6 Holiday Romance Recommendations

**Holiday Romances to Warm Your Heart**

As the winter season approaches, there's no better way to get into the holiday spirit than with a good romance novel. In this article, we'll be discussing six holiday romances that are sure to warm your heart and leave you feeling cozy.

**White Christmas Inn: A Cozy Wholesome Read**

White Christmas Inn by Sarah Morgan is a romantic tale that takes place in a charming inn where everyone gets snowed in. The story follows the couple who owns the inn, as well as a single woman trying to finish her novel, a widower with his two children, and a woman whose wedding got called off just days before the big day. With multiple points of view and romantic plotlines, this book is a great choice for anyone looking for a heartwarming holiday read. I particularly appreciated two of the romantic storylines, which were low-stakes and unserious - sometimes you just want something light and fun to read over the holidays.

One thing that sets White Christmas Inn apart from other romance novels is its focus on character development. The author takes the time to get to know each of the characters, making it easy to become invested in their stories. Additionally, the pacing is well-balanced, with a good mix of humor, drama, and romance. Overall, I highly recommend White Christmas Inn as a great holiday read.

**Mary Inas: A Geeking Romance with a Perfect Blend of Flirtation**

Another holiday romance that caught my eye was Mary Inas by Talia Hibbert. This book is about our geeky heroine Bailey who works at the front desk of a tattoo shop and Cash, the owner of the shop, who crashes on her couch pretty hard. However, he's always there when she needs him, and it's clear that they have strong feelings for each other - although they're careful not to cross any boundaries because of their professional relationship.

I was impressed by how well-balanced this book is. It has a great epilogue that is over the top in all the best ways, which I love from a holiday romance. The story is also perfect because it's low-stakes and light - sometimes you just want to read something fun without feeling like you need to invest too much emotional energy. And let's be real, Talia Hibbert is an amazing author who knows exactly what makes a good romance novel.

One thing that stood out to me about Mary Inas was its focus on geek culture. Bailey is a tattoo shop employee, and the book is full of fun references to comic books, sci-fi, and more. It's clear that the author is passionate about these things, and it adds a unique touch to the story.

Overall, I highly recommend Mary Inas as a great holiday read. With its perfect blend of romance, humor, and geek culture, this book has something for everyone.

love to read from but I feel like I never know what book to pick up next because I just am not well versed in what's coming out book of the month always hooks it up and the experience every month I had to get the Thriller selection this month no one can know is a story about a trio of sisters who try to solve the mystery of what happened to their parents many years ago when they were unfortunately murdered and if you want something a little bit more light-hearted you could go for a winter in New York like I did this book is about Iris who travels to New York and while she's there she kind of has this chance encounter with a guy who I believe owns a gelato shop and she realized is that gelato recipe is the same one that her grandmother passed down to her and I think there's sort of like a romance that occurs as well super excited to dive into both of these and if you'd like to check out either of these books or any of the other book selections this month with book of the month you can use code sweater to get your first book for just $5 thanks again to book of the month for sponsoring this portion of today's video now let's talk holiday romances I won't lie the majority of these are Christmas romances if not all of them but I feel like they're going to get you in the holiday spirit and they kind of run the gamut between short sweet and smudy and then a little bit more deep and emotional first up on the list is kisser once for me by Alis and Cochran this is the book that kind of inspired this video in the first place I love the idea of a holiday romance but it's kind of hard honestly for me to find ones that I really truly connect with and really love this is the first one that I think really did it for me or really I guess open my eyes to the fact that holiday romances can be really excellent and it actually just happened to be a book of the month selection last year and when I read it I absolutely fell in love because it's the perfect mix of like cozy and sincere like there's not really a lot of cheesiness going on with this one despite the premise so the book is about Ellie and Jack they have this sort of like chance encounter I don't want to many years ago it's one year ago on Christmas I believe they like meet at a bookstore they have this like instant connection and then they kind of go their separate ways Ellie never sees Jack again until the following Christmas time I suppose you could say Ellie is kind of falling on her time she has come to the city in search of like good career opportunities but she's having a really really hard time and her landlord like kind of strikes a deal with her and is like hey I kind of need someone to go with me to my family's Christmas I also need someone to marry me to get my family inheritance I know you've fallen on Hard Times how about we get married and I'll give you some of my inheritance and this is just an offer that is just too good to pass up for Ellie so she decides to take it but that kind of gets her into hot water because she goes to the family Christmas home and uh she comes across Jack and so Jack and Ellie kind of have to fight their feelings for each other because obviously they need to pull this off there's like a will involved there's money involved and it is just so Charming so delightful also I should probably mention that Jack is a woman so this is a queer romance which is super fun and I loved every bit of it like yes the setup is kind of like I guess kind of cheesy kind of generic but the characters are really what makes this one stand apart from the others I feel like Ellie was just so deeply relatable and I really felt for her in her hard times kind of situation and then Jack I just loved I thought she was so fun I just feel like this romance did it for me because of the characters they feel like real people when they get together it is so explosive like the tension that builds over time is just so there and then the tension doesn't let you down when they finally do get together I think if you're looking for something that is again cozy sincere and also sexy I feel like you would really really enjoy this one it's a book that I feel like I heard people talk about last year but I don't feel like I hear much about now but this one is definitely my number one pick if you're looking for a truly delightful holiday read next up is another in my opinion equally delightful holiday read and that is window shopping by Tessa Bailey I feel like this was one that got really hyped when it came out in 2021 but again it's one that I feel like I don't hear recommended a lot I feel like most of these books right they come out during the holiday season people read the book and then we all just kind of forget about them until like the next holiday season where like new books are coming out I don't feel like we revisit a lot of old holiday romances so hopefully I'm like reminding you that this book has come out and that you should read it if you haven't already anyway this is a book about Stella and Aiden Stella has recently gotten out of prison and she is looking for a fresh start she is sitting in front of this like department store window she's checking out the display and she is really unimpressed and she makes kind of like an off-hand remark to the person that's standing next to her about how horrible this display is and like what she would do differently and the person next to her actually kind of asks like oh yeah what would you do differently and she has like this whole idea this whole plan in place and the person that's standing next to her of course is the owner of the department store who is I believe trying to like impress his family and like maybe gain full ownership of the store or something like that he's like you know what I'm going to take a chance and I am going to let this woman take take charge I guess she's going to be the one that's going to make the holiday display what it should be you know like when you're walking down the streets of New York you see these like elaborate Christmas displays like that's what Stella is going to be in charge of of course they kind of fall in love along the way and if the first book kisser once for me was all about the characters this book is all about the relationship Dynamic Aiden is kind of like a Ted lasso sort of character he's got this overwhelmingly positive upbeat sort of personality and Stella because of like the situation she's been in throughout her life is definitely not sunshiny she's definitely grumpy it's sort of a reverse grumpy Sunshine thing and their relationship Dynamic is just so fun to watch it's kind of mindboggling to me honestly that a Ted lasso inspired hero could be sexy but somehow it works and of course in typical like Tassa Le fashion this book is incredibly sexy so I think you got like the whole package here you get a really fun relationship Dynamic you get decent enough uh romance development I guess you could say and then you also get of course good smanging times it's a fun time I think this is like light-hearted fun that a lot of us need this holiday season all right sure love Light Farms you could say is an obvious choice to put on this list but I know that some of you out here have heard about this book and still haven't picked it up it's going to go on the list Love Light Farms by BK borison this book is about a different Stella who is trying to get this uh Christmas tree farm I was going to stay up and running but she's trying to get it to be successful someone sold it to her and it has always been her dream to like have this like cozy small town life to have this like Christmas tree farm right like typical Hallmark so unfortunately things are not as easy as Stella might have thought she does have other people working for her there's like a bake shop I believe on the premises there's also someone who helps her with the actual like farming part of the Christmas tree farm but she's not exactly in the black right and she's worried that if she's not able to kind of pull off this Christmas season that she might have to find something else to do and that's not really an option for Stella so she comes across this ad by one of her favorite travel influencers not even an ad but a contest shall we say where you can win $100,000 if you have like the most romantic small town setting I don't know I can't remember exactly what the contest is for okay the idea is that you're supposed to have this like Charming place for this person to come visit and whoever has the most Charming Place gets $100,000 and Stella of course has a Charming Christmas tree farm so she's like okay I'm going to apply but to make it a truly romantic place to come she pitches herself as someone who fell in love on this Christmas tree farm and uh she actually doesn't have a boyfriend so that makes things kind of challenging she enlists the help of her best friend Luca who she's known for such a long time and she's like hey pretend to be my boyfriend so I can win this contest she didn't have to say that like she didn't have to say that she had a boyfriend to get someone to come to her farm and like potentially win this contest but of course being Stella she she does that and uh so now she has to fake date her best friend and of course fake relationship turns into real feelings and Luca and Stella have this just truly delightful friends to lovers relationship it's one of those relationships that feels very like Luke and Laura Li it's they've been friends forever they've got like their own kind of language that they speak and so the tension is really built with whether or not they will cross that line between friendship and something more and of course they do and of course it's really hot and of course it is not gratuitous and I love that this book is definitely steamy there's definitely sexual tension there definitely is you know sex scenes or are they definitely are sexies to the book however they're really well written it's not the kind of sweat that you really want to skip over and skim which I like because I feel like a lot of the time lately I have just been like please how many times can I read whole cramming I just don't know but this book wasn't like that it was a delight start to finish I felt like it was great if you like small towns if you like Gilmore Girls this is probably the most Gilmore girlsyou that I have probably read I mean perfect time of year for that right pick it up you're not going to regret it now written at the stars by Alexandria Bor is not necessarily marketed as a holiday romance but I will say in the synopsis I think it mentions thanksgiv thing so I felt like it was appropriate enough to put this book on the list I think it's kind of pedal as like a bridet Jones Diary meets like Pride and Prejudice or something like that and one of the characters is named Darcy so I guess it kind of makes sense but this book is about Darcy and L and they are set up by Darcy's brother and L's cooworker who's it's the same person I think his name is like Ben or something like that he believes in true love and so does el she is sort of a like romantic at heart and Darcy couldn't be anything more different right she's a little bit snobbish and she really doesn't understand 's love and affinity for astrology which is like a major part of 's job so they have this sort of weird introduction before their dinner date and you can tell that both of them are really like physically attracted to each other but once they have you know their actual dinner date they realize they're really kind of incompatible Darcy ends up coming off super snobbish L comes off a little bit flaky flighty ditsy they just couldn't be more incompatible and so they go their separate ways they think like nothing of this they're just going to kind of play it off to is his name Brandon actually I can't remember who cares the man doesn't matter in this equation right they kind of play it off to him and they're like yeah like it just didn't didn't totally work he gives his sister Darcy a hard time he's like you never believe in love you always give up on it to be honest she kind of wants him off her back so she's like hey you know what I might lie it wasn't the perfect date but I think if we went on another date it would be better and she wants to prove to her brother right that she can like be in a successful long-term relationship so she asks L to fake date and L could use fake dating as well to kind of like legitimize her place in her family's eyes right because her family doesn't again really believe in her career similar to how Darcy doesn't believe in 's career I believe she has an successful astrology Twitter account that she runs and she's also going to like help someone make an app based on astrology or like with astrology included so she definitely has a legit career but it's just non-traditional and a lot of people don't really understand that so she definitely use Actuarial skills of Darcy the very like number heavy skills of Darcy to kind of like prove to her parents like I'm a serious person look at my girlfriend do you know what I mean so they uh they faked dat and it is really delightful this book reminded me so much of a movie full disclosure it's not my favorite book that I've read this year I didn't give it five stars but it just reminds me so much of a lot of romcoms that I have watched and in a good way you know the characters are a little bit frustrating the thir act breakup maybe lasts a little bit too long I really liked the characters they again felt very real similar to the characters and kisser once for me and I think if you're looking for a good holiday romance this is really great it's not super Christmas heavy but there are family gatherings that take place around Thanksgiving and Christmas so I just think this is a fun one to pick up and if you haven't picked this one up I think you should it's been out for a while and the other books in the series are equally as fun if you are curious so let's move on to the last two books that I have on this list they're very different from each other first up we have the white Christmas Inn this is probably like the most Hallmark pick on this list it's one that I read back into 2021 I didn't expect to love it given the premise but I did end up really liking it it is again maybe the most stereotypical idea or like plotline ever but it's about this older couple who runs an inn in a small skiing town I believe and there's like a big Inn being built up the road kind of like the ski resort they don't think they're going to be able to last another season because all of their business is being taken right by big Mr capitalism down the road and so they have to make sure this Christmas season is really the one that they cherish you know because they might have to close the business or maybe this will save everything so things are kind of complicated when everybody gets snowed in but there are a ton of people staying at the end and there are multiple points of view in the story so you've got the couple obviously who owns the Inn you have this single woman who's trying to finish her novel you have a widower with his two children who are just trying to recreate some Christmas magic after their mom passed away you also have a woman whose wedding got called off by her fiance like a couple of days before the wedding which was supposed to happen at this Christmas in you've got that girl's childhood friend who ends up coming into the equation I feel like we can kind of all see like who's going to par up together what the outcomes are going to be but it didn't make it less Charming right it was just a really fun cozy wholesome read and I wanted to put it on this list because it is romantic like there are romantic moments within the story I really liked two of the romantic story lines I don't know if there's more than two but I really I really appreciated two of them and sometimes you want something low stakes and unserious to read again that isn't like super smudy I don't think there's any sex scenes in this book but it is romantic it is kind of a romance to me so I put it I put it on the list you know in case you want something a little bit different and last up another something kind of different and definitely very different than the white Christmas in is Mary incist by tell you this is a book again that I read a couple of years ago I'll be honest with you I read a few holiday romances recently over on patreon and they all kind of sucked so a lot of these romances are ones that I've like read a while ago but Mary inas is by Talia hbert and it is a really fun romance that I feel like checks all the boxes that I'm looking for in such a short page length which is really impressive and I don't think I appreciated it as much at the time cuz I looked back at my Goodreads review of this one and I was like kind of rambling on about how there weren't enough sex scenes blah blah blah and I'm like maybe that wasn't what she was going for yeah this book is about our geeky heroin Bailey who I believe works at the front desk at a tattoo shop and cash is the owner of the tattoo shop who's crashing on Bailey pretty hard but doesn't want to like cross those lines because she is his employee and she obviously is attracted to him as well especially since he's always there when she needs him she needs a tire changed he's there Etc there is just the perfect amount of will they won't they in this there is a great epilog that is just exactly what I want from a Christmas romance if you're going to do an epilog and a Christmas romance it better be over the top and I feel like this one totally was and I just feel like the story is great because it isn't just a smudy Nolla I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that I have read a few smudy Christmas novelas that I just didn't feel like including on this list to be honest I feel like this is perfect because there are sex scenes there is romance there is everything that you would want in such a small package sometimes we don't want to commit to reading like a 300 plus page book we just want a nice palette cleanser or we just want like a touch of the holiday spirit you know and I feel like this is the perfect book for that it just it's a really good time Talia Hibert is such a phenomenal author it's insane this is one that a lot of people would like I feel like I don't hear a lot of people talk about this one but it is really good so those are the six Christmas romances or holiday romances I guess I should say that I'm recommending to you I hope that you found something new to read off of this list if you have any romance recommendations in kind of the holiday spirit I would love to know I am constantly searching for good holiday romances because I am a Christmas ass if you didn't know didn't realize give me some re in the comments down below let me know if you're going to pick any of these up also if you would like to pick up one of these rinking be Mary sweatshirts with fun gingerbreads on the sleeve links in the description also I have a couple of other kind Christmasy designs links again in the description if you want to check them out no pressure though obviously I just feel like she's looking quite delightful on camera and I would be remiss if I didn't point it out thanks so much for watching this video I love you all so much and until next Bor is not necessarily marketed as a holiday romance but I will say in the synopsis I think it mentions thanksgiv thing so I felt like it was appropriate enough to put this book on the list I think it's kind of pedal as like a bridet Jones Diary meets like Pride and Prejudice or something like that and one of the characters is named Darcy so I guess it kind of makes sense but this book is about Darcy and L and they are set up by Darcy's brother and L's cooworker who's it's the same person I think his name is like Ben or something like that he believes in true love and so does el she is sort of a like romantic at heart and Darcy couldn't be anything more different right she's a little bit snobbish and she really doesn't understand 's love and affinity for astrology which is like a major part of 's job so they have this sort of weird introduction before their dinner date and you can tell that both of them are really like physically attracted to each other but once they have you know their actual dinner date they realize they're really kind of incompatible Darcy ends up coming off super snobbish L comes off a little bit flaky flighty ditsy they just couldn't be more incompatible and so they go their separate ways they think like nothing of this they're just going to kind of play it off to is his name Brandon actually I can't remember who cares the man doesn't matter in this equation right they kind of play it off to him and they're like yeah like it just didn't didn't totally work he gives his sister Darcy a hard time he's like you never believe in love you always give up on it to be honest she kind of wants him off her back so she's like hey you know what I might lie it wasn't the perfect date but I think if we went on another date it would be better and she wants to prove to her brother right that she can like be in a successful long-term relationship so she asks L to fake date and L could use fake dating as well to kind of like legitimize her place in her family's eyes right because her family doesn't again really believe in her career similar to how Darcy doesn't believe in 's career I believe she has an successful astrology Twitter account that she runs and she's also going to like help someone make an app based on astrology or like with astrology included so she definitely has a legit career but it's just non-traditional and a lot of people don't really understand that so she definitely use Actuarial skills of Darcy the very like number heavy skills of Darcy to kind of like prove to her parents like I'm a serious person look at my girlfriend do you know what I mean so they uh they faked dat and it is really delightful this book reminded me so much of a movie full disclosure it's not my favorite book that I've read this year I didn't give it five stars but it just reminds me so much of a lot of romcoms that I have watched and in a good way you know the characters are a little bit frustrating the thir act breakup maybe lasts a little bit too long I really liked the characters they again felt very real similar to the characters and kisser once for me and I think if you're looking for a good holiday romance this is really great it's not super Christmas heavy but there are family gatherings that take place around Thanksgiving and Christmas so I just think this is a fun one to pick up and if you haven't picked this one up I think you should it's been out for a while and the other books in the series are equally as fun if you are curious so let's move on to the last two books that I have on this list they're very different from each other first up we have the white Christmas Inn this is probably like the most Hallmark pick on this list it's one that I read back into 2021 I didn't expect to love it given the premise but I did end up really liking it it is again maybe the most stereotypical idea or like plotline ever but it's about this older couple who runs an inn in a small skiing town I believe and there's like a big Inn being built up the road kind of like the ski resort they don't think they're going to be able to last another season because all of their business is being taken right by big Mr capitalism down the road and so they have to make sure this Christmas season is really the one that they cherish you know because they might have to close the business or maybe this will save everything so things are kind of complicated when everybody gets snowed in but there are a ton of people staying at the end and there are multiple points of view in the story so you've got the couple obviously who owns the Inn you have this single woman who's trying to finish her novel you have a widower with his two children who are just trying to recreate some Christmas magic after their mom passed away you also have a woman whose wedding got called off by her fiance like a couple of days before the wedding which was supposed to happen at this Christmas in you've got that girl's childhood friend who ends up coming into the equation I feel like we can kind of all see like who's going to par up together what the outcomes are going to be but it didn't make it less Charming right it was just a really fun cozy wholesome read and I wanted to put it on this list because it is romantic like there are romantic moments within the story I really liked two of the romantic story lines I don't know if there's more than two but I really I really appreciated two of them and sometimes you want something low stakes and unserious to read again that isn't like super smudy I don't think there's any sex scenes in this book but it is romantic it is kind of a romance to me so I put it I put it on the list you know in case you want something a little bit different and last up another something kind of different and definitely very different than the white Christmas in is Mary incist by tell you this is a book again that I read a couple of years ago I'll be honest with you I read a few holiday romances recently over on patreon and they all kind of sucked so a lot of these romances are ones that I've like read a while ago but Mary inas is by Talia hbert and it is a really fun romance that I feel like checks all the boxes that I'm looking for in such a short page length which is really impressive and I don't think I appreciated it as much at the time cuz I looked back at my Goodreads review of this one and I was like kind of rambling on about how there weren't enough sex scenes blah blah blah and I'm like maybe that wasn't what she was going for yeah this book is about our geeky heroin Bailey who I believe works at the front desk at a tattoo shop and cash is the owner of the tattoo shop who's crashing on Bailey pretty hard but doesn't want to like cross those lines because she is his employee and she obviously is attracted to him as well especially since he's always there when she needs him she needs a tire changed he's there Etc there is just the perfect amount of will they won't they in this there is a great epilog that is just exactly what I want from a Christmas romance if you're going to do an epilog and a Christmas romance it better be over the top and I feel like this one totally was and I just feel like the story is great because it isn't just a smudy Nolla I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that I have read a few smudy Christmas novelas that I just didn't feel like including on this list to be honest I feel like this is perfect because there are sex scenes there is romance there is everything that you would want in such a small package sometimes we don't want to commit to reading like a 300 plus page book we just want a nice palette cleanser or we just want like a touch of the holiday spirit you know and I feel like this is the perfect book for that it just it's a really good time Talia Hibert is such a phenomenal author it's insane this is one that a lot of people would like I feel like I don't hear a lot of people talk about this one but it is really good so those are the six Christmas romances or holiday romances I guess I should say that I'm recommending to you I hope that you found something new to read off of this list if you have any romance recommendations in kind of the holiday spirit I would love to know I am constantly searching for good holiday romances because I am a Christmas ass if you didn't know didn't realize give me some re in the comments down below let me know if you're going to pick any of these up also if you would like to pick up one of these rinking be Mary sweatshirts with fun
