem fat when you hold them in your hands but personally they fit really well in my ears i think that they fit a bit sleeker than the airpods the airpods keep a better hold in my ear though for me when i move my ears with the raycons in sometimes the seal will come undone in my ear canal and it won't like you won't get that full seal where you seal everything outside for the airpods i've never had that problem for the airpods they have ear sensors on them so when you pull them out of your ear they will pause automatically the raycons have no sensors like this for the touch functions the air pods have a little squeeze pad on the side and the raycons have a little button on the side to press for the raycons the button is difficult to repress and it can hurt your ear when you press it they both connect automatically when you pull them out of the cases for the raycon when you pull them out of the case they say raycon and for the airpods they have a little monotone sound to indicate pairing now for the price of the earbuds the airpods pro come in at 250 dollars and the raycon e55s come in at 99 us dollars now for the audio quality of the two after listening to the two side by side the airpods are a bit sharper sounding than the raycons it's not too significant of a difference but the raycons seem to be more bass heavy but this also sacrifices some of the highs they are both very loud the airpods seem to just want as much balance as they can possibly get which isn't a bad thing but things can sound bland to me i don't really know how to explain it it just sounds pretty good now for the battery life of the two the airpods pro can get around 5 hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case okay just a clarification i have personally tested the battery life on the airpods pro but i haven't done an official test on the raycons yet they claim to get six hours of playback with an additional 36 hours with the case but be sure to get subscribed because i'll be doing an official battery drain test with the raycon e55s to see if they really do beat the airpods personally i'm kind of skeptical of that 36 hours the case just seems too small but we'll see now for the connectivity of the two all right so now i'll be showing the pairing process between the two and i'll also be including ios and on android because that was one of your complaints on the previous raycon video that i didn't include android in this one but i got you all right so first we're gonna start with the iphone okay so we got the raycons open them pull them out click them boom connected airpods open the case press the button down press connect now we get our fancy loading screen thing and yeah now they're paired now we're going to show the connectivity speeds between the two alright start the raycons so they appear right as they disconnect from the power all right that was pretty quick all right so for a second time to keep consistency all right now let's go for the airpods so i have to cover all the sensors on this one so it's a little bit harder to officially time all right pretty quick and one more time nice all right now for the android phone so we're gonna start with the raycons scan pop them out of the case right there okay and they're paired well looks like i can't seem to get them to pop up for android mainly apple users be the ones using the airpods pros anyways but yeah now for the mic quality my ears right now are the raycon e55s and this is my quality to expect from them testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good i'm just talking to them as if i'll be like on a phone call or anything like that there's my ears and uh yeah i'll also be including the crowd effect in the background start that now all right so now we have the sound effects in the background testing testing on c3 i hope this sounds pretty good all right so in my ears right now are the air pods pro and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good um they should be a step up from the previous generation and yeah i will also be including the uh background noise and we're gonna see how they do with that ready to get set go alright now we have background noise of a stadium and hopefully it sounds pretty good still and you can just hear me talking and uh yeah so testing testing one two three turn the volume up even more as high as it can go and uh yeah let's go now for the features and cool things about the two they both have wireless charging they both connect automatically when you pull them out of the case they both have touch functions but that's where all the similarities end i mean you kind of get what you pay for the airpods have ear sensors really good integration with ios active noise cancellation and ambient mode the raycons have some noise cancellation but not active noise cancellation also you can change the name for the airpods personally for some of these features after getting used to them it's hard for me to downgrade like i use the ambient mode on the airpods pro the most it's like your own ear it just works so well you can like hear everything around you and they can hear your music it's just a it's a great combo all right now for my personal opinion about the two overall after using these two side by side for the past like week this is my conclusion they're both good devices the airpods definitely have more features than the raycons the raycons are still a decent value actually i know i dogged on the raycon e25s a lot but these ones are a significant upgrade from those i definitely prefer these ones over those ones they just have so many more features that are just like useful like they have wireless charging usb type-c they have better battery they look cooler the case is better they have a little hook thing overall i really like these ones much better honestly so when i hold the two side by side i definitely i would pick the air pods but if i but if i didn't want to spend 250 which a lot of people don't want to spend that much i i this is a pretty good option so far it's probably one of the best options i've tested i'm still you know i'm still looking for other options but for now these ones are pretty good i give them a good score i really like them all right if you like to check out any of these earbuds the links
