**Building the Ultimate Gaming Rig**
For this build, Louie has chosen the Ryzen Threadripper 1920 X, a 12-core and 24-thread processor that promises to deliver high performance for gaming and content creation. The reason behind choosing this specific processor is its value for power, allowing Louie to handle demanding tasks such as video editing without sacrificing too much performance.
The motherboard used in this build is the ASRock X 399 Taichi, a highly reviewed board with a unique steampunk-inspired design. Louie has opted for this particular model due to its reputation and limited supply of X 3 9 9 boards.
Another crucial component of this build is the cooling system. Louie has chosen the Kraken X 62 liquid cooler, which is compatible with the Threadripper via an ASA tech bracket. The reason behind selecting this specific cooler is its aesthetics, as well as concerns about the coolant's performance. Despite these reservations, the cooler should provide adequate cooling for the processor.
The storage solution in this build is a Samsung NVMe SSD 960 EVO, which comes in two capacities: 512 GB and 500 GB. Both options promise exceptional read and write speeds, making them ideal for storing games, programs, and data.
**Choosing the Right Case**
For the case of this build, Louie has selected the NZXT S340 Elite tempered glass version. This case offers a sleek design with a unique look that complements the steampunk-inspired motherboard. The tempered glass side panel provides excellent airflow and visibility, making it an ideal choice for showcasing the build's components.
**Building the Rig**
With all the parts chosen, Louie began building the rig. However, this was not without its challenges. One of the difficulties encountered during installation was the unique design of the Threadripper cooler, which required careful attention to ensure proper installation. Additionally, the pump was installed upside down, resulting in a minor setback.
Despite these issues, the build progressed smoothly, and all components were successfully installed. Before reassembling the case, Louie double-checked that all connections were secure and that the power cables were properly routed.
**The Final Product**
With the rig finally complete, Louie was eager to test it out. To their surprise, the system booted up successfully, indicating that the build was a success. However, there are still plans to upgrade this case with water cooling solutions in the future, which will enhance its overall performance and aesthetics.
The final product is an impressive gaming rig that promises to deliver exceptional performance for tasks such as video editing, 3D modeling, and gaming. With its powerful Ryzen Threadripper processor, efficient cooling system, and fast storage solution, this build is poised to handle even the most demanding workloads.
**Benchmarks and Performance**
Now that the build is complete, it's time to put it through its paces. Benchmarks will reveal the performance capabilities of this rig, including its ability to handle demanding games at high resolutions and frame rates. With its powerful processor and efficient cooling system, this build should be able to deliver exceptional performance for gaming and content creation tasks.
The results of these benchmarks will provide valuable insights into the performance of this build, allowing Louie and his audience to determine if it's worth considering for their own builds.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: eneverybody this is Christmas coalition gaming here with Bitcoin Louie and we're getting ready to do this threader for build so let's run through the parts now we have the EVGA 750 watt supernova g3 power supply why'd you pick this familiy great reviews and I'm actually planning to use some of the parts for the mining machine than I thought okay cool over here we have the G scale Trident Z 16 gigabyte ddr4 3200 kit trying to hit that 3200 overclock that people keep saying it's hard to hit yeah actually speaking of that because Rison likes high-speed memory so here we have the risin thread Ripper I believe this is the 1920 X this is a 12 quart 24 thread and well why'd you pick this one value really it's because it's got so much power you can code video edit not as much power you know I don't want to go 1950 and I'll overdo it got to be sensible mm-hmm so over here we have Louise our X 480 and while it does look a bit macgyvered that's because it has this the Arctic twin turbo 2 a aftermarket cooling fan setup on it and this helps keep the rx 480 temps in check so pretty cool that you put that on there man pretty ugly look pretty cool yeah mainboard here X 399 taichi asrock board really nice board really liked the whole sort of steampunk look it has with the gear over the logo and the color scheme is really nice why'd you go this yeah again Tai Chi was a highly reviewed as far as the x-29 9 boards so I just want to go with this one as well it was a limited supply of X 3 9 9 boards well I'll get there you got one yeah cool and then over here we have the Kraken X 62 liquid cooler well it is compatible with the thread Ripper via its ASA tech bracket why'd you go with that one specifically I just think it looks badass that's deal what is that infinite infinity mirror yeah yeah that's a nice one but I'm worried about the coolant because I'm hearing stuff that it doesn't cover although oh the entire die yeah I think it'll do okay though I think it'll do okay and then finally we have the m-dot to Samsung nvm is nvme SSD 960 this is a 512 or 500 this is 500 500 gig Drive ya know well either way it's gonna be incredibly fast you just like Samsung yeah I love Samsung Evo over here that's also gonna be imported from England upgrade well that's the gear so that's all the parts let's get to it so for this build Louie over here chose the NZXT s340 elite tempered glass version of the s 340 really nice case and with this building it's gonna look great especially going with the color scheme here with the dark colors versus light colors if you didn't see our unboxing of this case there's going to be a little link to it in the card right up here and go ahead and click on it check it out so let's get the thread Ripper installed it is a bit of unique installation so let's go ahead and check that up Oh alright so with the front panel off we actually have access to tighten the hard drive down so we're going to go ahead and do that down here is where you would do that from because you have access to the base so before we put the front panel back on I just really wanted to make sure we get that done so we got the cooler on everybody is this supposed to be upside down and DX oh you're right dang it we installed the pump upside down the cable should be coming out this way instead of this way so we're gonna go ahead and pull it off and it gives us an opportunity to check the thermal paste application says since I did a big glob in the middle with two dots on the top and bottom of it is it yeah it lit out from the minute yeah it looks like some of its missing from the middle but okay that's not terrible cuz it actually went to the entire cold plate here so it's kinda interesting all right so the build is complete everything is good everything is plugged in this was easy to build in so definitely really do like this case however ethnically we have some words about some other things in there almost everything was good we are using an old video card with a aftermarket cooler that's not the nicest looking cooler in the world does a great job but in the future we are going to be upgrading this case to water cooling solutions this is all just temporary so definitely going to step it up with the sleeve cable look a nicer looking graphics card everything is going to look a lot cleaner however it now is the moment of truth we're gonna go ahead and see if it boots up go boys hey-oh successful posts we're gonna go ahead and get to bench in this overclocking and checking out what kind what kind of numbers that this twelve course the Red River can put out if you guys like this video make sure you click that like button click that subscribe button to see more we always got more coming and
